Hall of Fame Announcement
TV Title: Slickie T/Hector Rodriguez vs Greenfever/Jay Price
Kids by MGMT plays over the speakers as pyro explodes and WCF is on the air! The fans cheer and raise their signs as we go to the announcers.
Zach Davis: Welcome to Slam! I'm here with Shannan Lerch, and tonight we have a huge TV Title main event.
Shannan Lerch: That's right Zach! This is a BIG one. Slickie T and Hector Rodriguez are combining forces to face Greenfever and Jay Price.
Zach Davis: Both Slickie and Hector have scores to settle after One. Slickie was defeated and nearly killed by the hands of Greenfever, who is also Hector's One opponent. Hector was defeated by Jay Price, via Price handcuffing him to the ring ropes.
Shannan Lerch: You've got to wonder if Slickie really is 100%, though, and what his focus is like? He has the biggest match of his life coming up, against Torture, and he has to worry about his very life being on the line when he steps into the ring with that maniac!
Zach Davis: This is a night of tag matches. We have Kevin Hardaway teaming up with D-Day to face Ace Slaughter and Anastasia Petrova. Petrova fought Hardaway last week for the US Title, but was defeated. Slaughter then attacked Hardaway in an attempt to get a US Title match... and he has succeeded, as Slaughter vs Hardaway is signed for One.
Shannan Lerch: Not sure what kind of message that sends to the other WCF talent, but oh well. I bet Brad Kane just liked seeing someone attack Kevin Hardaway like that.
Zach Davis: We have Jack Cash teaming with the Hotdog Mascot against the team of Johnny Reb and Doc Henry. We learned that Reb and Henry would be involved in a triple threat tag team match at One, going for the tag team titles, so they better get on their game.
Shannan Lerch: Reb's competition with the Hotdog Mascot last week was.. bizarre.. and Jack Cash had a very impressive debut. Can't wait to see how he fares against a former World Champ like Johnny Reb.
Zach Davis: And in our opener, all three of the Big Time Jerks are in action against three ToT members: Mikami, Ryan Daniels, and Anthrax.
Shannan Lerch: The new Champions took out Truth Addiction, Tank Reaper and Chris Avery, last week... I'm still in shock over that. Let's see how the Champs fare against the ToT!
The Big Time Jerks vs Mikami/Ryan Daniels/Anthrax
The arena goes pitch black and all of a sudden the Jumbotron reads BIG TIME JERKS in red. Smoke covers the entranceway and "Super Villian" by Powerman 5000 starts playing. Big Time Jerks come out wearing black BTJ t-shirts. They walk towards the ring with the BTJ's haveing ice glares towards the ring as Alyssa is taunting the fans by flipping the crowd the middle finger and yelling out they're all hillbillies.
Zach Davis: Here come Austin Adams, Adam Young, and Alex Jones. Adams and Young are, of course, the Tag Team Champions.
Shannan Lerch: And last week they got rid of Truth Addiction, Tank Reaper and Chris Avery. Injured Tank's leg real bad.
Crawl by Kings of Leon hits. Mikami, Ryan Daniels, and Anthrax all step out from the back. They head to the ring, looking all business.
Zach Davis: Mikami and Daniels have a tag team titles match coming up at One. A win here would definitely be a good thing for them.
Daniels starts the match for his team, Adam Young for his. They go to tie up... but Young pokes Daniels right in the eye to get the early advantage! Young then Dropkicks Daniels down. He quickly applies a Boston Crab.
Shannan Lerch: Always a painful move and a smart one, hurts the legs and the back. And without the legs and back, a lot of a competitors offense is limited.
Not wanting Daniels to get injured, Mikami enters the ring and kicks Young stiffly in the chest, breaking it up. The referee tells Mikami to get back on the apron, but of course this brings Austin Adams into the ring while the ref is distracted. Adams picks Daniels up and hits a quick Chokeslam!
Zach Davis: Ahhh! The power of Austin Adams! Impressive.
Mikami has quickly exitted the ring and the ref turns around in enough time for Adam Young to pin Daniels, hooking the leg.
Mikami just as quickly reenters the ring and kicks Young off once again. This time he exits the ring before he can distract the ref once more. Both Young and Daniels lay on the mat for several moments, until Young starts getting to his feet. He tags Adams into the match.
Shannan Lerch: And once again here comes the powerhouse!
Adams gets in as Daniels is getting up. Adams throws Daniels to the ropes, but as Daniels is coming back he ducks a Clothesline, bounces off the ropes, and then hits Adams with a Lariat! Adams stumbles back, and Daniels uses this opportunity to tag in Anthrax.
Zach Davis: Here comes one of the most profane men in WCF, Anthrax!
Anthrax gets into the ring and runs at Adams, but is met with a Big Boot for his troubles. Adams raises his arms in the air to jeers.
Shannan Lerch: Neither of these teams are fan favorites, to say the least... but this crowd really hates the Jerks.
Adams picks Anthrax up and kicks him in the gut, sending Anthrax reeling and doubling over. Adams then executes a huge Sitout Powerbomb!, the crowd ooh's and it goes into a pinfall!
No! Mikami kicks Adams off!
Zach Davis: Quite frankly, Mikami is the only thing keeping the ToT team alive at this point.. they need to get their act together!
The ref starts arguing with Mikami about Mikami continually entering the match without being tagged. Austin Adams throws himself into the ref, crushing him between himself and Mikami!
Shannan Lerch: What the hell did he do that for?
The ref crumples in a heap to the mat, and Adams sneers. Mikami sees this as an opportunity and Dropkicks Adams, sending him back and causing him to trip over Anthrax. Mikami then runs to the ropes, Springboards, and hits a Lionsault onto Adams! The ref situation, of course, brings the other members of each team into the match, and soon all six men are brawling!
Zach Davis: This match has devolved into chaos, Shannan!
Shannan Lerch: Are you surprised?
Eventually, Adams and Young throw Mikami to the ropes and then executes a Double Flapjack. Mikami rolls out of the ring and the Big Time Jerks are in control, kicking at Daniels and Anthrax. Alex Jones is outside the ring, going under it for something.... and he pulls out a ladder!
Zach Davis: Uh oh! What is this!?
Shannan Lerch: Its a ladder you moron!
Zach Davis: Not what I meant. I know its a ladder but what is he doing?
Jones enters the ring and puts the ladder on his shoulders ala Terry Funk. Young and Adams duck as Jones spins around, knocking out Anthrax and Daniels whenever they try to get up! Even the ref gets to his feet and is knocked out again by the ladder! Mikami pulls his two teammates out of the ring and the ToT regroups on the outside.
Shannan Lerch: We need another ref out here!
Zach Davis: Here one comes now, running out from the back... wait a minute! That isn't a ref!
A man has run out from the back and he's heading for the ring, though the Big Time Jerks have their backs to him. The man slides in...
Shannan Lerch: IT'S CHRIS AVERY!!
Zach Davis: CHRIS AVERY ISN'T GONE AFTER ALL!
Avery spins Jones around and executes the True Spin! The other Jerks are shocked to see Avery back, Adams goes for a Clothesline but Avery ducks it, kicks him in the gut, kicks Young in the gut, and hits a Double DDT, sending the Tag Team Champions to the ground! The crowd is on their feet!
Shannan Lerch: The Truth isn't gone after all, and he's here to avenge Tank Reaper!
Avery exits the ring, and then enters the crowd, who are all cheering.
Zach Davis: Shannan, that was exciting, but lets remember... we still have a match going on! Through ladders and interference, the ref hasn't called for a DQ yet... probably because he was unconscious!
Mikami has climbed to the top rope. He flies off... and hits the Hammer of Justice on Alex Jones! The ref is just starting to come to and sees Mikami pinning him. Not much caring who the legal men are, the ref counts.
Shannan Lerch: There you have it! The ToT has managed to get the win!
Mikami exits the ring and heads up the ramp with Daniels and Anthrax. The Big Time Jerks start to regroup in the ring, with Alyssa Jones helping them up while they're figuring out what happened.
Zach Davis: Fans we have to go to a commercial break, we'll be back soon!
Seth Lerch/Big Time Jerks Segment
As we come back from commercial, all three of the Big Time Jerks are in Seth's office, in addition to Alyssa Jones. All four of them are angry.
Alyssa Jones: Seth! What just happened out there in the ring is a TRAVESTY! Chris Avery cost us the match!
Seth Lerch: Yes, yes he did... after you guys knocked out the ref! Sorry, Jerks, MY team won. The Team of Torture won. So I'm not really feeling all that bad about the outcome.
Alyssa Jones: Well whether you're in the ToT or not, Seth, I want you to make this right!
Seth Lerch: And how do you suggest I do that?
Alyssa Jones: That nobody, Chris Avery? Put my brother "187" Alex Jones in the ring with him at One! "187" vs The Truth!
Seth Lerch: I'm pretty sure Chris Avery won't have any problem with that one... you've got yourself a deal. The match is signed.
Alyssa Jones: And secondly Seth.... at One, make our Tag Team Titles match... a LADDER MATCH! You saw us out there with the ladder, we'll be unbeatable!
Seth Lerch: You know, Alyssa, you just might be right. Maybe you WOULD be unbeatable. But Johnny Reb is also in that match, and I don't think anyone is as good in a ladder match as Johnny Reb is, honestly. I don't want to risk it. Mikami and Ryan Daniels are going to walk out of One with the Tag Team Titles, and I'm not going to jeopardize that... no. No way. No ladder match.
