Sunday Slam Intro

Sitting by M83 blasts and Slam is on the air! Crowd roars, pyro blasts, you know!

Zach Davis: Sunday Slam is back on the air after some difficulties last week!

Shannan Lerch: And I'd like to inform everyone that we have dropped both Hewlett Packard and Best Buy as sponsors.

Zach Davis: We have a huge main event tonight, as the Hardcore Champion is going one on one with the World Champion. Johnny Craven up against Skyler Striker.

Shannan Lerch: Well we know Craven has been feuding with Vice, Striker's teammate, so this match just makes sense.

Zach Davis: We have a big tag match with Thunder and Bobby Cairo going up against the other two Index Three members, Mike Ragnal and Danny Vice.

Shannan Lerch: Ragnal and Vice have been teaming up a lot lately, so they're a formidable team. Cairo and Thunder, though, are two egomaniacs. This could be interesting.

Zach Davis: Especially after last week Cairo kidnapped Jade Striker.

Shannan Lerch: We have Creeping Death up against The Xtreme One. I know there is some serious bad blood between these two men stemming from a backstage conflict last week, but that's it.

Zach Davis: Well I've heard rumors, but either way I'm very excited for this match. It promises to be brutal.

Shannan Lerch: We have Team NCW up against... well... Team Carr? Rick Mad and Davey Ortega are taking on Steve Carr and Merc.

Zach Davis: The leader of Team NCW, Outcast, has been in the hospital for the last few weeks. Mad and Ortega attacked Carr last week as a response. And here we are.

Shannan Lerch: We have Jay Williams up against The Violent One as a prelude to their Tag Titles match at Explosion.

Zach Davis: And in our opening match, we have a six man tag featuring several of WCF's newest talents. Let's see who has what it takes!

Felipe Salarose/Jesse Blake/Jason Anderson vs Lance Ryan/Perfeckshion/Mayne Event

Generic rock music blares over the PA as Lance Ryan, Perfeckshion and Mayne Event step out from behind the curtain. The crowd pops slightly. They make their way down the ramp as yellow and green lights flicker from the rafters.

Zach Davis: It's time now for a very special six-man tag team showcase. This match features some of the best and brightest upcoming stars here in the WCF.

Shannan Lerch: Normally each guy would get his own separate entrance, but who the hell wants to sit through six different entrances for guys you've never heard of?

Hip hop music signals the entrance of Felipe Salarose, Jesse Blake and Jason Anderson. The tandem is greeted by gentle boos and strobe lighting effects as they strut down to the ringside area.

Zach Davis: Anything can happen in this type of match, Shannan. You have six relative newcomers, each one looking to make a name for himself and none of these men have any loyalty to each other. It would be very difficult to trust your partners in this type of match.

Shannan Lerch: Yeah well this ain't the Happy Happy Sunshine Hour, Zach. You want to rise to the top? You gotta put in the toil and hard work. Y'all know how we do this.

The ref signals for the bell and the match is on. Salarose and Perfeckshion start off for their respective teams. They circle the ring before locking up. Salarose slips behind Perfeckshion and gets him in a waistlock. Salarose attempts a German suplex, but Perfeckshion blocks it and elbows Salarose in the head. Perfeckshion slips out of the waistlock and hiptosses Salarose to the mat. Perfeckshion whips Salarose into the ropes. Salarose cross bodies Perfeckshion and hooks the leg. 1...2...Perfeckshion kicks out.

Zach Davis: Fast paced action at the start of this match. Salarose and Perfeckshion both appear to be top-notch athletes.

Shannan Lerch: They bounce around the ring faster than Billy Donovan changes jobs.

Both men are up. Salarose nails Perfeckshion with a running lariat. Salarose whips Perfeckshion into the corner. Salarose charges in but ends up running facefirst into Perfeckshion's extended boot. Perfeckshion drops Salarose with a belly-to-belly suplex. Perfeckshion waits for Salarose to get up when suddenly Lance Ryan slaps Perfeckshion's back to tag himself into the match. Perfeckshion screams at Ryan, but Ryan ignores him. The ref orders Perfeckshion out of the ring. Perfeckshion grudgingly complies as Ryan drills Salarose with a running enzuigiri.

Zach Davis: I don't think Perfeckshion appreciated Ryan tagging into the match behind his back.

