World Title: Gravedigger vs Johnny Reb

Slam Intro

Kids by MGMT hits! The fans cheer loudly, louder than ever before. Pyro blasts. We're live from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and we're coming off of one of WCF's best PPVs to date! We go to the announcers.

Kyle Steel: I'm Kyle Steel, here with Shannan Lerch.

Shannan Lerch: That's right, Kyle! We have lots of huge matches tonight, coming off Ultimate Showdown. We have a new World Champion, Johnny Reb. We have a Television Title tournament beginning tonight. And we have Torture up against Rick Mad and Mikami!

Kyle Steel: That's right. The WCF Championship Series continues, as Johnny Reb takes on Gravedigger. What a match to continue the Series!

Shannan Lerch: You said it, Kyle. This is PPV quality right here.. Gravedigger has been trying to get a World Title shot forever, and now he has it. One on one. No tricks, no nothing. Just him against the Champion.

Kyle Steel: And you know what, Shannan Lerch:

Jamais Vu hits the airwaves, and the crowd dives head first into a loud orchestrated reaction that the northern hemisphere titled "boos".

Shannan Lerch: Ugh! Looks like we're getting interrupted?!

Kyle Steel: What the hell is this!?

Torture Segment

The boos are louder than ever and as the song continues to play for a few minutes, out comes two figures. First one is Torture who steps out in his regular wrestling attire and then coming up right behind him is Death. The two stop and stare out at the crowd with no real movements. Death and Torture then walk down the ramp and glare at the crowd who are very much so in love with throwing vulgar sayings, and homosexual cliche's at the two. Death jumps on the apron and stands in the ring. Torture walks up the steps and walks through the ropes. The two stand in the middle of the ring as the music stops. The lights come on, and the crowd boo's even harder. Not letting either men off the hook.

Kyle Steel: Wow. Torture is hated more than ever. Especially by me, right now.

Shannan Lerch: Serves him right!

Kyle Steel: Death has the microphone!

Death: Last week, Torture was forced to fight a weak man by the name of Rick Mad.

Crowd boo's.

Death: Last week Torture defeated Rick Mad and because of that win, we ask that Seth Lerch come to this ring right now. Come on Seth!

Crowd is intrigued. A few seconds roll by before Master of Puppets by Metallica hits the speakers and the crowd pops. Seth doesn't just walk down, he speed walks, because he's wondering what the hell is going on, and he understands this may be serious business. Seth gets in the ring and a staff member hurries to give him a microphone. Torture takes the microphone from Death gently, and puts the microphone to his mouth. Seth asks whats going on. Torture replies.

Torture: Give it back.

Seth Lerch: What? Give what back?

Torture: Give me back MY.. World Heavyweight Championship title.

A chorus of boo's is heard as Seth Lerch smiles like it's a joke.

Seth Lerch: Are you joking-

Death grabs Seth by the shirt and pulls him in close. Torture replies.

Torture: Does it look.. like I'm joking?

Seth Lerch: First of all let go of me, you don't want to do that, and second of all, I'm not giving back THE World Title. THE World Championship that belongs to Johnny Reb.

Fans begin to cheer for Reb as their Champion. Death lets go of Seth and glares at the crowd in the front row. Torture ignores the crowd and looks right back at Seth.

Torture: Seth, listen. I never lost my World Championship title, and as I see it, I never got a rematch, and as I see it Seth.. I deserve to have MY World Heavyweight Championship around my waist.. right now.

Chorus of boos.

Seth Lerch: That's not going to happen. It's not going to happen ever Torture! You have to start from the bottom! I went through your contract several times with plenty of lawyers, the reason you didn't have a rematch clause was because you never asked for one! That's right, if I remember correctly, YOU told me you would NEVER lose the Championship so YOU would never NEED a rematch! You remember that Torture!? Huh?

The crowd begins to cheer as Torture lowers his head in frustration. His eyes wonder to the ceiling before lifting his head back to Seth.

Torture: Seth. I demand a number One Contender match for my World Title.

Seth Lerch: Torture, just stop it. You can't demand matches, and I've been pretty sick and tired of your shtick. You've injured announcers, put wrestlers on shelves, cost me potential money, and it's all your god damn fault! As far as I see it, I don't see Torture getting a World Title Match for quite some time!

Torture: I didn't want to do this Seth, but you've forced my hand. Roll the tape.

Seth looks at the WCFTron as does the crowd. Wondering what the hell is going on. A tape plays.

Text: Date: April 26th, 2009 - Dake, Black, Logan and Torture are a team to save WCF. Seth stops by.

Torture: Torture: But Seth, listen. Listen to me. If anyone on this team so much as double crosses me, looks at me the wrong way, there will be hell to pay. Logan, Dake Ken, Corey Black, anyone. And Seth, after this is all over? You owe me.

Seth and Torture look each other in the eye for a moment before Seth and Corey leave.

Seth Lerch: Alright, I've gotta get ready for my match. I'll meet up with you later.

The crowd responds. Seth looks down at the ring in despair. Torture gets in Seth's face.

Torture: And do you know what we discussed later that night, Seth? We discussed how you owed me a favor for doing something so disgusting for you. Saving Wrestling Championship Federation? Come on Seth. We should be saving WCF.. from you.

Crowd boos. Seth starts to talk in a disappointing tone.

Seth Lerch: Alright listen. Tonight you're in a handicap match, and it's a handicap match because you've done pissed me off for the last time!

Crowd cheers. Seth's tone picks up more excitement.

Seth Lerch: Tonight, however, your handicap match tonight will be a Number One Contenders match, and trust me Torture. This will be the last favor I ever and I mean EEEVVEERRRR give to you. If you pin Mikami, or if you pin Rick Mad, you will have one World Heavyweight Championship match against the Champion at Revenge. You'll be the last man in the WCF Championship Series. I can not promise anything after that, and that is if YOU win tonight.

Crowd boo's at the fact Torture get's what he wants.

Seth Lerch: Oh, and one other thing.

Torture and Death go from sadistic smiles to intrigue.

Seth Lerch: If Death enters this ring tonight, not only will you automatically be disqualified, but You and Death.. will NEVER have a World Championship title match in this company AGAIN! Now good luck Torture.

Seth exits the ring as quickly as possible and Master of Puppets hit the airwaves to the crowds approval. Death leans against the ropes and points at Seth beginning some sort of trash talk. Torture just stands in the ring and stares a hole through Seth with his head tweaked downward. We cut to the announcers.

Kyle Steel: Huge match tonight! What a shocking announcement!

Shannan Lerch: And what a shocking way that my brother turned Torture's vicious personal vendetta around back on it's ear. Torture does have a match later tonight against Mikami AND Rick Mad, but now it's a Number One Contenders match but if Torture doesn't win he may never see the World Title ever again!

Kyle Steel: Exactly right Shannan. Though, not a Number One Contenders match for Mikami or Mad, but I'm sure Seth would give them plenty of bonuses if they could take care of Torture tonight if you know what I mean.

Shannan Lerch: My brother is one tough cookie, and if you think Mad and Mikami aren't bringing their A game tonight, you might as well be blind and dumb.

Kyle Steel: We also got some conclusion on Death, Shannan. Looks as if he's going to stay for a while.

Shannan Lerch: Yup. Torture certainly thinks he has everything planned out.

Chris Avery/Captain Jack Dancer vs The Breathtakers

Hysteria by Muse hits.

