Talk With Tank Segment
D-Day vs Chris Avery vs Ryan Daniels
Logan vs Slickie T
Johnny Reb vs Dake Ken
Mikami vs Torture
Kids by MGMT hits and once again Slam is on the air! The crowd roars and goes crazy, as always, before going to the announcers.
Zach Davis: Welcome to Slam! What a night we have tonight!
Shannan Lerch: That is true, Zach. We have our two Title holders in WCF head to head in the main event!
Zach Davis: That's right, Shannan. The US Champion, Mikami, up against the World Champion, Torture.
Shannan Lerch: No Titles are on the line, but this IS a No DQ match. There WILL be a winner.
Zach Davis: Though you have to wonder, after defeating Corey Black, why did Mikami challenge Torture? What's the deal here?
Shannan Lerch: I doubt Torture even knows himself, though I have a sneaking suspicion we'll find out at Blast...
Zach Davis: And we have another main event calibur match, with Johnny Reb taking on Dake Ken.
Shannan Lerch: These two have quite the rivalry going on. Johnny Reb ended up defeating Dake Ken to get the Title match at Aftermath, but after Reb was unsuccesful in beating Torture, Dake Ken has earned the Title shot at Blast.
Zach Davis: Reb, of course, wanted a rematch, as he only lost after a shot with the GWC Title to his face. Add that to the fact that last week, Johnny Reb beat Torture in a Ladder match for that very Title... I hate to say it, but Reb kinda has a bit of a gripe here.
Shannan Lerch: I don't think so. Reb had his shot, he lost, he should get over it.
Zach Davis: Regardless, you're right, Dake Ken has the Blast match and Reb doesn't. Either way, Reb can get some aggression out in this match, at least.
Shannan Lerch: We've got Logan up against Slickie T. Logan avenging Jack of Blades' loss last week.
Zach Davis: Though Jack didn't really seem too angry about it... yeah, this is Logan's chance to defeat Allen Guiliano. This is going to be a tough match for both men, I do believe.
Shannan Lerch: Guiliano has been granted a US Title match at Blast, and if he gets the win here.... well, I wouldn't want to be Mikami.
Zach Davis: In our opening match, we have a triple threat contest between D-Day, Chris Avery, and Ryan Daniels. That should be a good one.
Shannan Lerch: And we also have a special segment with Tank Reaper. He's starting his own talking segment, Talk With Tank, and his first guest will be none other than Johnny Anthrax.
Zach Davis: Can't wait. This should be good...
Talk With Tank Segment
Fireworks explode on the ramp, and everyone quickly turns their attention to it. Sympathy by Non Divine hits the speakers and the crowd goes nuts. Tank Reaper walks slowly out on the stage putting both arms in the air ala Stone Cold Steve Austin. The crowd again reaches their feet and cheers for their new favorite wrestler. Tank walks down the ramp pointing to his opponent in the ring and then pointing to the crowd for the approval of his fan base. Tank reaches the ring, where he pulls himself up onto the apron, and then steps his seven foot body over the ropes. Flashbulbs light from every which direction for the simple fact that Tank is one hell of an athlete to look at. Tank taunts one more time in the center of the ring for good measure. Fireworks explode off the ring posts and Tank's music stops.
Zach Davis: Just look at that set in the middle of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: For those who don't know, Tank was demanded by his therapist FOR Sex Addiction that it would be therapeutic for him to explain his addiction and try to communicate with other wrestlers.
Zach Davis: There's a small couch, a chair, and a coffee table. Staff members did a great job for this one.
Reaper takes a microphone from the middle of the couch and speaks into it.
Tank Reaper: Thank you very much. Welcome to Talk With Tank. Today's topic will be my sex addiction. Fans put your hands together for Johnny Anthrax!
The crowd kind of boos as the lights flicker on and off and Metallica's Cyanide kick starts the audience into gear. Headbangers begin to bang, drinkers drink, and women start flashing. The vibration of the heavy riffs are gettin' some of the older women off as Anthrax makes his way to the stage with an array of fireworks with his right fist in the air. Anthrax makes his way into the ring and Tank has him sit down on the couch. Reaper takes a seat in the chair.
Tank Reaper: Thank you Johnny.
Johnny Anthrax: Yeah, whatever.
Tank Reaper: Well, first off I have some cards to help me out.
Reaper begins to read off some of the cue cards in his hands to help him stay focused during the segment.
Tank Reaper: Okay. I have a sex addiction, Johnny, and my first question is have you ever had any addictions?
Johnny Anthrax: Addictions are for pussies!
Tank Reaper: Oh you don't say. Speaking of puss... Sigh. I must stay on topic. So no addiction for you Johnny?
Johnny Anthrax: Listen, maybe once or twice I got on the coke back in the 80's but who didn't? But addiction? That's for the weak. Tank, look at you. You're a huge dumbass who believes in that addiction crap. Addiction ain't real homeboy. You can stop whenever you want.
