Team of Torture Segment
Ace Slaughter vs Hot Johnny Hott vs TK Saves vs Tyler Derden
Seth Lerch/Greenfever Segment
TV Title: Jay Price vs Anastasia Petrova
Anthrax/Ryan Daniels vs Logan/Hector Rodriguez vs Greenfever/Craig Jacobs vs The Big Time Jerks
Tag Titles: Truth Addiction vs The Superfans
Creeping Death vs Martin Waverly Washington V/Justin Turner/Prince Jimmy Dean/Death
Johnny Reb/Doc Henry vs Mikami/Rick Mad vs Slickie T/D-Day
Kids by MGMT hits and Slam is on the air! The fans in Ohio roar as the last stop before War is live. We go to the Slam announcer team.
Zach Davis: As always, welcome to Slam! I'm here with Shannan Lerch, and tonight we're going to find out who gets the upper hand going into War.
Shannan Lerch: Last week, we got our World Title match decided: Creeping Death.. sigh. Creeping Death returned, attacking.. sigh... the ToT.
Zach Davis: That's right, the ToT, the Team of Torture. Torture debuted his group last week, featuring Death, Havoc, Ryan Daniels, and Anthrax.
Shannan Lerch: I don't know why Torture is taunting Logan like this. I hate it.
Zach Davis: Doesn't matter. Torture doesn't have Logan to worry about at War... he has Creeping Death to worry about.
Shannan Lerch: And CD, once again, has the ToT to worry about. A very different group now, but ToT nonetheless.
Zach Davis: But War itself? Three of the frontrunners to win the match are in tag team action tonight. Each man has a partner in this triple threat tag.
Shannan Lerch: Reb and Henry, Mikami and Mad, and Slickie and D-Day. Good teams, though the only truly united team is Reb and Henry, and even they used to be rivals.
Zach Davis: Indeed. Mikami and Mad.. who knows if they'll be able to work together? Mikami is set to decide on setting his allegiances with Carr or Mad at War. And although Slickie and D-Day have teamed before, they've also been enemies. We'll see how that goes.
Shannan Lerch: We have one of Creeping Death's wonderful gauntlet matches.. sigh. He's up against Martin Waverly Washington V, Justin Turner, Prince Jimmy Dean... and Death.
Zach Davis: Death, of course, being long time partner and teammate of Torture... I'm scared to see what Creeping Death is going to do to him.
Shannan Lerch: We have a big Tag Titles rematch from Revenge, with Truth Addiction taking on the Superfans... but in a cage match! I'm ready, Zach, how about you?
Zach Davis: Oh I'm ready all right. In another huge tag match, we have ToT members Anthrax and Daniels, teaming up versus Logan and Rodriguez, versus Greenfever and Jacobs, versus the Big Time Jerks.
Shannan Lerch: How confusing.
Zach Davis: Indeed! Let's see. Logan hates Anthrax and Daniels because they're ToT. He also must hate Greenfever since he took the US Title. Logan hates Seth, whom Greenfever stole that belt from, and who will probably be trying to get it back. Craig Jacobs is just there. And the Big Time Jerks? They're jerks.
Shannan Lerch: Got it.
Zach Davis: We have a Television Title match between Jay Price and Anastasia Petrova. Both of these stars were attacked last week by Hot Johnny Hott.. and now they're competing for the TV Title.
Shannan Lerch: As for Hott, he's in our opening match with three other new stars: Ace Slaughter, TK Saves, and Tyler Derden. I can't wait to see what these guys have to offer!
Zach Davis: Let's go!
Team of Torture Segment
Jamais Vu by Dredg hits the speakers and the dreaded sound pisses off everyone in the arena for the umpteenth time. The lights flicker, and Death, Havoc, Ryan Daniels, Colton Fly, Anthrax and the World Heavyweight Champion Torture walk from behind the curtain and onto the stage. They all stand for a second gazing into the crowd.
Zach Davis: The T.O.T.
Shannan Lerch: Let's make one thing clear, this is Team of Torture, not Treachery, and that should be stated, and noted!
Zach Davis: Either way, it's a force to be reckoned with.
Torture leads them down the ramp and into the ring where Torture grabs a microphone. The rest of them spread out standing into the ring looking and trash talking the crowd. Torture begins to speak.
Torture: Last week, The T.O.T. were 'embarrassed' by the new number one Contender, Creeping Death.
Torture: What happened last week won't ever happen again. This isn't a joke, this isn't a plot to get under the skin of anybody, this is to showcase the brightest, toughest, and winningest group of Wrestlers to ever set foot in the Wrestling Championship Federation.
Crowd boos. Tort begins with his very slow, and dramatic-deep voice.
Torture: I am, without a doubt, the greatest wrestler to ever step foot inside this ring, and with that power comes great responsibility. I will now guide, mold, and lead Team of Torture to the top of Wrestling Championship Federation. You will see.. in a very short time.. what T.O.T is all about. We are the best stable to ever wrestle in WCF!
Zach Davis: I beg to differ!
Shannan Lerch: Internet sites blew up after this stable last week, quoting that Vice, Biggs, Jones, Blades and Logan were the best!
Zach Davis: I'd have to agree!
Torture: Some say we're not talented, some say that we, compared to other passed T.O.T's are over-rated. To that I say, you're wrong. You see, I've held the World Championship title for over six months on two separate occasions. This is my third occasion and let's face it, Creeping Death, nor anyone else for that matter is going to be taking this gold off of me anytime soon. Having said that, I already showed the world that Logan was never anything more than an over glorified mid-carder, a man who couldn't hold the World Championship title for more than four months. That saying also goes for Jack of Blades, who won the World Heavyweight Championship and held it for three months! J.J. Biggs? I destroyed him after having it for ONE month, and Lawnmower Jones? He loved Lawnmowers..
The rest of the group smirks.
Torture: And Danny Vice? Another glorified mid-carder. I've held the World Championship title in my last two reigns longer than all of them put together, and you tell me they have more talent than us!? I have more talent than THEM! So already we're at an advantage! Blades won the World Championship when no one else was around! I held the Hardcore Championship longer than he did and Logan was fired more times than you can say Loogie, and J.J. Biggs is nothing but a damn quitter! A coward, a loser, and a quitter! The guys who stand beside me, the guys who are behind me, These guys are the most respected, and most talented stable to ever step foot inside this wrestling ring, I guarantee it!
Zach Davis: Kind of has a point.
Shannan Lerch: Ugh, I still hate him.
Torture: Now on to some business. You're asking yourself why? Why Torture would you band together a group and call them T.O.T. It's simple. To ensure my chances and odds of one of my own teammates winning WAR so that I don't have to defend my World Heavyweight Championship against anybody.
Zach Davis: Oh! Well now it makes sense!
Shannan Lerch: I can assure you, my brother Seth isn't going to like that and he won't let that happen!
Torture: If one of my teammates wins WAR, they will be rewarded a large cash consideration from my check book, and gazed upon as another great wrestler who was teamed with Torture who won WAR.
Torture: You see, I am the greatest World Champion of not just this era, but of every era in Wrestling Championship Federation, and to restore pride, dignity, and respect to this coveted Gold, I will need to hold onto it as long as I can. Death!
Death moves forward in the group standing next to Torture.
Torture: Tonight you're in a gauntlet match with Creeping Death. Your main goal tonight is to make sure he crawls to WAR, because the battles have now begun. You will make sure that you hurt him, that you crush him, but you do not finish him. You will leave one last piece of Creeping Death for me. Tonight Death is victorious against Creeping Death! As for Anthrax and Daniels!
They to, move forward.
Torture: You're in Tag Team competition. Anthrax, I know you hate tag teams, but like I told you a few days back, this is a golden opportunity, and sometimes we're faced with great rewards, but crappy tools. You're going to hate being in a tag team, but you're going to have to do the best you can to make sure Big Time Jerks, that worthless Craig Jacobs, Hector Rodriguez, and that mid-carder Logan, never leave the ring without knowing.. who Anthrax is. You're mean, you're tough! Now show us. Same goes for you Daniels. You watch his back, he'll watch yours. Last but not least, Havoc, tonight, we make sure the odds are in our favor for WAR. Tonight, we make sure T.O.T stands tall, stands bright, and stands on top. Tonight, is T.O.T night.
Torture: In closing, I want everyone to know this is far from over. This is only the beginning, and we're only going to get stronger. T.o.T. is here to stay. Welcome us in to your homes, and enjoy a better Wrestling Championship Federation.
Torture drops the microphone and Jamais Vu hits the speakers and the crowd boo's. They all leave the ring and walk their way up the ramp. Torture leads the way up the ramp.
Zach Davis: Well, Torture is right about one thing. WAR is in seven days, and that event is shaping up to be exciting, fresh, and just an all out .. well, dare I say it? WAR.
Shannan Lerch: I just can't believe how Torture forms this group with War seven days away.
Zach Davis: Should have seen it coming, to be honest Shannan, we should have seen it coming.
Shannan Lerch: That is true.
Zach Davis: For all those wanting to hear the condition of WCF Pay Per View Announcer Luscious Jackson, he's still in the hospital from the vicious attack by Torture and his partners Havoc and Death. Here's some photos from the surgery he had just a few short days ago. While he's in better shape today, it may be a long time before we see Luscious Jackson here at ring side.
Shannan Lerch: To think, Zach, That could have been you.