Shannan Lerch: Ryan seems to be making a habit out of that. This guy is sneakier than Billy Donovan.

Ryan whips Salarose into the ropes. Ryan connects with a spinning heel kick. Ryan sets Salarose up for a vertical suplex, but Salarose blocks it. Salarose drops Ryan with a reverse DDT. Salarose tags Jesse Blake into the match. Blake leaps over the top rope and nails Ryan with a dropkick. Blake whips Ryan into the ropes, Ryan tries to leapfrog Blake, but Blake catches and plants Ryan with a spinebuster. Blake makes the cover. 1..2...Ryan kicks out.

Zach Davis: A great counter by Blake and he nearly picks up the win for his team. He's truly an inspiration for all cancer patients out there.

Shannan Lerch: My pussy has feline leukemia.

Blake goes for a springboard clothesline, Ryan ducks, Blake goes crashing to the mat. Ryan waits for Blake to get up. Ryan drills Blake with the Jawdropper. Ryan tags Mayne Event into the match. Mayne charges into the ring and nails Blake with the Yakuza kick. Mayne plants Blake with a fireman's carry slam. Mayne makes the cover. 1...2...Blake kicks out. Mayne goes for the It's A Cut Throat World, but Blake slips out and hits the Side Effect.

Zach Davis: Blake makes another outstanding counter!

Shannan Lerch: He never gives up. Reminds me of the late, great Jim Valvano. Billy Donovan could learn a thing or two.

Blake crawls over to the corner and tags Jason Anderson. Anderson jumps into the ring and hits the Rolling Thunder on Mayne. Anderson sets Mayne up and drops him with a brainbuster. Anderson whips Mayne into the ropes. Anderson puts his head down for a back body drop, but Mayne counters with a facebreaker knee smash. Mayne drives Anderson to the mat with a double-arm DDT. Mayne makes the cover. 1...2...Anderson kicks out.

Zach Davis: Beautiful move by Mayne Event. He's looking pretty sharp tonight.

Shannan Lerch: Even so it seems pretty ballsy to call yourself the Mayne Event when you're still yanking the curtain. It's kind of like that band U2. They suck.

Mayne whips Anderson to the corner. Mayne charges Anderson, but Anderson counters with an STO. Anderson sets Mayne up for the Facing What Consumes You...and hits it. Anderson makes the cover. 1...2...Lance Ryan runs in to break up the pin. Soon all six men are brawling in the ring.

Zach Davis: We have carnage and mayhem in the ring! It's awependium in Allegheny and everybody's having a go!

Shannan Lerch: It's like bedtime at Michael Jackson's house. The question is whose got the Jesus juice?

Ryan nails Anderson with the Train Spike. Ryan covers Anderson, but Blake pulls Ryan up and drills him with the Western Ending. Blake makes the cover on Anderson. Perfeckshion breaks up the pin by hitting the Perfect 10's elbow drop on Blake. Salarose sneaks up on Perfeckshion and locks him in the Caught In Cuba. Mayne is back to his feet. He drives a knee to the back of Salarose's head, then plants him with the Mayne Event. Mayne makes the cover. 1...2...Anderson pulls Mayne off of Salarose. Anderson whips Mayne into the ropes and hit the A Time To Kill. Anderson makes the cover.

Zach Davis: Jason Anderson picks up the victory for his team! What an incredible finish!

Shannan Lerch: If that was a scrapheap then you might want to look at the bottom to find Billy Donovan's credibility.

Anderson's music plays and the ref raises his hand while the other five competitors remain sprawled out on the canvas. Ryan, however, realizing Anderson got the victory, is getting up. Anderson is about to leave the ring, but Ryan tackles him down and starts hitting him with several lefts and rights!

Zach Davis: What is this!?

Shannan Lerch: I don't think Lance Ryan is happy his team lost.

Ryan gets up and kicks Anderson out of the ring. The Mayne Event is up as well, and Ryan takes one look at him and Spears him to the ground!

Zach Davis: That was his own partner!

Shannan Lerch: And I don't think he was happy his own partner lost the match for him.

Lance Ryan exits the ring and heads to the back.