Tank Reaper: Well I disagree my black-wearing friend. I must say that I've had my bouts with my sex addiction and I just can't get enough. Now, I'm slowing down, and soon I will have sex with my lady when the time is appropriate and when the mood is just right. No more floppin' boobies and tight vaginas for me!
Johnny Anthrax: Bro get on with this story man. I'm paid to do this so just hurry it up.
Tank Reaper: Well okay then. I must ask you how your day went.
Johnny Anthrax: Really man? Come on. Get it through your thick head this is some bullshit. Man I don't want to listen to this crap. Get over it. You like breasted women. I'm surprised you don't like men.
Tank Reaper: Well compradre' you better simmer down now I don't like the name calling, and I certainly don't like to see men naked.
Johnny Anthrax: Just shut up!
The crowd starts to boo.
Johnny Anthrax: And you shut up too. I can't believe you guys dig in to this fake crap. Sex addiction? Communication? This sounds like the View! This is women's shit!
Tank Reaper: Hey calm down. I have to tell you about my day now. Please sit.
Anthrax begins to yell and throws down the microphone in anger. Reaper sits back confused as to why Anthrax is yelling at him. Anthrax turns and kicks one of the set pieces out of the ring and then flips the couch over. Tank gets mad. Anthrax turns and slaps him across the face.
Zach Davis: Uh oh. You just woke up the giant.
Shannan Lerch: You don't want to slap Tank in the face. That's like slapping..
Zach Davis: A tank? Yeah.
Reaper throws Anthrax into the corner and begins punches. Tank then picks up Anthrax by the throat with both hands, turns, and slams Anthrax through the table to the crowds delight! Tank grabs a microphone.
Tank Reaper: Don't tell me to shut up! Just because I'm battling an addiction doesn't make me weak! It makes me strong!
Zach Davis: Haha! That's right Tank!
Reaper exits the ring and taunts with the crowd. They cheer and love Tank Reaper. Anthrax gets some help from some of the officials as the WCF staff clean up the set.
Shannan Lerch: What a starting to Monday Night Slam!
D-Day vs Chris Avery vs Ryan Daniels
Dead and Gone by T.I ft Juston Timberlake plays in the speakers. The lights are dim as u see a giant United States flag appear on the screen. The lights flash on to D-Day saluting the flag. The screen says none shall be forgotten in the line of war. As also the screen shows pictures of D-Days brothers and father, as D-Day makes his way to the ring. When D-Day get in the ring he salutes the flag and as soon as he salutes red, white, and blue fireworks burst in the stadium.
"The Haunted" by Walls of Jericho
Voice: Welcome to Hollywood, may all your dreams come true
The suspenceful tone of the intro plays as the violins set the lets to flicker red.
"WE MUST SURVIVE!"
Guitars hits and the crowd is on their feet and pyro rains down on the entrance ramp and Ryan Daniels emerges from the back with a random T-shirt on he stands underneath the pyro, his head bowed as the intro continues to play. After it finishes the pyro stops and Ryan walks down the ramp
This is a wake up call
To all who their eyes
This is our hope,
Hopeless beaten strife
HE stops at the middle and starts to hop up and down, getting himself hyped up and ready for his match.
You kill the messenger not to hear it
It doesn't mean it never happened
It doesn't mean it never happened
He runs up the ring steps and slingshots into the ring. HE runs up the turnbuckles and stop, one foot on the top buckle and the other on the second he points out tot he crowd, mouthing the chorus to the song.
"This is our mission
statement to go show the world
GO SHOW THE WORLD
We must survive"
HE hops off the turnbuckle and removes his shirt as the music starts to fade out.
Zach Davis: And our third participant.
The lights go out and Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf blares through the sound system. The arena goes crazy for their new favorite star in WCF. The fans react with cheers as Avery heads down the ramp and slides into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: D-Day! Daniels and Avery. Three way match coming up next!
The ref rings the bell. Daniels and Day lock up but Avery shoves Daniels off of him and clotheslines Day! Avery turns and gets shoved by Daniels. Daniels begins to mouth some very harsh words for Avery. Day gets back up off the mat and gets double clotheslined by Daniels and Avery! Avery and Daniels begin mouthing words again when Day gets back up off the mat. They go for a double clothesline but Day ducks and hits the ropes. He hits a dropkick on Daniels, and Avery picks up Day for a suplex. Day goes in the air but flips out of the suplex behind Avery and goes for a German suplex of his own. Avery rushes to the ropes in front of him, hangs on, and flips Day off of him. Day does a back roll back up to his feet, and Avery runs at Day but is caught from the side by a stiff clothesline by Daniels.
Zach Davis: Wow!