Zach Davis: I think about it every day.
Ace Slaughter vs Hot Johnny Hott vs TK Saves vs Tyler Derden
Zach Davis: Here we go! New superstar showcase.
Shannan Lerch: Why do we say superstar? We should just say wrestler, Zach.
Zach Davis: You're right, you're right. Bad habit. At least we don't keep saying sports entertainment.
The lights, in the arena go dim. Three sets of spotlights start to rotate around the crowd. A loud siren, similar to a tornado warning, echoes throughout the arena. "Click click Boom" by Saliva begins to start. The crowd scrambles to stand up, some with their hands on their ears. Some of the crown run towards the entrance ramp, screaming and yelling. Ace Slaughter slowly walks through a large area of smoke, with his arms extended outward. The crowd becomes somewhat deafening. Ace slowly spins around 360 degrees. Slaughter then jumps up, in the air. As he lands, a loud explosion rattles the arena. Two pillars near the ramp entrance, spits out fire, which reaches 5 to 6 feet out of the 6 foot pillars. Slaughter continues to walk down the ramp, until he gets to the ring. Ace looks around then jumps up to the ring apron. Ace grabs the top rope and starts to shake it violently. The crowd, once again erupts. Slaughter enters the ring and proceeds to walk to the nearest ring corner. Ace climbs up to the second turnbuckle. Slaughter throws his arms up, then pounds his chest with both fists. Slaughter then jumps down, from the second turnbuckle and walks towards the center of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Well, here is a self proclaimed superstar himself, Ace Slaughter.
The Hot Johnny Hott theme by Axl Rose hits and Hot Johnny Hott steps out. He walks to the ring slowly, acknowledging fans wearing Johnny Hott t-shirts or other merchandise. He slides into the ring.
Zach Davis: Hot Johnny Hott who debuted last week by attacking Anastasia Petrova and Jay Price.
Candlelight With Heavens A Lie by Lacuna Coil plays and out comes TK Saves. He heads to the ring as the fans boo.
Shannan Lerch: We heard big talk by TK Saves over a week ago but not much since then..
Sound of Maddness hits by Shinedown, as the lead singer screams watch your back the explosion of fireworks hit as Derden hits the stage jacked up bobbing his head to the music like the hardy boyz would with a running slide into the ring, hits the top rope for a pose or two then down to business.
Zach Davis: And Tyler Derden! Another man with huge anticipation behind his debut.
All four men are in the ring and the bell sounds! Hot Johnny Hott immediately Clotheslines TK Saves out of the ring. Ace Slaughter and Tyler Derden meet, hitting each other with lefts and rights. Slaughter gets the advantage and throws Derden to the ropes, and as Derden comes back Slaughter grabs him and hits a huge Belly to Belly! As Derden hits the mat, Hott comes up behind Slaughter and spins him around, throws him to the ropes and hits a Press Gorilla Slam! All three other men are down and Hott raises his arms to booing. TK Saves gets back onto the apron, but again Hott runs at him and Clotheslines him out.
Shannan Lerch: Poor TK Saves can't get a break.
But now Tyler Derden is back up! He notices the ref paying attention to TK Saves, and hits Hott with a low blow from behind. Hott stumbles forward and Derden gets up and spins him around. He lifts him up and puts him into a Hanging Suplex. Derden lets Hott hang for several moments before dropping him down. He then floats over and pins him.
Kickout by Johnny Hott.
Zach Davis: Close one.
Slaughter is back up and grabs Derden as he was getting up from the pin. Slaughter grabs him, takes him up, and drops him down with a Brainbuster! He quickly locks in an STF afterwards!
Shannan Lerch: Good strategy! Knock Derden out with the Brainbuster then put him in a position to tap.
Derden tries to reach the ropes, but he's almost unable to do it. TK Saves, from outside, grabs Derden's arm and pulls him to the ropes so he can't tap out. The ref forces Slaughter to break the hold. TK Saves gets back into the ring, and Slaughter is angry at TK Saves' interference. Slaughter grabs him and hits a Belly to Belly, sending TK Saves flying right out of the ring! Slaughter then turns to Derden and goes to pick him up but Derden rolls him in a Small Package!
Slaughter gets out of it. Both Slaughter and Derden get to their feet, and again trade blows. Once again Slaughter gets the upper hand and throws Derden to the ropes, and as Derden is coming back Slaughter hits the Slaughterknocker!
Zach Davis: Ace Slaughter has the win right here! All he needs to do is pin him!
Slaughter pins, hooking the leg.
No! Johnny Hott kicks him off!
Shannan Lerch: So close! Almost had our winnner!
Hott picks Slaughter up and goes for a Press Slam, but Slaughter slips behind him. Slaughter spins him around and hits a Cradle Piledriver! The crowd roars as Slaughter pins Hott!
NO! Tyler Derden kicks Slaughter off now!
Zach Davis: Damn. Slaughter keeps getting people in pinning predicaments, but someone always breaks it up!
Derden picks Slaughter up. TK Saves is back on the apron once again, but Derden throws Slaughter into him, sending TK Saves flying to the outside once again. Derden then runs at Slaughter and Clotheslines him to the outside as well. Derden turns to Hott, who is stumbling up, and hits the Sound of Madness! Derden quickly falls on top of Hott, pinning him.
Shannan Lerch: There it is! Tyler Derden gets the win!
Slaughter was a second from getting back into the ring and breaking it up, and he angrily kicks the ring steps.
Zach Davis: Great showing by Slaughter here, I understand why he's frustrated. He was close to winning the match on several occasions.
The ref raises Derden's hand high in the air as his music plays. He then slides out and heads to the back.
Shannan Lerch: Johnny Hott was scheduled to go for the TV Title at War, I don't know if he'll still be a contender for that Title, we'll see what Seth decides on that.
Slaughter heads to the back as well, looking mad.
Seth Lerch/Greenfever Segment
We go to Seth's office. Seth is sitting there, with a briefcase in front of him. Two security officers bring in Greenfever, who has been put back into the strait jacket Logan put him in last week. One of the security guards holds the United States Title.
Security Guard: Here he is, sir. Would you like us to give you your United States Title back?
Seth Lerch: Wait, wait. I have a deal to make.
Security Guard: A deal.. with THIS guy?
The security guard looks over at Greenfever, who currently has a calm look on his face, but there is clearly madness behind the calm.
Seth Lerch: Exactly. You can leave.
Security Guard: What!?
Seth Lerch: You heard me. Leave the room, leave me alone with Greenfever.
Seth whispers to the guard...
Seth Lerch: But stand outside the door. If you hear anything, come in as soon as possible, for God's sake.
Security Guard: Yes, sir.
The guards set the US Title belt on the desk and leave the room, leaving Seth and Greenfever. Greenfever smiles.
Greenfever: You know I could kill you in a thousand different ways right now?
Seth Lerch: Yes, yes I believe you could. Greenfever I'm here to do business, and I'm going to cut to the chase. You took my United States Title, and I want it back. But I know that if I take it back from you, you'll stop at nothing to get back at me. So I'm proposing a trade.
Greenfever: ...A trade?
Seth Lerch: You let this go. You let me keep my United States Title. And I... give you this.
Seth opens up the briefcase on his desk.. revealing the WCF Hardcore Title. A smile comes to Greenfever's lips.
Greenfever: I'd be the official Hardcore Champion?
Seth Lerch: Exactly.
Greenfever thinks about it for several moments..
Greenfever: You've got a deal, Mr. Lerch.
Seth smiles and hands the Hardcore Title to Greenfever.
Seth Lerch: I still have to have the guards escort you around the arena, you being the crazy guy you are, you understand. But we're good. I'd shake on it, but.. you know, the strait jacket, so.. Anyway, guards!
The guards come back inside and escort Greenfever out, holding the Hardcore Title for him.
Zach Davis: So... Greenfever is the Hardcore Champion now!?
Shannan Lerch: Apparently so! Very smart of Seth to ease things over with a compromise.
Zach Davis: We'll see how this turns out.
Jay Price vs Anastasia Petrova
Gunshots echo throughout the arena as the lights begin to flicker on and off. Get Down On The Ground by Gillie Da Kid begins playing as the crowd raises, the majority booing however there are always scattered cheers for some reason.
Zach Davis: Here comes the challenger!
Once the bass starts to hit the arena, Price emerges from the backstage wearing a red Phillies fitted cap, a white beater, black shorts and black boots. Price stands for a moment looking around at the crowd with a smirk on his face, almost as if he's amused by the boos that he is recieving. Once he begins to walk down the ramp to the ring his expression changes dramatically to that of a focused individual, an expression he will have until the end of the match. He climbs up the ring steps slowly, studying his opponent, and climbs under the top rope never breaking eye contact. Once in the ring Price proceeds to take off his fitted and hangs it on the ring post behind him, followed by the white beater which he carelessly throws into the crowd, even though they always throw it back onto the floor. Price will then wait in the corner, cracking his knuckles and studying his opponent, until the referee rings for the bell.
Shannan Lerch: Next up.. the Television Champ.
Na Rasputye by Kipelov plays and the lights turn red as Anastasia Petrova prances about the stage. She goes to the ring and says hi to the fans and blows them kisses while shaking her booty!
Zach Davis: Petrova has held that belt pretty well the last few weeks but Jay Price is her toughest challenger yet. Let's see how this goes.
