WCF Sunday Slam Intro
Glasgow Megasnake by Mogwai hits, and as always, this means that Sunday Slam is on the air! The crowd erupts in cheers as the pyro blasts and all of that nonsense. We go to the announcers.
Zach Davis: Welcome to the first post-Hellimination Slam!
Shannan Lerch: THE NEW DYNASTY IS NO MORE!
Zach Davis: Sadly, Shannan is correct. At Slam, we saw the Team of Treachery out-treacheried, if you will... by Torture, turning on his former best friend Creeping Death and turning his back on the fans and the New Dynasty.
Shannan Lerch: But Torture is a fighting Champion! He's a good man, and he has already decided to put his belt on the line against Nate Nytro!
Zach Davis: Wonderful. Interesting that he isn't in the ring against Creeping Death or Dake Ken.
Shannan Lerch: Those two don't deserve shots at his belt.
Zach Davis: Well Shannan,-
Master of Puppets by Metallica hits.
Zach Davis: God damn it.
Team of Treachery Segment
Seth Lerch steps out first, followed by Logan, Jack of Blades, and JJ Biggs. Lawnmower Jones is absent. These four men walk to the ring to a chorus of boos, and some people throw trash. Logan, Lerch, Jack and Biggs all have smirks on their faces, however, not caring at all. They get into the ring, and Seth gets a microphone.
Seth Lerch: Everyone knows it already, but I'll shove it down your throats. THE TEAM OF TREACHERY DOES. NOT. LOSE.
Booing. Of course.
Seth Lerch: Was the Hellimination match ever in question? Team of Treachery wins. Check. Torture doesn't let himself get pinned. Check. And all of you fools paid money to buy it, thinking that your precious New Dynasty might actually get the win over us?! Ha!
Seth looks around at the crowd, laughing to himself, before continuing.
Seth Lerch: Whatever. Two things. Number one, you may notice that the man of the hour, the man that killed the New Dynasty, Lawnmower Jones, isn't here. He and Lonnie are in the back, and they'll talk for themselves later on in the show. Second of all, you'll notice that Jack of Blades and JJ Biggs are both wearing gold, and Logan is not. Well it is about time that changes.
Logan nods, and takes the mic.
Logan: All you boudles need to shut up and let the Face of Treachery speak. Last week, me and the ToT decimated the New Dynasty, and now its about time I got my World Title rematch! Torture, you can't defend against nobodies like Nate Nytro all the time. So, Torture-
Bullet with a Name by Nonpoint hits, and out steps Reckless Jack.
Logan: Reckless Boudle? What the hell are you doing out here?
Reckless Jack: Logan,-
Logan: SHUT UP!
Reckless Jack totally ignores Logan telling him to shut up, and continues talking.
Reckless Jack: -I'm only out here to say that I agree with you on one thing. Torture DOES need to give someone besides Nate Nytro a Title shot... but that someone is ME.
Logan: You? HA! Listen, why don't you go back there and go hump some barbed wire lighttubes or whatever you hardcore freaks like to do. The World Title is for REAL wrestlers, not garbage wrestlers.
Reckless Jack: Oh, ouch. Real hurt, Logan, real hurt. Your boy Jack of Blades is going to find out later tonight how hardcore I can be. Regardless, I'm not asking, I'm TELLING, I'm getting the World Title shot before you ever do.
Logan: Oh yeah? Gonna go through the whole ToT, big guy?
Reckless Jack: As a matter of fact, I am!
Reckless Jack advances towards the ring, as the ToT prepares for a fight.... until the Slam theme hits again. Kyle Steel walks out from the back! Reckless Jack stops and turns around, interested in what the man that represents the "powers that be" of WCF has to say.
Kyle Steel: I know, I haven't been seen around here for a while, because I haven't needed to be. But this is getting out of hand. Logan, you want a Title shot? Reckless Jack, YOU want a Title shot? Well sorry guys, but neither of you are getting one this month.
Both Jack and Logan look pissed. Seth too.
Kyle Steel: In fact, I'm not going to play around, I'm going to announce it right now. The main event for Revenge will be Creeping Death getting the World Title shot against Torture!
The crowd ROARS in approval.
Kyle Steel: As for you, Jack, and you, ToT... well, Jack, you just prepare for your match tonight. You too, Blades and Biggs. Get me some good ratings, put on a good show, and then MAYBE you'll be able to ask for some World Title shots. See you then, good luck tonight everybody! And enjoy Slam, fans!
The Slam theme plays again, and Kyle walks to the back. Seth runs and grabs the mic from Logan.
Seth Lerch: YOU CAN'T DO THAT! The Team of Treachery DESERVES a World Title shot, not that no-talent hack Creeping Death!
Reckless Jack: Yeah right. If anyone gets that shot, it is me. I've beaten Creeping Death before, I've beaten Logan, and I'll beat Torture too.
Seth Lerch: You'll have to go through the entire Team of Treachery first, Jack. I'm telling you.
Reckless Jack: Be careful what you wish for, Lerch.
Bullet with a Name hits again, and Jack heads to the back, leaving the Team of Treachery pissed off in the ring.
Zach Davis: Well, on the bright side, we got a match signed for Revenge!
Shannan Lerch: And I get to see Creeping Death get his ass kicked!
Zach Davis: But for now, lets get this show rolling. Every match tonight is a Title match, and first up is the People's Title.
People's Title Match
David Alastair vs Outcast vs Thunder
The beginning of "Moonshield" by In Flames introduces a sheet of light fog, which covers the entrance way. Seen at the right angle, one can manage to see a figure standing behind the fog. About 49 seconds into the song, an entourage of sound hits the WCF Arena as David Alastair (in his hooded trenchcoat) steps out of the fog. A mix of cheers and jeers reign down on David, but he inhales, exhales, and looks around, as if scanning the path before him. "Tired of dull ages, I walk the same ground, collecting the tragedies still... Hollow ambitions in a hollow mind carried my cross to the hill..." rings into the sound system, David spreads his arms outward and stays like that until the chorus comes in. David then proceeds down the ramp and slides into the ring. David proceeds to taunt on the nearest turnbuckle. He embraces the mixed reactions by extending his arms out and slowly steps off the turnbuckle, awaiting his opponent...
