Sunday Slam Intro
Logan vs Tony S
Portalcide Segment
Creeping Death vs The Freedom Fighters
Hardcore Title: Burn Out vs David Baker
Bishop/Priest vs Death/Torture
Tag Titles: Trent Hunter/Neo vs DKX
Adema's Immortal plays, and the Slam fireworks go off as we come on the air! We pan around the arena, looking at signs and the like. We then go to the announcer booth, as always.
Kyle Steel: Kyle Steel here, with Shannan Lerch.
Shannan Lerch: And thankfully, not Luscious Jackson. I can't stand him.
Kyle Steel: It's the first Slam since Till Death Do Us Part, and we have the fallout of that show tonight.
Shannan Lerch: Trent Hunter ran out in the big Tag Title match, and he went to attack Death with a chair. Death ducked, and he accidently hit X Rated. Dake Ken saw this and thought that Hunter had betrayed them. DKX would go on to win the match, but Neo did not get pinned; so some are saying that really, Neo never exactly lost the Tag Titles. And all that brought us up to our match tonight.
Kyle Steel: Hunter and Neo vs DKX. And what an insane match it will be. Can Neo and Trent Hunter trust each other? I kind of doubt it.
Shannan Lerch: We'll find out later tonight. We also have Bishop and Priest taking on Death and Torture. Bishop and Priest have been on a roll, but Death and Torture are undefeated in Tag Team matches. These two teams are going to collide, and the winners will go on to face DKX for the Tag Titles at the next PPV.
Kyle Steel: And you KNOW Death and Torture would love to win that, as they're part of the Enforcers. We'll see a Hardcore Title defense, as Burn Out challenges David Baker. Baker has been on a roll, he's kept that Title for a while. He had an insane match with Jason Tilley at Till Death Do Us Part... I shudder to remember it.
Shannan Lerch: And the most hated man in WCF management, Creeping Death. Seth has never liked him, and he tried to choke Ortega at Till Death Do Us Part. He's been put into a One on Three match, against the Freedom Fighters. I'm not so sure if he has a chance.
Kyle Steel: And in our opening match... that's right, our OPENING MATCH... Logan takes on Tony S. You may be asking yourself why Logan is fighting a rookie. Lerch has decided to make Logan "start over", essentially, at the bottom of his card, making him work himself up. And let's see if he can do it!
Metallica's "The Struggle Within " plays throughout the arena, and the audience immediately recognizes Logan's theme as they begin to boo. Logan steps out from behind the black curtains, drenched in water and slowly walks down the ramp flicking off the crowd, and talking as much crap to them as he can. Logan rolls into the ring, and grabs his crotch yelling at the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: There isn't much there to grab... trust me.
Downfall by Trust Company plays, and Tony S walks out. He goes to the ring, looking unintimidated. As soon as he's inside, the bell rings.
Kyle Steel: Well.. let's see what Tony S has to offer.
Tony and Logan approach each other, and tie up. Logan pushes Tony away, laughing as he does so. Tony doesn't seem to let it bother him, and they tie up again. Logan, again, pushes Tony away, laughing it off. This time Tony slaps Logan across the face! The crowd "Ooooh"'s in unison.
Shannan Lerch: Well.. this Tony S guy has balls, at least.
Logan immediately fires back with fist after fist after fist before tackling Tony down and continuing to punch him. Logan soon rolls off, Tony gets to his feet, Logan runs at Tony and goes for a Clothesline, Tony ducks it and hits a big German Suplex!! The crowd roars as he does so, and quickly pins Logan.
Kyle Steel: Holy sh-.. we may have an upset!
One!
Two!
No!
Shannan Lerch: Damn.
Logan kicks out, forcefully. Tony picks Logan up, and Logan again fires back, with a few punches and martial arts kicks. Logan then switches behind Tony and hits a German Suplex of his own. He yells something, and we can barely make it out as "THIS is how you German Suplex, boudle!". Logan stomps Tony a few more times, and then hits an Elbow Drop. He picks Tony up and goes for a Brainbuster, but Tony flips behind Logan and then irish whips him into the ropes. Logan leapfrogs over Tony as he's coming back, bounces off the other set of ropes, and then hits a Running Spin Kick.
Kyle Steel: Tony fighting valiantly, but Logan keeps getting the upper hand.
Tony goes down to the mat. Logan grabs his legs and is going to apply some hold, but Tony kicks him away. Tony gets to his feet quickly and kicks Logan in the gut. He follows up with a quick Suplex. He then grabs Logan's leg and applies an Ankle Lock! Logan yells out in pain.
Shannan Lerch: Tony may be a rookie, but ANYONE applying that move... it hurts.