Kyle Steel: Hm? I'm expecting either Avery and Dancer or the Breathtakers, but that music doesn't belong to either of them.

Out from the back step two men.

Shannan Lerch: Oh, lordy.

The first is a man who is dressed in a fancy, old fashioned suit and tie and is wearing dark sunglasses. It doesn’t take long for the fans to recognize this man as Mark. The second man is in a pink suit, very flashy, and has a yellow feather boa around his neck in addition to matching sunglasses and a fake goatee. This man is recognized as Marc by the fans. They both carry their tag team championships.

Kyle Steel: They look just like Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse "The Body" Ventura!

The Superfans head to the announce table. Kyle and Shannan shrug to each other and hand over the headsets to the Tag Team Champions.

Mark: Well, Marcus “The Body” Ventura, it is great to be back in an announcing booth! It’s so great of you to take time off of your political career to be here with us tonight.

Marc: Well you know, Monsoon, WCF had to pay me the big bucks to do this. Let's get this match underway!

The lights go out and Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf blares through the sound system. The crowd goes crazy as Avery walks out on stage from behind the curtain. Avery flips back his hood on his black sweatshirt and smiles at the crowd. They cheer louder. Avery slaps five with some fans and slides in to the ring.

Mark: Here is Chris Avery, a fantastic in-ring competitor.

PA: Yeeeerrrr!

A pirateish howl fills the arena, "Poker Face" plays. Jack Dancer and Lucy prance to the top of the stage, hands gripped on the handles of the swords pushed into their side hostlers. Ready for battle they prance more down the ramp, sliding into the ring, relinquishing their plastic weapons to officials.

Marc: What is the DEAL with this guy, Monsoon? Dressing like a pirate? He looks foolish!

Mark: He looks almost as silly as you. Just give him a pick boa and some dangling earrings and he’ll be all set!

Marc: HEY! Watch it Monsoon.

"Taking It To The Top", a catchy, upbeat rock number by Silver Ice hits and Chris and Brandon appears on the ramp, accompanied by Wendy. They strike a pose for a few seconds - the Breathtakers down on one knee pointing towards the ring, his sister/manager standing behind them, hands on their shoulders,- and run to the ring, exchanging high fives with the fans on the way. They slide under the bottom rope and Brandon and Chris mount the turnbuckle pointing into the crowd and crossing their hands in front of them in a Lightning X-press taunt, while Wendy leads the applause.

Mark: And here are the Breathtakers, a relatively new Tag Team here in WCF.

Marc: They may be good, but there is no way they'll take the belts off the waists of the Superfans, that's for sure!

Mark: Oh will you stop it?

The bell rings. Chris Hadge and Jack Dancer start the match. Jack's "partner," Lucy, is of course at ringside. She barks at Chris Hadge.

Marc: Will someone please shut that dog up! That darn thing is giving me a headache.

Hadge and Dancer tie up. Dancer gets the advantage, putting Hadge into a Headlock. Dancer has the move locked in tight, but Hadge uses his power to Suplex Dancer up! Dancer hits the mat hard.

Mark: Looks like Dancer hit his external occipital protuberance there! Ouch!

Dancer holds his head as Hadge picks him up and then hits a European Uppercut. Dancer staggers back and Hadge then grabs him and goes for a German Suplex. Dancer lands on his feet, however, and grapples Hadge from behind. He hits a German Suplex of his own!

Marc: Ouch, guess the pirate has some moves after all!

Mark: Its times like these I'm glad I retired from in ring competition. Ouch is right!

Dancer then tags in Avery. Avery comes in and quickly picks Hadge up, hitting a Snap Suplex. He picks him up again and whips him into the corner. He runs at him and goes for a Stinger Splash, but Hadge moves out of the way at the nick of time! Hadge hits Avery with a Jumping Calf Kick before tagging in Phlash. Phlash gets into the ring and goes to Avery who is resting in the corner. He hits a knife edged chop, and the crowd WHOOO's! Another chop, another WHOOO! Avery stumbles out of the corner and Phlash hits a Superkick! The crowd pops!

Mark: The fans just literally blew the roof off the arena!

Marc: Well who cares what the fans think anyway? We'll just see if Phlash can get a win out of the move!

And Phlash has Avery pinned.

Avery kicks out.

Mark: Well, it doesn't happen often but you were right.

Marc: You never listen to me, Monsoon. It’s one of your flaws. I still don’t understand why you didn’t listen to Heenan, either.

Mark: Oh would you stop it!?

Phlash picks Avery up but Avery pushes him away. Phlash, angrily, moves quickly back towards Avery. But Avery catches him with a quick kick to the gut and hits a Sitout DDT! He pins Phlash!

No! Another kickout.

Mark: Chris Avery just almost won the winner's purse for himself and Jack Dancer.

Avery tags Dancer back into the match. Dancer comes in and starts kicking at Phlash. He then climbs to the top rope.

Marc: Jack Dancer is going for a high risk maneuver, this could cost him!

Dancer flies off with a Shooting Star Press, which he calls the Matey Drop, but Phlash rolls out of the way at the last moment!

Marc: See? What'd I tell ya?

Mark: Yeah, yeah, we get it. Nows the time to say “I told you so.”

Marc: Would I do that?

Mark: Yes.

Marc: I’m offended!

Phlash lunges and tags Hadge back into the match. Dancer is up but Hadge has a head of steam; he Clotheslines Dancer down, Dancer gets back up, goes back down, Dancer gets back up and Hadge Clotheslines him down again! Dancer gets back up one more time and Hadge hits a Missile Dropkick. This sends Dancer flying into a corner. Hadge motions for Phlash to get back into the ring, which he does. Hadge backs into the corner opposite Dancer, with Phlash in the middle, facing Hadge. Hadge runs, Phlash uses his hands to help Hadge Springboard over him, and Hadge hits a Splash on Dancer!

Mark: That's the Lightning X-Press, what a beauty!

Hadge pins Dancer.

Phlash stops Avery from interfering.

Marc: The Breathtakers get the win!

Mark: And what a great match.

Marc: Not as great as a Superfans match, mind you, but not bad! It’ll be interesting to see if either of these teams can go the distance, and if either of them will face The Superfans!

The ref raises the arms of the Breathtakers as Taking It To The Top plays. They slide out of the ring and head to the back.

Mark: Goodnight, ladies and gentlemen!

The Superfans put down their headset and leave the arena as well. Shannan and Kyle reluctantly get their headsets back and sit back down.

Shannan Lerch: Well that was interesting!

Kyle Steel: It certainly was, Shannan. It certainly was.

Television Title Tournament
Anastasia Petrova vs Havoc

Shannan Lerch: And welcome back fans, I hope your ready for a treat because up next is Anastasia Petrova versus Havoc.

Kyle Steel: Well I have a treat I'd like to give Miss Petrova.

Shannan Lerch: I hate you. Anyway let's get ready for this fight.

Na Rasputye by Kipelov plays and the lights turn red as Anastasia Petrova prances about the stage. She stops in the middle of the stage and blows one big kiss to all her fans.

Kyle Steel: Did you see that she blew a kiss right to me.

Shannan Lerch: I did see...HEY WHAT THE HELL?

At the top of the ramp Havoc has jumped Ana, not caring to wait for his entrance. Havoc spins Ana around and blows a kiss at her before nailing her with a big right. Ana stumbles down to the ring and Havoc mouths off to the fans who are booing him. Ana starts to pull her self up using the ring apron, but Havoc slams her head down on the mat. He scoops Ana up for a powerslam but points to the post.