Avery lays on the mat while Daniels begins to mouth more dirty words to him. Day grabs Daniels from behind and floats over into a DDT. Day pins. Two count. Day picks up Daniels and hits a snap suplex. Avery gets to his feet but is kicked by Day. Day throws Avery to the corner and goes for a huge body splash, but Avery big boots Day right off of him. Day stumbles backwards and Avery rushes towards Day but he hits a quick-power slam! Pin. Daniels breaks up the pin!
Shannan Lerch: This match is picking up now..
Daniels picks up Day and throws him to the corner. Daniels lands a few punches before putting Day up on the top rope. Avery grabs Daniels, turns him around and gives him a kick to the midsection. Day jumps off the middle rope and leaps over Daniels whose bent down and clotheslines Avery. Daniels see's the chance and pins Avery. The count is broken up by Day. Day picks up Daniels and and begins a flurry of kicks.
Zach Davis: Day trying to end the match!
Shannan Lerch: D for Destruction time!
Day goes for a stiff kick between the eyes by Daniels catches the boot and sweeps the leg. Day lands on his side and Daniels elbows behind the knee giving D some pain to think about. Daniels points down and begins trash-talking to Day while Avery catches Daniels from behind and hits a Russian-leg sweep. Avery picks up Daniels and hits a sit-out DDT! Avery grabs the legs of Daniels and locks on his version of the Texas Cloverleaf.
Zach Davis: Locked on in the middle of the ring! Avery might make Daniels tap.
Daniels lifts up his arm to begin to tap when Day kicks Avery in the back of the head, the ribcage, the midsection, the thighs, the back of the head again all in two seconds which causes Avery to drop the submission hold and stumble around. Avery turns around when Day gives a huge stiff kick to the face of Avery which stuns him and he falls to the ring mat and rolls out of the ring. Daniels gets up nursing the leg when Daniels goes for the Dead and Forgotten! Daniels gets out of it though and hits a sidekick to Day which sends him backwards into the corner.. he stumbles out of the corner and Daniels hits the Breaking Point!
Zach Davis: Day is out! Daniels can win!
Avery slides in the ring just in time to break up the two count. Avery picks up Daniels and hits a spinebuster. Avery goes for the submission again but Daniels kicks out of it and shoves Avery off of him, but Day quickly pins.
Avery kicks out, but Daniels rolls Day up just as he got to his feet.
Day kicks up. Daniels gets up but Avery hits a spear on Daniels. Avery gets up and turns around when Daniels hits Dead and Forgotten on Avery! Day gets to his feet to go over to Avery to pin, when Daniels hits the RD Special on Day! Day is out cold when Daniels pins. One! Two!
Shannan Lerch: It's all over!
No! Avery breaks up the count. Daniels gets up slowly as does Avery. Daniels kicks Aver then picks him up and hits Rough Landing! Avery lands face first on the mat then sits on his knees holding his face, when Daniels hits the ropes and goes for a dropkick, however, after he hits the ropes Day picks up Daniels and hits Dead and Forgotten! Avery falls on Daniels after the move, and the pin begins but Day breaks it up!
Zach Davis: Wow! No one can pick up the win here. Everyone is close.
Avery gets picked up by Day and is thrown out of the ring. Day turns around and Daniels clotheslines Day out of the ring. Daniels goes with. The three men get to their feet on the outside, and Day punches Avery while Avery punches Daniels while Day punches Daniels while Daniels punches Avery. It's one vicious cycle. The ref's count is around seven.
Shannan Lerch: Still on the outside..
Zach Davis: Eight!
Avery throws Day to the guardrail and tries to get in the ring but Daniels stops him. Daniels trips Avery.
Zach Davis: Nine!
Day tries to get into the ring but Daniels stops him too. Daniels gets to the apron when Day trips him up.
Zach Davis: Ten! The ref counted them out!
Daniels is pissed! Ryan slaps the apron in anger and rolls inside. Daniels argues with the ref. Day just walks away in disappointment as he heads up the ramp. Avery catches his breath on the outside of the ring. The ref tells Daniels to get the hell out of here just as Daniels shoves the ref down! Daniels goes to the outside in frustrated-anger and clotheslines Avery.
Zach Davis: What the hell?
Daniels picks up Avery and throws him into the steel steps head first! Avery lays near-motionless on the steps as Daniels tells one of the staff members to get off their ass. He takes the steel chair and holds it in the air. Avery gets up off the steps and turns around very slowly. Avery gets a head full of steel chair from Ryan Daniels. Avery is knocked out on the outside of the ring. Daniels slams the chair down on the cement in rage again and trash talks Avery some more. Daniels makes his way out of the arena up the ramp.
Shannan Lerch: Daniels apparently doesn't like Avery.
Zach Davis: Chris Avery just got a face full of chair and steps from Daniels. I'm going to assume there might be more to this story.