Alyssa Jones: What?! But that's not fair!
Seth Lerch: I don't think you guys care about fair, and neither do I. Now get out of here.
Alyssa and the rest of the Jerks glare at Seth before leaving.
Alyssa Jones: We'll see about that, Seth. We'll see about that.
They leave, and Seth shakes his head.
Jack Cash/Hotdog Mascot vs Johnny Reb/Doc Henry
Zach Davis: And now, the tag team of Johnny Reb and Doc Henry are up against Jack Cash and ..sigh.. the Hotdog Mascot.
Shannan Lerch: Do you think its a coincidence that since the Hotdog Mascot appeared we haven't seen Logan much?
Zach Davis: Good question.
The lights are suddenly cut. Street Carp by Deftones begins and after Deftones front man Chino Moreno’s scream roars through the arena the song kicks in full force, cueing Jack Cash to walk out onto the stage. The crowd erupts at his arrival, which he plays to by patting his chest and pointing outwards towards the audience before heading down the ramp. Once at ringside, Jack Cash scales the ringside stairs and strides along the ring apron before climbing to the second turnbuckle. He stands tall and proud, raising both his arms into the air while light bulbs flicker through the arena as pictures are taken. After dropping his pose, Jack Cash climbs down onto the ring apron then steps through the ropes and into the ring.
Shannan Lerch: DAMN am I impressed with this Jack Cash guy. Great match last week.
"King For a Day" by Green Day hits the speakers, the Hotdog Mascot waddles out onto the top of the ramp to a roar of cheers. He prematurely celebrates, jumping around on the stage and throwing his hands in the air.
"Just wait till all the guys get a load of me!"
Hotdog Mascot skips around the stage swaying his hips and arms in rhythm to the music. The Mascot flees down the ramp and rolls into the ring, dancing in place till "King For a Day" cuts.
Zach Davis: And here.. is the Hotdog Mascot. I still don't believe it every time I say that.
The opening chords of "Bad Company" by Bad Company filter through the arena. The stage and the surrounding area go dark. As the actual lyrics begin, blue lights illuminate a figure dressed in a grey Confederate frock coat and an officer's slouch hat.
Always on the run.
He steps out onto the ramp and the stage lights return to normal.
Is the rising sun.
Johnny’s appearance draws a mixed reaction from the crowd, with about half the fans solidly behind him.
I was born 6-gun in my hand,
Behind a gun, I make my final stand.
The Inveterate Confederate starts down the ramp, slowly, and pauses halfway down.
That's why they call me...
Suddenly, a fountain of pyros erupts behind him to coincide with the change in the song's tempo. Johnny raises his hands and lifts his head, making a beckoning motion, reveling in the crowd’s attentions, favorable or not.
Bad Company. And I can't deny,
Bad Company, til the day I die.
Reb lowers his arms and continues toward the ring.
Deserters we are called,
Chose a gun
And threw away the sun.
Now these towns,
They all know our name.
Is our claim to fame.
Johnny walks up the steel steps. He stalks to the far corner and climbs onto the second turnbuckle, posing for the crowd.
I can hear them say..
Bad Company, and I won’t deny.
Bad. Bad Company, til the day I die.
The music fades away as Johnny hops off the turnbuckle and removes the hat and coat.
Shannan Lerch: Johnny Reb! Defeated the Mascot last week in Buns of Steel II.
Dr. Feelgood by Motley Crue hits, and the crowd cheers as Doc Henry heads to the ring!
Zach Davis: Shorter than usual entrance, Shannan.
The bell rings. Cash starts the match for his team, and Reb for his. They meet in the middle of the ring and tie up. Reb gets the early advantage, switches to grappling behind Cash and Dropkicks him in the back, sending him stumbling forward into the turnbuckle. He hits it front first, stumbles backwards, and Reb rolls him up in a pin.
No, Cash gets out of it. Both men get to their feet, Reb runs at Cash and Cash catches him with a Headlock Takedown. Cash releases it, gets up quickly and drops an elbow on Reb. He then waits for Reb to stand... runs at him and hits a Bulldog Lariat!
Shannan Lerch: Nice move!
Cash pins Reb now.
Nope, Reb kicks out. Cash picks Reb up and throws him into the corner. He then repeatedly hits haymaker after haymaker to the former World Champion! After several of these shots Reb stumbles out of the corner and Cash drops him with Evenflow DDT!
Zach Davis: This could be it, it could be all over here!
Shannan Lerch: A win against Johnny Reb could skyrocket Cash's career, that's for sure!
No, Henry kicks him off.
Zach Davis: Good teamwork, Henry saving Reb. You'll see a lot of that from these two.
Henry ignores the ref and kicks Cash repeatedly in the head as Reb recovers. Henry and Reb then execute a Double Suplex! Henry finally gets back on the apron and Reb tags him in.
Shannan Lerch: Henry is legal now, let's see what he can do.
Henry climbs to the top rope and flies off onto Cash with a quick Frogsplash! Into a pin!
Henry is pelted with hot dog buns from the Hotdog Mascot! Cash kicks out, anyway, but Henry gets up, turning towards the Mascot, angry and confused. Mascot keeps throwing the buns. Henry marches over, grabs him and throws him into the ring! Mascot gets up and Henry kicks him in the gut and executes a Pedigree!
Zach Davis: Poor Mascot!
Henry turns around to Cash, who hits him with a Low Blow!
Shannan Lerch: He calls that a Tax Deduction!
Cash then executes a Leaping Spin Kick!
Zach Davis: Wheel of Fortune! Great moves from newcomer Jack Cash!
Cash covers Henry, hooking the leg.
NO! Reb has just hit a Moonsault Legdrop onto Cash, breaking up the pin. Cash gets to his feet, groggy, and Reb hits a Facebreaker DDT! He then gets back onto the apron.
Shannan Lerch: Both Doc Henry and Jack Cash are laid out on the mat now.. I'd say both men need to make tags.
And, indeed, Henry crawls towards Reb and Cash crawls towards the Mascot. The crowd is on their feet... and both men make the tag!
Zach Davis: Reb and Hotdog Mascot part two! Here we go!
Mascot enters the ring right as Reb Springboards over the ropes, hitting him with a Missile Dropkick! Mascot hits the ground hard and gets up only to be met with a Snapmare followed by a stiff kick to the spine by Johnny Reb! Reb picks the Mascot up, throws him to the ropes and hits a second Snapmare, but this time applies a Dragon Sleeper!
Shannan Lerch: Thats Reb's Sweet Water Sleeper! The crowd is booing like crazy, but Reb has the move locked in tight!
The Hotdog Mascot might have to tap out!... until Jack Cash enters the ring and kicks Reb stiff in the head! Reb's eyes glaze over and he slumps to the mat.
Zach Davis: Cash was tired after wrestling the entire first part of this match, but he didn't have much choice to make the save there.
Now the Mascot and Reb rest on the mat. The Mascot is the first to get up. He starts kicking at Johnny Reb, stiff, angry kicks. He picks Reb up and goes for a Vertical Suplex, but Reb lands behind him, jumps up and executes a Victory Roll into pin!
Nope, Mascot kicks out. Both men are up, and Reb goes for a Clothesline. The Mascot ducks it and locks in a Sleeper..
Shannan Lerch: Something about that looks familiar-
The Mascot goes to flip over in a Connector-like move, but Reb manages to throw him off before he hits it!
Zach Davis: Did the Hotdog Mascot just go for the Connector? Logan's move?
Shannan Lerch: And besides.. Logan, hot dogs... I think we have a connection here! What the hell?
The Mascot gets to his feet and Reb is already on the turnbuckle. He flies off and hits a Corkscrew Shooting Star DDT!
Zach Davis: Saturday Night Special!
Reb is about to go for a pin, but Cash knows this could be it and he's on the turnbuckle, flying off and hitting a Cash Clothesline before Reb can pin the Mascot! Of course, this leads to Henry entering the ring and tackling down Cash, raining rights and lefts down on him. The two roll out of the ring and brawl on the outside before getting back to their respective corners.
Shannan Lerch: This match could've broken down just then!
Cash reaches out and tags the Mascot, getting himself back into the match. But as he comes in, Reb runs at him and Dropkicks him, sending him right back into the turnbuckle.
Zach Davis: Reb, not giving Cash an inch!
Reb then throws Cash out of his own turnbuckle and into the opposite one. Reb grabs Cash by the hand and gets to the top, beginning to walk the rope.
Shannan Lerch: He's going for the Stars and Bars!
But no, as Reb is about to jump Cash kinda pulls away, breaking from the hold and grabbing Reb, HITTING AN RKO!
Zach Davis: Corporal Punishment!
Cash quickly pins Reb, hooking the leg!
Shannan Lerch: That's it!
Before Henry even knew what happened, Cash got the win! He stands up as the ref raises his hand, and Henry gets in the ring, arguing, wondering what happened.
Zach Davis: Jack Cash just pinned a former World Champion! I don't believe it!
Cash rolls out of the ring and heads to the back, a huge smile on his face as he does.
Jay Price Segment
After a quick commercial break and a run-through of tonight's sponsors the cameras cut back to a shot of Shannan Lerch and Zach Davis sitting at the announce table.