Kyle Steel: Don't do it Havoc. For the love of God just throw her in the ring and get this match started.

Havoc rushes forward intent on trying to cripple Ana, but she slides behind him and shoves him into the post. Havoc nails the post and stumbles back right into Ana who runs him into the post again. He falls down holding his head as Ana slides in the ring. She is holding her neck as she tells the ref to count. But he tells her that the match hasn't started and she needs to get Havoc in the ring. Ana goes back outside and lifts Havoc up, she slaps him across the face.

Shannan Lerch: You go girl, give that bully just what he deserves.

Kyle Steel: Yeah, come on Ana.

She tosses Havoc in the ring and shakes her booty to all her fans. She gets up on the apron and waits for Havoc to get up. She springboards in with a missile dropkick, but Havoc sees her coming and moves out of the way as she crashes to the mat hard. Havoc grabs her hair and lifts her head up and start to pummel her as the crowd boos. He stops for a second and looks around he lifts her up and sets her up for a neckbreaker. He lets the crowd know that they are number one in his book with that dastardly middle finger before dropping Ana hard to the mat. She screams out in pain and grabs her neck.

Shannan Lerch: Well Havoc definatly isn't going to be winning any popularity contests her at WCF. He's going for the cover Ana kicks out.

Havoc starts to choke her as the ref administers the 5 count. Havoc stops at four, but then chokes her again. The ref starts the count again and again Havoc lets up at 4. The ref yells at Havoc about not breaking the rules. Havoc tells the ref he has until 5. He lifts Ana up and starts choking her on the rope, the ref again counts to 5 this time at 4 he pulls Havoc off her. Havoc smiles and kicks the middle rope right into Ana's throat. The ref again tells Havoc to watch it.

Kyle Steel: Havoc clearly has no respect for the rules here, and he's breaking them just to inflict punishment on Ana. This isn't what wrestling is about.

Shannan Lerch: Technically he's not breaking the rules, he knows he has till the five count, so he's only bending them. But I wouldn't mind seeing someone break Havoc.

Havoc lifts Ana up and connects with a hard right had, which sends her back down the the mat. He lifts her up and does it again, and then again. He lifts her up one more time but this time she blocks the hit, and starts firing back with hits of her own. Rights, lefts, slaps, chops, headbutts anything she can throw she is throwing and the crowd is erupting for it. She staggers Havoc and hits off the ropes.

Kyle Steel: Big running Hurricanrana, she stays hooked on can this do it? 1...2.. NO Havoc kicks out. Damn it come on Petrova!

Shannan Lerch: Havoc may be up but he is woozy, Ana going off the ropes looking for it again.

But this time Havoc drop toe holds her into the ropes. She is set up on the middle rope as Havoc looks at her and motions for the 619. He looks at all the fans and then shakes his booty at them as they all boo.

Kyle Steel: That is a sight I could have gone without seeing for my whole life.

He charges forward, but Ana moves and trips him up landing him in the exact same position. The crowd roars as this time it's Ana who shakes her booty and hits off the ropes. She connects with the 619, she's shaking her booty as Havoc stumbles out to the middle of the ring. She springboards in for a big flying clothesline, but Havoc catches her arm and drives her down ala Benoit. Havoc locks on the Ego Breaker as Ana calls out in pain. Havoc wrenching back in the middle of the ring as Ana screams out. The fans start to chant her name as she starts to drag her self to the ropes.

Shannan Lerch: The crowd really giving Ana the power to fight her, it's almost as if she's drawing her strength off of them and that's allowing her to keep going.

Kyle Steel: Yes and she is scraping her way to the ropes. I hope she makes it.

Ana slowly pulls herself to the ropes and just when it seems she's just about to tap out, she stretches her arm out and grabs the bottom rope. Havoc looks pissed but doesn't let go of the hold, the ref begins his count. At 4 the ref tries to get Havoc to release the hold but he isn't letting up as Ana screams in pain the ref counts to 5 and calls for the bell. Havoc doesn't seem to care as he just keeps ripping at her shoulder and neck with the submission. Ana is screaming in pain as the ref tries to pry Havoc off Ana, but he isn't able to do it.

Shannan Lerch: Let go of the hold, dammit Havoc. Just let go, the match is over.

Kyle Steel: That sick son of a bitch he doesn't care. All he wants to do is hurt her, he never cared about the T.V Title at all.

Havoc keeps wrenching back and screaming at Ana, who has passed out from the pain. The ref calls for help from the back as some refs make their way down to the ring as well as some other wrestlers, the Breathtakers and SuperFans are notable, so is Jack Dancer. Havoc releases the hold and rolls out of the ring right before the faces slide in. Havoc smiles staring at Ana, as the ref calls for the EMTs.

Shannan Lerch: Well Anastasia may have won this match but she doesn't look like a winner. Not right now.

Kyle Steel: That's right, Anastasia will advance in the T.V Title Tournament but I just hope she's ok, and I for damn sure hope someone puts Havoc in his place soon.

Television Title Tournament
Ryan Daniels vs Tank Reaper

We come back from a commercial break and we're looking at Daniels inside the ring as his music fades out slowly. The crowd comes alive as Tank Reaper is coming out next!

Kyle Steel: Welcome back to Monday Night Slam ladies and gentlemen, up next is another Television Title tournament match!

Fireworks explode on the ramp, and everyone quickly turns their attention to it. Sympathy by Non Divine hits the speakers and the crowd goes nuts. Tank Reaper walks slowly out on the stage putting both arms in the air ala Stone Cold Steve Austin. The crowd again reaches their feet and cheers for their new favorite wrestler. Tank walks down the ramp pointing to his opponent in the ring and then pointing to the crowd for the approval of his fan base. Tank reaches the ring, where he pulls himself up onto the apron, and then steps his seven foot body over the ropes. Flashbulbs light from every which direction for the simple fact that Tank is one hell of an athlete to look at. Tank taunts one more time in the center of the ring for good measure. Fireworks explode off the ring posts and Tank's music stops.

The ref rings the bell and the match officially starts. Tank and Reaper are about to tie up when the jumbotron lights up and the lights dim!

Shannan Lerch: What the hell?

We till shown the world' s biggest hamburger Joint King, built by the family of Prince Jimmy Of and it is in New Guinea. Then outside of it we till shown to dead dragon. On top of the dragon is Prince Jimmy Of wearing his royal purple tights and holding company to huge sword. We zoom in.

Prince Jimmy Of: WCF, I am returning soon! I have slayed this dragon that threatened our royal hamburger Joint King and I am ready to slay the competition! YEAH!

Jimmy Of slashes the dragon' s head off!

The jumbtron goes black, just as Tank rolls up Ryan Daniels!

One! Two! Three!

Shannan Lerch: Well what the hell just happened?!

Kyle Steel: Tank Reaper just picked up the win! Over Ryan Daniels!

Shannan Lerch: Well only because Prince Jimmy Dean is returning? What the? How completely random?!

Kyle Steel: Well, Tank got the win, but Tank is also helping up Ryan Daniels and dusting him off. Daniels is not happy.

Shannan Lerch: Doesn't look like Tank minds though! Tank advances!

