WCF Sunday Slam Intro

Glasgow Mega-Snake by Mogwai, the new Sunday Slam theme, blasts over the PA system, and the first edition of the new Sunday Slam is on the air! The fans roar as loud as ever. The new stage has a large Jumbotron like most big time wrestling stages, but a circular entryway instead of the typical rectangle/square. There's a large "WCF" logo over the Jumbotron, and two large "SLAM" logos on either side. We go ringside to our announcers.

Zach Davis: Welcome, fans, to this first edition of the new Sunday Slam! I'm Zach Davis, of course, and this is Shannan Lerch.

Shannan Lerch: Thankfully, minus that Luscious Davis ass.

Zach Davis: Indeed. We have a jam packed night tonight! TWO champions will be crowned, plus a NINE man tag in our main event. How often is that done!?

Shannan Lerch: Pretty much never!

Zach Davis: Exactly. First up, three men that worked together in the War. Logan, the man who won. Reckless Jack. And Wreck. Next, the team of Dake Ken, who ALMOST beat Logan more than once, Creeping Death, and Davey Ortega. Creeping Death got screwed out of the match when the lights went out, and got pinned by Jack. As for Ortega, he has some beef with the other team.

Shannan Lerch: My brother, and the owner of WCF, Seth Lerch, teaming with Mob Mentality, Rick Mad and Rage. That is a pretty formidable team, if I do say so myself!

Zach Davis: You would. Davey Ortega wants control of WCF, which Seth has. The two used to be close associates, but now... well, not so much. So we'll see what goes down there.

Shannan Lerch: As for our Television Title match... we have three of the biggest unknowns to establish themselves at War. Kurtis Victory we've seen before, and he's aligned himself with veteran Torture. Big Country and Tommy Havock are new, however. Tommy made it the farthest, but Big Country was up there as well. Only one of these men will win the TV Title.

Zach Davis: In our second Title match, Dark Prophet goes one on one with Nate Nytro. Prophet was no slouch either, and he used a barbed wire chair, busting open more than one guy. Including Logan of all people. For some reason he's being rewarded for that behavior with a chance to win a Title.

Shannan Lerch: Nate Nytro is no slouch though! He's held gold before, and although he didn't fare wonderfully in War, I think he has a decent chance here. We'll have to see.

Zach Davis: In our opening match, we'll see Simply Outrageous take on the team of Jon Michaels and Alex Adams. Michaels got shafted at the PPV, coming in fairly early and getting eliminated fairly early as well, so he'll be looking to prove himself moreso tonight.

Shannan Lerch: We haven't seen anything from Alex Adams yet, but they'll need to prove themselves to beat the huge team of Simply Outrageous.

Zach Davis: Before that, however, Seth Lerch has something going on in the ring?

Torture Segment

We cut to inside of the historic WCF wrestling ring.

Seth Lerch stands in the middle of the ring. Sitting next to him is a small podium type deal, with something on top of that, yet a red blanket drapes over whats underneath it.

Seth Lerch: Tons of wrestlers have came through those curtains right there. Tons. Believe me, I've seen even more wrestlers in the back, but in this business, you either have it or you don't, so a lot of guys get canned before they even hit those curtains. However, one man stood above most. One man that I put on the same level as Logan. I've never even said that in all seriousness. This man fought day in, day out, and made everyone around him a winner. Whether it be tag teams that he was thrown together with, or the men that had his back, they were all winners. He had dedication and love for this sport, and brought me more ratings, more fans, more money than I knew what to do with. If you guys don't mind I'd like to welcome this wrestler out here, by himself. I have something for him. Ladies and gentlemen please rise, for the second best wrestler in WCF, the longest Hardcore Champion, the longest undefeated streak in WCF with 51 wins... TORTURE!

Cypress Hill bangs over the speakers, as Torture makes his way to the ring. Obvisiouly confused. He steps into the ring.