Zach Davis: Well Shannan so far we've had a great show and I have a feeling its about to get a whole lot bet...
All of the lights in the arena go out as two spotlights begin circling the crowd as they stand up and begin booing in unison.
The spotlights go out as blasts of red and white pyro go off from opposite sides of the stage. Both spotlights come back on, this time focused on the center of the stage, as Lloyd Banks "Lights, Camera, Packin" begins playing over the arena's PA system.
Shannan Lerch: For once Zach, we totally agree.
One more blast of red and white pyro goes off from the end of stage as silver sparks rain down on the center of the stage. Jay Price emerges through the sparks with the WCF Television Title draped casually over his shoulder, smirking behind a pair of dark sunglasses and a black three-piece Gucci suit.
Shannan Lerch: (muttering low to herself) Hot damn he looks good in a suit.
Zach Davis: What was that?
Shannan Lerch: Oh..nothing.
Price casually makes his way down the ramp, occasionally looking around at the fans as they boo him. He makes his way up the ring steps and climbs through the middle and top rope before walking over to grab a microphone from a WCF employee at ringside. The lights in the arena all come back on as Price's music cuts.
Jay Price: So we continue our glorious tour of America's wasteland here in the shit capital of the world Boise, Idaho.
Big heat from the crowd. Chants of "You Suck" and "Fuck You Price" are heard throughout the arena. Price acknowledges them with a smile as he shakes his head.
Jay Price: I mean here I thought we couldn't do worse than our last few stops...but Boise? Really now Lerch, I know we're not the biggest promotion out there but couldn't we do better for ourselves? As much as you're always talking about making money I'd think you could make some better booking choices. But I digress. As I was traveling to the arena today I had a chance to look around at this city of yours and see some of the local residents. And as I saw all of you backwoods rednecks going about your meaningless lives, it got me to thinking about WCF's own resident inbred freak...The Hot Dog Mascot.
Slight pop for the Mascot and his hijinks.
Jay Price: Yeah I figured you people would enjoy the antics of a grown man dressed up in a damn hot dog suit. I on the other hand have a slightly different view of this sideshow act. You see I, unlike all of you hicks, am not a stupid man. I have enough common sense to realize that there's something a little fishy going on in WCF...and I'm not talking about the smell coming from Alyssa Jones' pants.
Mix of boos and laughs from the crowd.
Jay Price: So I had the guys in the back pull up some old footage for me to look over and I put together a little presentation for all of you. So go ahead and put that up on the big screen for me.
Up on the big screen a picture of the Hot Dog Mascot appears, drawing once again a slight pop from the crowd.
Jay Price: The Hot Dog Mascot. What sort of mentally ill person would put on a hot dog suit and go out each night to wrestle? You would have to be so screwed up in the head that you had no sense of what's quality entertainment. You would have to be someone that constantly craves attention and cheap pops from people just like all of you. You would have to be just like....
Behind Price on the big screen the photo of Hot Dog Mascot fades away and is replaced by a photo of Logan. There's a loud pop from the crowd as everyone stands and cheers. Price looks around at the cheering crowd and shakes his head in disgust.
Jay Price: What do you people see in Logan that you love so much? The man is a perpetual loser and an embarrassment to this company. Yes at one point he may have been the biggest star in this company, winning multiple titles and War matches, but that was all in the past. This is strictly a what have you done for me lately type of business, and lately Logan hasn't done shit except make a constant ass out of himself.
That last comment draws a lot of heat from the crowd as they start up the "Fuck You Price" chants again.
Jay Price: Now back to business. You might be saying to yourselves where's the proof at Price? Well the proof has been in front of your faces for the last few years. Whether it was Logan getting distracted by hot dog vendors or people sitting in the front row eating a hot dog, or even referring to a certain part of his anatomy as the Jumbo Hot Dog of Treachery, the man's fascination with hot dogs has always been present. It's time for Logan to finally admit that he is the one behind this Oscar Mayer rip-off and end all of his stupid shenanigans. So next week Logan, I'm going to come out to this ring and I want you to join me. I want you to stand right here in the center of this ring and look at each and everyone of these people and tell them the truth. And if you refuse...well then we'll all know two things about you. One, that you really are the Hot Dog Mascot. And two...that you're an ever bigger coward than people say you are.
Crowd continues to boo Price as he smirks. The picture of Logan on the big screen fades and the WCF logo comes back up on it.
Jay Price: Now enough about Logan and hot dogs. Let's talk about something I found that was far more interesting.
Price turns toward the announcers and walks over to the ropes looking at Shannan Lerch.
Jay Price: Shannan would you please come up into the ring for a moment.
Shannan Lerch looks up at Price with a puzzled look on her face.
Shannan Lerch: What?
Jay Price: Come on up here for a minute, I promise I won't bite.
Shannan removes her headset and grabs a microphone before standing up and heading into the ring. She gets in the ring and walks cautiously towards Price.
Jay Price: Now Shannan, you're an intelligent woman right?
Shannan Lerch: I guess so.
Jay Price: And you're obviously a very attractive young girl.
Shannan blushes and looks down at her feet.
Jay Price: So imagine my suprise when I found out that at one time, such a smart and pretty girl actually dated someone like Logan.
Shannan looks up at Price who is smiling, trying to hold back laughter. She looks like she's about slap Price for laughing at her.
Jay Price: Don't get mad. I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing at the idea of Logan actually being with a woman. Naturally I assumed that someone so obsessed with food shaped like a...well you can figure out where I'm going with that. But no I'm not laughing at you because I figured it out. You were young and careless and Logan seemed like the right idea at the time. I'm sure if you knew how he'd turn out you never would have dated him at all, right?
Shannan looks down and appears to be really thinking about that question. She looks up at Price and raises the microphone up.
Shannan Lerch: Nope.
Jay Price: Thought so. So Shannan let's forget about Logan for a second and talk about you.
Shannan Lerch: Me?
Jay Price: Yes you. Let's talk about you and this little schoolgirl crush you seem to have developed for me.
Shannan again blushes.
Jay Price: Ah I see I hit that nail on the head.
Shannan nods slightly.
Jay Price: So what would you say to dinner sometime.
Shannan Lerch: Really?
Jay Price: Of course. Tell you what, how about we go get something to eat after the show and we talk all about this.
Shannan Lerch: Sure, I'd love to.
Jay Price: Excellent. Now why don't you go back over to the announcer table and make sure you watch real close later on tonight during my match.
Shannan Lerch: Okay.
Shannan exits the ring and sits back in her chair.
Jay Price: Now that the Lifetime moment is over it's time to get back to business. Tonight I once again will be defending my WCF Television Championship and once again Hector Rodriguez will be involved. Sure it's a tag team match and Slickie T will have the same opportunity, but this whole thing with Hector is really getting old. But I'm not going to bitch and moan about it, instead I'm going to do what I do best. I'm going to come out to this ring with my partner Greenfever and the two of us are going to beat the holy hell out of both of them. And then once again I'm going to leave this ring the same way I entered it....as your Television Champion.
Price drops the microphone and exits the ring with the title belt held high above his head. When he gets to the bottom of the ramp he throws the belt over his shoulder and looks over at Shannan and smiles. Shannan smiles back and watches as Price makes his way up the ramp and goes through the curtain.
Zach Davis: Are you serious Shannan? Are you really going to go out with that guy?
Shannan Lerch: You're damn right I am.
Ace Slaughter/Anastasia Petrova/D-Day/Kevin Hardaway Segment
Zach Davis: The tag team match, involving D-Day and his partner, the United States Champion Kevin Hardaway set-up to go against Anastasia Petrova and her partner "Superstar" Ace Slaughter is about to start. But, we understand we have "Superstar" Ace Slaughter and the Russian Goddess Anastasia Petrova is backstage with Hank Brown. Go ahead, Hank.
Hank Brown: Thank you, Zach and Shannan!! At this moment, I have standing with me.... Ace Slaughter and Anastasia Petrova!!
The crowd cheers loudly, with a few boos.
Hank Brown: Ace Slaughter and Anastasia Petrova, in just a few seconds, you two will face off against D-Day...
The crowd boos.
Shannan Lerch: I guess the crowd is letting the world know, how they truly feel about D-Day.
Hank Brown: ...and the United States heavyweight champion Kevin Hardaway!!!
The crowd cheers loudly.
Zach Davis: These fans do love their US champion!!
Hank Brown: Now, Ace Slaughter...
The fans cheer loudly, with a few boos.
Shannan Lerch: I guess some of the fans didn't appreciate Ace Slaughter attacking Kevin Hardaway, after the champ successfully defended his US title against Anastasia Petrova, who happens to be his tag team partner, tonight.
Hank Brown: With you attacking Kevin Hardaway, did you know how big of an impact it was going to be?
Ace Slaughter: Hank Brown. Half of me, felt bad about attacking a man who just finished a tough title defense, against my tag team partner, for the night, Anastasia Petrova. If I have give a reason why I "attacked"...
Slaughter gives quotations.
Ace Slaughter: ... Kevin Hardaway, I had to make an impact on the US title scene. I had to let the champ know, that he had another contender to worry about.
Hank Brown: That is quite a step up, from the Hardcore championship. You could of easily gone after the Television championship. Jay Price is more the adversary you tend to go after. You know your pledge.... "Fight the good fight".