Shannan Lerch: Maybe Ryan doesn't like being told he's undeserving.
Zach Davis: Maybe, Lerch, maybe.
Logan and Jack of Blades are in their dressing room.
Logan: Jack, you can have the night off. I'm going to go out there and beat Slickie T by myself.
Jack nods and leaves, and Logan is about to leave also... until the room's lights go out.
Shannan Lerch: Uh oh.
The lights are out for a long period of time. They're not coming back on. Several sounds are heard, and about thirty seconds later, they come back on...
Logan: What the fu-
The words "never forget never forgive" are written on the walls. Everywhere on the walls, repeatedly, in blood red color.
Logan: I don't have time for this shit!
Logan leaves the dressing room and the scene fades out.
Logan vs Slickie T
Zach Davis: And now, Logan up against Slickie T, Allen Guiliano.
Shannan Lerch: Highly anticipated match. Slickie T managed to defeat Jack of Blades last week... quite an upset.
Zach Davis: But you have to wonder... if it isn't Gravedigger who is stalking Logan, who is it?
Shannan Lerch: It isn't me!
The arena fades to black as a red, white, and green spotlights begin to circle the crowd and a red glow appears on the left side of the stage, a white glow in the middle, and a green glow on the right, as “Gravesend (Lake of Fire)” by Lordz of Brooklyn begins to blast over the speakers and the three lights come together in the center of the stage where Slickie T stands with his back turned to the crowd, his arms extended to form the shape of a “T”. He watches as the screen shows a roulette wheel spinning as the pill comes to settle on the green 00 space and the camera zooms in on the pill until the screen becomes completely white and then “Slickie T the Ace of Hardcore” scrolls across the screen in black in front of a waving Italian flag. Slickie then quickly turns as the pill settles in the 00 space and red, white, and green pyros explode behind him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with those who are reaching out to him. As he reaches the ring, he quickly climbs the ring stairs, looking out over the crowd before grabbing the top rope and vaulting over the top of it and into the middle of the ring. After glancing over the crowd with a thin smile on his face, he climbs a turnbuckle and throws his arms out once again to form a “T” before backflipping off the top turnbuckle and back into the middle of the ring as the lights come up once again.
Zach Davis: And now, Logan.
Say Anything's Chia-Like, I Shall Grow hits.... and no one comes out.
Shannan Lerch: Hm?
Zach Davis: Is Logan here?
The music fades out. Slickie T looks around, unhappy. The crowd boos.
Then, finally, a drum beat rolls, it rolls, it rolls, it beats and echoes dying to make the fans ears bleed. Say Anything "Chia-Like, I Shall Grow" BLASTS the speakers. The crowd explode cheering the bastard they love to hate, the Face of Treachery, Logan.
Shannan Lerch: Logan IS here!
He pops out from behind the black curtains marching down the ramp threatening to slap fans on his way, climbing up the ring steps, hopping into the ring, spitting glomps of salvia out into the crowd
Zach Davis: Glomps of salvia?
Shannan Lerch: I think that is supposed to be "saliva," Zach.
Logan climbs the turnbuckle slapping his chest, taunting the crowd, talking generic shit. He then hops off and paces around the ring till his music cuts.
Zach Davis: Let's get this party started!
Logan and Slickie T pace, putting their hands up, ready to get a feel for each other. Slickie T goes to grapple, but Logan rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos.
Shannan Lerch: Oh, Logan. Very smart.
Zach Davis: Or cowardly.
Slickie T slides out after Logan, running after him, but Logan runs away. Eventually Logan slides back into the ring and Slickie T slides back in after him. Logan is now ready to kick Slickie T as Slickie is ready to stand up, but Logan's kicks keep him down.
Shannan Lerch: He's so smart.
Zach Davis: Ugh.
Logan kicks at Slickie T, but eventually T works his way back up. T hits Logan with several shots to the head, and Logan is backpeddling. Logan hits the ropes, but Slickie T stays on the attack. He hits Logan in the gut a few times and then executes a picture perfect Snap Suplex. He then floats over for the pin.
Logan gets his shoulder up.
Shannan Lerch: Yay!
Slickie T goes to pick Logan up, but Logan notices the ref isn't paying close attention for whatever reason. Logan hits a low blow, which Slickie T sells like crazy. Logan gets up and goes to kick Slickie T but Guiliano catches the leg and then executes a quick enziguri kick! Logan's face goes blank for a moment before falling to the mat, and Slickie T goes for another pin.
No! Logan kicks out again.
Shannan Lerch: Can't keep Logan down!
Zach Davis: But you sure can!
Again, Slickie T picks Logan up. He hits a Russian Legsweep, taking him right back down. In a fluid motion, Slickie T turns Logan over and has him in a Boston Crab.
Shannan Lerch: Ha. What a crappy move.