Johnny Reb Segment

“Bad Company” hits the speakers, the lights dim, and the crowd starts to boo. Johnny Reb makes his entrance, dressed in jeans and a T-shirt bearing the image of a Southern Comfort label, with the letters “DIS” inscribed between the two words. He struts confidently down the ramp, Dixie at his side, and the WCF Title slung over his shoulder. Ascending the ring steps, the Inveterate Confederate holds the ropes for Dixie, then follows her into the ring.

Shannan Lerch: Well, the Inveterate Confederate certainly seems to be enjoying his new status, even if no one else is.

Kyle Steel: Right you are, Shannan. Johnny Reb is a hell of a competitor – you have to give him that – but the fans absolutely despise him.

Johnny proceeds from turnbuckle to turnbuckle, adroitly leaping to the top of each one as he lifts the world title high for the audience to see, seemingly oblivious to the continual rain of jeers. At last he gets back down, adjusts the title over his shoulder again, and accepts a microphone from Dixie. He waits for the furor to die down before lifting the mic to his lips.

Johnny Reb: Good evenin’, WCF!

This elicits another collective boo from the crowd. Someone starts a “YOU SUCK” chant that is rapidly quelled. Johnny Reb remains unperturbed.

Johnny Reb: I stand before you tonight, your new World Champion! After months of strivin’, even in the face of so much negativity, I did what no one seriously thought I would: I defeated Dake Ken. An’ I –

Reb is forced to pause as the crowd voices their displeasure again.

Shannan Lerch: I really don’t like this guy.

Kyle Steel: Well, at least he isn’t Torture.

Shannan Lerch: True.

Johnny Reb: As I was sayin’... If there’s one thing that self-righteous bastard can’t bitch about this time, it’s cheatin’. I won... fair an’ square. I have faced the best of the best, an’ come out on top. An’ when you really think about it, I have Dake Ken himself to thank for this. No other man has pushed me so hard, or challenged me so thoroughly.

These are exciting times for the WCF. In the last few weeks alone, the ranks have swelled, the talent pool expanded with so many up and coming superstars. Young, hungry for success, and my tale could have been like theirs: fraught with the struggle for recognition, for just a taste of gold. Yet here I stand at the top of the mountain, your World Champion. Now, I expect y’all would like me to tell you that I am a changed man, a better man –

Suddenly, the WCFTron flickers to life. Johnny turns to stare at it in disbelief.

Shannan Lerch: What the hell? That’s Doc Henry!

Indeed it is. Henry is lounging in an otherwise deserted locker room, already dressed in his ring gear, a sardonic smile on his lips.

Kyle Steel: Henry made it clear this week that he’s on a mission, and that mission includes dethroning the Champ.

Doc Henry: Congratulations, Mr. Reb. Never thought I’d see the day... Now, I don’t envy you the match in which you will compete tonight. You better enjoy that title while you can. ‘Cause when you fall, you’re gonna fall hard. An’ when the dust settles, there ain’t gonna be anybody around – except for me.

In the ring, Johnny glances at Dixie in confusion. Dixie shakes her head, as puzzled as he is at this turn of events.

Johnny Reb: Now see here, Doc –

Doc Henry: Shut up, Johnny. I stuck by you at that ...other company, as long as I could. Until I saw what you were turnin’ into. I’ve had time since then – lotsa time – to think about this. You an’ me, Johnny, we got unfinished business. Them stunts you used to pull, they ain’t gonna fly no more. We’re gonna settle this, one way or another. Just you wait an’ see...

There is a scattering of applause and a single Ric Flair-esque “WHOOO!” as the screen goes black. Dixie and Johnny leave the ring, Reb scowling and clutching his title strap just a little tighter. They pause one final time on the stage, turning to face the audience as Johnny lifts the belt over his head once more to renewed catcalls and jeers, before disappearing into the back.

Television Title Tournament
Anthrax vs D-Day

Kyle Steel: And now, the second half of the TV Title tournament!

The lights flicker on and off and Metallica's Cyanide kicks through the airwaves. Anthrax steps outs through the smoke but stops on the edge of the ramp. Colton stands with him and both men do the same taunt; both hands in the air with a very mean face. Colt leads Anthrax down the ramp and into the ring. Colton makes sure everyone knows that Anthrax is here to fight.

Shannan Lerch: Here is Anthrax.

Dead and Gone by T.I. ft Juston Timberlake plays in the speakers. The lights are dim.The lights flash on to D-Day walking out to the top of the ramp and falls on his knees and throws his arms in the air, as soon as he throws them in the air fire works go off and surround him. The screen shows all of D-Day moments of his dead and forgotten special move. As also the screen shows a ring then the words in white and in cursive, the words D-Day. When D-Day get in the ring he raises his hands to his name on the screen.

Kyle Steel: And, of course, D-Day. One of the most underappreciated stars in WCF, I'd say.

The bell rings and the match is on. Anthrax runs at D-Day and tackles him down, throwing punch after punch after punch.

Shannan Lerch: Anthrax really doesn't like D-Day!

Eventually Anthrax roles off and goes to kick D-Day right in the head but D-Day rolls away. He gets back up and Anthrax runs at him, but D-Day grabs him and hits a Judo Hip Toss.

Kyle Steel: D-Day back in the match!

D-Day pins Anthrax quickly.

One, two, no! Kickout.

Shannan Lerch: Close call!

D-Day gets back up and climbs to the top rope, quickly. He looks down at Anthrax and flies off with a Frogsplash! This results in another pin!

Kyle Steel: Another nearfall! D-Day really wants this win!

After this D-Day picks Anthrax up, but Anthrax gives him a low blow, knowing that the ref can't see him. Anthrax pushes D-Day away and then hits a Backbreaker! Anthrax stands off and shakes off the cobwebs before stomping on D-Day angrily. He picks him up and then slams him back down with a Scoop Slam! He then drops an elbow on him. The crowd begins booing as Anthrax raises his arms.

Shannan Lerch: Welp, Anthrax back in control here.

Anthrax waits for D-Day to get on his feet, getting ready for a big move. Anthrax is behind him and puts him in a Full Nelson!

Kyle Steel: I bet he's going for the Lethalizer!

But D-Day powers out of it! Anthrax is shocked, D-Day then throws Anthrax to the ropes and then starts kicking Anthrax rapidly.. he then kicks him right between the eyes!

Shannan Lerch: D for Destruction! This is it, D-Day has the win!

Anthrax goes down and D-Day is about to pin him, but suddenly the arena starts raining blood.

Kyle Steel: What the hell is this!?

Several gallons of what can only be described as blood rains down from the ceiling and into the ring, drenching Anthrax and D-Day! The audience is shocked and D-Day gets hit the most with the blood rain. He falls to the ground as he and Anthrax both continue to get drenched, until the rain stops several moments later.

Shannan Lerch: What.. what was that, Kyle?!

Kyle Steel: I have no idea, Shannan.

Anthrax and D-Day are laying next to each other, and eventually Anthrax summons the energy to throw his arm across D-Day. The referee, who is also covered in blood that splattered up at him, counts the pin.

Shannan Lerch: Looks like Anthrax gets the win here. But who orchestrated this bloodbath?

After the pin, Anthrax stays laying on the ground as the ref raises his hand. The ref promptly leaves, and D-Day coughs, rolling out of the ring. Anthrax does his best to stand and raise his arm in the air to a chorus of booing as he leaves the ring as well.

Kyle Steel: D-Day had this match won if it wasn't for the rain of blood. Either way, Anthrax is the one moving on in the tournament, however.

People head to the ring to start cleaning it up.