Ace Slaughter: Yea, I know. Jay Price is the kind of scum I tend to go after and teach him a lesson on what NOT to do in MY organization!!!
Zach Davis: HIS organization?!?
Shannan Lerch: Sh-h-h-h!!
Hank Brown: Then why go after Kevin Hardaway, a kid of person you usually would tag with, to go after guys like Jay Price. The fans love both of you two. Why go after another beloved fan favorite?!
Ace Slaughter: I don't know, really. I was ringside and I was watching the match, between Petrova and Hardaway. Then after I saw Kevin Hardaway beating on Anastasia, I just snapped. I know Anastasia can handle her own, but I'm a man's man. I mean look at me...
Camera-Dude starts the camera's view from Slaughter's feet to his masked head.
Ace Slaughter: I mean, REALLY look at me. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I AM six feet five inches and almsot two hundred and ninety pounds of muscular fury. Not only can I outwrestle anyone, I can rip anyone's head from their shoulders!!! When I see a hypocrite like Kevin Hardaway beat a woman down, even it is Anastasia, I HAD to step in. A real man don't strike women, no matter what size she is. Like I said before, Anastasia can handle her own. But, she looked like she was in distress. Someone HAD to step in and help her, so I did.
Hank Brown: Now, Anastasia Petrova!!!
The crowd cheers loudly.
Anastasia Petrova: Yes, Hank?
Hank Brown: Tonight, what do you think of your opponents, tonight?!?
Anastasia Petrova: Just like Ace Slaughter said before, Kevin Hardaway is the kind of guy you wouldn't mind tagging with, but he is tagging with that scumbag D-Day. I have always believed, in the fact, that you are similar to those who you hang with. Tonight, Hardaway, you're tagging with D-Day. After our last match, you may have fooled the fans, but you haven't fooled me!!! People have accused Slaughter on turning against his fans, by jumping you after our match. All he was doing was protecting me. You want to villify him, for that? It's YOU, that fans should be worried about. Look at your behavior, lately!!! You WANT the fans to shower you with their love and cheers, but YOU beat up on a woman. SHAME ON YOU, KEVIN HARDAWAY... SHAME ON YOU!!! Look, I know, I'm a professional wrestler. There will be times when I HAVE to wrestle men, but if you watch the tape, of the match...
Ace Slaughter: ...and I have.
Shannan Lerch: Play the tape...
With Petrova still on the ground, Kevin Hardaway gets into position for a rear naked choke.
Shannan Lerch: Rear naked choke on Anastasia.
Zach Davis: What does this do to your upper body, Ace?
Ace Slaughter: As you can see, he grabs her around her neck, like that. Now, he's wrenching on her neck. Now, she IS pretty well built, but she is much smaller than the champ and he can gain advantage by using his size difference. I tell you what, no matter how big you are, that maneuver is painful!!
Zach Davis: But, wait a minute. The referee is telling Hardaway to relinquish the hold.
Shannan Lerch: I didn't see why?
Ace Slaughter: Her foot is under the ropes.
The referee: Let go, Hardaway!! 1... 2... 3...
Anastasia Petrova: ...you can obviously see that Kevin Hardaway purpously tried to choke me. Even if he wasn't trying to, then why, if he's such a nice guy, did it take three seconds for him to let go the choke? And here's another reason, why the fans shouldn't trust Kevin Hardaway...
Zach Davis: Hardaway drags Anastasia into the corner, proping her head against the bottom turnbuckle.
Kevin Hardaway runs to the opposite corner, begins to runs full tilt and...
The crowd gasps!!
Shannan Lerch: Oh my God!! Kevin Hardaway just slammed his knee against the skull of Anastasia Petrova!!!
Ace Slaughter: The champion picks up the slumping challenger, kicks her into the stomach and nails her with a DDT!!!
The challenger's head lands into the mat like a nail into a board.
Anastasia Petrova: The fans cannot trust Kevin Hardaway. I know he has a way about him, but he still cannot be trusted!!
Ace Slaughter: I told you!! I told you!!! I... TOLD... YOU!!! I am NOT the only one who notice your pathetic behavior, Kevin Hardaway. You hide behind your smile. You hide behind your catchy catch phrases and fancy moves!! You say, what the fans want you to say. That doesn't make you a nice guy that makes you an opportunistic kiss-a*s!!!
Zach Davis: Opportunistic kiss-ass?!?
Ace Slaughter: Ask anyone, Kevin Hardaway!! I'm not the only one who is sick and tired ... I'll say it again. SICK AND TIRED OF YOU SAYING ONE THING AND ACTING LIKE THE OTHER!!! You are a fake human being!!! I know that, you know that...EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT!!! In just a few seconds....
D-Day steps in...
Shannan Lerch: Here comes D-Day!!!
D-Day: I'll tell you what, Ace Slaughter, if you're such a badass, why don't you just try and do something about it!!
Anastasia puts her right arm against Slaughter's chest...
Anastasia Petrova: No, Ace, you don't have to this, now. We can wait, for a few seconds, before we kick their as*es!!!
D-Day: Is that, right? Anastasia you're nothin' but a Russian whore!!!
Shannan Lerch: Oh hell!!! I think that did it!!!
Ace slaughter lunges towards D-Day....
Zach Davis: Here comes Kevin Hardaway!!!
The US Champion hits Ace slaughter on the back, of his head, with a double axe handle. As Anastasia tries to help Slaughter, D-Day dropkicks her on the back of her head.
Shannan Lerch: Hardaway kicks Slaughter in the gut...
Zach Davis: DDT by Hardaway!!!
Shannan Lerch: Slaughter down!!! Slaughter down!!!
Zach Davis: Watch out Anastasia!!!
Anastasia is leaning over Ace Slaughter, Kevin Hardaway grabs Anastasia and pushes her towards D-Day.
Shannan Lerch: Superkick!! Superkick by D-Day!!!
Zach Davis: Oh my god!!! Both Ace Slaughter and Anastasia Petrova are lying face first on the concrete floor. The match hasn't even started yet and we have two injured participants, already. We'll be right back, after these commercials... Oh, what a mess!!!
Kevin Hardaway/D-Day vs Ace Slaughter/Anastasia Petrova
Zach Davis: We're back. And the match is ordered to continue and Kyle Steel is in the ring....
Kyle Steel: Coming to the ring...
Give me the meltdown by Rob Thomas begin to play....
The lights begin to dim.
Feeling worn down
Like a piece of glass
It doesn't take too much to get yourself to feed your monkey
Tell some white lies, they can swallow them
You don't see just how you got into this situation
Kyle Steel: Weighing in at 230 pounds... from New York City..... D-Day
The lights begins to flash as D-Day walks out to the top of the ramp.
Late at night,
late at night you weep for something better than the secrets you keep laying down,
Just lay down here close to me,
and tell me what you want from me.
D-Day falls down onto his knees and throws his arms in the air.
And I said Hey now,
Give Me The Meltdown,
take it out on me this time around,
oh no it aint over now I can feel the world spinning round and round and round
Fireworks are exploding and surround him.
Hey now, give me the meltdown,
take it out on me don't let me down,
oh no it aint over now I can feel the world spinning round and round and round.
The screen is showing all of the times and moments D-Day has used his Dead and Forgotten Finishing manuever.
Wide awake now and your monkey's dead
You're so perfect that you never really need nobody
Put your hands down, you're among your friends
You just take and take and take and take and take and take and
The screen is now showing a ring with his name D-Day in white cursive.
Late at night, late at night
You weep but so no better than the secrets you keep
Stay down, just lay down here close to me
Pretend you're never leaving me.
D-Day waits for his partner. The US Champion, Kevin Hardaway...
The lights immediately go out now inside the arena.
Zach Davis: Holy Moses!!!
Shannan Lerch: Zach, don't you know, by now, that when the lights go out, it could be Kevin Hardaway. coming to the ring?
Zach Davis: Oh, yeah. Sorry.
Everybody is going ape crazy. As the lights are out, white spotlights are rotating around the arena. Lightning flashes around the arena, as the sound of thunder crackles along the PA system. More spotlights appear, as more thunder is played along the system. Guitars begin to play....
Drums and guitar riffs begin to play.
Kyle Steel: Weighing in at 251 pounds, from Baltimore, Maryland... The United States Champion... KEVI-VI-VI-N HAR-AR-ARDAWAY-AY-AY!!!
White smoke fills the entrance ramp.
All I've ever wanted was destiny to be fulfilled
It is in my hands, I must not fail, I must not fail
Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always
This is the proving ground
Misery begins to rise
Turn away from yesterday
Tomorrow's in my eyes (Oh!)
Nevermore to be held down
The white spotlights are strobing to the beat of the song.
By the wings of history
Nevermore to be cast aside
This day is mine
The white strobelight are going crazy
Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always
This fire burns always
Out from the white smoke, is Kevin Hardaway. He is wearing a black trenchcoat on over his ring gear. He gives off a wicked smile.
I will not be denied in this final hour
I will not be denied, this day is mine
This passion inside me is burning (Is burning)
This passion inside me is burning (Is burning)
Even through the darkest days
This fire burns always (always)
This fire burns (fire burns) always
CLICK... CLICK BOOM!!!
Shannan Lerch: HERE COM-OMES SLAUGH-AUGHTER!!!
Come on come on.
Come on come on.