Seth Lerch: Torture, Torture, Torture. I miss you man. I mean. Well. You know. Lets get to the point. Tonight, a whole new WCF races on. New wrestlers. New stories. New characters. Pretty much NEW WCF altogether, however, the championships, the records, the awards are staying the same. Even the Hardcore title. Now, I could be a cold heartless son of a bitch and not give a damn, but I honestly do. For some reason. I don't know. Welp, long story short. Under this cover is the WCF Hardcore Championship.

Seth pulls it off. The title, shinning in all it's glory, sits there. Torture looks harder at the belt, and his face turns to the smile, we've all come to love.

Seth Lerch: Thats right Torture. Camera-man. Zoom in on this. Fans, Torture's name is still on the title, and I thought it would only be fitting if Torture took his name plate off the title, and kept it.

Torture stands in front of the title slides his finger tips over the shiny gold that glistens. He slides his name plate off, looks at it, and just smiles in all his glory.

Seth Lerch: Well former champ. Tonight we crown a new Hardcore Champion. Thanks Torture for everything you've done here in WCF. Wanna say something?

Mic is handed out in front of him. Torture grabs the mic.

Torture: 51 wins. Thats a lot. Most of those wins came right here in this ring defending that very title. Man. This owns hard. I'm going to cherrish every memory I have with that title. I'm retired now, and won't be wrestling ever again, however, tonight isn't about me. It's about the new Champion. Whoever it is, just know, that the Hardcore Championship is the stepping stone into main events. Global recognition. World Title shots. Pay Per Views. Mass media. It's great. This is great. Torture. Out!

Torture drops the mic, pounds his chest and points his thumbs back at his chest, as the crowd chants in unison. SO! DAMN! COOL! Cypress Hill plays as Seth and Torture walk up the rampway.

Simply Outrageous vs Jon Michaels and Alex Adams

Rollin by Limp Bizkit plays and Burn Out and Road Rage, Simply Outrageous, come out. They ride motorcycles down to the ring.

The sick guitar riffs that start off Walk play, and Jon Michaels comes out and points towards the back, and Laura Michaels steps out to a huge reaction. Jon plays the crowd and meets Laura in the middle of the stage, and they kiss. Jon then makes his way to the ring, pointing down at his opponent, his wife following him. Jon it talking trash, and jumps up on the apron, and Laura crawls into the ring between his legs, and she looks up, and Jon bends over and kisses her on the forehead. Jon enters the ring, and Laura points to Jon as he plays the crowd on the turnbuckle.

We hear the roar of the start to "Born Again Anarchist" The crowd starts to cheer when Alex Adams steps onto the stage. He walks down the rampway, slaping the hands of the fans along the way. Once he is in the ring, he headbangs on one of the turnbuckles.

Zach Davis: We have the contestants, let's do this!

Jon Michaels starts the match for his team, and Burn Out for this. They tie up, but Burn Out pushes him off and then Clotheslines him down as he gets up. He gets up again, and again Burn Out hits a Clothesline. Michaels is up one more time, and this time ducks the Clothesline. Burn Out turns around quickly, grabs Michaels' throat... but no, as he lifts him up, Jon kicks him and gets down before hitting a huge DDT!

Shannan Lerch: Burn Out tried to end the match a little early there, and it cost him.

Michaels tags in Adams. Adams jumps in and goes on the attack, kicking the fallen Burn Out repeatedly. He then locks him in the Dragon Sleeper, but after a few seconds Road Rage is into the ring and kicks him right in the head, causing him to break the hold. Burn Out stands up and kicks Adams a few times for picking him up and throwing him to the ropes. He hits a huge Powerslam into pin!.. One, two, no, Adams kicks out.

Zach Davis: Close call!

Burn Out tags in Road Rage. They wait for Adams to stand on his own power, and then use a Double Clothesline before Burn Out gets out of the ring.

Shannan Lerch: This is where the fact that these men are an actual team comes into play. They know each other better and will work better together.

Road Rage picks Alex up and throws him to the ropes. He hits a Big Boot. He's about to pin, but Jon Michaels is on the ropes and hits a big Springboard Missile Dropkick! Burn Out gets into the ring and runs at Michaels, going to Clothesline him over the ropes, but Michaels ducks and hits a Back Bodydrop, sending Burn Out over the top rope and to the floor outside! Jon then vaults himself and hits a Splash to the outside! The whole arena is chanting "WCF! WCF!"