The two lock up in the middle of the ring. Price puts her in a headlock, but she pushes him into the nearest turnbuckle and hits him with several punches to the gut. She gets out of the headlock and follows up with a kick to Price's gut. She then steps back and is about to run into him, but as she does he moves, causing her to crash into the turnbuckle. As she stumbles backwards, Price grabs her and hits an Inverted Headlock Backbreaker! Petrova drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Great move by Price, Petrova was smart to get out of there and recover.
But Price doesn't let up. He slides out of the ring and as Petrova is getting up, grabs her and hits a Snap DDT!
Zach Davis: Ouch! Right on the cold hard cement outside... this isn't good for Anastasia at all.
Price rolls Petrova into the ring and then covers her, hooking the leg.
No! Petrova kicks out.
Shannan Lerch: She stays alive! I don't know how, but she does!
Price locks Petrova in a Chinlock. After several moments the crowd starts getting on Petrova's side, chanting her name and clapping for her. She hears them and starts working her way up to her feet. Jay Price is unhappy about this and it shows on his face, but once Petrova is up she jabs Price in the gut several times. Once she's free of the hold she Headbutts Price, sending him reeling backwards. He turns back around and she DDTs him to the mat! She falls on top of him, pinning him.
Kickout by Price.
Zach Davis: Not quite a pinfall, but at least Anastasia is back in the match.
Both Petrova and Price lay on the mat for several moments, catching their breath. Slowly, Petrova gets to her feet. Price is getting up as well, and she sends him to the ropes. As he comes back she hits a Drop Toe Hold, and Price falls onto the ring ropes, set up for the 619. Petrova runs against the opposite ropes, bounces, runs back towards Price, and then hits the move!
Shannan Lerch: Petrova with a 619! She's more than back in the match, she's doing well!
Price bounces back and to the mat. Petrova jumps and springboards over the rope, hitting a Springboard Leg Drop! She pins Jay Price once more, hooking the leg!
NO! Price kicks out again!
Zach Davis: CLOSE! So close!
Anastasia gets up, mad she didn't get the pin. She's arguing with the ref for a second before Price rolls her up from behind! The ref makes the count!
NO! Petrova kicks out!
Shannan Lerch: So many nearfalls in this match! Price really wants the Television Title and Petrova really wants to retain!
Both Petrova and Price get to their feet. Price goes for a Clothesline, Petrova ducks it and hits an RKO!!
Zach Davis: The Cold War!! This has to be it!!
She pins Jay Price one more time!
Shannan Lerch: No!! Jay Price managed to kick out again!
Zach Davis: I don't believe it, Shannan!
Petrova gets up and again begins arguing with the ref. She turns back around to Price, picking him up and grabbing his head.
Shannan Lerch: She's gonna go for the Rasputin!
But Price quickly runs, pushing her and ramming her into a turnbuckle. Price backs up, runs at her and hits a running knee to the head! He backs up, she stumbles forward.... and he hits the Busted Grill!!
Zach Davis: That's it! That's Price's move!
Shannan Lerch: But is it enough to keep Petrova down!?
Jay Price, without missing a beat, jumps up to the top rope, his back turned to the prone Anastasia Petrova... and flies off with a Moonsault!
Zach Davis: The WTF Maneuver! Oh my God!
This results in a pin!
Shannan Lerch: Anastasia couldn't kick out! There it is!
Zach Davis: New Television Champion!
Price's music hits as he stands up, a cocky smirk on his face. The referee hands him the Television Title as Petrova rolls out of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Well, at War, Petrova gets a chance to win her Title back as she faces Price AND Hot Johnny Hott.
Price holds his Television Title high in the air to a chorus of booing before he slides out of the ring and heads to the back.
Anthrax/Ryan Daniels vs Logan/Hector Rodriguez vs Greenfever/Craig Jacobs vs The Big Time Jerks
Zach Davis: And now for our huge four way, eight man tag match!
The lights flicker on and off and Metallica's Cyanide kicks through the airwaves. Anthrax steps outs through the smoke but stops on the edge of the ramp. Colton stands with him and both men do the same taunt; both hands in the air with a very mean face. Colt leads Anthrax down the ramp and into the ring. Colton makes sure everyone knows that Anthrax is here to fight.
Shannan Lerch: Here is Anthrax, new member of the T.O.T... and next up is his T.O.T. partner.
Voice: Welcome to Hollywood, may all your dreams come true
The suspenceful tone of the intro plays as the violins set the lets to flicker red.
"WE MUST SURVIVE!"
Guitars hits and the crowd is on their feet and pyro rains down on the entrance ramp and Ryan Daniels emerges from the back with a random T-shirt on he stands underneath the pyro, his head bowed as the intro continues to play. After it finishes the pyro stops and Ryan walks down the ramp
This is a wake up call
To all who their eyes
This is our hope,
Hopeless beaten strife
HE stops at the middle and starts to hop up and down, getting himself hyped up and ready for his match.
You kill the messenger not to hear it
It doesn't mean it never happened
It doesn't mean it never happened
He runs up the ring steps and slingshots into the ring. HE runs up the turnbuckles and stop, one foot on the top buckle and the other on the second he points out tot he crowd, mouthing the chorus to the song.
"This is our mission
statement to go show the world
GO SHOW THE WORLD
We must survive"
HE hops off the turnbuckle and removes his shirt as the music starts to fade out.
Zach Davis: Ryan Daniels, who is looking for winz.
A drum beat rolls, it rolls, it rolls, it beats and echoes dying to make the fans ears bleed. Say Anything "Chia-Like, I Shall Grow" BLASTS the speakers. The crowd explode cheering the bastard they love to hate, the Face of Treachery, Logan. He pops out from behind the black curtains just as ecstatic as the crowd, jumping in place, happily soaking in the energy from the audience, and then.. he takes off in a focused march down the ramp way. Taking advantage of the ring steps, Logan climbs up them and enters the ring stepping through the middle rope. Logan climbs the rings turnbuckle, his eyes scanning the audience who anticipate what's next.. he throws both arms high in the air, on que, the crowd screams and does so as well. Letting his arms slowly fall to his sides, Logan hops off the turnbuckle and his theme music cuts.
Shannan Lerch: LOOGAANN!
Zach Davis: The man who should be the US Champion by all rights... he beat Greenfever last week, let's see how he can do this week.
Gasolina by Daddy Yankee starts playing and a Hispanic man comes walking out from the back wearing a business suit and his hair slicked back. He points to the entrance as a man wearing a mask comes walking out. It's Hector Rodriguez. Hector stands at the top of the ramp and looks out at the crowd as they cheer him on a little. His manager, Carlos Estrada, walks down the ramp ahead of him and then they climb up the ring steps and enter the ring. Hector walks to each side of the ring and raises an arm up in respect to the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: And Logan's partner, Hector Rodriguez. An interesting pair, to say the least.
The lights drop inside the arena as "Run Rabbit Run" by Rob Zombie begins over the P.A. system. As the first verse kicks in Greenfever emerges from the darkness. His face and hands are dripping fresh blood. His clothes are covered in bloodstains. Some of them are old, some are brand new.
Zach Davis: Greenfever, the new Hardcore Champion. Bizarre.
The house lights begin to dim down as "Rain Wizard" by Black Stone Cherry starts to play.
"HERE COMES THE RAIN!"
Craig Jacobs steps from out behind the curtain. Looking out into the crowd, he begins to walk towards the ring, slapping any hands that appear in front of him. When Craig reaches the ring, he runs and hops up onto the ring apron, entering the ring through the middle ropes. He backs into a corner and waits for anything that might head towards his way.
Shannan Lerch: Greenfever and Jacobs sure will be an interesting team...
The arena lights go out and the jumbotron reads BTJ in silver letters. "Our House" by Burn Halo hits and huge bursts of pyro burst from under the stage up. Out walk Adam and Austin in black BTJ t-shirts. They walk to the ring with Ice glares.
Zach Davis: And the only real tag team in this match, the Big Time Jerks. Let's see how this goes.
The bell rings! Each team discusses who they want to start for their team. Eventually, apparently out of respect, Hector lets Logan start. Greenfever starts for his, Anthrax for his, and Adam Young from the Big Time Jerks.
Shannan Lerch: We've got four guys in the ring, how is this gonna play out?
Greenfever, of course, instantly runs for Logan. He tackles Logan down and starts hitting him with rights and lefts.
Zach Davis: I think Greenfever wants revenge for Logan beating him with that strait jacket last week!
Shannan Lerch: I still don't know why the ref let Logan do that, but I'm not complaining.
Anthrax ties up with Young. Young gets the advantage and throws Anthrax to the ropes, and then hits a Spinning Toe Hold, and turns that into a Boston Crab!
Zach Davis: Right into the submission!
Meanwhile, Logan is up from Greenfever's beating. Greenfever kicks him in the gut and pushes him into the turnbuckle, then climbs up and hits a few punches... before biting him ala Hulk Hogan. The crowd boos and Greenfever simply laughs. But Logan grabs Greenfever and reverses it into an Atomic Drop!
Shannan Lerch: Good comeback by Logan here!
Logan proceeds to take Greenfever down with a big Clothesline. He then turns to Anthrax, who is still in the Boston Crab. Logan grabs Adam Young, throws him out of the ring, and immediately starts kicking at Anthrax as the crowd roars!