Logan squirms toward the ropes... but can't quite make it. The crowd is chanting, "Tap! Tap! Tap!," but Logan refuses. And eventually he does manage to grab the ropes, and the ref forces Guiliano to release the hold, which he does. Logan clutches his leg. Guiliano then charges him, but Logan trips him down... grabs his legs.. and puts him in a Boston Crab!
Shannan Lerch: What an awesome move!
Zach Davis: UGH.
But Slickie T quickly reaches the turnbuckle also. The ref tells Logan to release the hold, which Logan only does right at the last second. Logan picks Slickie T up, but Slickie T hits several shots to Logan, fighting back. Logan hits him with several shots of his own, then Slickie T ducks a Clothesline... grabs Logan.. and hits the T-Bone!
Shannan Lerch: WHAT
Zach Davis: Out of nowhere!
Guiliano drops and pins Logan, hooking the leg.
Shannan Lerch: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Zach Davis: Allen Guiliano has defeated both members of the ToT!
Guiliano stands, raising his arms in victory.
Shannan Lerch: Ughhh..
Zach Davis: Now all he needs to do is defeat Mikami at Blast, and he's the US Champion.
Guiliano leaves, leaving Logan defeated in the ring.
Seth Lerch is sitting at his desk, with Mikami seated on the other side. Hank Brown is standing off to the side, holding a microphone between them.
Seth Lerch: Alright, you told me you would have some answers for me. I gave you your match. So let's have them.
Mikami says nothing.
Seth Lerch: I thought we had a deal.
Mikami: You have not asked me any questions yet.
Seth Lerch: Fine. Who's pulling your strings?
Mikami: I do not know. I have never seen his face.
Seth Lerch: Never seen his...how can you trust someone whose face you haven't seen?!
Mikami: Call it faith.
Seth Lerch: Of all the stupid...OK, just tell me how he did what he did. The contract, the messing with the lights, that stupid robot voice you were using.
Mikami: As I understand it, in American wrestling, everyone gets to mess with the lights.
Lerch does not look amused.
Mikami: When Gravedigger took over, what did you do? What did the wrestlers here do? Mutiny. They all followed you to fight Gravedigger. The people in the back, the ones you do not see on camera, they did the same thing. Only they did not follow you. They followed someone who possessed greater leadership ability. More charisma. More respect.
Seth Lerch: Who?
Mikami: I told you, I do not know.
Seth Lerch: Don't give me that. You have to know something. Tell me who this guy is, and we can protect you from him.
Mikami: And why would you want to do that?
Seth Lerch: You know I don't like you. I don't like what you've done here. But you're still an employee. My employee. And I'm not going to let some...faceless coward harm one of my employees!
Mikami looks at his watch.
Mikami: I am sorry, but I have a match for which I have to prepare. I will come back next week.
Seth Lerch: Hey, wait!
Mikami gets up and walks out of the room.
Hank Brown: Did you really mean all that, about protecting all of your employees?
Seth Lerch: Nope.
Johnny Reb vs Dake Ken
The opening chords of "Bad Company" by Bad Company filter through the arena. The stage and the surrounding area go dark. As the actual lyrics begin, blue lights illuminate a pair of figures: Johnny Reb and Dixie Pride.
They make their way to the ring amid a mixed reaction, Dixie carrying Johnny’s newly won GWC belt and raising it overhead. Johnny gets into the ring first and holds the ropes for her. Dixie hands off the belt to Johnny, who immediately climbs onto a turnbuckle and lifts it up for the whole crowd to see.
Shannan Lerch: This promises to be an exciting match, folks. Johnny Reb believes he has more right to a world title shot than his opponent tonight, and feels that defeating Dake Ken will back up his claim.
Zach Davis: Dake Ken has yet to gain a victory over Johnny Reb, so Reb might have a point there.
"Bow Down" by Born of Osiris hits on the PA system. The lights dim down as the guitars and drums hit as spot lights focus on the curtain. Dake pops out from behind the curtain with both arms raised. He pauses for a moment and looks around the arena, soaking in the fan reaction, before lowering his arms and starting down the ramp. He slaps a few fans' hands as he makes his way to the ring. He walks over to the steps and quickly walks up them. He plays to the crowd a bit before stepping into the ring and making his way to the far turnbuckle. He hops up onto the second rope and poses to the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: Dake proved himself in a four-way contendership match last week, while Reb overcame Torture in a ladder match. It’s anybody’s guess which of these two competitors is going to come out on top tonight.
The bell rings, and Dixie slips through the ropes at the referee’s command. Dake Ken and Johnny Reb meet in the middle of the ring. Ken makes a grab for Reb, who ducks out of his reach and delivers a stiff right to the jaw of Dake Ken. Ken shakes it off and applies a front facelock.
Zach Davis: And Dake Ken takes an early lead in this match with a DDT!