Zach Davis: This is David Alastair's third shot at the People's Title.
''God of Thunder'' by KISS hits and the fans pop. Outcast walks out almost like a man possesed. Once again showing no visible emotion, ocassional he will smile, but on a very rare occasion. He slides into the ring and goes to his respected corner..just waiting
"Money" by Pink Floyd begins to play. As the cash register sound ends and the music begins, Thunder walks towards the ring. He reaches the apron and climbs the turnbuckle, taunting the fans.
As soon as he enters the ring, Thunder is attacked by Alastair. Alastair lays in several punches that send Thunder into the corner.
Shannan Lerch: It's obvious there's still some unfinished business between these two.
A few more punches cause Thunder to slump down into the corner. Alastair runs towards him and hits The Slide Home.
Shannan Lerch: He may have knocked some of Thunder's teeth out with that facewash!
Zach Davis: Thunder may already be out of this match.
Outcast sneaks up behind Alastair and rolls him up with a schoolboy.
Kickout by Alastair. Upon getting up, Alastair is hit with a belly to belly suplex. Outcast pulls Alastair towards the turnbuckle and climbs up.
Zach Davis: Outcast is going for the Black Out early.
Alastair blocks it and hits an emerald froisen off the top rope.
Shannan Lerch: Outcast landed right on his head! This has to be it!
Alastair goes for the cover.
Thunder breaks it up. He pulls up Alastair and attempts a suplex, but Alastair blocks it. Alastair lifts Thunder up for the Michinoku Driver, but Outcast clips him. Outcast pulls Alastair back up to the turnbuckle and hits the Black Out, followed by a cover.
Thunder breaks it up by locking Outcast in the Cobra Clutch.
Shannan Lerch: Outcast could tap out here.
Alastair reaches his feet and superkicks Outcast, sending Thunder down in the process. With Thunder in perfect position for the Believer's End, Alastair climbs the top rope.
Zach Davis: Alastair's going to finally win the title once he hits the Believer's End.
Before Alastair can hit the move, Thunder jumps to his feet. He runs up the ropes and hits the Thunder and Lightning off the top rope.
Shannan Lerch: Oh my God! Thunder and Lightning off the top rope! That's got to be it!
Thunder quickly pins, hooking the leg.
Zach Davis: That was it!
The bell rings. Thunder stands up, and takes his People's Title.
Shannan Lerch: This man is unstoppable. He defends that belt week in and week out, and he's defeated everyone in his path.
Thunder rolls out, Title over his shoulder, and heads to the back after another succesful defense.
The lights go out. Everyone begins to wonder what is happening. Security is hustling about trying to correct the problem. Just when things look their worst, the jumbotron comes on and all you see are the words: "Attention men and some ladies! Lock up your women, because the man that will steal them away is coming here to the WCF!" A woman's voice comes on and breathes heavily. The crowd seems stunned. Men are laughing but all the women are wondering who could this be? Shannan Lerch comes on the pa system.
Shannan Lerch: Yes ladies!! He is here and to all the fellows out there be prepared to be upstaged and have your women stolen from you. The man, the myth, the legend and the most exceptional lightweight!! Not to mention one damn handsome man is here and his name is THE PAC!!!
Shannan screams in ecstasy as a picture of The Pac comes on the screen. He is sitting in between Mena and Gwen on the front of Pac's candy apple red Porsche Boxster. Hank Brown walks over to Pac and can't seem to take his eyes off of Gwen and Mena. Pac throws a sarcastic smile toward the camera. Pac begins to speak.
The Pac: Look Hank, these girls are mine and maybe if you brush your teeth, comb that hair of yours and get out of that penguin suit you call a tux. Then maybe you could have ladies like these two fine little mamas. No I was just kidding. You can't ever be as good as me. So this is what I have to say. The roster is filled with guys that think they can beat me. The arena is full with guys that can't reach the remote because of thier beer bellies and all the woman out there will start to wonder why they are stuck with the losers/couch potatoes they have now. Well ladies I'm here and make sure you tune in every week to get away from your life and dream of things to come. Guys your days are numbered.
Pac begins to laugh as poor Hank Brown walks away. The camera turns off and finally the lights come back on with women are cooing and all the guys are trying to shield their ladies' eyes.
Tag Team Titles Match
Davey Ortega/AJ Storm vs JJ Biggs/???
''Who Made Who'' by AC/DC hits as Davey comes out waving to the fans, and high fiveing people at ringside. He slides in the ring and climbs the turnbuckle, raising his hands up high.
"Twisted Transistor" begins to play over the P.A. System and all over the front of the stage smoke begins to shoot out. A.J. Storm and Ashley Storm appear in front of the cloud of smoke and A.J. holds out both of his arms to his side. Ashley stands behind A.J. and puts her arms around A.J.'s waist. After a few seconds, A.J. begins to walk down the ramp with Ashley following closely behind. A.J. than slides into the ring and runs over to the turnbuckle across the ring and leaps up on the second turnbuckle and poses.
"Voices" by Disturbed hits the PA System as the crowd begins to boo. JJ Biggs walks out onto the stage followed by his manager, Jake Hudson. The two of them slowly make their way down to the ring. JJ Biggs climbs onto the apron and he steps over the top rope while Hudson walks up the steps and he enters the ring through the middle rope. Hudson heads over to the ring announcer and takes the microphone away.
Zach Davis: Looks like JJ is finally going to introduce us to his long-awaited tag team partner.
Shannan Lerch: I really hope its Logan. I would love to see the Face of Treachery and that monster JJ Biggs. Or what if it’s Lawnmower Jones, the man who deserves to have gold around his waist ever since Creeping Death STOLE the TV Title from him.
Zach Davis: Settle down Shannan, we’re about to find out.
Jake Hudson: Well, I know that everyone has been waiting for the big announcement on who JJ’s partner is going to be, but sadly, he’s late.