Zach Davis: Logan must view the Team of Torture as spitting on his legacy... I don't envy Daniels and Anthrax in this match.
Shannan Lerch: You might remember, Anthrax made his WCF debut against Logan, in fact!
Logan kicks at Anthrax several times until picking Anthrax to his feet, throws him to the ropes, and then catches him and hits a huge Belly to Belly Suplex! Anthrax stumbles to his feet again, but now Greenfever comes behind him and grabs him. Greenfever holds Logan still while Anthrax shakes off the cobwebs and then starts hitting Logan with lefts and rights.
Zach Davis: Uh oh... Logan's list of enemies has caught up to him.
Greenfever tosses Logan to Anthrax, who hits him with a Snap Suplex. As soon as he's done, however, Greenfever grabs him from behind and executes a Russian Legsweep!
Shannan Lerch: Definitely can't trust that guy.
And from behind Greenfever comes Adam Young! Young grabs him and locks in a Sleeper before taking him over to Austin Adams and tagging him in.
Zach Davis: BTJs with the quick tags.
Adams hits Greenfever several times right in the gut before following up with a Sitout Powerbomb!
Anthrax breaks it up.
Shannan Lerch: Not quite this time.
Meanwhile, Logan has tagged in Hector Rodriguez! Rodriguez comes in with a head of steam, Clotheslines Austin Adams down, then Anthrax. Turns back to Adams, hits him with a Big Boot!, Anthrax is up, runs at him, Clothesline From Hell!
Zach Davis: Hector Rodriguez is clearing house!
Greenfever is up now. Hector grabs him and puts him in a Bearhug!, but this allows Greenfever to reach across the ring and tag in his partner Craig Jacobs. Jacobs gets in and immediately clubs Hector from behind, breaking up the Bearhug. Hector turns around, and Craig throws him to the ropes, runs at him, and hits a Spear! Hector doesn't go down, instead stumbling backwards a few steps!
Shannan Lerch: Hector IS a powerhouse, wow! Even that Spear didn't take him down..
Jacobs is unrelenting, though, and kicks Hector in the gut, doubling him over. Jacobs hits a DDT!
Zach Davis: THAT did it, though!
Jacobs gets up, and immediately is met with an attack from behind from Austin Adams. Adams hits him several times, turns him around, and grabs his throat. The crowd is on their feet in anticipation.
Shannan Lerch: Everyone loves a good Chokeslam!..
But Anthrax has tagged in Ryan Daniels! Daniels runs at Adams, but also is met with a kick to the gut. Adams grabs Daniels' throat too!
Zach Davis: What's this!? What amazing power!
Adams picks both men up for a Double Chokeslam! The crowd roars, and he's about to make a pin, until Anthrax reenters the ring and Clotheslines Adams down from behind! The crowd boos, and in comes Adam Young. Which, of course, brings in Logan. Soon everyone in the match is in the ring at once!
Shannan Lerch: Oh my God! What is going on!?
Zach Davis: This is chaos!
Shannan Lerch: This is what War is going to be like one week from today, Zach!
Greenfever and Logan are brawling, Daniels and Jacobs are down, Anthrax and Young, and Adams and Hector are all brawling! The ref is yelling at everyone, trying to restore order. Eventually after several moments Greenfever Clotheslines Logan over the top, with both men toppling to the floor. Anthrax has Young on the defensive, Young goes for a Clothesline and Anthrax ducks it, hits the Lethalizer!, Young rolls out of the ring and Anthrax follows him. Daniels, Jacobs, Hector and Austin Adams are left in the ring and order is restored.
Zach Davis: Well that was crazy.
Daniels is up, as is Jacobs. Daniels turns towards him and hits several stiff shots to the head before hitting him with several Muy Thai kicks... and then a huge Brainbuster out of nowhere!
Shannan Lerch: Acid Trip!
Daniels quickly pins Jacobs, hooking his leg!
Hector breaks it up!
Zach Davis: The T.O.T. almost had it won!
Hector picks Daniels up and puts him in a Headlock before tagging Logan back in. Logan gets in and hits a few shots to Daniels before lifting him up in the Electric Chair position, and motioning towards Hector.
Shannan Lerch: Are Logan and Hector actually hitting a tag team move?
Hector climbs to the top rope.... the crowd is on their feet... Hector flies off with a Clothesline while Daniels was on Logan's shoulders!
Zach Davis: Doomsday Device! Oh my God!
Daniels hits the mat with a thud. Logan quickly pins him!
Hector stops Adams from kicking Logan off!..
But Jacobs grabs Logan and throws him off, breaking up the pin.
Shannan Lerch: SO close after that great double team move.
Jacobs then tags Greenfever back into the match. Greenfever runs in with a head of steam, Clotheslining Hector over the top rope. Logan runs at him, goes for a Clothesline, Greenfever ducks it. Greenfever goes for a Deathdrop, but Logan elbows him in the gut and pushes him away. Greenfever runs at Logan now and Logan grabs him and wraps him in a Sleeper...
Zach Davis: Logan's going for the Connector!
But Greenfever rams his back into the turnbuckle, crushing Logan! Logan drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Adams runs at Greenfever, and Greenfever tosses Adams out of the ring. He now turns to Daniels, who just got up.. kicks him and hits the Dislocated Piledriver!! The crowd boos as Greenfever pins Daniels!
Craig Jacobs gets in the ring..
Jacobs starts brawling with Adam Young who got into the ring to break it up..
Shannan Lerch: Greenfever and Craig Jacobs get the win!!
On the outside, Logan and Hector realize what happened, looking around angrily. The ref raises Jacobs and Greenfevers' arms... and afterwards Greenfever viciously Clotheslines Jacobs to the mat! He starts kicking him repeatedly afterwards, and kicks him out of the ring. Greenfever grabs his Hardcore Title and raises his arms in the air to booing.
Zach Davis: Greenfever has to be the worst guy to tag with ever.
And Master of Puppets plays.
Shannan Lerch: Say it with me, everyone... "uh oh, here comes Seth Lerch!"
Seth steps out, a huge grin on his face. He has a mic.
Seth Lerch: Well, it looks like I did a good job giving Greenfever the Hardcore Title. What a wonderful Champion! Give it up for Greenfever, everyone!
The crowd boos. Greenfever's security escorts are heading to the ring as Seth talks.
Seth Lerch: You defeated Logan and Hector for me, wonderful. And Hector? How disappointing! Deciding to ally yourself with Logan? Trying to become more than just some random pairing, and actually work with the guy? Trust me, it doesn't pay off. One, he'll turn his back on you to get his way faster than you can say "hot dog." Or, "el hot doggo" or however you say it. Two, now you've incurred my wrath. I've never really liked you to begin with for whatever reason, but mark my words: at War, I have someone that will be gunning for you. The man that, back at Revenge, I announced would be returning. That was in your match, Hector. He may not have been able to show up last week, or the week before that, but I guarantee he'll be at War! And he'll eliminate you, Hector! And you, Logan!
Greenfever's security escort has had Greenfever taken out of the ring and they're taking him to the back. The other participants in the match are leaving also, except for Logan and Hector, who have entered the ring now. Logan has a mic.
Logan: Seth, I'm a TWO TIME War winner. Everyone seems to have forgotten that. Everyone's talking about Johnny Boudle, Boudle T, Boudlami.. and everyone's forgotten about the Face of Treachery!
The crowd cheers Logan on; Seth looks dismayed.
Logan: And Seth, when you signed me back, we were still "friends." Don't you remember? I have a rematch clause for Titles, Seth. And since you took my US Title from me... I WANT A REMATCH!
The crowd pops! A look of fear crosses Seth's face.
Seth Lerch: Logan.. ergh.. FINE! I beat you once, you washed up loser, and I'll do it again! And my returning star will take care of BOTH of you in the War match!
Frustrated, Seth heads to the back. Happy with having angered Seth and gotten his US Title rematch, Logan smiles and leaves with Hector Rodriguez.
Zach Davis: It DOES seem like Logan and Hector have an alliance going. Can Seth's mystery man beat them?
Shannan Lerch: We'll see at War!
Truth Addiction vs The Superfans
Kyle Steel: The following contest is a steel cage match, where the only way to win is by escaping over the top of the cage, and it is for the WCF Tag Team Championships! First, the challengers!
Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf hits the airwaves and the crowd pops mildly. Chris Avery comes out from behind the curtain with his hoodie on over his head. He's looking down and hopping around but he stops with both his hands together in front of him. Through the smoke comes Tank Reaper walking right up behind him and stops.
Kyle Steel: At a total combined weight of five-hundred and twenty-five pounds, they are the number one contenders, Chris Avery and Tank Reaper, TRUTH ADDICTION!
As the music continues to play, Avery spreads out one arm in unison with a huge gold firework. He stretches out the other arm with another huge gold firework. Then Tank raises both arms in the air with the third and final bang as the firework explodes into the air and the smoke clears. With that third firework, Avery flashes his head up and the hoodie slides off and both men begin to high five the fans as they jog their way down to the ring. Avery slides in first and jumps on to the nearest ring corner. He spreads out his arms then folds them together. Tank steps over the top rope and just raises both arms in the air and the crowd pops just a little more. Avery takes off his sweatshirt and both men prepare for the match.
Kyle Steel: And their opponents!
Shannan Lerch: Who is it this week? I have to know!