Television Title Tournament
Apollo vs Doc Henry

Lights dim, to an orange glow as if at sunrise, as music starts.

With the main guitar riff, Doc enters the arena in a light haze.

As lyrics start, he slowly raises his head looking into the ring, raising his hands up for a slow pop. Lights fade up as he does this.

I wake up in the morning
And I raise my weary head
I got an old coat for a pillow
And the earth was last nights bed

Doc proceeds to the ring high fiving the crowd.

Only God knows where Ive been
Im a devil on the run
A six gun lover
A candle in the wind

Walking up the steps and ducks under the top rope. Pumping his fists and getting the crowd riled, he fist pumps facing all four sides.

When youre brought into this world
They say youre born in sin
Well at least they gave me something
I didnt have to steal or have to win
Well they tell me that Im wanted
Yeah Im a wanted man

Gallantly removes hat and saddle coat before extinguishing cigarette on ring post.

Im colt in your stable
Im what cain was to abel
Mister catch me if you can
Im going down in a blaze of glory...

Kyle Steel: That was one long entrance for Doc Henry.

Shannan Lerch: Either way, this crowd seems to be into this character. Or maybe he's facing Apollo. Yuck.

Kyle Steel: Apollo has had some tough wins especially against Tank Reaper.

The first few rift of Running Free by Coheed and Cambria play through the speakers.

"All non-believers stand aside in fear...
a new day is marching through the door..."

Apollo enters the stage from behind the curtain

"How could you ever think you might get here?...
Did it bleed?
was it sore?
Through all the stuggles you've endured.
You've come so far from innocence,
provided only consequence,
only what does it matter now?"

Apollo gets to the base of the ramp and points to the stars. fire works shoot down mimicking falling stars. and explode near him on stage. As the star pyro touches down on stage Apollo leaps forward and sprints to the ring.

"Cause you're coming home,
you're running free.
As only you would be
if you never owed them anything
and now you've found your way out
In the trust you've seen, the path on home"

Apollo slides across the edge of the ring, climbing the turnbuckle halfway up on the outside. He looks out to the crowd, points at all of the fans in attendance, then points up and hops into the ring.

The ref rings the bell, and Doc and Apollo tie up. Doc takes advantage and hits some backhand chops before Apollo takes Doc and reverses the stand off. Now Apollo delivers some stiff backhand chops. Landing five of them. Apollo backs up, and lets Doc stumble out and hit's a hip toss. Doc sits up after the move, and Apollo kicks Doc in the back of the head. That causes Doc to lay out after whipping forward. Apollo quickly hits the ropes and hits a dropkick to the shoulder and head of Doc! Apollo makes the cover. Just a two.

Kyle Steel: Apollo moving pretty fast in this match up.

Shannan Lerch: Well, Tank was huge, Doc is six-five, yes, but Doc is also under 200 pounds.

Apollo picks up Doc and throws him shoulder first into the turnbuckle post through the ropes in the corner. Doc stays put however, and Apollo gives a stiff kick to the back of the leg of Doc! Doc gets out of the corner and stumbles around holding his leg. Apollo attacks the leg from behind once more but this time with a shoulder tackle into it. Doc goes down backwards as his leg fails him. Apollo drags him by the legs into the center of the ring where he puts a leg over going for the Sharpshooter, but Doc kicks out of it and squirms his way to the outside of the ring. Doc walks around and Apollo slides out of the ring on the other side. He comes running up behind Doc and gives a field goal style kick to the same leg of Doc from behind! Doc goes flying to his back as Apollo tells the crowd whose up close and personal to shut up.

Kyle Steel: Apollo just does not care.

Shannan Lerch: Doc looking worse for wear in this match up.

Apollo picks up Doc and throws him into the ring. Apollo taunts to the crowd on the apron before setting foot inside. As soon as he does, Doc feels the energy of the crowd whose behind him and throws an array of punches and kicks to Apollo whose now staggering back to the corner. Doc throws Apollo to the other corner where he meets Apollo with a huge clothesline. He throws Apollo to the mat below. Doc climbs the top rope but he holds his leg. Doc does climb up the top rope and jumps off, but Apollo action-rolls out of the way and Doc lands on his feet but trips up as his hurt-leg takes the brunt of the fall. Apollo goes for the kill, and Doc is in trouble, but he floats around to behind Apollo and rolls him up for a quick pin!

One! Two!

Shannan Lerch: Apollo kicks up!

Kyle Steel: Doc might be in defense mode now.

Doc gets to his feet as does Apollo. Apollo goes for a back body drop, but Doc keeps the hold, floats over upside down, sits out, then rolls Apollo up for another pin! One! Two! Kick out! Doc sits up, trying to anyway before Apollo does. Apollo turns around, and Doc hits a drop toe hold, but then holds his leg. Apollo uses the ropes to get to his feet as Doc sits up moving backwards to the corner. Apollo smells 'blood'. Doc is stating his leg is in pain. Apollo gets close, but Doc uses hte ropes above him to lift up, and kick Apollo in the face as if it was just a ruse! Apollo stumbles backwards, and Doc kips up and floats behind Apollo hitting a German Suplex! Doc pins once more!

One! Two!

Kyle Steel: Another two count for Doc! Getting closer and closer!

Doc gets up, hopping around on his leg once more, and when he does get to his feet, he goes for a dropkick, but Apollo catches him, slams him down in a semi-power bomb, and then puts him into a Boston Crab right in the center of the ring! Doc may tap!

Kyle Steel: Winner moves on to the next round for the Television Title!

Shannan Lerch: Doc has energy in his arms though! He can pull himself forward to those ropes!

Doc inches closer and closer to the ropes and finally reaches them, but Apollo doesn't break the hold. The ref issues the five count. One! Two! Three! Four! Apollo breaks the hold. He taunts as if this is nothing. He 'wipes the sweat from his brow' and flicks it at the downed Doc Henry. Apollo picks up Doc and irish whips him to the ropes, but Doc stumbles before he even gets close to the ropes and just falls forward holding his leg. Apollo picks up Doc from behind, but Doc schoolboys it into a pin! One! Two! Kickout again for Apollo! Doc was so close. Apollo gets up and grabs Doc from behind going for the Burning Star! He grabs the hold from behind on Doc, but he fights out of it! Apollo gets an elbow to the eye and stumbles backwards, when Apollo opens his eyes and throws a wild punch, Doc ducks it, catches it, then hits his trademark; Gambler's Hand! Apollo is out!

Kyle Steel: That may do it! Apollo isn't looking good now!

Shannan Lerch: What's Doc thinkin? It's over! Pin him!

Doc points to the top rope and the crowd all stands up. It might be one of the most exciting finishers in WCF! Doc gets on the apron and goes one rope up. His leg in tremendous pain. Doc goes two ropes up. Still holding his leg. Doc reaches the top, but now has trouble getting to his feet. Doc manages to do so and taunts to the happy-crowd! Doc leaps in the air for his All-In!

Kyle Steel: A shooting star press! LOOK OUT!

Apollo is on his feet, and Doc fully rotates, but as soon as he does, and mere feet from landing, Apollo is in the air and connects with the Shattered Star !!!!! Apollo lands flat on his back, with Doc crashing on his knees! Doc is out. Apollo pins.

Kyle Steel: One! Two! Three! Apollo wins!

Shannan Lerch: Apollo moves to the next round, but my god what a crazy way to end that match. A shooting star press turned into the Shattered Star? Who saw THAT coming?