In the ring, Reb starts to recover, crawling slowly toward the ropes. Ken starts laying boots to his ribs.
Shannan Lerch: Looks like Dake hasn’t forgotten last week’s unprovoked attack.
Johnny lies flat on his back now, holding his ribs, and Dake takes advantage with an Indian deathlock. Reb’s face is contorted in pain as he tries to struggle out of it.
Zach Davis: Good strategy for Dake Ken, keeping Reb off the ropes and working his legs.
Shannan Lerch: Yeah, but if the Inveterate Confederate has one thing in his favor, it’s his resiliency.
Indeed, Reb is already straining for the ropes, trying to break Ken’s hold. Dake Ken’s size advantage is keeping Johnny Reb right where he is. But he refuses to tap out. Dixie paces outside the ring, urging Johnny to greater efforts. Finally, he grabs hold of the bottom rope, forcing Dake to let go.
Reb slides under the rope to the outside, trying to get himself some breathing room, but Dake Ken is after him in an instant. He grabs Johnny’s arm, but Reb whips him into the guardrail, to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Johnny Reb looks to follow up, but Dake Ken shoves him back toward the ring. Reb climbs back into the ring, and Ken is right behind him.
Both men trading punches now, as Dixie shouts encouragement to Johnny from the ring apron.
Zach Davis: And Johnny Reb looking to create some distance here with a forearm smash!
Dake Ken staggers back, showing signs of tiring for the first time. Johnny backs up toward the ropes and hits a springboard bulldog, taking Dake Ken to the mat. He follows up with a Southern Cross.
Shannan Lerch: Looks like Reb’s getting a little payback for that Indian deathlock earlier.
Zach Davis: But not for long, Shannan. Dake Ken’s got a weight advantage here, and he’s putting it to good use as he pulls free from that cross kneelock.
Reb is already going for the ropes again. Ken takes hold of Johnny and puts him in a fireman’s carry, but Reb struggles out of it, coming down behind his opponent. Johnny tries to lift Dake; Ken grabs the ropes for added leverage and keeps his feet on the mat. Reb with an elbow strike that stuns Ken. Johnny leapfrogs over Dake onto the turnbuckle, turns, and dives from the top, catching him with a waistlock and letting his momentum carry them both to the mat.
Shannan Lerch: Sunset flip! There’s the cover!
1 . . .
2 . . .
Zach Davis: Not yet! Dake Ken kicks out and he’s already back on his feet, looking pissed.
Shannan Lerch: Reb is already back on the ropes again. Dake Ken catches him in midair and slams him to the mat! He covers…
1 . . .
2 . . .
Reb gets his shoulder up at the last possible second. Frustrated, Ken pushes him back down to the mat to try again, but Johnny Reb shoves him away and rolls to his feet. Both men charge each other, colliding with a resonating impact in the middle of the ring.
Zach Davis: Oh! That can’t be good. Dake Ken and Johnny Reb are both down. This match could be over without a decisive winner.
The ref checks each combatant for signs of consciousness, then starts the count.
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 . . .
Dake Ken starts to stir.
4 . . .
Johnny Reb squints up at the lights.
5 . . .
Ken sits up as Reb gets to one knee. The referee backs off. Johnny is on his feet first, pulling Dake up. Reb whips Ken into the ropes, preparing to nail him with a clothesline on the rebound. Dake Ken catches hold of the top rope and stops himself. He grins and beckons to Johnny, who can’t seem to resist the challenge. Reb rushes toward Ken. Ken ducks, pulling the top rope down and sending Johnny to the outside.
With catlike reflexes, Reb rights himself and lands on his feet. He grabs Dake’s ankle and drags him under the ropes. Taking hold of his opponent’s head and shoulder, Johnny runs him toward the ringpost. Dake puts his hands out and catches himself, resisting Reb’s efforts. He reaches back, catching Johnny’s arm, and shoves Reb into the ringpost instead!
Dake Ken rolls Johnny Reb back into the ring. He moves to follow, but Dixie gets in his way, yelling at him and gesturing emphatically. Dake turns to face her, shaking his head and pointing toward the ramp, clearly telling her to leave the area. Johnny, meanwhile, is taking a run across the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Ohmigawd! Watch out, Dake!
Reb connects with a baseball slide, dropping Ken onto the ringside mats.
Zach Davis: And that’s exactly why you should never turn your back on the Inveterate Confederate.
There is a brief argument between Johnny, Dixie, and the referee. The ref orders Dixie to leave, and she complies reluctantly. Dake Ken is back on his feet again. Johnny gives Dake room to get back in the ring, grinning at him maliciously.
Looking to put an end to the match as quickly as possible, Dake Ken whips Johnny Reb into the corner, then takes a run at him.
Shannan Lerch: Here it comes! Dake Ken’s patented Bitch Kick!