Muse by Hysteria begins to play over the PA system, and the crowd pops, but it quickly fades out. The white strobe lights briefly flash over to the stage, slowly illuminating it, but everything goes black.
And then it can be heard: a drum beat, a second, and finally a guitar riff, which repeats, while a green wavelength appears over the camera, followed by three voices coming over the PA system, saying:
PA: BREAK IT DOWN!
Kyle Steel: They are the reigning WCF Tag Team Champions!
The crowd does everything in its power to not spontaneously combust as the D-Generation X theme “Break It Down” blasts over the PA system. The lights turn green, and flash throughout the crowd. Over the camera, flashes of the crowd are replaced by different images. The first image that briefly flashes: a crowd of people charging a door with the Superfans emblem on it. The second is a shot of the Superfans imitating Hall and Nash at the 2009 Pro-Wrestling Convention. The third is a scantily-clad Tiffany Jane popping out of a blue and yellow cake.
The green wavelength appears again, and then another image pops up. This next image depicts Mark and Marc coming out as the Hart Foundation. A following image shows Marc and Mark holding their WCF Tag Team Championships high up in the air. After that, the image of Marc and Mark hitting the Marc Out appears. The last image across the screen is an explosion, with the dust culminating in the shape of an S.
Zach Davis: This crowd is going absolutely insane! Listen to these people, and the Superfans haven’t even come out yet!
True to the words, the crowd is eating up every second of the theme song and the video on the tron. After a few more seconds, three figures step out of the gorilla position and onto the stage. The first is a man wearing short black trunks with the DX logo on the front and back, a DX sleeveless t-shirt and a blonde wig. It’s Mark! He has his WCF Tag Team Championship around his waist as he spits some water into the air. The second figure jogs excitedly around Mark, wearing a DX t-shirt, a long brown-haired wig, the DX cowboy hat, and some loose leather pants with DX logos everywhere. It’s Marc! They both raise their arms in the famous X, and then point toward the gorilla position as Tiffany Jane makes her way. She is wearing a short black skirt and a bright green tube top with the DX logo on it.
Kyle Steel: Being accompanied to the ring by Tiffany Jane, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, they weigh in tonight at a total-combined-weight of three-hundred and ninety-six pounds, the Superfans!
All three make their way to the ring, constantly high fiving fans and doing the X with their arms. Mark and Marc enter the ring rather quickly, and following fast behind is Tiffany Jane, who does her trademark backward scissors-kick over the top rope. Mark and Marc take positions in the ring, face the camera, and do four crotch chops as the pyrotechnics go off immediately after each. The crowd has not yet died down one bit, and fans are trying their hardest to not rush the ring and embrace the Superfans. After the pyrotechnics die down, Mark and Marc hit the classic DX pose. Then, Mark grabs a microphone from the ring announcer, Kyle Steel, and takes a deep breath, soaking the cheers in again.
Mark: Are... you... ready?
The crowd pops again, screaming, yelling, and chanting along. Mark climbs the turnbuckle and speaks again with intensity.
Mark: I said, ARE YOU READY!?
The crowd continues to scream and cheer for the Superfans.
Shannan Lerch: The fans are eating this up, Zach. Listen to these people!
Mark gets down off of the turnbuckle and stands beside Marc and Tiffany Jane.
Mark: Then. For the thousands in attendance and for the millions watching their television screens at home, and for Tiffany Jane, because today is her birthday... Lllllllllllllllllllllllllets-get-ready-to-suck-it!
The crowd cheers along with Mark, and a small “She-Is-Hot!” chant starts up. Mark passes the stick to Marc, who takes it excitedly.
Marc: And if you’re not down with that, we’ve got two words for ya’!
Marc lifts the microphone high in the air as the crowd chants “Suck it!”
Shannan Lerch: These fans cannot help but love the Superfans, Zach! And I can understand why!
Zach Davis: It’s amazing, simply amazing! They put so much energy, time, and research into these teams each week! I always want to know who they will be week in and week out, but I like the surprises better!
Kyle Steel exits the ring as the steel cage comes down from the rafters. After giving her boys a quick peck on the cheek, Tiffany Jane carries the Superfans titles out of the ring. Truth Addiction and the Superfans eye each other for some time, awaiting the steel cage to be fully lowered and locked. After a minute, the steel cage is all the way down, the four men trapped inside.
Shannan Lerch: Now, for you folks at home, I’d like to point out that WCF regulations have taken the doors off of the steel cage. Here at WCF, we don’t know why there are cage doors, so we have taken them out and the true only way to win is for both members of the team to get over the cage walls.
The time keeper hits the bell three times in succession, and all four men charge at the other. Mark and Marc charge Chris Avery and Tank Reaper, and after one clothesline and one spinning heel kick, only two men are still standing: Marc and Tank Reaper. Marc taunts Tank with a crotch chop which causes Tank to charge him. But Marc ducks under his clothesline and clips his knee, taking the big man down. Marc then quickly begins stomping at Tank’s knee and shin, hoping to cripple the giant.
Zach Davis: An intense start to the match, with Mark getting hit by Tank Reaper’s clothesline and Marc taking out Chris Avery with a lightning fast spinning heel kick! Tank went to hit Marc with a clothesline, but Marc has managed to make this match look too easy. Oh wait, Chris Avery is back up!
Chris Avery is indeed back up, and grabs Marc by the hair. At least, he thought he did. Marc’s “hair” falls off, and Marc takes advantage of this situation and grabs Chris Avery and angrily tosses him into the cage. Marc then picks his wig back up and puts it atop his head again. Marc crotch chops at Chris Avery, and turns around into a big boot from the angry Tank Reaper!
Shannan Lerch: What a boot! That’s going to leave a mark!
Zach Davis: We really gotta stop with those puns, Shannan...
Tank Reaper screams out in rage and begins doing a few pelvic thrusts. He grabs Marc by the shoulders, brings him to his feet, and then scoops him up, looking for a slam. Mark gets up just in time to see Marc on Tank’s shoulders, and clips Tank’s leg again. Tank loses his balance as he goes to slam Marc, and Tank nearly falls over, but with a stroke of luck Tank regains his footing. Tank slams Marc down with authority, and Mark flies off of the ropes with a high knee just in time to connect with Tank’s face. Tank takes the hit on the chin, but doesn’t fall over. Mark bounces off the ropes again, and again hits a high knee. Tank gets closer, but still doesn’t fall over. Mark bounces off the ropes a third time, and as he is about to leap for the high knee, Chris Avery appears out of nowhere and hits a devastating spear!
Shannan Lerch: An incredible spear by Chris Avery! Pure devastation!
Zach Davis: Truth Addiction looks to be in control for the moment, and Tiffany Jane is not happy! But if she were over here, I’d be pretty happy...
Shannan Lerch: You really are horrible, you know.
Tank Reaper and Chris Avery look at each other and high five, and then gesture to the crowd. Chris Avery is heard saying “These guys are nothing! I’m your true savior!” Tank Reaper mocks the crotch chop, and picks Mark up. Chris Avery approaches Marc’s fallen body, but Marc retaliates and drop toe holds Avery into the steel cage. Marc runs and bounces off the ropes, and then dropkicks Chris Avery’s face further into the steel.
Zach Davis: Chris Avery is literally eating some of the steel cage right now.
Shannan Lerch: With any more force he might’ve been dropkicked through the cage!
Tank lifts Mark up and begins gorilla pressing him. Marc, seeing this, dropkicks Tank in the back, but Tank shrugs it off and starts turning around. Marc, a little agitated, runs off the ropes and hits a running dropkick, connecting straight with Tank’s jaw line. Tank doesn’t falter though, and continues to gorilla press Mark. Mark screams out something nearly incomprehensible and Marc nods in approval. Marc, with a good foot in height lost to the big man, springboards off the ropes, spins, and connects with a Pele kick to the back of Tank’s head, and Tank falls down, with Mark falling on top of him. The crowd goes wild for the maneuver.
Zach Davis: A springboard Pele Kick! Holy hell!
Shannan Lerch: I think that was actually a springboard Cheap Pop, Zach.
Mark climbs off of Tank Reaper and notices Chris Avery attempting to climb the cage in all of this madness. Mark grabs Avery’s ankle and begins pulling him down. Avery kicks and tries to fight it, but slowly starts coming back down. Mark climbs up and meets Chris Avery, and they begin trading blows while balancing on the top rope. Marc, on the mat after hitting a springboard Cheap Pop, kips up. Marc sees his partner fighting with Avery, sees Tank on the ground, and begins climbing the turnbuckle. Marc flies off the top rope with an elbow drop, and follows it up with a standing shooting star press. At the same time, Chris Avery kicks Mark’s legging out from under him and Mark is crotched on the top rope! Chris Avery flies off the top rope, looking for a Lariat, and it connects onto Marc! Mark, crotched on the top rope, finally falls over and onto the mat.
Shannan Lerch: A vicious flying lariat by Chris Avery! I think it took everything out of him! All four men are down!
Zach Davis: Getting excited, Shannan? Eh, eh?
Shannan Lerch: ...Shut up, Zach, this match has been great so far. So what if I’m a little excited.
All four men are down. The first to begin stirring up is Chris Avery, and he immediately goes back to climbing the cage walls. Mark, getting up, runs up the turnbuckle and starts taking the fight back to Chris Avery, again both men balancing upon the top rope. Marc starts slowly getting up, at the same time as Tank Reaper, who has taken some punishment. Marc goes to the corner, acknowledges the crowd, and begins stomping his foot.