Kyle Steel: Nobody Shannan. That might be why he's using it as his finisher.

Shannan Lerch: Apollo wins again, and Doc is going to feel that one in the morning.

Slickie T Segment

As the crowd quiets and settles back into their seats to await the competitors for the next match, the lights dim and red, white, and green spotlights begin to circle the arena as “Gravesend (Lake of Fire)” by the Lordz of Brooklyn blares over the Wachovia Center speakers. An unscheduled Slickie T makes his way through the curtains, his United States Title belt over his shoulder, and slowly down the ramp, acknowledging those who extend their hand to him by slapping them back in return. Instead of being adorned in his normal in-ring attire, the United States Champion sports a black designer suit and tie, as he makes his way up the ring steps and onto the apron, acknowledging the crowd once more by extending his title belt into the air with his right arm before climbing between the ropes. He calls for a microphone and is request is granted as one is tossed in to him as he catches it and begins to speak.

The crowd pops loudly as a smiles comes over the face of the US Champion before he settles them back down and continues.

Slickie T: As you know, I wasn’t scheduled to be here tonight, but I figured that since the WCF Championship Series was underway and the Television Title Tournament is beginning tonight, that it is only fair that the United States Champion make an appearance as well. You see, last Sunday at Ultimate Showdown, I proved to everyone out there that this United States Title belt is now for real and it will take just as much talent and effort to call yourself the WCF United States Champion as it will to become the World Title holder. I have proven to the guys in the back that there is once again honor and prestige associated with the WCF United States Championship and that it is going to take more than three opponents at the same time in order to take this title away from me!

The crowd pops once again as they are reminded of the United States Title match that took place at Ultimate Showdown and a few of the best highlights are shown on the big screen behind the current title holder before he speaks once more.

Slickie T: With that being said, I am just as excited about the Television Title Tournament as the rest of you and I wish the best of luck to everyone that has advanced tonight, in their quests to become the first TV Title holder here in the WCF. It's a shame what happened to both D-Day and Ryan Daniels. Both of them proved to be formidable opponents when I fought them and one of them NEARLY pinned the other and became the new United States Champion, but let’s be honest, did you think I was just going to sit back and let that happen? The only way that I am going to relinquish this title is if it is MY shoulders that are pinned to the mat and Daniels found that out first hand on Sunday night.

As much as I respect the United States Championship and as much as I would like to remain your champion until the end of time, I think that now is the time to start moving on to bigger and better things. The WCF is evolving and every time I turn around more talent is being added to the roster and it is becoming harder and harder to rise up through the ranks and become the top title holder in the federation. I have taken on all opposition to my United States Championship and proven that I have what it takes to compete at the WCF’s highest level. Not only have I defeated every opponent I have faced in singles action here in the WCF, but I’ve defeated some of the best that the federation has to offer as I advanced my way up the ladder, earned my title shot, capitalized on it, and then defended it when the odds were stacked against me. Now my sights are set on something more than the United States Title, I want to my shot at Johnny Reb’s World Title!

Another loud pop is heard from the crowd as Slickie quickly paces the ring, determination in his voice as he prepares for his final words.

Slickie T: I realize that I’m not just going to waltz my way into being the #1 Contender, Torture, Gravedigger, and my friend Dake Ken may have something to say about that and would want me to prove I belong in the upper echelon of this federation. Well, I was informed that there was something here in the WCF that was unlike any event that I had competed in before…an event that puts nearly the entire roster into the ring at one time…an event where only pinfall or submission will eliminate an most importantly, an event that guarantees the winner a World Title shot. And as you already know, the event I am speaking of is War VIII!

The crowd nearly blows the roof off the Wachovia Center as they begin to chant “WAR! WAR! WAR! WAR!” in unison as a single force.

Slickie T: And if I can’t get my World Title shot at Revenge, then I will earn my shot at War XIII by being the land man standing, just as I was this week at Ultimate Showdown. If you think War was something to behold before, just wait until Slickie T steps between those ropes and shows the entire world why he has earned the nickname “The Ace of Hardcore!” Forza Italia….

He drops the mic as his music once again begins to blare over the speakers as he slips back through the ring ropes and the long time Slickie T fans finish his sentence as one with a resounding “Mi Amore!” His familiar smirk is now visible on his face as he adjusts the United States belt over his shoulder and heads back up the ramp.

Torture vs Rick Mad/Mikami

The lights go out and Mikami's double-M logo appears on the JumboTron as "The Beast" by Tech N9ne plays, starting at the first chorus. The lights turn back on but are now red, revealing Mikami standing at the top of the ramp. He runs down the ramp, dives into the ring and then jumps back up to his feet. The crowd cheers.

Kyle Steel: Normally the bad guys, but in this case the crowd has decided they're the good guys.

Shannan Lerch: You also mean they're as in Rick Mad as well.

Kyle Steel: Yup. Speaking of the devil..

Evenflow by Pearl Jam hits, and Rick Mad steps out. The fans cheer him as he walks to the ring, ignoring them but still. He slides in, climbs up a turnbuckle and poses as green pyro shoots from the other three turnbuckles.

Kyle Steel: Handicap match, Mikami and Rick Mad taking on Torture as Seth put it, this match is to punish Torture for the weeks of rampage Torture has dealt here in WCF.

Shannan Lerch: There is a reward, however, Kyle. If Torture can win he's the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship belt that he still thinks belongs to him. All of this of course, he has to do without the help of Death.

Kyle Steel: If Death is to get involved he will be fired!

Jamais Vu hits and the crowd goes into a frenzy of boo's. The Arena is deafening with boo's. Torture steps out from the curtain back in his wrestling attire on the top of the ramp. He stops on the stage and stares through both Mad, and Mikami. Torture walks down the ramp slowly and methodically. Mad has had enough, and just slides out of the ring and runs up the ramp where Torture and Mad exchange right and left hands! The music stops and the crowd comes alive!

Kyle Steel: Mad is starting this thing out right now!

Mad throws Torture into the guardrail, and then clotheslines him down. Mad steps over Torture, but the Tort pulls him by the trunks and head first into the guardrail. Torture stands up and takes Rick Mad and then throws him to the other guardrail. Mad turns around and Torture hits a back body drop on Mad right on the cold steel of the ramp. Torture shakes it off and slides into the ring where the ref rings the bell as Mikami and Torture tie up. Mikami has the advantage and shoves Torture back into the corner, but Torture lands a knee to the midsection, and turns Mikami to the corner now. From here, Torture puts on a headlock rest hold and walks towards the center of the ring. Mikami shoves Torture out of the headlock and to the ropes, Torture returns with a shouldertackle on Mikami. (Torture stays standing.) Mikami stands up and Torture hits the ropes where he lands a stiff clothesline. From here, Torture bends down and puts Mikami back in a headlock.

Shannan Lerch: Torture staying in control. The crowd not liking it one bit either!

A chorus of boo's is heard as Torture trash talks each of the 'white trash' people in the stands. Mikami hears the cheers now and stands Torture up, and throws him to the ropes again. This time Torture returns but Mikami ducks and Mad catches Torture by the head and snaps his neck over the top rope! Torture stumbles backwards into a German Suplex from Mikami! Mad rolls into the ring and demands Mikami to pick up Torture. Mikami does so and Mad lands a few punches to his midsection. The crowd is now chanting for Rick Mad! Mad grabs Torture and goes for a Mad DDT, but Torture backs out of it and turns around when Mikami hits a roundhouse kick! Torture goes down. Mad stands in the corner as Mikami picks up Torture..