The crowd begins to boo loudly.
Zach Davis: Not this bullshit again, God.
Jake Hudson: I’m serious. He called me and his flight is late getting here. He will be here as soon as he can get here. He’s very excited for this match.
Shannan Lerch: What if it’s someone new?
Zach Davis: Didn’t you see that clip of Jake on the phone earlier this week? He said you’ve been here for awhile and deserve some gold. Idiot.
Shannan Lerch: Hey! I am not...
Zach Davis: Quiet, the bell rang.
Storm and Ortega discuss who will begin the match, but before they can decide Biggs hits Davey with a big boot sending him over the top rope to the outside. Ortega and Biggs lock up near the ring post, but it only results in Biggs tossing Storm with a release overhead choke suplex. Biggs walks over and grabs Storm by the hair, lifts him to his feet, and drives him to the mat with a two-handed chokeslam just as Ortega climbs to the top rope. He leaps off to hit cross-body block but is caught by Biggs. Biggs walks him over to the ropes very matter of factly throws him over the top rope and onto the guard rail on the outside. Ortega’s head seems to be bleeding from the contact with the steel rail outside.
Shannan Lerch: Well it looks as if Biggs doesn’t need a teammate the way he’s handling these two so far.
Storm hits Biggs in the back with a forearm as he’s looking at Ortega on the outside, then two quick kicks to the back of the knees drops the big man to his knees, allowing Storm to dropkick him in the back of the head, putting Biggs hanging on the middle rope.
Zach Davis: Spoke to soon. Hell, Storm could hit a tiger feint kick here if he wanted.
Storm runs off the opposite ropes and dives over the top rope to the outside, grabbing Biggs head and snapping it across the second rope on his way to the arena floor!
Crowd: HOLY SHIT!
Zach Davis: Wow! AJ Storm showing some great innovation there.
Shannan Lerch: Eh, average.
Storm crawls back into the ring as Biggs holds his neck in the ring. Ortega is tagged in by Storm and immediately stomps several times across Biggs neck, before hitting the ropes and hitting a leg drop across the throat. Ortega then lifts Biggs to his feet and hits him with several kicks to the legs, before locking a side headlock and tagging in Storm. Storm gives Biggs a kick to the guy, followed by a quick DDT.
Shannan Lerch: Whoever that partner is, he had better get here soon.
Zach Davis: JJ surely is in trouble right now.
Storm tags himself back out as Davey Ortega climbs to the top rope. Storm holds Biggs arms out over his head while lying on his back, and Ortega hits a big splash from the top rope. Ortega with the cover.
Zach Davis: 1.......2........kickout by Biggs. Not bad for this team-that-really-isn’t-a-team of Ortega and Storm tonight.
Shannan Lerch: Relax Davis, they’re facing one guy. And he’s a former World Champion. I’m not worried at all.
Ortega tags Storm back in and holds Biggs in a similar fashion as Storm did a moment ago. Storm climbs to the top turnbuckle, where he feels very much at home. He leaps and hits a corkscrew leg drop across the chest of Biggs. Ortega gives Biggs two extra stomps before being forced from the ring by the official. Storm goes over to see what the matter is in his corner as Jake Hudson slides JJ Biggs one of the tag titles from outside the ring, then leaps on the apron right next to Ortega and the referee who are all still arguing. Biggs slowly climbs to his feet with the title in hand as Storm begins to walk back towards him in the center of the ring. Biggs swings and missed and storm superkicks the title right into the face of Biggs. The title goes flying out of the ring and Ortega goes for the cover, but the referee is distracted still, now primarily by Jake Hudson.
Zach Davis: 1-2-3! 1-2-3! Come on this match should be over. The title should change hands!
Shannan Lerch: There is no count yet, and look in the corner, it’s The Vagrant!
Danny Vice has climbed out of the crowd in full wrestling attire and scaled the top rope. AJ Storm is still covering Biggs with the leg hooked, while Vice leaps from the top rope and hits Halo on top of Storm. Storm rolls over off of Biggs as Vice gets out of the ring and into his corner. Hudson jumps down from the ring apron and the referee turns to see both legal men out in the center of the ring.
Zach Davis: The Vagrant is Biggs partner and the newest member of the Team of Treachery. But he just cheated Storm and Ortega out of WCF gold.
Shannan Lerch: He did not, he just made the heroic save. Come on Danny!
7! Biggs begins to stir.
8! Biggs gets to his knees as Storm begins to stir.
9! Biggs is on his feet, breaking the referees count.
Biggs tags a reaching Vice in as Storm dives across the ring to tag in Ortega. Both men come barreling into the ring together and Ortega hits a clothesline. Vice pops back up and takes another clothesline. Then up again and third clothesline. Vice is up once more and gets a kick to the gut followed by a belly-to-belly suplex from Ortega. Vice is disoriented as Ortega is in the corner waiting to hit the Setting Sun and finish this match. The crowd begins to climb to their feet in anticipation of Ortega’s finishing spear. Vice begins to get to his feet, but as Ortega begins to run he is nearly tripped by Jake Hudson from the outside who grabbed Davey’s leg. Ortega turns around as the referee signals for Hudson to not interfere in the match. However, Vice has caught his balance and hits Ortega with a spinning superkick, or as he calls it, the Outkast. Ortega looks out on his feet as Danny sets him up and delivers Rejection. Cover made as Biggs comes across the ring and knocks Storm off the apron.
Zach Davis: 1.......2..........3! Dammit, the Biggs and Vice retain.
Shannan Lerch: YES! First my boys get rid of the New Dynasty, and now they add The Vagrant! Wooooohoooooo! Yes!
Zach Davis: At least you’re remaining neutral to this all.
“Rookie” by Boy Sets Fire hits the speakers as Hudson enters the ring to give the tag titles to the champions. Vice clings to the title and falls to his knees, kissing the gold plate as his first WCF title. The fans boo loudly at the rule manipulation done by Biggs, Vice, and Hudson, tonight.