Shannan Lerch: Marc is tuning up the band! Is he looking for Sweet Chin Music on Tank Reaper?
Chris Avery attempts to knock Mark off balance again, looking to sweep his legs. However Mark avoids it and punches Avery right in the gut. Mark grabs Chris Avery’s arms, and begins to prepare for the Swerve, but Chris Avery struggles out of it, springboards off the top rope, and dives at Marc hoping to hit another flying lariat on him! Marc sees him coming, though, and with impeccable timing connects with Sweet Chin Music on Chris Avery!
Zach Davis: Holy crap, what impact! Avery jumped right into some Sweet Chin Music!
But Tank Reaper is up, and right behind Marc. Marc does a few crotch chops over Chris Avery, the competition getting the better of him. Tank Reaper smiles as he taps Marc on the shoulder.
Shannan Lerch: Marc could be in for a world of trouble right here, folks. Tank is right behind him, and pretty ticked off.
Marc slowly turns around, and nearly goes white as he realizes who is behind him. Marc goes to bounce off the ropes, but Tank grabs him by the neck! Mark, nearing the top of the cage, looks back just in time to see Tank lifting up Marc. Mark, not one to leave his brother behind, climbs to the top of the cage and jumps off!
Shannan Lerch: MARK! You were so close!
Mark flies off of the top of the cage, grabs Tank by the head, and brings him down in an Edge-O-Matic fashion.
Zach Davis: What a maneuver! That kind of impact could drive a man to insanity!
Shannan Lerch: Please don’t give me nightmares.
Mark and Tank are barely moving, but Marc is. Marc goes over to his fallen partner and checks on him, making sure he is okay.
Zach Davis: It’s all up to you, Marc! You can win this match right now!
Marc looks around the ring and notices that Mark, Tank Reaper, and Chris Avery are all down on the mat. Marc looks up to the top of the cage, and hears the roar of the crowds. “Marc! Marc! Marc! Marc!” Marc puts a boot to Tank, and one to Chris Avery, and then begins climbing the cage.
Shannan Lerch: Yes, Marc! Climb the cage! You can do this! It’s so close!
Tiffany Jane can be seen, encouraging Marc to climb faster and faster. Marc, watching Tiffany Jane, then gets a worried look on his face. Tiffany Jane points back in the ring, to Chris Avery is starting to get up. Tank is still down, and Mark is slowly getting up. Chris Avery stalks Mark, unaware of Marc’s position. Chris Avery boots Mark in the stomach, and prepares for the Lie Detector.
Zach Davis: Lie Detector! Is Avery looking to get some revenge for their previous encounter?
Shannan Lerch: We do indeed need to stop the terrible puns, Zach...
Avery attempts the Lie Detector once, but Mark doesn’t budge. Avery tries it again, but Mark still doesn’t budge. Avery lifts up Mark, and punches him in the face. Avery goes for another, but Mark ducks behind him and swiftly connects with a spinning Unprettier.
Shannan Lerch: The Swerve! Avery and Mark are down, and Tank still hasn’t budged an inch!
Marc has finally climbed to the top of the cage. He looks around, and sees that the floor is only a small drop away. He looks back, catching the final moments of the Swerve hitting Chris Avery. Marc notices something, and an idea hits him. Marc turns around, faces the crowd, and makes a signal.
Zach Davis: He’s not thinking about... you know...
Shannan Lerch: No, Marc, don’t do it!
Without a moment’s hesitation or a second thought, Marc flies off the top of the cage with a moonsault leg drop. Mark connects his Spoiler Alert on to Chris Avery! Marc holds himself in pain after the landing, and Mark checks on Marc. Tank Reaper beings to get up, but Mark catches him just in time. Mark kicks Tank in the stomach, and tries to set up the Pedigree!
Zach Davis: Pedigree time! This might just be the end for Truth Addiction!
Mark tries and tries, but he can’t force Tank into position for the Pedigree. Tank throws Mark off of him, right into a turnbuckle. Tank charges, and connects with a big clothesline.
Shannan Lerch: Is Tank going for the Bone Crusher?!
Zach Davis: Well, he’s already started up, so I think he is.
Mark sits in the corner, barely moving, but Tank decides that a second charge is a good idea, and charges again. Mark ducks this one this time and Tank flies into the cage wall! Tank is stunned and busted wide open by this, but still not on the ground. Mark kicks Tank in the nuts this time, does a crotch chop, and finally connects with a Pedigree!
Shannan Lerch: Pedigree! Mark hits the Pedigree!
Zach Davis: That may be true, Shannan, but all four men are down! This is anyone’s ballgame!
All four men are down for a few moments, but Mark slowly makes his way to his feet. He looks at the fallen Tank Reaper, who was the victim of a Tribute Pedigree, and to his brother, Marc, who is still holding himself after the impact of the Spoiler Alert from the top of the cage. Chris Avery is nearly knocked out, and hasn’t moved for a good few minutes. Mark runs to his partner, assists him up, and points him up the cage. Marc instinctively begins climbing, and Mark stays down to make sure Marc makes his way up. As Marc gets close, Chris Avery begins to stir, but Mark grabs him and quickly Pedigrees him.
Shannan Lerch: A vicious tribute Pedigree to Chris Avery
Marc finally gets to the top, and Mark himself begins climbing.
Zach Davis: With Marc up top, all Mark needs to do is climb up and this match is theirs! Is this the end?
With Tank and Chris Avery down, Mark makes it up with relative ease. Mark and Marc, at opposite corners of the cage, raise their arms high and do a crotch chop while on top of the cage, and then climb down the side of the cage. Marc and Mark have escaped! The bell rings three times.
Shannan Lerch: The Superfans have done it again! Listen to this crowd roar for their WCF Tag Team Champions!
Zach Davis: Can anyone stop this team, or are they really “even better than the real thing”?
The cage begins to rise slowly as Tank Reaper stirs to get up, holding his bloody face in pain. Tank moves to Chris Avery, and assists him up, making sure he is okay. Mark and Marc, now being held by Tiffany Jane, collect their Tag Team Championships and raise them high.
Zach Davis: The Superfans showing Truth Addiction what they couldn’t achieve yet again. Wait, what is this?
The Superfans, along with Tiffany Jane, slide into the ring. Tank and Avery take defensive positions, readying for a fight. However, Mark holds his hand out, offering a handshake.
Shannan Lerch: Mark’s offering for a handshake! That is some true sportsmanship right there! A class act all the way!
Marc also offers his hand to Truth Addiction, and without too much thought Avery and Tank shake the Superfans hands. Mark and Marc raise Truth Addictions hands high, letting the crowd roar for their fallen foes.
Zach Davis: A true sign of respect, especially since all the Superfans want to do is entertain. And I think this crowd really was entertained, I know I was Shannan!
Shannan Lerch: You were entertained by Tiffany Jane, to be sure...
All four competitors and Tiffany Jane as well, all have their hands raised high. The crowd is roaring for the men, and woman, and smiles are across the faces of all five.
And then Marc superkicks Chris Avery.
Zach Davis: What the hell was that for!?
Tank, not realizing what happened until it was too late, gets hit with a low blow by Tiffany Jane, followed by a Pedigree from Mark. Mark then picks up Chris Avery into a power bomb position, Marc springboards off the top rope, and they hit Chris Avery with the Marc Out!
Shannan Lerch: Marc Out! What is this, why are they doing this?
The Superfans stand over the surprised, stunned, and beaten bodies of their opponents. And in sync, all three do crotch chops to Truth Addiction, and raise their hands up high. Tiffany Jane grins with an air of evil as Mark and Marc smile at their handy-work. Hysteria by Muse kicks up over the PA system as The Superfans, accompanied by Tiffany Jane, leave the ring. They walk up to the ramp, look back, and smile again. Mark grabs a microphone.
Mark: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. The winners of the match, and still your WCF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The first, Marc, with a C, and his tag team partner, Mark, with a K! Accompanied by the lovely Tiffany Jane, they are the Superfans!
Mark passes the stick to his brother, Marc.
Marc: And if you’re not down with that!
Suddenly, Marc pauses and takes a deep breath.
Marc: Just remember. We are even better than the real thing.
Marc drops the microphone on the stage, and as it hits it screams static. The trio exits the stage as medics rush to check on Truth Addiction.
Creeping Death vs Martin Waverly Washington V/Justin Turner/Prince Jimmy Dean/Death
A large red curtain comes down from the roof of the arena, covering the Jumbotron and entrance, coming to a rest on the stage. Machine Head's cover of Iron Maiden's "Hallowed Be Thy Name" starts, and the lights go out. A spotlight comes on from behind the curtain, projecting a blackened figure standing on a see-through box. As the song kicks into gear, the curtain rises, revealing Creeping Death standing on a glass box with a hoodie on. He mythodically lowers his hood and drops off the box, heading down to the ring. A second spotlights hits the ring as CD approaches. CD simply slides into the ring by the near corner and swings his legs around into a sitting position against the bottom turnbuckle. He peels his hoodie off and drops it to the floor. This is where he sits until the match begins.
Shannan Lerch: We all know how Gauntlet Matches with CD go. Let's get on with this crap.