Zach Davis: Good to hear those chants again, but WHOA! Jon Michaels with the high flyingness out of nowhere.

In the ring, Alex and Road Rage are back up. Adams is on the attack, and hits a huge Dragon Suplex that results in a pin! One... two... no! Kickout!

Shannan Lerch: Almost had it there. Thats a tough move to hit on such a big man.

Alex picks Road Rage up, and R.R. starts fighting back. Road Rage whips him to the ropes and then kicks him in the gut.. and quickly hits the Rager Edge! The ref drops for the pin..

One!

Two!

Three!

Zach Davis: Ding ding! Winner.

Shannan Lerch: Simply Outrageous is simply victorious.

Hardcore Title: Dark Prophet vs Nate Nytro

The lights fade to a crimson hue, and the cryptic and eerie intro to "Falling Away From Me" by Korn begins to echo through the P.A. speakers. As the guitars rip through the speakers like the dead being drug through a swamp, lightning hits the entrance ramp, exploding in a plume of smoke, and Dark Prophet slowly begins to walk out from the back. Prophet is met with jeers from his haters, and cheers from his long standing fans. He approaches the ring and slides under the ropes. As he rises, the lights rise as well, and Prophet takes off his trenchcoat and lays it by the ringpost and the stairs.

Zach Davis: That man is just plain scary.

The arena is covered in a blanket of darkness, as a solitary green light shines on the entrance way. After the small opening riff, the drums smash in and lights flash and spiral everywhere (white, green, and blue are the main colors). Nate Nytro makes his entrance, walking up the ramp and sliding into the ring. He waves and hand claps on his way to the ring, and taunts on the turnbuckle as he gets in.

Shannan Lerch: Awfully cocky-

Dark Prophet grabs Nate from behind and hits him a few times while he's on the turnbuckle! Nate's music quickly dies and Prophet positions himself under him... and hits a BRUTAL Powerbomb to Facecrusher.

Zach Davis: Bonecrusher!

Shannan Lerch: Yeah, Nate probably shouldn't have turned his back on him like that.

Dark Prophet stomps on Nate a few times before rolling out of the ring and getting a chair. He lifts it up and smashes it down on Nate's back, and Nate writhes in pain. Prophet smashes him again, and again, and again. He then picks Nytro up and grabs his throat.. Chokeslam onto the chair!

Zach Davis: Only a short amount of time into this match, and he's dismantling Nate.

He rolls out of the ring and grabs ANOTHER chair. He rolls in, smashes Nytro once with it, and then sets it on top of him. The chair from before is under him.

Shannan Lerch: Nytro sandwich.

Dark Prophet climbs to the top rope.. and hits a 450 Splash!

Zach Davis: Holy CRAP! That man is friggin HUGE, how in the hell...

He pins Nytro. One... two....

He lifts Nate up and shakes his head.

Shannan Lerch: He.. he isn't done yet.

He rolls out of the ring once again, and goes under the apron this time. He pulls out.. another chair.. but this one, wrapped in barbed wire.

Zach Davis: We saw this at War!

He rolls back in, and positions the chair so that it is stuck on the turnbuckle. He picks Nate up and throws him to the ropes, he runs himself, and at just the right time Spears Nate right into the barbed wire chair turnbuckle!! Nate yells out in pain, his back bleeding. Prophet smiles at the sight of blood and makes the pin.

One.

Two.

Three.

Shannan Lerch: Mercifully, it's over.

Zach Davis: No, there was no mercy about it. Dark Prophet just got bored.

Prophet stands up, smiling, as his music plays again. The ref hands him the Hardcore Title, and he rolls out of the ring, heading to the back.

Shannan Lerch: And our new WCF Hardcore Champion, Dark Prophet. Oh my.

Zach Davis: I don't know if Torture would have wanted it this way.