Sick Individuals SegmentOur scene opens to a black screen and the following words written in white:
FROM THE DESK OF:
W. KENNETH R. PETERDON, III, ESQ.
ATTORNEY AT LAW
And we quickly move right into the office of Mr. Peterdon, as he sits in his brown leather desk chair behind his large oak desk. His hands are folded in front of him, on top of an desk mat and some paperwork. Smiling pictures of himself and what we would assume to be his family sit on the desk as well. On the wall behind him, are about 6 framed diplomas. Mr. Peterdon speaks.
Mr. Peterdon: Good day to all of you out there. For those that do not know me, my name is W. Kenneth R. Peterdon the Third. I am the official attorney for Mr. Chad W. Allen and Mr. Conrad B. Howell, collectively known to all of you out there at the "Sick Individuals".
Mr. Peterdon does indeed make "air quotes" as he says that.
Mr. Peterdon: Recently the Sick Individuals were granted a tag team title match, which they obviously deserved. However, it took much begging and pleading to get this match, as the "Higher Ups" in the WCF seem to want to ignore actual talent in favor of a group of "buddies" or "cliques" and the wants and needs of that select few that use their ill gained political powers. Even though many of these men are past their primes, whether it be by age or injury, they do the best they can to keep a glass ceiling above the incoming talent like the Sick Individuals.
Mr. Peterdon adjusts in his chair a bit, leaning forward, becoming more serious.
Mr. Peterdon: They do things like put in biased referees into matches involving my clients, so that whatever unfair tactics the opponents can think of suddenly become legal. Also, they enjoy putting them into matches that involve more than one team, so that even if they aren't the team that is pinned, they still do not get a fair chance to fight for the belts.
Peterdon sits back in his chair.
Mr. Peterdon: Now I am not saying that the Sick Individuals have not done some "colorful" things in the brief time they have been in the WCF, but as the shirt sales, hits to the Sick Individuals webpage, and other factors have shown, they are one of the most followed and talked about tag teams in the business today, especially in an industry that does not think as highly of tag team wrestling as it once used to. Simply put, the Sick Individuals are at the top of the game right now, and they are not going to take these indignities lying down anymore. As of today, I have notified that higher ups at the WCF that my clients are currently on a strike, until such a time that the work conditions of the WCF have been found to be fair to ALL, and not just to those who have friends on the inside working for them. Until that time, the Sick Individuals will make all pre-set appearances to the public, including autograph signings, meet and greets, and the Hawaiian Tropic bikini contest at the Slaughtered Lamb Bar next weekend. But until such a time that we feel a fair shake has been given, and the glass ceiling has been removed, the Sick Individuals will not wrestle in any WCF ring. As for now, this is a simple showing of displeasure with the WCF by peaceful protest. However, do not think for one moment that if we do not see changes in a timely manner, more drastic measures, including involving the courts, will be implemented. Any further questions about this situation should NOT go to the Sick Individuals, but must be sent through me. Any threats and the like put towards my clients will be considered an act of malicious intent and will be worked through the proper authorities. That is all.
And with that we fade to black.
Television Title Match
Dake Ken vs Creeping Death
Zach Davis: Oh it's now time to decide the TV Title!
Shannan Lerch: Oh this will be great, two people I hate getting to fight eachother.
Zach Davis: No real bad blood here, infact these two seem to be pretty decent friends Dake Ken and Creeping Death.
The lights in the arena go out, before the first powerful bends from Steve Vai's "Bad Horsie" can be heard over the PA system. As the guitar notes strech in the bends lights from below the stage eluminating the entrance way and part of the ramp. As the notes fade back into a chunking rythem the lights fade as well. When the second set of bends come in, the lights come back, brighter. They as well fade though as the notes fade back in to the chunking, galloping rythem. The final time as Vai hits harmonics, and bends them, the lights are pronouced enough to make the entire rampway light up. All goes to black though as the song pauses in slience. As the signature sound of a horse is heard over the speakers the lights come up a bit to make things visible once again. As the songs powerful, low bass line starts up a light on the stage pulses with the bass. Soon the guitar of Steve Vai kicks into action with a heavy galloping rythem similar to the pervious, and is only accented by the loud pyro that goes along with it. At this point Dake Ken walks out from behind the curtain. Black glasses on, hair looking stylishly unkept, trimmed black beard and black tights with gold designs around his name in gold down the legs. Dake stands in the entry way for looking as cocky as he ever has, totally full of himself.
Zach Davis: Dake sure does look like the Dake Ken of old ... very ... into himself at the moment.
Shannan Lerch: He's a ego freak.
He looks out to the crowd, then after the pause, he begins to walk down the ramp. He leisuerly walks down the ramp, as though it is nothing more than a walk in the park. When he gets to the ring, he stops again, and looks in the ring. He turns and walks to the stairs and begins to climb them. He slowly climbs the stairs and stands on the apron for a moment. Before stepping in the ring he looks out at the crowd, wipes his feet and steps in through the ropes. He walks, with out any other distraction, to the other side of the ring and hands his glasses to the designated person to give them too. He then grabs on to the top rope, he pulls it as he squats down, streching him self out. After a moment he returns to a standing position and prepairs to begin business as Steve Vai's guitar fades away into echo.
Zach Davis: So I wonder how the crowd is going to react. Both these guys are pretty well liked, I wonder who they are going to get behind.
The lights slowly fade to black. Bells toll as the screen shows shots of a big wooden cross wrapped in barbed wire. It's a sunny day as the "happy" opening to "Battery" by Metallica plays. The crowd goes along with the sounds. "Doo-da-doo dooing" along with it. As the song gets darker and darker, the sunny day turns to night. Black clouds roll in and rain begins falling on the cross. Lightning crashes about. As the lightning crashes, white lights in the arena flash. When the song kicks up, one minute and sixteen seconds in, the entire crowd begins headbanging in unison and throwing the horns in the air as the lights come on just a tad, giving light to the dark. Standing on the stage is Creeping Death, however, he isn't wearing the signature hockey mask or in the crucifix position. He just stands their looking very unhappy. Very pisssed off. He just stands for a while then he slowly makes his way down the ramp, looking out into the audience. As he reaches the ring, he slides in under the bottom rope, and pops to his feet. CD walks over to a turnbuckle, jumps to the middle rope facing in the ring, does the crucifix pose once again, takes the hockey mask and jersey off, and then takes a seat on the top turnbuckle, awaiting the match to begin.