Zach Davis: I'm not so sure, Shannan. CD has some stiff competition. Death is literally a hundred pounds heavier. The other guys? Let's hope they leave with their lives at least.
Lo Fidelity Allstars, battleflag something or other hits, and MWWV comes out! As he slides into the ring, CD comes right up out of the corner and in with a raising knee to MWWV's face! Teeth fly everywhere!
Zach Davis: Gaaaaaahhhhhhh!
Washington crumbles to the mat. The bell rings. CD pins.
Shannan Lerch: Sigh.
WCF Damage Control take Washington away. The Lights in the arena go out. We see the flashs of cameras before the words "The Freak" are posted on the tron. After a moment "Matter Of Time" by HellYeah hits.
Can’t touch this, we rule it with a clenched fist,
On, top fuel with a death grip
Judged, by a weak little man with a pen in his hand and just doesn’t fucking get it
Own, couldn’t stop us if you wanted to
School, breaking knuckles with a ruler,
Done, no more, emergence, to dominate you
From the back comes out a confident Justin Turner. The fans raise to their feet and cheer as he makes his way down the ramp.
Run, hide, your time is coming
Hunt, find, walking a fine line
Run, hide, my time is coming
Hunt, find, it’s just a matter of time
Justin rolls under the bottom rope before posing for the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: Here's another young buck in WCF..
CD is just standing there behind Turner. Turner turns around all cockily and gets dismantled with a lariat, knocking him into a backflip!
Shannan Lerch: ... was in WCF ...
Creeping Death locks in "This Cold Black" and just rips Justin's arms out of their sockets! Within seconds he is screaming mercy. WCF Damage Control take Turner away.
Zach Davis: This is just hard to watch.
Creeping Death stands and awaits his next opponent. The lights go and Jerry "The King" beginnings of the music of Lawler that play. A single shines of the projector in a passageway and the empty Prince Force with crowbar to Dean is removed majestically in a golden car for two white horses. The multitude is silent in the admiration in the grandeur of the entrance. The prince Jimmy Dean is thrown around the ring while the multitude looks in silence on its car in the admiration. The leaves slowly of the carriage and elegantly walks in the ring and backups in the center as the alone shines of projector in it. The light goes and he expects his adversary to be approached.
Zach Davis: I don't really know what just happened but it's time for Prince Jimmy Dean!
CD shakes his head as Dean approaches. CD goes for a quick superkick but Dean rolls out of the ring and jumps on one of his horses!
Shannan Lerch: What in the world?
Prince Jimmy Dean seems satisfied with his exit, but not CD. He drops to the floor and Jeff Hardy's it onto the barricade, leaps off at Dean, and clears the horse!
Zach Davis: Zuh?
On his way over, CD grabs Dean and yanks him off the horse with a huge Diamond Cutter!
Shannan Lerch: I have seen it all.
CD rolls Dean into the ring and pins.
Zach Davis: The crowd doesn't really know what to think. They're going insane for CD's first match, but the sheer ridiculousness is astounding.
WCF Damage Control takes Dean away. "Fuel" by Metallica rages through the arena and the fans get on their feet to boo. Death takes a step out from the backstage area and looks out towards the arena. Absorbing the atmosphere of his continued comeback to wrestling in nearly five years. Death jaws to his opponent the entire time. Death reaches the base of the ring, grabs the top rope and pulls himself onto the apron. Staring at his opponent, Death walks to the turnbuckle on the outside, climbs up and throws his arms backwards, taunting to the crowd as red pyro goes off in the background on the stage. Death hops over the top rope and into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: And now the true test.
Death lunges at CD with a big boot, but CD ducks. CD rushes at Death and gets caught in a powerslam!
Zach Davis: Powerrrr!
CD slips out and into an inside cradle!
Death is fighting like a madman.. CD has it clinched in good..
Shannan Lerch: WHAT?!
CD releases the pin and quickly slides out of the ring before Death can get his hands on him again. Death is FURIOUS!
Zach Davis: What a break! CD destroys three guys and then quickly rolls up Death!
CD basically runs up the ramp backward, not letting his eye off Death in the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Not only that, but what kind of message does this send to Torture?!
Zach Davis: Creeping Death just defeated someone from the Team of Torture in a matter of SECONDS!
CD disappears to the back.
Johnny Reb/Doc Henry vs Mikami/Rick Mad vs Slickie T/D-Day
Zach Davis: Main event time!
Shannan Lerch: My favorite time of the night.
The opening chords of "Bad Company" by Bad Company filter through the arena. The stage and the surrounding area go dark. As the actual lyrics begin, blue lights illuminate a pair of figures: Johnny Reb and Dixie Pride.
Always on the run.
They both step out onto the ramp and the stage lights return to normal.
Is the rising sun.
Johnny’s appearance draws a mixed reaction from the crowd, largely of a negative variety.
I was born 6-gun in my hand,
Behind a gun, I make my final stand.
The Inveterate Confederate starts down the ramp, slowly, and pauses halfway down.
That's why they call me...
Suddenly, a fountain of pyros erupts behind him to coincide with the change in the song's tempo. Johnny raises his hands and lifts his head, making a beckoning motion, reveling in the crowd’s attentions, favorable or not.
Bad Company. And I can't deny,
Bad Company, til the day I die.
Reb lowers his arms and gives the dissenting fans a disdainful sneer.
Deserters we are called,
Chose a gun
And threw away the sun.
Johnny keeps walking toward the ring at a stately pace, ignoring taunts. Dixie remains at his side, casting the occasional insult back at an over exuberant dissident.
Now these towns,
They all know our name.
Is our claim to fame.
Reb walks up the steel steps and holds the ropes for Dixie. He stalks to the far corner and climbs onto the second turnbuckle, posing for the crowd.
I can hear them say..
Bad Company, and I won’t deny.
Bad. Bad Company, til the day I die.
Dixie works the crowd as Johnny hops off the turnbuckle and removes the hat and coat. The music fades away.
Zach Davis: Here is Johnny Reb. Former World Champion, made it through most of the WCF Championship Series with the belt... simply one of the best WCF has to offer.
Lights dim, to an orange glow as if at sunrise, as music starts.
With the main guitar riff, Doc enters the arena in a light haze.
As lyrics start, he slowly raises his head looking into the ring, raising his hands up for a slow pop. Lights fade up as he does this.
I wake up in the morning
And I raise my weary head
I got an old coat for a pillow
And the earth was last nights bed
Doc proceeds to the ring high fiving the crowd.
Only God knows where Ive been
Im a devil on the run
A six gun lover
A candle in the wind
Walking up the steps and ducks under the top rope. Pumping his fists and getting the crowd riled, he fist pumps facing all four sides.
When youre brought into this world
They say youre born in sin
Well at least they gave me something
I didnt have to steal or have to win
Well they tell me that Im wanted
Yeah Im a wanted man
Gallantly removes hat and saddle coat before extinguishing cigarette on ring post.
Im colt in your stable
Im what cain was to abel
Mister catch me if you can
Im going down in a blaze of glory...
Shannan Lerch: Doc Henry, Reb's long time rival and current associate.
The arena fades to black as a red, white, and green spotlights begin to circle the crowd and a red glow appears on the left side of the stage, a white glow in the middle, and a green glow on the right, as “Gravesend (Lake of Fire)” by Lordz of Brooklyn begins to blast over the speakers and the three lights come together in the center of the stage where Slickie T stands with his back turned to the crowd, his arms extended to form the shape of a “T”. He watches as the screen shows a roulette wheel spinning as the pill comes to settle on the green 00 space and the camera zooms in on the pill until the screen becomes completely white and then “Slickie T the Ace of Hardcore” scrolls across the screen in black in front of a waving Italian flag. Slickie then quickly turns as the pill settles in the 00 space and red, white, and green pyros explode behind him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with those who are reaching out to him. As he reaches the ring, he quickly climbs the ring stairs, looking out over the crowd before grabbing the top rope and vaulting over the top of it and into the middle of the ring. After glancing over the crowd with a thin smile on his face, he climbs a turnbuckle and throws his arms out once again to form a “T” before backflipping off the top turnbuckle and back into the middle of the ring as the lights come up once again.
Zach Davis: Slickie T! Former US Champion, the last man to enter War.. all eyes are on him right now.
Dead and Gone by T.I. ft Juston Timberlake plays in the speakers. The lights are dim.The lights flash on to D-Day walking out to the top of the ramp and falls on his knees and throws his arms in the air, as soon as he throws them in the air fire works go off and surround him. The screen shows all of D-Day moments of his dead and forgotten special move. As also the screen shows a ring then the words in white and in cursive, the words D-Day. When D-Day get in the ring he raises his hands to his name on the screen.
Shannan Lerch: D-Day, long time star here in WCF, still looking to make it big.
Evenflow by Pearl Jam hits, and Rick Mad steps out. The fans boo him as he walks to the ring, ignoring them. He slides in, climbs up a turnbuckle and poses as green pyro shoots from the other three turnbuckles.
Zach Davis: Rick Mad.. he's been partners with Torture, brainwashed by Jack of Blades, and now, the man behind Mikami. For some amount of time, anyway.
The End of Everything by Trivium hits and Mikami steps out.
Shannan Lerch: Speaking of, here is Mikami himself! But why isn't he in wrestling gear?
Mikami is, indeed, in street clothes. He looks towards Rick, who has a pleading look on his face.