Television Title: Kurtis Victory vs Tommy Havock vs Big Country

Kurtis Victory comes out to Fort Minor's Remember The Name. Walks down the ramp and into the ring. The crowd cheers him. He steps into the ring, and is ready to wrestle.

Three spotlights, (one red, one blue, and one silver) pan around the arena before meeting at the entrance ramp where they all turn white. Tommy Havock appears and stops to pose as pyrotechnics blast behind him. He is methodical in his approach to the ring, pauing to interact with the fans as appropriate. Before he enters the ring, he pauses on the apron to once again acknowledge the fans. He climbs to the middle turnbuckle and extends both arms to "show off" his body.

"Keep Away" hits and Big Country walks out, stopping at the entranceway to survey the crowd. He walks towards the ring, over the top rope and stands in his corner for the beginning of the match.

Zach Davis: This should be an excellent match. The best new talent WCF has to offer!

The three men circle the ring, looking at one another cautiously. They approach each other, and all three men initiate collar and elbow tieups!

Shannan Lerch: This may be the first three man tieup WCF has ever seen.

KV takes the initiative and hits Arm Wringers on both men simultaneously. They both quickly kick him and whip him to the ropes. As he's come back, Big Country picks him up like a Sidewalk Slam and Havock hits a Neckbreaker.

Zach Davis: Double teaming good old KV, can't be good for him.

Shannan Lerch: No duh.

Victory rolls out of the ring. Havock then goes on the attack, kicking Big Country in the leg several times. He bounces off the ropes and tries to Clothesline him down, but to no avail. Havock bounces off again, goes for another big Clothesline, but no, Country is still standing. Havock hits one more big Clothesline and this time Country drops to the mat. He kicks Country right in the leg a few times before locking in the STF.

Zach Davis: Painful submission hold applied! You don't want to get a limb taken out this early in the match.

KV is back in the ring, and hits an Elbow Drop onto Havock, forcing him to break up the hold. KV stomps on both of them, trying to keep them down. Havock is the first up, though, and KV starts hitting him with lefts and rights, forcing him into the turnbuckle. Victory tries to Clothesline him, but Havock ducks and hits lefts and rights of his own. He throws KV to the turnbuckle on the other side. Victory stumbles forward and Havock grabs him in a huge Belly to Belly Suplex!

Shannan Lerch: Ouch! Brutal. That man is a machine.

Big Country is up, and he hits forearms to Havock's back from behind. He spins him around, hits him with a few forearms to the head, and then picks him up in the Vertical Suplex position. He hits a Brainbuster! He then drops for the pin. One... two... No, Havock gets the shoulder up.

Zach Davis: That was close. A Brainbuster really disorients you.

Shannan Lerch: How do you know? You're just a nerd who has never wrestled.

Zach Davis: I.. um, well.. shut up.

Big Country picks Havock up, and Havock is still slightly dizzy. Big Country gets him in position for a Piledriver!

Shannan Lerch: If he hits this, it's over, Havock will be so out of it.

Victory is back in the match, and he hits Country from behind a few times before he can execute the Piledriver. Havock escapes and catches his bearings. Big Country turns to Victory and grabs his throat... Chokeslam!

Zach Davis: Big Country is on fire-

Country turns back around to Havock, who grabs him and hits a Shin Breaker. He never lets go of the leg, and locks in the Sharpshooter!

Shannan Lerch: Shades of Bret Hart.

Zach Davis: Remember, he had the STF locked in earlier. He's really working that leg.

KV sees this, and goes for a Standing Dropkick to Havock's head. Havock moves out of the way the best he can and releases the hold. He then ducks a Clothesline from KV, goes for a German Suplex, but Victory lands on his feet. Victory then grabs him and hits a German of his own!

Shannan Lerch: Good move, let's see if Torture's protege can capitalize.

Victory stumbles around the ring for a second, thinking about what to do next. He notices Big Country on the ground, clutching his leg, and smiles to himself. He starts stomping on the leg, just like Havock had been.

Zach Davis: He's stealing Havock's strategy!

Shannan Lerch: Smart man. That's just capitalizing on your enemy's weak point.

And bam, Victory locks in the Figure Four.