Shannan Lerch: Aww the poor Creeping Death, having his buddy turn on him ... Hahaha, I LOVE IT.
Zach Davis: The TV Title is on the line tonight.
The referee stands in and beings the match. The bell rings and the two men move to the center of the ring.
Zach Davis: Creeping Death doesn't want to make this a wrestling match.
Dake Ken and Creeping Death tie up and Dake quickly slides behind Creeping Death. He then pushes Creeping Death forward, but holds onto his tights, and whips him back hard against his forarm. He keeps hold of Creeping Death's tights and repeats the process.
Zach Davis: Dake is driving his forearm into Creeping Death's back hard.
Shannan Lerch: Looks like he's in pain physically and emotionally now!
Dake pushes Creeping Death foreward again however, when he whips him back, he side steps and catches him in a hard russian leg sweep. He floats over into a pin position.
Zach Davis: Dake floating over from a hard russian leg sweep and we have a pin.
Creeping Death kicks out. Dake looks as though he expected this and starts to bring Creeping Death up. As Creeping Death gets to one knee he hits Dake hard in the gut.
Shannan Lerch: Hey those could be low.
Zach Davis: I don't think they are, Creeping Death hitting hard shot after shot after shot into Dake Ken's midsection.
Shannan Lerch: Midsection whatever.
Creeping Death has made it back to his feet and is laying it in on Dake's face. He backs Dake up against the ropes and sends him off in an irish whip. Dake bounces off the ropes and comes back and gets hit with a high drop kick. Dake quickly gets back up and is hit with another drop kick. Dake gets back up again quickly and is met with another drop kick. Dake gets up and Creeping Death is there to meet him. He whips Dake into a turnbuckle and runs and nails him with a large leaping splash. Dake takes a few steps forward. Creeps whips him to the opposite turnbuckle and runs and nails a big closeline. He holds on to Dake and whips him back across the ring and follows up with another closeline. He again whips Dake across the ring and this time he hops up to the second turnbuckle and nails Dake with a backflip kick. Dake falls to his knees and then facedown as Creeping Death lands on his feet.
Zach Davis: Creeping Death just unloaded on Dake Ken and Creeping Death going for a pin.
Shannan Lerch: I don't like Dake Ken but getting his foot on the rope was a smart idea their.
Zach Davis: Creeping Death doesn't look to upset about not putting Dake away there, but he seems to want to get this one over with.
Creeping Death pulls up Dake and starts laying in with rights. The ref tells Creeps to break it up but he keeps on. Creeping Death attempts to whip Dake across the ring again, only Dake reverses it. Creeping Death hits the turnbuckle hard. He takes a few steps forward, Dake meets him and, facing him, grabs him around the waist. He pops his hips and hits a big overhead belly to belly suplex.
Zach Davis: Awesome belly to belly suplex by Dake Ken.
Dake walks over to Creeping Death and backs him into a turnbuckle. He hits a big knife edge chop. The sound echos throughout the arena. Dake hits another chop. And then another. He then lays in with a couple of rights. He brings Creeps out from the turnbuckle a bit and picks him up. He tosses Creeping Death into the turnbuckle face first. Creeps stumbles away. Dake grabs Creeping Death by the back of the head and brings him back to the center of the ring more. He then turns him and sets him up for a neck breaker. He exectues it with perfect form.
Zach Davis: Perfect neckbreaker by Dake Ken.
Shannan Lerch: I've seen better.
Dake picks Creeping Death and puts him in a headlock. He leans all his body weight up against Creeps.
Zach Davis: Dake has a huge headlock on Creeping Death.
Creeping Death looks a bit out of it. He is having trouble staying focused. However the crowd is starting to get behind him. He is able to get a verticle base. He hits an elbow to Dake's gut. Another ... another. He tries to take off to the ropes, but Dake still has too good of a grip on his head. He yanks backwards and drops to a knee at the same time, which causes Creeping Death's head to bounce off of Dake's knee. The crowd gasps at this.
Zach Davis: Creeping Death's head just bounced off Dake's knee.
Shannan Lerch: Maybe now he'll be able to forget all of that heartache.
Dake covers Creeping Death.
Creeping Death gets a shoulder up.
Zach Davis: Man, I don't know how Creeping Death got a shoulder up, but he was able too. He needs to focus on the fact his title is on the line.
Dake picks up Creeping Death and sets him up for the stalling piledriver. He picks up Creeping Death and lets him hang there. More blood running to his head.
Shannan Lerch: Creeping Death is out matched. See Dake was right, he was being used.
Dake drops Creeping Death with the piledriver. He covers.
Creeping Death gets his shoulder up again.
Zach Davis: Dake didn't look happy with that one.
Dake picks up Creeping Death and whips him off the ropes, and goes for a big closeline as Creeps comes running back to him. However Creeping Death ducks and his the far ropes. He gains a lot of speed real quick and hits Dake with a huge closeline that sends him to the mat hard.
Zach Davis: Creeping Death just ran over Dake Ken. Holy crap.
Shannan Lerch: That was like a car wreck.
Creeping Death starts to make it to his feet. He heads over to the turnbuckle and begins to climb it. He waits at the top at Dake starts to make it to his feet, even though he is pretty out of it. Creeping Death flies off the top and hits a huge missle drop kick sending Dake tumbling backwards. Creeping Death crawls over to Dake and covers.
Zach Davis: Man, thought Creeping Death might have had that one.
Creeping Death seems to be very upset about that outcome. He looks around and runs his fingers through his hair. He stands up and picks Dake up. He hits Dake with a few rights and whips him off. Dake his the opposite ropes and Creeping Death goes running at him. Dake ducks the closeline Creeping Death tries to hit him with. Dake hits the ropes and Creeping Death hops on the second rope and springboard moonsaults off. However Dake catches him on his shoulder and slams him down in his snap powerslam.