All those Saturdays,
When kids go out and play,
I was up in my room I let the stereo blaze,
Wasn't faded, not jaded,
Zach Davis: I don't see, Ace Slaughter!! Is he injured?!?
Just a kid with a pad and pen and a big imagination.
All this, I seek, I find
I push the envelope to the line,
Make it, break it, take it,
Until I'm overrated.
Click, Click Boom.
I'm coming down on the stereo, hear me on the radio,
Click, click boom.
I'm coming down with the new style
And you know it's buck wild.
Click, Click Boom
I'm on the radio station touring round the nation,
Leaving the scene in devastation.
Shannan Lerch: No-o-o!! Here comes both Anastasia Petrova and Ace Slaughter!!!
As D-Day and Kevin Hardaway begin to walk the aisle, both Anastasia Petrova and Ace Slaughter attack their opponents.
Zach Davis: All four are fighting down the aisle.
Shannan Lerch: The referee is leaving the ring to seperate the four.
Ace Slaughter grabs Kevin Hardaway and throws him inside the ring. As Slaughter rolls into the ring, the US Champion begins to stomp onto his already hurt body.
Shannan Lerch: Looks like we have the match started.
Zach Davis: Kevin Hardaway stomps onto Slaughter, as D-Day is giving him engouragement!!!
Hardaway picks up Slaughter and tosses him into the ring corner and begins to pummel him with quick vicious rights and lefts.
Slaughter slumps down into the corner, Hardaway picks up Slaughter and drags him over to his corner.
Shannan Lerch: The US Champ tags in D-Day. Hardaway irish-whips Slaughter into the ropes.
Zach Davis: Double clothesline. Quick cover, by D-Day.
The Crowd: One!!!
The Crowd: Tw-
Zach Davis: Kickout by Slaughter. A rear chinlock by D-Day. In fact, it looks like a choke
Slaughter is flipping around.
Shannan Lerch: In fact, it does look like a choke. The referee steps in...
Referee: Okay, D-Day, let go!! One... Two... Three...
D-Day lets go of the choke. This time D-Day is choking Slaughter with his bare hands, around his throat.
Referee: Alright, D-Day!! That's enough!! One!!! Two!!! Three!! Four!!
Shannan Lerch: D-Day picks up Ace Slaughter and...
Zach Davis: Backbreaker!! Elbowdrop!! Then another elbowdrop!! A third elbowdrop!!! A quick pin by D-Day!!!
Shannan Lerch: A kickout!!
Slaughter sits up and looks angry.
Zach Davis: I think Slaughter has had enough!! Oh no, finger, to the eye!!!
Shannan Lerch: D-Day drags Ace Slaughter over to the champ.
Kevin Hardaway enters the ring. Both of them begin to stomp onto Ace.
The Referee: Alright, D-Day get out... One!!
Zach Davis: Kevin Hardaway picks up Slaughter and irsh-whips slaughter into the ropes.
As Slaughter bounces off the ropes, Hardaway shoulder blocks him out of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Ace Slaughter is outside of the ring. This match has been all Kevin Hardaway and D-Day.
As Ace Slaughter tries to stand up, Slaughter puts his hands onto the ring apron and....
Shannan Lerch: Baseball slide by Kevin Hardaway!!
Zach Davis: That completely knocked Ace Slaughter into the ring barrier. Here comes D-Day.
That causes Anastasia Petrova to leave her ring corner. The referee sees it and tries to prevent her from helping her partner get double teamed, on the outside of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: There is complete mayhem, ringside!!
Zach Davis: There are feet and fists flying everywhere!!! D-Day is irish-whipping... NO-O-O-O Anastasia just irish whipped D-Day over the security barrier, into the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: Now, both Petrova and Slaughter are double teaming on the US champion.
Anastasia and Ace pick up Hardaway and drop him, throat first, onto the ring barrier.
Zach Davis: Kevin Hardaway looks hurt. Oh, look!!! D-Day is attempting to crawl over the barrier!!!
Shannan Lerch: But, no-o-o-o!!! Anastasia just puched D-Day back over the ringside barrier;
Zach Davis: This match is completely gone crazy!!! Petrova grabs D-Day and throws him back over the ring barrier and onto the ringside mats. She picks him up and....
Zach Davis: ...right against the ringside steps!!!
Shannan Lerch: Kevin Hardaway grabs Ace Slaughter and he just nailed Ace with a vertical suplex onto the mats, The referee is counting...
Referee: Six!!! Seven!!!
Zach Davis: Hardaway throws Slaughter into the ring....
Shannan Lerch: Meanwhile, Anastasia Petrova clotheslines D-Day, which makes him flipover backwards!! You're right, this match has completely gone out of control!!!
Zach Davis: Hardaway with a pin attempt!!!
The Crowd: ONE!!!
The Crowd: TWO!!!!
The Crowd: THR-
Zach Davis: Kickout!!! He sits up Slaughter and Hardaway bounces of the ropes...
Shannan Lerch: A flipover neckbreaker!!!
Zach Davis: Another pin attempt!!!
The Crowd: ONE!!!
The Crowd: TWO!!!!
The Crowd: THR-
Shannan Lerch: Kickout!!! Amazing!! Ace Slaughter should dead, from all the damage the United States Champion has done to him, before and during the match!!!
Zach Davis: That's right!!
Shannan Lerch: Looks like this is it!!!
Kevin Hardaway slices across his throat to indicate the match is over. Hardaway climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Anastasia Petrova is fighting, tooth and nail with D-Day.
Zach Davis: There is so-o-o much action, it's hard to call it all. The referee is having a really hard time, controlling this match. With Hardaway and Slaughter, fighting in the ring. Petrova and D-Day, fighting on the outside of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: It looks like the champ is gonna... YES!!!
Zach Davis: Kevin Hardaway is flying off the top turnbuckle
Shannan Lerch: The champ flies and Ace Slaughter barely moves out, of the way.
Some of Kevin Hardaway's legs hit the lower back, of Ace Slaughter.
Shannan Lerch: Slaughter picks up Hardaway and tosses him into the ropes.
Zach Davis: Hardaway bounces off the ropes and Slaughter grabs the US champ and....
Shannan Lerch: SLOBBERKNOCKER! Could this be the finish?
Zach Davis: Slaughter looks around the crowd, who are in a frenzy!!!
Ace Slaughter points to the corner...
The Crowd: SLAUGHTERMATIC!!!
The Crowd: SLAUGHTERMATIC!!!
The Crowd: SLAUGHTERMATIC!!!
Zach Davis: Slaughter begins to climb the turnbuckles and looks around the arena!!!
Shannan Lerch: Ace Slaughter is about to get ready for his signature maneuver... The Slaughtermatic!!
Zach Davis: But wait, D-Day tosses Slaughter off the turnbuckle!!
Shannan Lerch: Anastasia Petrova punches him in the mouth, for his reward!!!
Zach Davis: Both Kevin Hardaway and Ace Slaughter are laying in the middle, of the ring!!!
The Referee: One!!
Shannan Lerch: The ref is counting!!!
The Referee: Two!!
Zach Davis: It looks like Slaughter and the champ are out cold!!!
The Referee: Three!!!
The Referee: Four!!!
Zach Davis: There is movement!!! Both Slaughter and Hardaway are trying to stand!!!
Shannan Lerch: Hardaway with a punch!!! Slaughter with a punch!! Kevin Hardaway with a kick to the gut!! Slaughter with a kick to the gut!! Hardaway with a wild swing...
Zach Davis: But, he misses!!!
Shannan Lerch: Slaughter nails the US champion with a reverse neckbreaker!!
Zach Davis: Kevin Hardaway is lying motionless!!!
Slaughter climbs as quickly as he can to the top, but D-Day quickly pulls Hardaway out of the ring!
Shannan Lerch: D-Day just saved his partner!
D-Day slides in, about to attack Slaughter. But Petrova intercepts him and hits the Rasputin!
Shannan Lerch: NICE!
And Slaughter flies off the top...
Zach Davis: Slaughtermatic!
Slaughter pins D-Day!
Shannan Lerch: Slaughter and Petrova get the win!
The referee raises Anastasia's and Slaughter's hand. Petrova and Slaughter slide out to leave, but Slaughter sees Hardaway laying on the mat. He picks him up and throws him back in the ring.
Zach Davis: I think he's gonna get revenge for the attack earlier tonight!
Slaughter slides back into the ring also, opting to launch another assault on the United States Champion Kevin Hardaway! Petrova, happy with her win, decides to head to the back, not wanting to get involved. D-Day leaves also.
Shannan Lerch: I'm starting to think Slaughter has snapped!
After dragging Kevin to his feet, Ace takes him down with a perfectly executed Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Upon impact, Kevin grimaces, pressing his hand against his lower back but ‘The Superstar’ proceeds without relent. He drags Kevin to a vertical base once more only to flatten the Champion by pulling him into a stiff Short Arm Clothesline. Intent on adding the exclamation point on his onslaught, Ace Slaughter steps through the ropes and hops down to the outside floor where he makes his way over to the Timekeepers Area. Shoving aside the Timekeeper Ace Slaughter grabs the folding chair the man was just sitting on, folds it up and raises it into the air to a chorus of cheers, which, unbeknownst to Ace, are not for him.
Zach Davis: Looks towards the entryway Shannan!