Kyle Steel: Mad taking another break..

Mikami grabs Torture and hits another spin kick then runs and springboards off the ropes and hits a large Moonsault. Mikami picks up Torture and then throws him to the ropes and when Tort returns Mikami hits a spinning DDT, then kips up and goes to the top rope. The crowd cheers as Mikami lands a huge frog splash! Torture sells the move great, but rolls out of the ring and smartly crashes to the mats. Mad gets frustrated and slides out of the ring. He picks up Torture and throws him to the ring apron and hits a few backhand chops before throwing him face first into the ring post!

Shannan Lerch: Mad taking it to Torture now! Crowd loves this!

The ref asks for the action to come back to the ring. Mad throws Torture inside the ring. Torture gets on his knees and backs himself into the corner as Mad steps closer to him. The ref steps behind Mad to tell Torture to get to his feet, but Torture hits a low blow on Mad but also connects with the ref as well! The crowd hates it as Mikami now realizes what's going on. The ref rolls around to the corner holding his junk, as Torture stands up and Mikami spin kicks him once more! Torture goes down and Mikami picks up Torture and throws a few punches before throwing Torture to the ropes, when Torture comes back he ducks the clothesline attempt from Mikami and when he hits the ropes again, Mad stops Torture with a swift kick to the gut and an event swifter MAD DDT ~!@~!

Kyle Steel: Oh! It could be over!

Mad pins Torture.

Shannan Lerch: The crowd counting out the three count twice doesn't make it official!

Kyle Steel: The ref is still out! Mikami is lifting the ref up!

Mad gets to his feet and helps Mikami lift up the ref, Torture kicks Mad forward and shoves the ref into the corner. The ref is knocked out again. Mikami picks up Torture and hits a DDT of his own. He then lifts him up and puts him on the top rope. Mikami springboards to the shoulders of Torture, spins, then hits a hurricanrana off the top rope! Mikami goes to pin, but Mad stops him and picks up Torture and hits another Mad DDT! The crowd is an uproar however, because spotlights show Death walking down the ramp.

Kyle Steel: He can't get involved! He'll be fired! He shouldn't even be allowed to come down that big son of a bitch.

Shannan Lerch: You think anyone associated with Torture cares? Wait! The crowd is cheering! Look at this! LOOK AT THIS!

Seth Lerch comes jogging out and stops Death midway down the ramp. Seth gets in Deaths' face.. well kind of, and begins pointing to the back. Death shrugs him off and walks passed him, and Seth grabs Death and gets back in front of him, once again blocking his path from the ring. Seth is demanding he walk back up the ramp. Death walks backwards but trash talks Seth in the meantime. The two get in a heated argument as the crowd is in an uproar again!

Kyle Steel: What the hell is this?!

Shannan Lerch: What? WHY! WHY!

A man slides into the ring so fast it's unidentifiable right now. He lands a stiff chairshot on Rick Mad causing him to go down quick like a sack of potatoes.

Mikami turns around and gets a stiff chair shot to the head as well, and then one more as he stumbles back to hte ropes causing him to bend through the ropes and land on the outside. Havoc drops the chair on the outside and slaps the ref to wake him up. He slides out of the ring as the ref turns and crawls over to Mad whose out cold. Torture sits up and lays an arm over Rick Mad!

Kyle Steel: God damn it!

Shannan Lerch: Torture wins?

Jamais Vu lights up through the speakers and Seth's jaw drops, he turns around slowly as Death runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. Death picks up Torture and celebrates with Havoc! The crowd is booing like never before. Seth stands at the top of the ramp in total shock. Havoc and Death raise their arms in the air and begin trash talking the crowd whose booing them, as Torture pants heavy while staring a hole right through Seth Lerch's face.

Kyle Steel: What is this?

Shannan Lerch: To my knowledge, Havoc, Death and Torture were a faction in XCW back in 2002! They're all close friends. That must be why Havoc joined WCF a few weeks ago! I just never put two and two together!

Kyle Steel: I don't.. I don't know.. but.. Torture is going to Revenge with a World Heavyweight Championship title shot. My god.

Shannan Lerch: This is dangerous. Seth Lerch isn't dealing with just Torture now. He's dealing with an unstable, chaotic mad man.. who just seemed to put the pieces in place to rise to the top. This is almost disgusting.

WCF cuts to Mikami who is getting checked out from the two vicious chair shots he took. Staff members are checking on him and it may not look so good.

Kyle Steel: Getting word he may have a concussion. Mad is okay though, he's walking it off!

Shannan Lerch: God damn Torture.. god damn him!

Kyle Steel: We're going to take a commercial break fans, we'll be right back.

Gravedigger vs Johnny Reb
WCF Championship Series Match

Kyle Steel: And now it is time for the second match of the WCF Championship Series 2009... we already have a new Champion as a result, and we just might have one tonight.

Shannan Lerch: Gravedigger is no slouch, that's for sure. Former Champion, for the first several month of this version of WCF's existance he dominated the fed.

Kyle Steel: And now he's finally got his straight up, one on one Title match.

The lights go out. They stay off for about 15 seconds or so with complete silence before the opening sounds of "Awaiting the Turmoil" by Valley of the Dead starts playing. Smoke starts filling the entryway and stops as the song gets halfway through. The smoke starts to slowly fade away and Gravedigger can be seen standing in the entryway with his brother, Brian Borroughs. Gravedigger is wearing black pants and a black muscle shirt. His hair is in black and white strands, his face covered in a tribal design via face paint. Brian is bald and has a pair of shades and a business suit on.

Shannan Lerch: Johnny Reb. Only the third World Champion we've had in this incarnation, and he defeated Dake Ken Sunday night at Ultimate Showdown.

Kyle Steel: He has a ladder match win against Torture under his belt as well! However, all of his big match wins.. HAVE been in Ladder matches.

Shannan Lerch: Let's see if he has what it takes to get it done here tonight!

The opening chords of "Bad Company" by Bad Company filter through the arena. The stage and the surrounding area go dark. As the actual lyrics begin, blue lights illuminate a pair of figures: Johnny Reb and Dixie Pride.

Always on the run.

The WCF World Title is around Johnny Reb's waist. Reb and Dixie both step out onto the ramp and the stage lights return to normal.

Is the rising sun.

Johnny’s appearance draws a mixed reaction from the crowd, largely of a negative variety.

I was born 6-gun in my hand,
Behind a gun, I make my final stand.

The Inveterate Confederate starts down the ramp, slowly, and pauses halfway down.

That's why they call me...

Suddenly, a fountain of pyros erupts behind him to coincide with the change in the song's tempo. Johnny raises his hands and lifts his head, making a beckoning motion, reveling in the crowd’s attentions, favorable or not.

Bad Company. And I can't deny,
Bad Company, til the day I die.

Reb lowers his arms and gives the dissenting fans a disdainful sneer.

Rebel souls.
Deserters we are called,
Chose a gun
And threw away the sun.

Johnny keeps walking toward the ring at a stately pace, ignoring taunts. Dixie remains at his side, casting the occasional insult back at an over exuberant dissident.

Now these towns,
They all know our name.
6-gun sound...
Is our claim to fame.

Reb walks up the steel steps and holds the ropes for Dixie. He stalks to the far corner and climbs onto the second turnbuckle, posing for the audience.