Zach Davis: Good god what impact.
Shannan Lerch: It was all that tourqe because he caught him in the moonsault, all that force.
Zach Davis: Good god, and a bit of strength too.
A reply shows of Dake, in slow-mo, catching Creeping Death, and the arch in his back when he snaps Creeping Death forward.
Both men lay on the mat. Dake is holding his back and Creeping Death is just laying there. Dake rolls over and lays an arm across Creeping Death's chest.
Creeping Death kicks out.
Zach Davis: Dake is not at all happy with that.
Dake walks over to the other turnbuckle and is waiting for Creeping Death to stand up. Creeps starts to make it to his feet. He turns around and Dake starts to run. Dake goes for the bitch kick but Creeping Death moves and Dake get his foot caught on the top turn buckle. Creeping Death takes advantage and starts to pound on Dake. Dake is able to get his foot free but Creeping kicks him in the stomach and steps onto his back.
Zach Davis: EULOGY OF THE DEAD!
Shannan Lerch: I hate this move.
Creeping Death jumps from Dake's back and flips, and hits it! He makes the pin!
Zach Davis: Creeping Death retains the Television Title!
Shannan Lerch: NO!
Creeps grabs the Title and quickly slides out of the ring, heading to the back. He ignores everything, including Dake, who doesn't look happy about the loss.
Zach Davis: As a plus, this is the kind of thing the New Dynasty stood for. A nice, competitive match with a clean finish, no dumb screwjobs.
Creeping Death disappears to the back, as Dake begins to leave as well.
Skyler Striker Segment
Epica’s “The Last Crusade” blasts out over the PA and the crowd are on their feet as Skyler Striker enters the stage. He looks slightly different than normal, with his forehead bandaged up and numerous other small bandages covering various parts of his flesh, which we can see through his ripped shirt. Skyler has a mic in hand and walks to the ring, climbing up the steel stairs and into the ring with a slight limp. He stands in the middle of the ring, the crowd cheering, until his music dies down. He goes to speak but the cheers are too many and too loud and Skyler waits for them to die down.
Skyler Striker: As you all know, the past few weeks have been… different.. for me. Hellimination, as you can all see, caused me a great deal of physical pain. Which is why I’m not competing this week. However, getting Hellimination over and done with means I can focus on the Crusade. And, of course, that brings me to the only man responsible for all of this – Jack of Blades. You see, Jack, you are the sole reason for my transformation. And I’m not out here to rant about that. The reason I’m out here, Jack, is to thank you. You turned me from a laid-back immature amateur into a machine. Something I didn’t know I was capable of doing. Only trouble is, Jack, that I haven’t had a chance to try this new style out on you, seeing as how you were busy with the New Dynasty situation.
Zach Davis: And we all know how that turned out.
Shannan Lerch: Of course.
Skyler Striker: So, Jack, I have a few things I need from you. Three, to be more precise. One: I want one more match with you. At Revenge, I want a one-on-one match with you. Hardcore, of course, I’d hate to take you out of your element. That’s my first demand. The second: I want my daughter back. I know she’s living with you, Jack. The midget in your basement is Jade Striker, and I want her back. Of course, I doubt she’ll come voluntarily. Which leads me to my third and final demand. The very reason all of this started. I want that Hardcore Title. With the title comes Jade, because she’s waiting for me to fulfill a promise. Twice I have failed to hook that belt around my waist. The third time, I won’t be caught off guard. Instead of making this too complicated for you, Jack, I’ll roll it all up into one demand.
Shannan Lerch: He just doesn’t shut up!
Zach Davis: Just listen, for gods sakes.
Skyler Striker: WCF Revenge, 26th November. Skyler Striker vs. Jack of Blades. Winner takes both the Hardcore Championship and Jade. I’ll wait for your answer avidly, Jack. Oh, just one more thing – this time, it will not be the Bastard Clown vs. the Fatebringer. No, no. This time, it will be the Bastard Clown vs. The Fury Crusader, and God help anyone or anything in the way of the Crusade.
‘The Last Crusade’ hits again and Skyler leaves the ring to more cheers from the audience.
Hardcore Title Match
Reckless Jack vs Jack of Blades
We see Reckless Jack highlights on the screen as the arena is dark. Then huge pictures of Reckless Jack are shown with the words “He has arrived” on them. Now we hear the beginning to Nonpoint's "Bullet With A Name".
Shannan Lerch: It’s the Hardcore match between the two jacks next!
Zach Davis: This is either going to be a stiff epic or a weapon fest.
A faint silhouette is shown in the entry way, kneeling down with his head down as the masses of fans get to their feet. As the song continues to build itself the strobe light goes faster and faster. Once the chorus hits, pyro explodes as the strobe light stops. A red spotlight shines brightly on Reckless Jack as he is kneeling down. He springs to his feet and throws his arms out. The fans are mixed seeing Reckless Jack as he starts to headbang to the song. As they start to walk to the ring, the spotlight stays on him as the people continue to have split feelings. He slaps a few hands on his way to the ring. Once he is in the middle of the ramp, he stops and starts to hype himself up as he throws his arm into the air and lifts it high. A string of pyro shoots down the ramp as he brings the arm back down. He continues slapping hands with the cheering fans. After he gets to the ring apron, he rolls into the ring, hopping on the nearest turnbuckle, throwing out his arms once more. The crowd mixed, as he hops down and does the same on the opposite turnbuckle. He jumps off the turnbuckle, then crouches down, waiting for his opponent.
Zach Davis: My money is on Jack.
Shannan Lerch: Same here.