Logan crawls as fast as he can towards the ropes, and is soon able to reach them. Tony S is forced to break the hold. He picks Logan up, and Logan again begins fighting back. Logan punches Tony S a few more times, but soon Tony fights back as well, hitting punches of his own! Tony goes to whip Logan to the ropes, but Logan counters it, pulls Tony in, switches behind, and locks in a Sleeperhold...
Kyle Steel: We know what's happening next.
Logan hits The Connector. The fans boo as Logan pins, hooking the leg.
One...
Two...
Three.
Shannan Lerch: Lame. Logan wins.
Logan stands up and raises his arms in the air, and yells "SHUT UP!" at the crowd. He rolls out of the ring and heads to the back.
Kyle Steel: Hey, something is going on in the parking
lot!
We cut to the parking lot where we see Allen 'Portal'
Bartsch and Amanda walking towards James Suicide.
Amanda is heavily taped up and holding a chair.
Amanda: C'mon you bastard! I've had enough of this
crap.
Portal: C'mon hon, calm down.... Let me handle this.
Portal is trying to keep Amanda away from Suicide
while Suicide is egging her on.
Suicide: Come on baby.... I'm right here..... What
Allen, What? You can't fight your own battles? You
gotta get your girl to fight for ya? Damn, maybe if
Manda was my partner I wouldn't have a losing record.
Portal turns towards Suicide at hearing that.
Portal: Really? That's the way you feel Cide? It's
all my fault? OK, let's do this... Ortega said we
could beat the heck out of each other.... lets go to
it.
Portal and Suicide start to fight. Back and forth
untill Suicide knocks Portal down on the ground and
starts stomping him for a few seconds. Amanda runs up
and threatens Suicide with the chair. Suicide backs
up.
Suicide: Hey, Hey.... Calm down there honey.....
Portal is slowly standing up when... Whack... Amanda
hits him in the head with the chair. Whack.. Whack..
Whack.. Whack.. She hits him four more times before
Suicide stops her.
Suicide: That's enough.
Suicide gets down in Portals face.
Suicide: And that's why you are a loser... You trust
too much.. You never... ever... Saw it coming....
Suicide and Amanda walk off, laughing.
Kyle Steel: Wow.. I don't believe that.
Shannan Lerch: I can't say I saw it coming either... This team is just as good as dead.
Born In The USA plays and the fans start to cheer. Sylk "The Natural" Walker, Klubber Klabanski and Chief Bald Eagle with Ms. Liberty all walk out
together. They slide in the ring and Ms. Liberty stands in their corner.
Kyle Steel: That Ms. Liberty... I'd ring her bell.
The lights go out as the crowd cheers in anticipation. A few seconds later,
"Swinging the Dead" by Devildriver hits, and a white light begins flashing
through the darkness. When the song really picks up, about twenty seconds
into it, Creeping Death walks out onto the stage, wearing a shiny steel
hockey mask. The light continutes to flash as Creeping Death walks down the
aisle. When reaching the ring, Creeping Death slides in under the bottom
rope. Inside, he gives the whole metal \m/ sign with both hands in the air
before he takes his hockey mask off and places it under a set of
turnbuckles.
Cut the music...Cut the music!!! A voice says from over the loud speaker.
Shannan Lerch: Uh oh, what's this?
Davey Ortega appears on the Jumbotron. Davey has a band aid covering
stitched on his forehead
Davey Ortega: Creeping Death...I don't know what the hell you were thinking at Till Death Do Us Part... but when you hit me with your move, you
busted me open. I had to be rushed to the hospital for stitches!! So
tonight, for your punishment...you will face all three members of the
Freedom Fighters! Only...It will not be a normal match up. Instead I thought
maybe a....Table Match! Enjoy.
The Jumbotron turns off.
Kyle Steel: Creeping Death may love table matches and violence, but I'm not sure how he'll love it against three men.
The Freedom Fighters look at each other and then Ms. Liberty, she looks just
as shocked and confused as they do. CD just angrily stares at the Jumbotron,
even though it is off. The Freedom Fighters all start to rush to CD, until
CD turns and looks at them, stopping all of them. CD suddenly starts to
attack Sylk with furious right hands until BE clotheslines him onto the
mat. They all three start stomping on him and CD is helpless. BE picks him
up and puts him in a full nelson. KK tells Sylk to kick CD. Sylk throws a
thrust kick but CD gets out of the full nelson, causing Sylk to hit BE. BE
stumbles a bit, CD runs to the rope and hits a forearm smash knocking down
BE. KK comes up behind CD and hits a pump handle slam. Sylk positions
himself on the top rope as KK holds CD down. Sylk flies of the top rope and
hits CD with a flying headbutt. BE slides out of the ring and gets a table.