Zach Davis: Which just happens to be one of Havock's trademark moves..

Big Country yells out and tries his best to resist, but he has no choice but to tap out!

Shannan Lerch: Kurtis Victory has won the Television Title!

Victory releases the hold and stands up, taking the Title in his arms. He raises it in the air to a huge ovation before dropping down and rolling out, heading to the back.

Zach Davis: I can't help but feel like Havock was kind of cheated. He went to all the work to weaken Country's leg, and then Victory capitalized...

Shannan Lerch: I'm sure WCF's wonderful owner will take that under consideration.

Logan/Jack/Wreck vs D.K./C.D./Ortega vs Lerch/Mob Mentality

The Struggle Within by Metallica plays, and Logan steps out first, followed by Reckless Jack and Wreck.

Shannan Lerch: I hope Jack and Wreck team. I can call them "Wreckless Jack."

Zach Davis: That is stupid and you are stupid.

Logan hears the announce team bickering, and yells "SHUT UP" at them while he makes his way to the ring. The three men roll into the ring and await their opponents.

As the sound of a horse comes across the PA, the lights in the arean go black. As the bass guitar picks up, the lights raise up slightly leaving the arena in a drak grey fog. As the guitar comes in gold pyro and shoots off, followed by the lights returning to normal. Dake Ken walks out from behind the curtain. He stands their waiting for his cue from the lead guitar to walk down the ramp to the ring, before he does, he scans the crowd with his famous smirk that alwayas is on his face. As the lead guitar comes in Dake makes his way down the ramp, peering at fans or scowling at people who don't like him. Dake simply walks up the steps and enters the ring. He goes the the opposite turnbuckle and leans against it, in an arrogant sort of way waiting for his opponet to come out, as "Bad Horsie" continues to play over the PA.

The lights slowly fade to black. Bells toll as the screen shows shots of a big wooden cross wrapped in barbed wire in the middle of a thunderstorm. While the cross is shown ... "Raining Blood" begins to play. The opening, anyways. Giving sound to the storm on the Jumbotron, as that changes from normal rain to blood rain. On each drum hit, the arena lights up red, giving the effect of red lightning. Just before the song kicks in, actual red blood rain cascades down from the heavens, in a wall along the stage. When it kicks into high gear, around the 33 second mark, the lights come on just a tad, giving light to the dark. Standing infront of the wall of blood is Creeping Death, arms stretched out in a crucifix fashion, and the KWA Title around his waist. CD stands there for a second, taking in the crowd's reaction. Then he slowly makes his way down the ramp, looking out into the audience. As he reaches the ring, he slides in under the bottom rope, and pops to his feet. CD walks over to a turnbuckle, jumps to the middle rope facing in the ring, does the crucifix pose once again, and then takes a seat on the top turnbuckle, awaiting the match to begin.

Shannan Lerch: Jesus, these entrances are going to be longer than the match itself.

Zach Davis: If we were on Spike TV, they'd take two commercial breaks.

Shannan Lerch: And Creeping Death has the KWA Title!

The Hand That Feeds hits as Davey Ortega walks out to a chorus of boos. He simply ignores them has be raises his arms, waveing at the crowd. He casual walks down the ramp with a smile and climbs into the ring. When he is in the ring he climbs the turnbuckle and waves again.

Shannan Lerch: That one wasn't so bad!

Master of Puppets plays next, and Seth Lerch, Rick Mad, and Rage step out from the back. They look towards the ring, determined, seeing six other men just as determined as they are.

Zach Davis: Better explain the rules. There are three men in the ring at a time, and you can only tag in someone from your team. Pretty easy to understand.

Rage starts in the ring for his team, Logan for his, and Dake Ken for his. They circle each other, and Rage goes right on the attack, hitting Dake Ken with lefts and rights! Just as Dake is about to start to fight back, Logan joins in, helping Rage. Both men beat Dake down to the mat and start beating on him.

Shannan Lerch: Remember, Logan and Rage are brothers by blood. Not to mention the fact that Logan and Dake aren't the best of friends.

Zach Davis: That isn't good news for Dake.