Das Duell by Ennio Morricone plays. There's a short blackout before the arena is enveloped in bright crimson light. A solitary spotlight focuses on Jack of Blades through the blackout and then leaves when it turns red. The opening image of Jack is him kneeling cradling his face. When the whistling begins in his theme music he moves his hands back and slicks his hair revealing an insane grin of ecstasy. He walks to the ring muttering things to himself but in a very controlled manner. At the ring, he turns right and slides in. When in, he runs diagonal to the turnbuckle. He jumps onto the second rope and remains static before spinning off and running back towards the camera and mounting himself on the ropes. He then proceeds to run the opposite diagonal direction (so his movements have created a 'V') and jumps on the turnbuckle. This time he reveals a red rose from his trenchcoat pocket raises it up beyond his head before catching it in his other and crushing it. The entrance ends with Jack still on the turnbuckle while rose petals fall in front of him.
Shannan Lerch: The Hardcore Champion and the man who continually shuts Dake up: Jack of Blades.
Blades removes himself from the turnbuckle and stares at Reckless Jack. Before the bell rings, Blades moves to the outside and grabs a mic.
Zach Davis: What is this?
Jack of Blades: Skyler Striker. I heard you earlier, and how nice of you to make such a large demand right before I have to defend my Title. However, there isn't much to think about. If it'll shut you up for good, yes. Your match is on.
Shannan Lerch: That is it! Skyler Striker vs Jack of Blades for the Hardcore Title, and the daughter, at Revenge!
Jack of Blades throws down the mic and quickly collects a steel chair from a spare hand milling around while removing every part of his entrance gear apart from his belt on re-entry. Without warning, Reckless charges Blades as the bell rings causing Blades to throw the chair away from him to counter the move. Falling backwards with a Side Belly-To-Belly Suplex, Jack of Blades manages to subdue his opponent’s attempt at an early victory. However, the move was too quick to develop enough yaw or strength to keep him down and Reckless soon moves to his feet, favouring his mid back. Preparing for this as he goes up, Reckless locks a Hammerlock, which causes Jack of Blades to struggle against it. After flailing around for a few moments, he manages to reverse the lock and switch behind with a Hammerlock of his own. The same thing happens again with Reckless gaining further control. However, immediately after this Blades switches again into another Hammerlock working on Reckless. Finishing the pattern, Reckless Jack moves behind Blades and wraps an arm with a repeat Hammerlock. Blades, tiring of this competition, simply smashes a Mule Kick directly into Reckless Jack’s genitalia with the referee watching on.
Zach Davis: Hardcore, Blades can do whatever he wants to.
With Reckless falling to a crouch, Blades turns around and launches him along the ring with a T-Bone Suplex. He takes the time to remove the title around his waist and move over to collect the chair before following up on RJ. Countering this, Reckless manages a quick barge to Blades’ stomach forcing him to collapse onto the referee behind him with the steel chair meeting the striped shirt with full force. Blades stumbles around watching the incapacitated referee before returning to Reckless Jack only to be met with a titan of a Turning The Page. The crowd applaud at Reckless’ capitalization but he knows that the referee is not able to count the victory. Preferring to use this to his advantage, Reckless moves and hops on a nearby turnbuckle before flying off it with a Shooting Star Elbow Drop. The crowd marvels at the athleticism but Reckless Jack shakes his head signalling that he is too weary of this to stop beating him down furthering the crowd’s enthusiasm. Picking Blades up and planting him by his side, Reckless moves over to the corner and begins to climb. He takes Blades with him before stopping and wrapping Blades’ waist.
Zach Davis: He looks like he’s going for the....Super Reckless –
In all the excitement, both the crowd and Zach failed to see the chair removed from the ring by someone from the outside until it is wrapped around Reckless’ back. With Reckless now in agony from the chairshot, Blades manages to throw him over the shoulder with a Super Back Body Drop while moving to the canvas. Meanwhile, the attacker moves into the ring showing his face to the cameras.
Shannan Lerch: And here he is, Logan. Helping his ally out.
Zach Davis: Or getting revenge on Reckless Jack for what he said earlier.
Shannan Lerch: Either way, Logan is better than Reckless.
With Reckless Jack grounded, Logan places the chair against Reckless’ neck driving it in there. This has Reckless Jack trapped allowing Blades to impact a Fist Drop straight into Reckless Jack’s groin.
With RJ now rolling on the floor in pain, Logan flashes a small smile at the crowd satisfied at his work. Not willing to stop, Logan brings Reckless Jack to his feet by clutching onto his arm before driving him back down with a Famouser to the back of his neck. He then falls against Reckless Jack and lifts him up so that he is standing upside down against Logan’s stomach. After building the anticipation, Logan falls forward with a Gutwrench Facebuster before wrapping the Front Face Lock in preparation for The Connector. Reckless Jack, now suffering, from Logan’s finisher is turned over to Jack.
Shannan Lerch: Bye, Reckless.
Jack moves to the turnbuckle in similar fashion to what Reckless attempted earlier. At the apex, with Reckless in between his legs, Blades flies off with a Super Tiger Driver onto the chair that Logan placed in position. The referee is soon brought over by Logan for the first count of the match.
Zach Davis: Jack of Blades retains.
Despite the victory, Logan does not look like he is finished as he goes to the outside returning with a cheese grater. Blades moves to a corner wanting to look on at the mayhem that Logan is about to make. His leader in the meanwhile meets the moving Reckless Jack with a Knee Drop to the face slightly piercing the flesh on his forehead. Logan soon follows this up by tracing the cheese grater against the previous wound causing screams to echo from Reckless Jack and the crowd to visibly wince. With Reckless Jack now bleeding considerably, Logan lifts his enemy to his feet before driving him back down with a Superkick strike. Deciding to call it to an end, Logan once again lifts Reckless Jack to his feet before smashing him in the forehead with a closed fist jab with seems to knock him out of his senses. Logan then moves over and signals for a microphone while Jack of Blades considers the available options and decides to hook Reckless’ legs.
Logan: Don’t hit the Judgment Day Jolt. I want him conscious to hear this.
Blades agrees and instead places his leg in the motion forcing Reckless Jack onto his stomach with a Sharpshooter. Reckless seems to wake up due to the pain and clutch against the mat allowing the cameramen to get a few prominent shots of Reckless Jack screaming and the blood puddle forming on the mat. Logan, on the otherhand, directs his speech at him.