Ace quickly slides back into ring ready to cause more damage but he is confronted by WCF’s hottest acquisition Jack Cash! The two exchange very heated words, which remain inaudible due to the crowd reacting positively to Jack Cash standing up for a defenceless man. Words’ not doing an efficient job Ace Slaughter swings the Chair at Jack Cash who deftly sidesteps the blow. Ace turns around in attempt to recover from the fumble but Jack Cash beats him to the punch and unleashes on ‘The Superstar’ with a flurry of Haymakers. The shots cause Ace Slaughter to inadvertently back into the corner that proves to be fatal as Jack Cash Pump Kick’s him in the stomach then connects with a European Uppercut that falls ‘The Superstar’.
Shannan Lerch: What is Jack Cash doing out here!? I don't know what is going on!
Zach Davis: You usually don't, Shannan.
With Ace Slaughter down in the corner, Jack Cash cannot help but flash his million-dollar smile while he grabs the dropped chair and then props it against the sternum of ‘The Superstar’. Jack Cash runs to the corner directly in front of Ace and quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle then points towards Ace Slaughter. The crowds cheering turns into a loud chorus of jeers as Ace Slaughter rolls underneath the bottom rope to the outside, leaving Jack Cash on the top turnbuckle and unable to deliver his Rags to Riches.
Shannan Lerch: I think the crowd wanted to see that one!
While Ace Slaughter retreats, Jack Cash asks to be handed the United States Championship. Once a WCF Stagehand hands it to him, Jack Cash walks over to where Kevin Hardaway is pulling himself to his feet and holds the Champions hardware out for him to grab. Kevin grabs onto the Championship and goes to pull it out of ‘The Monopoly Man’s’ grasp but he is met with some resistance! The crowd begins buzzing in anticipation of what will transpire but after the two men stare one another down for a few moments, Jack Cash releases his grip and makes his exit.
Zach Davis: Duh! I understand now Shannan... Jack Cash wants a shot at the United States Title also!
While Kevin Hardaway stands in the centre of the ring with a confused look in his face, Jack Cash makes his way up the ramp to an ovation from the crowd. Once he is on the stage, he turns around with his million-dollar smile still on his face and shouts something to Kevin that is caught on audio by the Cameraman following him.
Jack Cash: Ace Slaughter isn’t the only man who wants the United States Championship Kevin! Yours Truly is coming for it too!
Cash disappears behind the curtain as Hardaway tries to gather his wits and exits the ring.
Shannan Lerch: There you have it Zach. Ace Slaughter isn't the only man after the United States Title.
Zach Davis: Not a good night for Kevin Hardaway, Shannan, this is really heating up!
Hall of Fame Announcement
Kids by MGMT hits.
Zach Davis: Hmm? Well, that's the Slam theme, but... not sure what is going on here.
The crowd is buzzing, confused. Seth Lerch steps out from the back, and the fans are even more confused. He has a mic.
Seth Lerch: I really didn't want to get booed just because you guys heard my music playing, so no Master of Puppets this week. But anyway, I'm here to announce the next four men that will be inducted into the Hall of Fame!
Shannan Lerch: I'm excited!
Seth Lerch: Without further adieu.. the next inductee is..
The crowd cheers...
And an even bigger pop once the name is shown on the screen!
Seth Lerch: Skyler Striker is truly a Champion's Champion. A multiple time belt holder in WCF, more importantly than that he was the standout talent at a time when WCF was full of a LOT of standout talent. His feud with Danny Vice defined WCF at that time, as did his feud with Jack of Blades. And he won the first ever WCF Championship Series. He's one of the most talented individuals to ever step into a WCF ring, bar none.
Zach Davis: Can't argue with that, Shannan!
Shannan Lerch: Who would want to?
Seth Lerch: This next name is almost more difficult for me to announce than Logan was, but.. sigh.. the next inductee is..
The audience braces themselves.
Zach Davis: WOW!
Shannan Lerch: The man that nearly bankrupted WCF getting into its Hall of Fame!?
Seth Lerch: I know, I know. But its a Hall of Fame, not a Hall of Guys I Respect or something, so he deserves to be in there. Gravedigger and the Dark Side were a driving force behind WCF in its early days and even in this most recent incarnation. That fact alone earns him a spot in the Hall of Fame. But he's also been one of the most dominant World Champions we've ever seen. And, yeah, he almost put the company out of business when he ran it for a few months, so that makes him pretty famous too.
Zach Davis: I wonder what Gravedigger is thinking. Oh lordy.
Seth Lerch: Next up, five individuals are inducted as a group. These men have all held the Tag Team Titles, these men are...
The audience is once again on the edge of their seat.
THE MONSTER SQUAD AND THE DREADNOKS
Shannan Lerch: What?!
Zach Davis: I don't believe this one either!
Seth Lerch: I know, I know, kind of an odd choice. Little known WCF fact, the Monster Squad, Creeper and Hacker, and the Dreadnoks, Burn Out, Road Rage, and Ripper, were all managed by the same man behind the scenes: Frank Bates. And Frank Bates never gave up, he never surrendered, and even when times got tough he stuck by WCF. Win or lose, Frank Bates always showed up for the fight.
Shannan Lerch: Well.. fair enough!
Seth Lerch: Next up, another former World Champion, and an NCW legend....
The audience is on their feet.
Huge pop for Hellz Angel!
Zach Davis: Hellz was definitely a shoe-in, if I do say so myself!
Seth Lerch: That's right! Hellz Angel. His feuds with Outcast, Steve Carr, and Logan are legendary. He's another man that shaped WCF from the very beginning and no one deserves to be there as much as him. That's all for tonight, we have the last four wrestlers to be announced next week! See you then!
Kids by MGMT plays once more as Seth leaves.
Zach Davis: Well! We now know eight wrestlers that'll be inducted into the WCF Hall of Fame. Logan, Mace, PC Cradle, Outcast, Skyler Striker, Gravedigger, the Monster Squad and the Dreadnoks, and Hellz Angel. Can't wait to find out the final four.
Slickie T/Hector Rodriguez vs Greenfever/Jay Price
After a quick commercial break the cameras cut back to a shot of Shannan Lerch and Zach Davis sitting at the announcer's table.
Zach Davis: Shannan...
Shannan Lerch: Yes Zach?
Zach Davis: What time is it?
Shannan Lerch: *sigh* Main Event Time Zach.
Zach Davis: Woo-Hoo! My favorite time of the night.
Shannan Lerch: Let's take it to Kyle Steel.
Inside of the ring WCF announcer Kyle Steel is standing with a microphone in hand.
Kyle Steel: The following contest is a tag team match and it is for the WCF Television Title. Now if any of the opponents are able to pin the champion, that person will become the new Television Champion. Introducing first...
No One Gets Left Behind by Five Finger Death Punch starts playing and out from the back walks Carlos Estrada. Carlos walks to one of the sides of the ramp and takes off his Fedora and gestures to the crowd in attendance.
A few seconds later, Hector Rodriguez walks out and stands in the center of the ramp. He looks out at the crowd for a few seconds as they stand to their feet cheering for him. He finally raises both arms up in the air. Fireworks blast up on each side of him at the front of the ramp and then more fireworks fire up all the way down the front of the ramp.
Hector walks down the ramp followed by Carlos Estrada.
Kyle Steel: Being accompanied to the ring by Carlos Estrada, weighing in at two hundred and sixty pounds, from Toluca, Mexico....Hector Rodriguez!
The two men climb the ring steps and get inside the ring. Carlos stands in the middle while Hector walks to each side of the ring, holding up one arm to the crowd.
Kyle Steel: Introducing next his tag team partner...
The arena fades to black as a red, white, and green spotlights begin to circle the crowd and a red glow appears on the left side of the stage, a white glow in the middle, and a green glow on the right, as “Gravesend (Lake of Fire)” by Lordz of Brooklyn begins to blast over the speakers and the three lights come together in the center of the stage where Slickie T stands with his back turned to the crowd, his arms extended to form the shape of a “T”. He watches as the screen shows a roulette wheel spinning as the pill comes to settle on the green 00 space and the camera zooms in on the pill until the screen becomes completely white and then “Slickie T the Ace of Hardcore” scrolls across the screen in black in front of a waving Italian flag. Slickie then quickly turns as the pill settles in the 00 space and red, white, and green pyros explode behind him as he slowly makes his way down the ramp, slapping hands with those who are reaching out to him.
Kyle Steel: From Sicily Italy, weighing in at two hundred and fifteen pounds.....Slickie T Allen Guiliano.
As he reaches the ring, he quickly climbs the ring stairs, looking out over the crowd before grabbing the top rope and vaulting over the top of it and into the middle of the ring. After glancing over the crowd with a thin smile on his face, he climbs a turnbuckle and throws his arms out once again to form a “T” before backflipping off the top turnbuckle and back into the middle of the ring as the lights come up once again.
The lights drop inside the arena as "Run Rabbit Run" by Rob Zombie begins over the P.A. system.
Shannan Lerch: Get your vomit bags ready folks.
Zach Davis: I've had mine ready Shannan.
As the first verse kicks in Greenfever emerges from the darkness. His face and hands are dripping fresh blood. His clothes are covered in bloodstains. Some of them are old, some are brand new. In his hands he is carrying a small wastecan with a bag in it.
Shannan Lerch: What's that he's carrying.
Zach Davis: It looks like a trashcan. I wonder wha...