They pick Dake up and throw him to the ropes, and then catch him with a double Arm Drag. Rage tags in Rick Mad.

Shannan Lerch: Now, Logan and Mad? Not the greatest of friends.

Rick gets in the ring and gets right up in Logan's face. The two talk trash at each other, and are about to come to blows, but Dake is up and tackles Logan down. Dake starts hitting him with multiple punches to the face, but... Rick Mad kicks him in the back and pulls him off. Rick picks Dake up and hits a big Belly to Belly Suplex!

Zach Davis: Mad saved Logan? Zuh?

Logan tags in Jack. Jack hops in the ring, and Dake is crawling towards his corner, looking for a tag. Jack grabs him, pulls him back, and drops a few elbows. Mad stomps at him at the same time.

Shannan Lerch: This is like a handicap match! And I like it.

Mad picks Dake up while Jack climbs to the top rope. Rick positions him for the Death Sentence, and Jack flies off the top rope with a Guillotine Leg Drop! Dake is able to use his strength to sit up, though, sending Jack crashing into the canvas. Mad lets go and Dake hits him with a big Bitch Kick! Dake dives and tags in Ortega.

Zach Davis: Dake needed that tag! Let's see what Ortega can do.

Davey comes in with a head of steam. Jack is up, Ortega Clotheslines him down. But he turns and sees Mad tag in Lerch.

Shannan Lerch: ...Exactly what Davey wanted. Uh oh.

Davey runs at Lerch and Clotheslines him down as well, and then starts punching him mercilessly. Jack tries to pull Ortega off, but Ortega clocks him as well, right in the face. Ortega goes back to kicking Lerch as Jack stumbles away. Jack Dropkicks Ortega this time, sending him into the turnbuckle. He hits his big Moment of Impact, and Davey goes down. Jack then picks Ortega up, and holds him while Seth punches him STRAIGHT IN THE GROIN.

Zach Davis: GOD I hate watching that move.

Ortega yells out in pain, and Seth smiles and pins him confidently. One... two... Ortega kicks out!

Shannan Lerch: Seth shouldn't have been so cocky there. But that's my brother for you.

Seth picks him up, but he starts fighting back, jabbing him in the gut a few times. Davey then DDTs Seth down. Jack goes on the attack, but Ortega catches him and hits a huge T-Bone Suplex! Davey tags in Creeping Death.

Zach Davis: Here comes.. the KWA Champ? Yeah.

Seth looks up and sees Creeping Death in the ring. His eyes widen with fear and he quickly moves to his corner. He tries to tag in Mad, but Mad won't let him. Instead, he tags in Rage, who doesn't look too happy about it either. Rage springboards into the ring, rolls beneath a Creeping Death Clothesline, gets up, jumps onto the ropes and Springboards, Creeping Death catches him and hits a huge Tombstone Piledriver with incredible momentum! C.D. quickly pins, hooking the leg.

One!

Two!

Jack dives to break it up..

Three!

Shannan Lerch: What?!

Zach Davis: Jack wasn't fast enough! That was an incredible Tombstone, and Creeping Death, Dake Ken, and Davey Ortega win!

Soon, everyone from Jack's team and everyone from Lerch's team are in the ring. They go right on the attack, beating Creeping Death down, stomping at him over and over.

Shannan Lerch: Haha! That's what you get, Creeps.

Zach Davis: That's what he gets.. for.. winning?

Shannan Lerch: Exactly.

Dake attempts to get in the ring, but Logan pushes him off the apron, crashing into the guardrail. Logan then climbs out, grabs a chair, and starts beating Dake with it. Lerch does the same to Ortega, also getting a chair and smashing it over his back. In the ring, Reckless Jack has gotten the KWA Title. Logan rolls back in, and instructs Wreck to roll out and keep Dake from interfering. Logan grabs his WCF Title, and Rick Mad holds Creeping Death up. At the same time, Jack and Logan run at him, and both crack him in the head with the Title belts!

Zach Davis: Friggin... ouch.

Logan and Seth Lerch approach each other and hug.

Shannan Lerch: Go team!