I can hear them say..
Bad Company, and I won’t deny.
Bad. Bad Company, til the day I die.

Dixie works the crowd as Johnny hops off the turnbuckle and removes the hat and coat. The music fades away.

Kyle Steel: This is a big match, folks, and the crowd is electric.

Indeed, they are. As both men stand in the ring, the crowd boos, but some chants of "GRAVEDIGGER!" or "JOHNNY REB!" erupt from different spots in the arena. Reb and Gravedigger both glare at the fans, which causes them all to boo even more.

Shannan Lerch: We know for sure, whoever wins this match, assuming they hold the belt until Revenge, they'll be facing the former Champion... Torture.

Kyle Steel: Remember, Torture has yet to be pinned or submitted. He's really the ultimate opponent for the end of the Series.

Johnny Reb and Gravedigger meet in the middle of the ring. Gravedigger tries to tie up, but Reb sidesteps him and kicks the back of his knee. Gravedigger yells, and Reb uses his speed to avoid any strikes Gravedigger attempts, while continuing to kick Gravedigger's knees and legs. Eventually Gravedigger has had enough and shoves Reb away, and as Reb runs back at him, Gravedigger hits a huge Big Boot!

Shannan Lerch: Back in the here and now, Reb had a good strategy going but Gravedigger's power was just too much!

The fans boo Gravedigger more heavily now, and he looks around, cocky smirk on his face. He picks Reb up and shoves him into the corner, hitting him with several stiff shots to the stomach. He then throws Reb across the ring, to the other turnbuckle, runs at him and hits a huge Clothesline! Reb drops to the ground and Gravedigger raises his arms.

Kyle Steel: Gravedigger has now firmly taken control! This isn't good for the Champ.

Gravedigger now lays the stomps to Johnny Reb, hitting him several times. Reb tries to crawl towards the ropes, but Gravedigger grabs him and pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Gravedigger watches as Reb tries to get to his feet, then runs at him to Clothesline him right back down. Johnny Reb ducks it!, the crowd actually cheers!, but then Gravedigger grabs him and hits a huge Belly to Belly Suplex! Right back to booing from the crowd.

Shannan Lerch: Gravedigger is vicious tonight. He's so focused.

Kyle Steel: Of course he is, Shannan. He wants this Title as much as anyone in WCF, that's for sure.

Gravedigger follows up by locking Johnny Reb in a Camel Clutch.

Shannan Lerch: He's making Johnny Reb humble!

Kyle Steel: What?

Shannan Lerch: Nevermind.

Gravedigger cranks the move for several moments. Eventually the crowd starts clapping, getting behind Johnny Reb.

Kyle Steel: Well THAT isn't something you see every day.

Eventually, it is clear that Johnny Reb isn't going to tap out. Gravedigger releases the hold, but jumps up and drops back down onto Reb's back. Reb screams, clutching his back in pain. Gravedigger then picks him up and executes a Backbreaker.

Shannan Lerch: Looks like Gravedigger has found a new target.

Gravedigger picks Reb up once more, and this time hits a Snapmare. Immediately after that he hits a stiff kick right to Reb's back! Reb goes down, and Gravedigger pins, hooking the leg.

Johnny Reb gets the shoulder up.

Kyle Steel: Close call! It isn't easy to kick out with an injured back like that..

Gravedigger now begins climbing to the top rope.

Shannan Lerch: He could be going for the Death From Above! This could spell new Champion...

Gravedigger reaches the top. He has a smirk on his face and looks around and the crowd, smiling huge.

Kyle Steel: What a cocky-

Johnny Reb is back on his feet! He hits Gravedigger hard in the stomach, then quickly jumps up and snaps off a Hurricanrana! The crowd cheers and Johnny Reb scrambles on top of Gravedigger once he hits the mat, pinning him!

Gravedigger powers out!

Shannan Lerch: One big move isn't going to put Gravedigger down, but Johnny Reb is back in this match, thats for sure!

Johnny jumps back to his feet. Gravedigger is up as well, and runs at Reb, but Reb trips him up with a Drop Toehold. Reb then puts Gravedigger into a Camel Clutch of his own!

Kyle Steel: Reb isn't the master of submissions, truthfully. And he's just taken a page out of Gravedigger's playbook. But he NEEDS this time to recover.

Gravedigger is nowhere near any ropes and has nowhere to go. The crowd is yelling, "tap! tap! tap!'.. but Gravedigger refuses. Instead, he begins powering out of the move. He starts standing up.

Shannan Lerch: Oh my God! The power of Gravedigger!

Gravedigger gets to his feet, having picked Johnny Reb up on his shoulders! Reb starts punching Gravedigger repeatedly in the head... and then Reb executes a Victory Roll, resulting in a pin! Another big pop from the crowd!

Kyle Steel: Another kickout from Gravedigger!

Shannan Lerch: If Reb would pin Gravedigger here tonight, it would solidify him as a true World Champion. He won the Title in a ladder match, but if he could pin someonee like Gravedigger...

Gravedigger stumbles to his feet, and Johnny Reb is up. Reb runs at GD and goes for a Hurricanrana, but in a split second Gravedigger reverses it into a Powerbomb! The crowd OOH's.

Kyle Steel: Both men down now! Once again, anyone's match.

And eventually both men are up. They're trading blows, one after another. Gravedigger, being more powerful, soon gets the best of Reb. He has Reb reeling, throws him to the ropes.. and goes for a Clothesline From Hell!

Shannan Lerch: Oh no-

But Reb ducks it and DDTs Gravedigger into the mat! Wasting no time, Reb climbs to the top rope... and flies off with the Southern Discomfort!

Reb pins Gravedigger, hooking the leg.

The crowd actually cheers before realizing who they're cheering, and quiet down.

Shannan Lerch: Reb has done it! Johnny Reb has defeated Gravedigger in his first Title defense!

Kyle Steel: And he advances one more week in the WCF Championship Series!

Johnny Reb stands up holding the World Title when the crowd starts to boo as Reb notices two men on each side of him on the outside of the ring. Havoc, and Death

Kyle Steel: What the hell?!

Havoc slides in and Reb turns to clothesline him, and Havoc takes the brunt of the hit, but Death hits a big boot on the back of the head of Reb causing him to stumble forward where Havoc throws Reb to the corner. Havoc unleashes holy hell in the form of right and left hands, and Death grabs Reb and hits a chokeslam. The spotlight on the stage shines bright as Torture begins to walk down the ramp slowly.

Shannan Lerch: That son of a bitch! Sorry for my language, but again, god damn him!

Torture uses the steps and climbs into the ring. Havoc picks up Reb and hits his finisher. Torture picks up the WCF World Title and stands over the beaten down Johnny Reb. Torture looks down at Reb, then closes his eyes and slowly lifts the title up with one hand. The title is now in Torture's hands and is raised in the air for all to see, and of course for all to boo. Havoc and Death do their respective taunts as well.

Kyle Steel: Oh man this is weak sauce! Fans we're out of time..

Shannan Lerch: Torture's plan to take over Wrestling Championship Federation might be slowly unfolding right in front of us. I just hope to god.. someone can stop him.

Kyle Steel: We all do, Shannan. We all do.

Torture slowly drops the WCF just as he raised it, and gently sets it on Johnny Reb in the middle of the ring. From here, the camera zooms in on Torture's face as he looks out to the crowd with his unstable, intense and very stoned face. WCF's Monday Night Slam is off the air.