Greenfever reaches into the wastecan and pulls out a rotting, half-eaten apple and begins to munch on it as he starts down the ramp. Greenfever finishes off the apple, core and stem, and climbs into the ring. He walks over to the corner, climbs up it, and starts throwing rotten food into the crowd. Kyle Steel, Slickie T and Hector Rodriguez all climb out of the ring with their hands over their mouths.
The camera moves off of Greenfever and goes back to a shot of the announcers table. Zach Davis is still hunched over throwing up and Shannan Lerch is wiping her mouth with a towel.
Shannan Lerch: Okay let's try to get it together Zach. We do have a match to call here.
Zach Davis: Start without me....*puking sounds*.
Back inside the ring Kyle Steel is trying to regain his composure.
Kyle Steel: And their opponents. First from Pine Bluff Arkansas, weighing in at one hundred ninety pounds...Greenfever.
The fans all boo in unison as Greenfever continues to munch on food from the trashcan.
Kyle Steel: And his tag team partner......
The lights in the arena all go out except for two spotlights shining in the ring. The spotlights pan out into the crowd and begin circling the people in attendence as they all stand up and begin booing.
The spotlights go out and blasts of red and white pyro go off from the ends of the stage. The spotlights come back on, this time focused on the center of the stage as Lloyd Banks "Lights, Camera, Packin" begins blasting out of the arena's PA system. The big screen is still black but the word Kiladelphia, written in bold white letters, begins fading in and out. One more blast of red and white pyro go off at the ends of the stage as silver sparks rain down on the center. Jay Price steps out from behind the falling sparks with his head down, both spotlights now focused on him. He's dressed in his ring attire, consisting of red wrestling boots with black laces and black shorts. His Television title belt is wrapped around his waist and both of his hands are resting on the face plate just above where his name is engraved. The big screen is now showing various moments from Price's career, including his win over Anastasia Petrova where he won the TV Title, the moment at WAR where he stood proudly alongside Torture after aligning himself with the ToT, and various instances of him hitting the Busted Grill and Kiladelphia Driver.
Kyle Steel: From Philadelphia Pennsylvania, weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds, he is the WCF Television Champion....Jay Price.
Price stands at the top of the ramp as the crowd begins booing him and chanting random obscenities at him, but he shows no signs of caring what they think. The lights at this time are still out as both spotlights continue to shine on him. He lifts his head and stares down Slickie T and Hector with a smirk on his face. He takes the belt off of his waist and places it over his right shoulder as he begins to walk down the ramp slowly, taking his time to make the opponent wait on him. Price stands at the bottom of the ramp and looks over at the announcers table and smiles at Shannan. Shannan in return smiles and gives a small wave.
Zach Davis: Sigh.. how cute.
Shannan Lerch: He certainly is!
Price makes his way to the ring steps while the crowds booing intensifies because he is taking his time, but he doesn't give a shit. He finally makes his way into the ring where he holds the title belt high above his head for everyone to see, closing his eyes as he seems to soak in the boos that are raining down on him. Finally he hands the belt off to the referee and steps back towards his corner. Once he reaches his corner the spotlights that were shining on him go out and the arena's lights come back on. Price walks over to Greenfever and whispers something into his ear. Greenfever looks at him, then back at the trashcan, then at Price once more before nodding. Greenfever takes the trashcan and throws it out into the crowd before shaking hands with Price. Price looks down at his hand and shakes his head in disgust from the trash juices. He walks over and pats the dirty hand on Kyle's back, telling him that he's doing a good job. Kyle heads out of the ring and the referee signals for the bell to start the match.
Zach Davis: And we can finally get this match started. So many storylines involved in this match. You have the Rodriguez and Price feud that has been the talk of the town now for weeks. It's been violent, it's been personal, and at times it's been downright hard to watch. On the other hand we have Slickie T and Greenfever. Who can forget the match these two had at XIII? Greenfever, under orders from Seth Lerch himself, tried to end the career of Slickie by dropping him twelve feet off a ledge into a shallow fountain. This match may be under normal rules, but I expect it to get brutal very quickly.
Shannan Lerch: Defiantly.
Zach Davis: It looks like Hector is going to start for his team and Greenfever for his.
Inside of the ring Greenfever and Hector meet up face to face but Hector isn't paying any attention to Greenfever.
Zach Davis: And Hector is staring right at Jay Price. I swear Shannan, if looks could kill.
Shannan Lerch: That would be horrible. Why would anyone want to stare Jay to death?
Hector looks Greenfever in the eyes and points at Price, demanding that Greenfever tags him in. Greenfever looks over at Price who just shrugs his shoulders and sticks his hand out for the tag. Greenfever walks over and tags him in.
Zach Davis: And here we go. Rodriguez and Price.
Price steps through the ropes and walks up to Hector in the center of the ring. The crowd goes silent as Price and Rodriguez go toe-to-toe, eye-to-mask.
Zach Davis: This is intense.
Neither man budges as they continue the stare down. Price begins trash talking Hector but he does nothing. Price continues and without warning Hector grabs him and throws him to the ground.
Shannan Lerch: I guess Price finally found a sore spot.
Price hits the ground and immediately rolls out of the ring looking somewhat suprised. Hector goes to follow Price out of the ring but the referee stops him midway. With the referee's back turned Slickie takes advantage and runs along the ring apron, jumping off with a dropkick to Price.
Zach Davis: Oh and Slickie with the quick offense.
Slickie runs back to his corner of the ring as the referee turns back and begins to count Price out.
Greenfever hops off of the apron and goes to help Price back into the ring.
Greenfever grabs hold of Price and lifts him to his feet.
Greenfever pushes Price up and under the bottom rope and the referee stops the count. Hector grabs hold of Price and lifts him to his feet before whipping him into the ropes. Price bounces off and comes back at Hector who hits him with a big powerslam. He goes for the quick pin.
Shannan Lerch: And Price kicks out before the two count.
Hector gets up and again grabs Price before whipping him into the ropes. Price bounces off and comes back at Hector who goes to hit him with a clothesline....but Price ducks it. Price hits the ropes behind Hector and comes back with a chop block to the back of the knee. Hector drops to one knee for just a moment but Price takes advantage by hitting a kick to the chest that takes Hector to his back. Price with the pin attempt.
Zach Davis: And Hector kicks out with force sending Price several feet away.
Price gets up with a look of shock on his face as Hector gets to his feet seemingly unfazed by the offense. He looks at Price and comes at him trying to lock up. Price obliges and they tie up in the center of the ring. Hector takes control quickly and puts Price in a headlock.
Zach Davis: Hector in control and Price is in trouble. He has that headlock locked in pretty tight.
Hector torques the neck of Price as he tries to find a way out of the hold. Price reaches out for the ropes but they are too far away. Price begins throwing elbows to the abdomen of Rodriguez but he remains unfazed. Hector backs up to the ropes dragging Price and bounces off before hitting a running bulldog. Hector goes for the pinfall as Greenfever jumps up to the top rope.
Shannan Lerch: And Greenfever leaps off with a splash on top of Hector breaking up the pinfall attempt.
Zach Davis: And Hector looks rather annoyed.
Hector rolls off of Price and gets up looking at Greenfever. Greenfever charges at Hector and hits him with a shoulder block that knocks him back a few steps but not down. Greenfever bounces off of the ropes and again hits him with a shoulder block but it has the same result. He goes off of the ropes a third time and charges at Hector but is hit with a big boot to the face that knocks him down. Behind him Price is back to his feet and is waiting patiently.
Zach Davis: Hector took his eyes off of Price and he might just regret it.
Hector turns around and is met with a kick to the stomach from a recovered Price. Price follows it up by hitting the ropes and coming back with a swinging neckbreaker that finally takes the big man down. The crowd boos as Price gets up with a cocky smirk on his face and walks over to his corner, tagging in Greenfever.
Shannan Lerch: And now it's Greenfever's turn to get in on the action.
Greenfever storms into the ring and grabs hold of Hector, who was trying to get back to his feet. Greenfever grabs him by the head and nails him with a headbutt that seems to daze him slightly. Greenfever grabs him and hits him with another headbutt.
Zach Davis: It's hard to tell who has the harder head.
Greenfever kicks him in the stomach and then whips him into the ropes. Hector hits the ropes and bounces off. Greenfever bends over for a back body drop but Hector is able to stop himself and hits Greenfever with a kick to the midsection. Hector grabs hold of him and whips him into the ropes with enough force to send him over the top rope and out onto the arena floor.
Shannan Lerch: How strong is this guy? I mean damn that was impressive.
Hector uses the sudden burst of energy to make it to his corner and he tags in a fresh and amped up Slickie T. Slickie enters the ring and runs toward the ropes before leapfrogging over them and hitting a cross body drop on Greenfever, who was just starting to get back to his feet. Slickie continuing the offense with a series of kicks to the head and midsection before lifting him up and whipping him into the barricade.
Zach Davis: You had to know this was coming. You had to know that Slickie was itching to get his hands on Greenfever after he tried to not only end his career, but possibly even his life, at XIII.
Shannan Lerch: I still remember watching the end of that match unfold. Watching Slickie's body fall all the way from that balcony into that fountain.......*shudders*
Slickie grabs Greenfever by the head and slams it into the barricade. The referee inside of the ring is yelling for Slickie to bring it back inside but Slickie is ignoring him, remaining focused on getting revenge. The referee begins his count.