Zach Davis: And it connects! Johnny Reb may be out cold!
But Dake Ken isn’t finished yet. He pulls Reb to his feet and moves him away from the corner, then starts to lift him up. The crowd knows what’s coming, cheering insanely.
Shannan Lerch: Uranage Slam! Dake Ken has put a decisive end to this match! Here’s the cover…
1 . . .
2 . . .
3 ! ! !
The crowd pops even louder than before as Dake Ken climbs back to his feet and the ref raises his arm.
Zach Davis: Dake Ken proves once again just why he’s the number one contender!
Mikami vs Torture
No Disqualification Match
Zach Davis: I'm so excited for this match. Mikami up against Torture.
Shannan Lerch: No DQ, no Title on the line.... Mikami just wanted this match and the chance to beat Torture.
The lights go out and Mikami's double-M logo appears on the JumboTron as "The Beast" by Tech N9ne plays, starting at the first chorus. The lights turn back on but are now red, revealing Mikami standing at the top of the ramp. He runs down the ramp, dives into the ring and then jumps back up to his feet.
Zach Davis: The most mysterious wrestler in the WCF, Mikami.
Shannan Lerch: Mikami seems really mad lately.
Jamais Vu from Dredg hits the speakers, and the crowd begins to boo. Some hardcore Torture fans cheer. Fireworks go off on the stage as the lights go to black and smoke fills the top of the rampway. Torture steps out from the curtain and stands in the middle of the stage. The smoke clears 20 seconds in, and the crowd boo's even harder. The hardcore fans keep cheering. More boos than most though. Torture walks down the ramp smiling yet focused and intent on beating his opponent. He slides into the ring walks to one of the ring posts and taunts to the crowd. He throws one hand into the air, and his other hand points to his waist as if he's always wearing Championship Gold. He backs down off of the ring post and the lights slowly come back on.
Zach Davis: And here's the Champ.
The bell rings and the two men circle one another. They're both very cautious of one another, but eventually they tie up. Torture forces Mikami into the corner, and pretends to give him a clean break but instead slaps him in the face. Mikami was also thinking dirty and as Tort was backing away, hit Tort with a kick to the gut, so both men's shots connect simultaneously. After these blows they then meet, each hitting several more shots to each other's heads!
Shannan Lerch: These two men really don't like each other, Zach.
Mikami eventually manages to take control of the situation, and is hitting several martial arts kicks to Torture's legs. He then hits a kick to Torture's gut, causing Torture to double over, and Mikami DDTs him to the mat! Mikami quickly goes for the pin.
Zach Davis: Kickout! Can't beat Torture that way, but you do make him spend his energy.
Mikami then runs to the ropes and executes a Lionsault! This results in another pin.
And again Torture kicks out. Mikami again runs to the ropes and slides under them onto the apron. He stands up, as Torture is getting to his feet as well. Torture turns around, Mikami jumps and hits a Springboard Cross Bodyblock into another pin!
Again, Torture kicks out. Mikami jumps to the top rope, then quickly flies off and executes a Frog Splash onto the World Champ into another pin!
Shannan Lerch: Nearfall city!
Zach Davis: Again, I'd like to make it clear that Mikami does not expect to beat Torture with these pinfall attempts. He's just trying to get Tort to wear himself out... and also, all these near losses can't be good for Torture's psyche, either.
Mikami stands and starts stomping at Torture, done with his pinfall strategy. Torture starts to roll away and rolls out of the ring. Mikami runs at him and goes for a Suicide Dive, but Torture moves out of the way, sending Mikami crashing into the guardrail!
Shannan Lerch: This is Torture's chance to get back into this match!
Torture takes this time to shake off the cobwebs and regain his senses. He turns back to Mikami and kicks him as Mikami is starting to stand before throwing him hard into the ring steps. Mikami crashes and falls, clutching his back. Torture then picks him up and executes a Front Vertical Suplex onto the guardrail, so Mikami's stomach lands on the rail. Torture climbs up onto the apron and jumps off, hitting an Axe Handle Smash onto Mikami's back, bringing Mikami back into the arena and out of the fan seating area. Torture then turns towards the announce table.
Zach Davis: Oh, damnit.
Torture starts throwing away all of the monitors and whatever. Zach and Shannan quickly get up and move away. Tort then grabs Mikami and takes him over to the table.
Shannan Lerch: Ugh, I don't want to announce standing up!
Torture throws Mikami onto it, then punches Mikami a few times in the face before climbing back onto the apron and then onto the top rope...
Zach Davis: Uh oh.
Torture flies off and connects with the ICE COLD FROG SPLASH! The announce table crashes, both men going through it but Mikami obviously taking most of the force. The crowd chants "Holy shit!" naturally.
Shannan Lerch: This has taken a lot out of both men!