Logan: Reckless Jack, listen to me, you said that you’d go through the Team of Treachery. Looks like you hit a road block. That title shot is mine and you can go back to cutting yourself in stipulation matches without a hope. Boudle out.
Logan then moves closer to Reckless Jack enjoying the agony he is in. However, he is soon alerted to an alien factor making his way down to the ring as the crowd cheers. The camera turns to reveal that this is Skyler looking to help out Reckless Jack. Logan, soon dives to the outside as Skyler Striker slides in him and goes to chase after him before realising that Logan has a headstart. He bounces against the ropes in protest before remembering the real reason he ran down. Turning to face Blades, he is soon sent to the mat with a swinging chair shot from the champion after predicting the attack. Blades, then follows the trail of Logan as they both watch on from the ramp. Moving closer to the back, the team mates begin revelling in the attacks they made comparing and complimenting each other’s efforts. As they do this, Skyler regains some sense and shuffles over to check on Reckless Jack who is still out of his position. We then get another shot of Blades in hysterics and Logan posing for sadistic torment of Reckless. A series of referees soon pass them moving through the ropes to check on the fallen Reckless Jack allowing Skyler to move to the ropes closest to the ramps and look out at the attackers. Logan simply exits to the backstage while Blades waits and lifts his title somewhat humbly as if to secretly taunt Skyler. He then moves away from the cameras leaving a grimacing and determined Striker.
Lawnmower Jones SegmentWe come back with Lawnmower Jones standing in the ring, by himself. He has on his blue overalls with a white shirt underneath. On his face is a grin.
Lawnmower Jones: Ladies and gentlemen, I know that last week at Hellimination, you were all so pleased with my destroying of the New Dynasty!
The crowd boos.
Lawnmower Jones: I know, I know, you want to know when I get a title shot, right?
Crowd boo's louder.
Lawnmower Jones: Rest assured, I've taken it upon myself to get in the back of the line behind Biggs...
Lawnmower Jones: Jack of Blades.
Lawnmower Jones: And Logan.
Maniac crazy boos.
Lawnmower Jones: But, it gives me a bittersweet taste to tell you all that I will not be around while this is happening. No, I received an early Christmas present this week when I put in an application for time off.
Zach Davis: What?
Lawnmower Jones: Yes, ladies and gentlemen, my beloved wife Lonnie is....Oh I don't know how to say it!
Shannan Lerch: Spit it out Jones! Is she ok?
Lawnmower Jones: Well, I need this time off because she's...she's...well, she's pregnant!
The crowd half laughs, half shakes their heads. Jones smiles and circles around the ring.
Shannan Lerch: Congrats!
Zach Davis: Uh...yeah...
Lawnmower Jones: But don't worry, everybody. If you're a Jones Junkie and you need your quick fix, you can always go onto YouTube and check out some of my old matches. Or, if you want to kill two birds with one stone, you can get an early Christmas present for your family with my new book coming out November 28th, entitled "The Grass is Always Greener...If You Have the Right Fertilizer" written by me, Lawnmower Jones! It's an in depth look at my life, plus it has helpful hints on how to take great care of your lawn. I even added a special chapter about my friendship with Logan.
Lawnmower Jones: So, ladies and gentlemen, don't be alarmed to see your favorite WCF star not named Logan off the TV for quite some time. Now play my damn music!
Jones' bagpipes play and he exits the ring.
Zach Davis: What the hell is wrong with him?
World Title Match
Nate Nytro vs Torture
Zach Davis: And now, the "new" Torture's first World Title defense.
Nytro is already in the ring, ready to go when the music hits.
Shannan Lerch: HERE HE COMES! TORTURE!
Torture comes down with Drew Rosenhaus. Both men walk to the ring as the crowd boo's about as hard as they possibly could. I mean this is loud. So loud infact, it seems the roof is possibly coming off the arena building. Torture rolls into the ring.
Zach Davis: Never before have I seen a man so loved become so hated, so fast.
The ref asks for the bell to ring, as Nytro launches at The Tort. Torture blocks it and clotheslines him down. Drew rolls into the ring with a chair. The ref tries to stop Drew, but Torture sucker punches the ref in the back of the head.
Shannan Lerch: What badasses.
Zach Davis: What the hell is this?! Torture isn't even giving Nytro a chance! This isn't even a match! Damn you Drew Rosenhaus!
Torture grabs Nytro and takes some brass knuckles out of his pocket. Torture decks the holy shit out of Nytro's face as he falls to his back. Torture grabs Nytro and throws him to the corner. Drew grabs some rope and ties Nytros arms to the top turnbuckle as he starts to bleed from the forehead. Torture grabs a chair. Drew is talking to the out-cold Nate Nytro as Torture kicks the ref out of the ring. Torture takes the chair and slams it down on Nytros head. Torture reels back and does it for a second time! The crowd is gasping with every hit.
Shannan Lerch: And there is no New Dynasty to stop him! I love it.
Zach Davis: For the love of...
A third and fourth time make it that much worse. The chair is destroyed. Drew unties the unconscience Nytro as Torture grabs him and lifts his dead body into a Tortures Device! Torture covers him as Drew counts to three. Drew hands Torture the World Title belt and they both taunt to the crowd.
Shannan Lerch: Best World Champion ever.
The place goes dark! Battery by Metallica hits.
Zach Davis: ...Now it is on.
Shannan Lerch: CREEPING DEATH NO.
Creeping Death runs right down the rampway as the crowd erupts into larger than life cheers! Torture and Drew scatter the ring and walk back up the rampway. HUGE boos. Creeping Death missed them by just a hair.
Zach Davis: YOU COWARD, TORTURE!
Shannan Lerch: Creeping Death already got his match at Revenge, why is he out now?! That asshole!
Torture is talking smack while Drew is holding him back.
Zach Davis: Let him go, Drew! LET HIM GO!
Creeping Death looks on with hatred at his former best friend as the copyright info displays and we fade to black.