Zach Davis: Well, we know Mikami told Rick that he'd decide between Rick and Carr at War, so maybe he isn't happy about this match?
Mikami simply gives Rick two double middle fingers, and walks back through the curtain. Rick's jaw drops.
Shannan Lerch: We ALSO know that Mikami is entirely focused on War, so not wanting to wrestle tonight... kinda smart.
Rick looks around at the other competitors, realizing he's screwed, panicking. He quickly grabs a mic.
Rick Mad: Zach! Zach, come on. Be my parter for tonight! You and me, together once more! One last match, let's do this, buddy!
Zach shakes his head no.
Rick Mad: Damn it.
Rick notices that he's surrounded by Slickie T on one side, and Johnny Reb on the other. The bell rings.
Rick Mad: ...damn it.
Slickie hits Mad with a few rights and lefts. Rick turns around, Johnny Reb hits Rick with a few shots of his own. Rick turns around again, this time Slickie hits him with a big Snap Suplex! Not to be outdone, Reb picks Mad up and hits a Facebreaker DDT!
Zach Davis: Aw, I almost feel sorry for saying no to Rick. We DID make a great team back in the day, but... I don't want to get in there with the guys in that ring, no sir.
Slickie goes to pick Rick up again but as he does, Johnny grabs him and hits the Facebreaker DDT as well! The crowd immediately begins to boo.
Shannan Lerch: Never turn your back on Johnny Reb.
Reb tags in Doc Henry. Henry climbs to the top rope, and waits for Slickie to get up. Once Slickie gets to his feet, Henry jumps down and hits a Diving Spear! He quickly pins Slickie, hooking the leg.
Zach Davis: Too early in this match to pin Slickie T.
Henry picks Slickie up and throws him into his and Reb's corner. Doc kicks Slickie in the gut several times as the crowd starts booing. Doc picks him up and tags him back down with a Neckbreaker. But now Rick Mad is back, and out of nowhere he grabs Henry from behind and hits a huge German Suplex, with a bridge pin!
Shannan Lerch: Rick Mad out of nowhere?!
Reb kicks Mad off. Reb then picks him up and hits a Jawbreaker before throwing Rick back out of the ring. Reb and Henry pick Slickie up and throw him to the ropes before executing a Double Arm Drag. Slickie stumbles back to his feet and Reb and Doc hit a Total Elimination!
Zach Davis: Oh my!
Henry pins Slickie as Reb gets back on the apron!
No! Again, Slickie kicks out!
Shannan Lerch: Slickie T can't keep this up forever, he's gotta tag in D-Day or mount some kind of comeback here.
Henry grabs Slickie's head and locks him in a Sleeper. The crowd soon starts chanting Slickie's name, and clapping, trying to urge him to get back up. Eventually Slickie works his way up, much to Doc Henry's dismay. Slickie elbows Henry in the gut several times before going for a huge Clothesline, which Henry ducks, Henry goes for a kick, Slickie grabs his leg and hits a Dragonscrew Legwhip!
Zach Davis: Slickie's gotta make the tag!
Slickie tags in D-Day! D-Day gets into the ring and kicks Doc Henry several times. Doc gets to his feet and D-Day throws him to the ropes, and then snaps off a Superkick! Doc goes down and D-Day pins him.
Doc Henry kicks out.
Shannan Lerch: Doc Henry, showing heart right there.
D-Day picks Doc up and takes him back down with a Backbreaker. D-Day then begins climbing to the top rope.
Zach Davis: High risk move, coming right up!
But no, once again, Rick Mad interferes. He's back in the ring and he hits D-Day several times while he's on the turnbuckle. Mad then climbs up behind him, grappling him... Rick hits a Spider German Suplex!, keeping his legs locked under the ropes as D-Day hits the mat. Mad then climbs back up and executes a picture perfect Moonsault!, pinning D-Day!
Doc kicks Rick off. Doc picks him up and takes him back down with a Pedigree. Doc turns around and is met with a Dropkick from D-Day! D-Day then tags Slickie back into the match!
Shannan Lerch: Here comes Allen Guiliano!
Slickie gets into the ring. Doc is up, runs at him and goes for a Cross Bodyblock, Slickie ducks it, Doc gets up and Slickie hits a Hurricanrana! Mad is up and runs at him, Slickie ducks away from him and then takes him down with a Russian Legsweep! The crowd is going crazy as Slickie mounts the top rope... and flies off with a 450 Splash onto Doc Henry, pinning him!
Reb Springboards over the top rope and hits an Elbow Drop on Slickie, breaking up the pin!
Zach Davis: Slickie almost had it that time!
Reb quickly picks Slickie up and DDTs him back to the ground, getting boos from the crowd. He then exits the ring. Mad is now getting back to his feet, and he grabs Doc Henry by the legs, pulling him into the middle of the ring, and locking him in the Sharpshooter!
Shannan Lerch: Shades of Bret Hart!
Zach Davis: You may be asking yourself, "Why is Rick Mad even bothering to try to win this match?" The answer, I believe, is that Mad is trying to impress Mikami and show him that he's a winner after all.
Henry yells in pain, doing his best not to tap out. He crawls towards the ropes, crawls.. crawls... and eventually makes it! The ref forces Mad to release the hold. Mad curses and stands up, about to pull Doc back into the middle of the ring and grabbing him by the leg. But Doc kicks Mad away, and then dives and tags in Johnny Reb!
Shannan Lerch: Here comes the former Champ!
Reb Springboards over the top rope, hitting a Missile Dropkick on Slickie T, sending him flying out of the ring! He turns to Rick, runs at him and hits a Flying Leg Scissors. Rick falls to the mat and Johnny Reb quickly jumps to the top... and flies off with the Southern Discomfort!
Zach Davis: Oh my God! Here it is!
Johnny Reb quickly pins Rick Mad, hooking the leg.
Slickie slides back into the ring..
Shannan Lerch: Slickie didn't make it in time to stop Reb! Reb and Doc Henry get another win!
Johnny Reb stands up, sees Allen Guiliano, and backs up. The ref raises Reb's hand, and Doc Henry joins him in the ring, just to make sure Slickie T doesn't start anything.
Zach Davis: I doubt Allen Guiliano was going to take any cheap shots, but I don't know if I'd trust Henry and Reb...
All of a sudden, Jamais Vu by Dredg hits the speakers and the five men in the ring all stand straight, and stare at the curtain. Torture walks out slowly with his Championship Belt sitting on his shoulder.
Shannan Lerch: What's this?
Torture stands on the top of the ramp and stares at the five men who could be the new #1 Contender at War. Torture smirks and points towards the ring with both hands, the crowd, and the wrestlers in the ring are very confused. The boos are heard, because the plan is unfolding.
Zach Davis: I guess Torture is scouting his possible competition?
Anthrax, Daniels, Death, Havoc, and even Colton Fly surrounds the ring. They slide in, and they go to war with Slickie T, Reb, Doc Henry, Rick Mad, and D-Day! Team of Torture is trying to beat down the other guys in the ring! Torture smiles on the stage as the beat down continues, however, he's quickly frustrated as Logan, Hector Rodriguez, Chris Avery, Tank Reaper, and Anastasia Petrova all run down the ramp and slide into the ring just to get in on the action!
Shannan Lerch: Look at Logan and Hector! Once again they're working as a team, and they're going right for the Team of Torture!
Zach Davis: They sure are Shannan!
The rest of the roster empties from the locker room and joins them minutes later, just about the entire roster of Wrestling Championship Federation is inside the ring fighting save for Torture, who is standing on the stage..
Shannan Lerch: One week from WAR! One week from WAR! This is it! All these guys in the ring could be the new Number One Contender after next Sunday's WAR!
The crowd begins to chant "CREEP-ING DEATH! CREEP-ING DEATH! CREEP-ING DEATH!"
Torture looks out at the crowd with a very sour face.
Hallowed Be Thy Name hits the speakers and the crowd turns into a god damn frenzy. Torture drops the title and rolls up his shirt sleeve, Creeping Death walks out from the curtain and gets right in Torture's face. The two begin to trash talk, while CD starts pointing at the World Title which is laying on the stage, and then pointing to his waist.. Torture smiles and slaps the spit out of Creeping Death's mouth!
Zach Davis: Oh no he didn't!
The crowd goes wild, Creeping Death recovers, smiles at the crowd and goes for a punch but a dozen WCF referees, and security officials come from the back and block CD's punch and they separate Torture and CD! Seth Lerch is out on the stage keeping Torture back as well! Both men yelling at each other, wanting to get their hands on the other. Seth quickly grabs a mic.
Seth Lerch: This is madness! Torture, I've been accused of "protecting" you, allowing you to do whatever you want around here. NO MORE! At War, in your World Title match with Creeping Death... Anthrax! Death! Ryan Daniels! Havoc! They're ALL banned from ringside! Even Colton!
The crowd erupts!
Zach Davis: Seth, laying the law down!
Seth Lerch: If any of those guys DO interfere, you'll lose the belt! Good luck at War, Torture, you're going to need it!
Shannan Lerch: Creeping Death and Torture are being held back! This is outrageous! This is an all out..
Zach Davis: WAARRR!!
Shannan Lerch: The ring is full of every single WCF Superstar, and Torture and Creeping Death are going at it on the stage! I don't believe this, but we're out of time!
Zach Davis: See you next Sunday fans! It's time for WAR!
Slam fades to black.