Hector hops off the apron and runs over towards Slickie.
Hector grabs Slickie on the arm to get his attention and yells that he's going to get them counted out and they'll lose the match. Hector grabs hold of Greenfever and lifts him up onto the apron before pushing him under the ropes. Slickie nods at Hector and slides back into the ring.
Zach Davis: And Hector just saved the match for his team. You have to believe Slickie would have stayed out there slamming Greenfever's head into that barricade well past the ten count if Hector hadn't talked some sense into him.
Back inside the ring Slickie has Greenfever back on his feet and he whips into the ropes. Greenfever bounces off and comes back. Slickie goes for a clothesline but Greenfever ducks it and comes back for a clothesline of his own...but Slickie ducks that. Greenfever turns around and Slickie nails him with the Omerta.
Shannan Lerch: The Omerta. Slickie just nailed Greenfever in the jaw with that kick and he may be out cold.
Slickie goes for the pinfall.
Zach Davis: And Price from out of nowhere breaks up the pin attempt.
Price gets up and runs right at Hector on the apron and hits him with a dropkick that knocks him off. He gets back up and grabs hold of Slickie before throwing him into the corner. Price runs right at Slickie before jumping up and hitting him with a knee to the head. Price grabs hold of Greenfever and drags him over to their corner before climbing back out onto the apron. Price holds his hand out waiting for the tag. Greenfever slowly recovers and realizes where is he as he reaches up and tags in Price.
Shannan Lerch: And there's the tag and in comes Jay Price.
Price climbs through the ropes and heads immediately for the downed Slickie T. Price grabs him by the legs and pulls him out into the center of the ring before applying the Lockdown.
Zach Davis: Oh and this brutal submission hold. I don't know if Sli..
Hector from out of nowhere hits Price from behind with a stiff kick to the back of the head and Price let's the hold go. Hector grabs Price and lifts him to his feet before throwing him into the ropes. Price bounces off the ropes and comes back at Hector who hits him with a big powerslam. Hector gets back up and turns around only to be hit with a dropkick off the top rope by Greenfever. He drags Hector over to the ropes, eventually pulling him out of the ring and onto the arena floor. Inside of the ring Slickie is back to his feet and he sees Price on the mat struggling to get back up. He heads for the corner and climbs up to the top rope. Price is up to his feet and is struggling to stay up. Slickie waits for the right moment and leaps off looking for the Ace Of Spades. Price sees him at the last second and ducks out of the way but Slickie somehow manages to land upright on his feet. Price with his back turned to Slickie doesn't see that he landed on his feet. Slickie hits Price from behind with a running forearm shot before attempting to set him up for the T-Bone.
Shannan Lerch: Slickie trying to end the match here.
Slickie locks up Prices arms and tries to spin him around but Price somehow blocks it. Price gets his arms free and pushes Slickie off of him. Slickie turns around and is hit with a standing dropkick by Price. Outside of the ring Greenfever has Hector up against the barricade and is hitting him with shot after shot to the chest. Greenfever steps back and runs at Hector with a clothesline, taking both of them over the barricade and into the crowd. The referee is still focused on the action inside of the ring and has yet to notice what is going on outside the ring. Back in the ring Price is in the corner trying to get his wits back as Slickie is up to his knees. Price runs at Slickie and hits him with a kick to the chest. He follows that up with a kick to the back that sends Slickie down on his hands and knees. Price backs up and runs at Slickie before hitting him a kick to the side of the head.
Shannan Lerch: Hit and Run. Slickie is in trouble now.
Price looks down at Slickie and then over at the corner. Then back at Slickie. Then over at the ropes. Price heads over to the ropes and hops up to the top turnbuckle. He takes a deep breath and leaps off with the moonsault.
Zach Davis: WTF Maneuver. If he hits this the matc...
Slickie T rolls out of the way at the last moment and Price somehow lands on his feet. Slickie T gets up with his back to Price and he doesn't seem to realize that Price landed on his feet.
Zach Davis: Shades of earlier in the match when Slickie went high risk and Price avoided it.
Slickie turns around and is met with a stiff kick to the stomach. Price pulls him in and goes for a suplex but Slickie blocks it. Price hits him in the back with a forearm and goes for another suplex attempt. Slickie again blocks it. Price hits with another forearm and goes yet again for a suplex. This time he gets Slickie up but Slickie maneuvers himself around and lands on his feet behind Price. Price turns around and Slickie hits him with a right. The two begin to trade shots with each other withe neither man gaining an advantage. Price goes to hit Slickie with a right but Slickie ducks it and kicks Price in the shins. Price bends down to clutch his leg and Slickie uses the oportunity to kick Price in the head. Price goes down to one knee and Slickie backs up looking for the Omerta.
Zach Davis: He already hit this earlier in the match on Greenfever. If he hits it here on Price you can bet it ends the match.
The crowd is cheering Slickie on as Price is trying to get back to his feet. Slickie looking focused patiently waits as Price rises up. Price finally gets to his feet and turns around. Slickie steps forward and gets his leg up but Price ducks it and rolls Slickie up with a schoolboy.
Shannan Lerch: And Price did it! Price pinned Slickie T!
Zach Davis: And Slickie looks pissed as hell.
Slickie is up in the referee's face saying that it was a fast count but the referee insists that it was valid. Another official comes to the ropes and hands Price his title belt as he begins to celebrate to the chorus of boos. Slickie sees Price celebrating and attacks him from behind with a running forearm shot. Price goes down and Slickie gets on top of him, hitting a series of punches to the head.
Zach Davis: Slickie's frustration level has reached it's boiling point and Price is feeling his wrath.
Slickie continues to hit Price with shot after shot as Greenfever and Hector continue brawling outside of the ring.
Shannan Lerch: This is chaos. Someon..
From behind the curtain Ryan Daniels emerges and runs down the ramp.
Zach Davis: And here comes Price's fellow ToT member Ryan Daniels to help him
Daniels slides into the ring and tackles Slickie from behind. The two of them begin brawling as Price gets to his feet and helps Daniels to fight Slickie. Outside of the ring Hector is slowly gaining an advantage over Greenfever as he has him up against the barricade and is hitting him with chops. In all of the chaos Carlos Estrada has made his way to beside the announcer's table and grabbed a chair and is now making his way to the apron.
Shannan Lerch: What's Carlos up to with that chair? Is he going to try and get involved to help Slickie?
Zach Davis: Maybe not the best idea with Price and Daniels in there.
Estrada is standing on the apron, chair in hand, making noise to get their attention away from Slickie. Price continues to focus on Slickie as Daniels becomes distracted by Estrada. Carlos begins motioning Daniels to come for him.
Zach Davis: Is Carlos challenging Daniels to attack him?
Shannan Lerch: It looks that way.
Behind Daniels, Slickie T nails Price with a low blow giving him the upper hand. Slickie grabs Price and whips him toward the ropes and runs behind him. As Price hits the ropes Slickie is right there to clothesline him over the top. Slickie stops at the ropes and looks over at Price on the arena floor. Daniels turns around to attack Slickie from behind but Carlos again gets his attention.
Zach Davis: What is Carlo....what the hell!
Carlos throws the chair into the ring and into Daniels hands. Daniels looks at Carlos who smiles and nods his head.
Shannan Lerch: What??? Is Carlos helping the ToT?
Zach Davis: What is this all about? Carlos and Hector have always been vocal about their hatred for the ToT. What is he doing?
Shannan Lerch: Does this mean Carlos is joining the ToT? What about Hector?
Zach Davis: I don't know but whate...
Daniels, chair in hand, turns around to go after Slickie but Hector from out of nowhere nails him with a vicious Clothesline From Hell that sends the chair into Daniels face. Carlos begins smiling on the apron as Daniels is lying on the mat bleeding from the nose and mouth.
Zach Davis: It was all a set-up. Carlos set up Daniels to think he was helping him and allowed Hector to take him out. Carlos enters the ring and raises Hector's hand up high as they begin circling the ring to the fans cheers. Price uses the opportunity to grab Daniels and pull him out of the ring, checking to see if he's even concious. Hector sees Price and comes over to the ropes and attempts to go through them to the outside when Slickie comes up behind him and grabs his shoulder. Hector thinking it's Greenfever turns around ready to hit him but Slickie backs up with his hands in the air. The two stand facing each other for several seconds before Slickie extends his hand and Hector shakes it. Slickie raises Hector's hand up in the air as the crowd loudly pops for them both.
Suddenly Crawl by Kings of Leon hits the speakers and everyone in the arena looks up towards the stage as Torture makes his way out through the curtain with the World Championship belt on his shoulder.
Shannan Lerch: Torture? This could get really interesting.
But Torture doesn't move from the stage as Greenfever and Price make their way up the ramp with Price helping Daniels to walk. Slickie is in the ring and he and Torture are staring each other down.
Zach Davis: This is intense.
Hector is at the ropes beside Slickie and Greenfever looks back at him. Hector points right at Greenfever and does a cutting motion across his throat. Greenfever seems unfazed as the crowd pops for Hector and Slickie once more. Carlos steps between both of them and lifts their hands up as all three walk around the ring to the crowds approval. From the top of the stage Torture, Greenfever and Price all stand watching the scene in the ring as the WCF logo comes across the bottom of the screen.