He slides it in the ring and leans it on the turnbuckle. KK picks up CD and
takes him near the table. He then lifts him up in the body slam position.
Shannan Lerch: That could be it.
CD is able to escape his grasps and slides behind him. He pushes KK into the
table then dropkicks him, breaking the table. The ref signals for the bell.
Creeping Death wins! Davey Ortega, with no music walks to the entrance way.
Davey Ortega: Whoa...whoa..whoaaaa. Hold on one damn minute. I never said when one
member of the Freedom Fighters is put through a table...that the team loses.
Infact, that member is not even eliminated. Creep..since they are a team, a
force... one, single entity...you have to put all three of them through a
table at the same time! That is the only way you can win!
CD looks angrily at Davey.
Kyle Steel: That's impossible!!
While CD is distracted, BE is behind him. CD turns around and is hit with the Eagles Claw to his head! CD is forced down
to his ring screaming in pain. Sylk goes to the outside and gets another
table. He slides it in the ring and sets it up. KK gets up and takes CD from
BE. KK hoists CD onto his shoulders and BE goes to the top. They hit the
Flying Eagle and put CD through the table!
Shannan Lerch: The Freedom Fighters win!
CD is unconcious, and Davey is heading towards the ring. Davey slides into the
ring and put on his brass knucks. He picks up CD and punches him in the head
with the knucks. CD is busted open! Davey holds up the Freedom Fighters
hands as Born In The USA plays.
Kyle Steel: I don't believe Ortega would do that, wow. I don't think the Freedom Fighters really endorse Ortega's actions, by the looks of it.
The Freedom Fighters roll out of the ring and head to the back. Ortega follows.
Kyle Steel: David Baker has been in a line of bloody matches so far.
Shannan Lerch: Yes, and he claims that he isn’t a hardcore wrestler.
Kyle Steel: We will see just how ‘hardcore’ he is by this match. He has been badly beaten, and is probably still injured, yet, Seth throws him right back out into the lime light.
Shannan Lerch: He could be pushing Baker to better stardom...
Kyle Steel: Or trying to kill him. Either way, he has a match tonight...
The sound of a motorcycle revving goes through the PA system. Burn Out gets a mixed crowd of cheers and boos as he makes his way out from behind the curtain. He rides down the ramp revving his bike. He takes his time as he circles around the ring. Finally, he gets off of his bike and rolls into the ring. He goes to pose for the crowd, but “Proven” by Hatebreed blasts out of the sound system before he can. With an annoyed look on his face, he watches the ramp. Out of nowhere, David comes up from the audience and tackles Burn Out down. He starts to pound away on his back.
Kyle Steel: I think he didn’t want to give Burn Out a chance to wear him down again.
Shannan Lerch: That was a smart move on David’s part.
The bell rings and David picks Burn Out up. Burn Out punches David in the mid-section, but then, David whips Burn Out to the ropes. Before he can come back, Baker closelines him over the ropes. David stops to take a breath.
Kyle Steel: If he’s already getting tired, we might see Burn Out win this one.
Shannan Lerch: Have faith, David seems to be dominating as of yet.
Burn Out gets up and reaches under the ring,, he pulls out a chair. He slides into the ring. David backs up a bit. Burn Out charges at Baker, but David manage to chop Burn Out in the stomach. Burn Out drops the chair, but swings at Baker. David blocks that and kicks towards Burn Out. Sidestepping, Burn Out throws a chop at Baker. This turns into a series of blocks and dodges from both competitors like an old kung-fu flick.
Kyle Steel: Burn Out and Baker showing off their martial arts knowledge.
Burn Out gets the advantage as he plants a hard fist into Baker’s face. Then, he goes to kick David as he is down. Instead, David flips back up and spins around, sweeping Burn Out to the ground. David backs up to recuperate. Burn Out breathes heavily as David stands there. He backs up a bit. Burn Out stands up and David plants his heel into his face with a Superkick.
Shannan Lerch: David may have the advantage here.
Baker walks over to Burn Out, but he gets a chair into his gut. Baker keels over as Burn Out smashes the chair over his head. Instantly, he is broken open again.
Kyle Steel: He’s exploiting Baker’s weaknesses.
Baker gets up and DDTs Burn Out into the chair. Next, Baker goes for the top-rope. He climbs to the top and stops. He rests for a bit, then, he flies off with a moonsault into pin. One... two... No. Burn Out barely kicks out. Baker picks Burn Out up, and quickly hits The Xero onto the chair he was using a moment ago! He pins again.
Shannan Lerch: Goodnight, it's over.
One.. two.. three. Shannan was right for once, and it IS over. David Baker grabs his Hardcore Title, rolls out of the ring, and breathes heavily a bit before heading to the back.
Kyle Steel: David Baker is simply unstoppable.