Zach Davis: This has been a very physical matchup thus far.
Torture eventually gets to his feet and rolls Mikami's limp body into the ring. He then pins Mikami, hooking the leg.
Torture puts his foot on the ropes, adding leverage.
Shannan Lerch: Mikami kicks out!
Indeed, Mikami kicked out! Torture doesn't believe it. He picks Mikami up, but Mikami knows he needs to act fast. He grabs Torture out of nowhere and hits a Diamond Cutter!
Zach Davis: Bang!~!~!
Mikami falls onto Torture, pinning him!
Shannan Lerch: Torture kicks out!
Zach Davis: Torture was almost pinned there!
Mikami stands up, slowly, and kicks Torture a few more times. He climbs to the top rope... signalling for the Hammer of Justice.
Shannan Lerch: He's going to end this!
Mikami flies off the top rope.... but Torture rolls away at the nick of time!! Mikami stands up, dazed, and Torture is to his feet... and hits the Torture's Device!! Torture falls onto Mikami, once again pinning him.
Zach Davis: Torture gets the win!
Torture's music hits and he stands up, triumphant. He grabs the World Title and raises it in the air before rolling out and heading to the back.
Shannan Lerch: Good effort by both men tonight.. though Mikami wasn't able to get the job done.
Zach Davis: What does this mean for Blast and the arrival of S.K.?
Shannan Lerch: I guess we'll find out at Blast, idiot!
The cameras cut to the parking lot where Logan is seen walking across it towards his car. He passes by a truck where a man is seated on the back of the bed, his feet dangling off the end. Logan is too busy to notice who it is as he digs around in his pockets for his keys. The camera zooms in to see the man is Gravedigger. He's dressed in blue jeans and a black muscle shirt. His black and white hair is hanging over his face. Gravedigger slides off the end and snaps his head back, flipping his hair behind his head. He has his usual black and white face paint on. He clears his throat and Logan jumps, turning quickly.
Logan: Whoa, whoa, hey there Digger. What's going on, guy?
Gravedigger turns his head slightly and smiles, saying nothing. Logan starts backing up some.
Logan: Hey, man, you got me and Jack of Blades back at Aftermath. You planted me on my head at the pay-per-view, we're even for what happened with Chester and Dobbie, besides that was just busi--
Logan gets interrupted as a car comes flying through the parking lot. It's Gravedigger's Firebird, with Jessie at the wheel. Logan barely gets out of the way as the car comes flying up beside him. He gets off balance and turns around as Gravedigger launches at him and drives him to the ground with a spear. Logan holds on and the two start tumbling through the parking lot trading rights and lefts, rolling around. Logan gets on top of Gravedigger and starts hitting the Epitome of Hardcore with a few rights.
Jessie gets out of the car and grabs Logan by his hair. Logan shoves her away and into Gravedigger's car. This pisses Gravedigger off and he swings a leg around and catches Logan on the temple, knocking him to the ground. Gravedigger gets up and grabs Logan. He picks him up and bodyslams him onto the bed of the truck, causing him to yell out in pain. Gravedigger goes to climb up onto the bed but Logan gives him a thumb to the eye. Logan leaps off and hits Gravedigger with an elbow smash, knocking him to the ground. Logan goes to get on Gravedigger, but he's too quick for him and nails him with a low blow. Gravedigger yells something at Jessie and she gets back in the car, and backs it up.
Gravedigger grabs Logan and hits a few quick shots to the head. Gravedigger leads Logan over to Logan's car and slams his head onto the hood of the car a couple of times. Logan tries to talk Gravedigger into leaving him alone, but Gravedigger is too pissed off to listen. He grabs Logan by the head and the belt and runs in a circle with him away from the car but turns him back towards it and launches him headfirst into the driver side window, shattering it and leaving Logan hanging in through the window.
Gravedigger walks over and picks up Logan's keys from the ground and unlocks the passenger side door. Gravedigger reaches in and sweeps out some of the glass and sits down in the seat. He puts the keys in the ignition but doesn't turn on the car. He looks out of the car and looks over at Logan grinning.
Gravedigger: Yeah, see, this is what you get for messing with my family. You got your nose in my business as owner and after that was said and done, you couldn't just leave things alone. You had to continue to put your nose where it doesn't belong. Tell Jackie that he's next. I will continue to hurt you two until I'm satisfied. Oh and just in case you were curious how long that will take, I'll let you in on a little secret.
Gravedigger leans over and whispers to Logan.
Gravedigger: I'm not easy to please.
Gravedigger reaches over and grabs Logan's head and smashes it into the car door one last time before getting out of the car. He walks over and gets into the passenger seat of his Firebird. "Lunatic" by Static-X is playing on the car stereo as Jessie puts the car into Drive and pulls away. The camera zooms in on Logan as paramedics and security come running out of the building. The show fades to black.