Jay Williams vs The Violent One

The lights fade to black, Alice N Chains: Man In a Box begins to blare, red and white pyro shoots out from the entrance as The Violent One Emerges from the smoke. He makes his way to the ring very slowly making sure to smack the hands of the fans. He enters the ring and makes his way to the corner and cracks his knuckels while waiting for his opponent to enter the ring.

Zach Davis: Here comes one half of Team Xtreme.

Shannan Lerch: He wants to send a message to one half of the Tag Champions right now.

All of the lights in the arena shut off then as slow piano-like music fills the PA system as you can hear the faint sounds of the crowd as Born of A Broken Man by Rage Against the Machine kicks into high gear and out comes "Dynamite" Jay Williams to high crowd cheers as he looks around to see the cheering fans as he smiles, walking down to the ring with the song playing. Jay smiles as he runs up the stairs as the chorus blasts on and goes through the ring ropes pumped up and energetic. He gets in the ring, passing his opponent and/or the referee and gets on the turnbuckle raising both of his hands up in a "gun" like fashion before firing them off to the crowd.

Zach Davis: And here is that Tag Champion you were talking about.

Shannan Lerch: Guess Spike has his own things to take care of.

The bell rings and we are underway in what should be a very exciting and athletic contest. TVO goes right for Williams off the bat. He spears him down and starts laying in with numerous right hands. Williams tries to get his hands up but TVO isn't stopping this early assault in the match. Williams grabs the ropes as the ref is telling TVO to stop but TVO pays no attention until the ref's count is up to four on the DQ count. TVO gets back to his feet and waits for Williams to get up. Once Williams is up, TVO clotheslines him out of the ring. The crowd cheers as TVO throws his arms up into the arm. Williams gets back to his feet on the floor as TVO grabs the top rope and flies out with a plancha. Both men go down but TVO is still the first man up at this point in the match. He slaps some hands of the fans at ringside as he goes back to working on Williams.

Zach Davis: Wow, TVO is coming out of this match like a man possessed.

Shannan Lerch: This can't bode well for the US Champion.

TVO picks up Williams and rolls him back into the ring. TVO hops up onto the apron and waits for Williams to get up once again. Once Williams is up, TVO springboards into a crossbody. This time, Williams is able to scout ahead and roll out of the way as TVO hits the mat face first. Williams gets back to his feet and as does TVO. TVO rushes Williams again, going down head first, looking for another spear. However, Williams is able to get a knee in the way. The knee connects with the head of TVO. TVO staggers back as Williams runs and hits a dropkick to the chest of TVO. TVO goes flying into the corner as Williams heads over there. Once there, Williams starts to lay into TVO with kicks all over the place, each kick being extremely stiff. TVO blocks a kick and fires back with a chop to the chest, then a second and a third, following that up with a spinning chop to the throat of Williams. Williams turns his back to TVO. So TVO grabs Williams and drops him on his head with a Backdrop Driver. Williams is folded up as TVO nods to the crowd.

Shannan Lerch: Wow, that has to hurt.

Zach Davis: I agree.

TVO goes for a cover.

No, Williams kicks out of the move. TVO picks Williams back up and whips him into the ropes. TVO ducks his head down and when Jay comes back, he jumps over TVO and puts in him into a sunset flip.

Kick out by TVO as he reverses into a pinning move of his own.

Williams gets a shoulder up. Both men get up as Williams jumps on top of TVO and rolls him into a victory roll.

TVO gets out just in time. Williams gets to his feet and runs at TVO but gets caught in a school boy.

Williams grabs the ropes. TVO gets back to his feet as does Williams. The crow cheers for the numerous amount of near falls. Finally, after a few minutes of action, we get a traditional lock up. But not for long though as Williams knees TVO in the gut and hits a reverse STO. Williams gets up and grabs the top rope, jumps and springboards into a moonsault legdrop. The crowd cheers for such a badass move. Williams covers this time.

No, TVO gets his shoulder off the mat.

Shannan Lerch: Wow, most near falls ever.

Zach Davis: So, a head drop move followed by a sequence of pins. I like it.

Williams looks frustrated that he didn't get the win there. Anyways, he picks up TVO and puts him on his hands and knees, grabbing his hair. Then, Williams starts laying into him with kicks to the face! TVO has no defense at this point but he uses his inner strength to get back to his feet and start to chop at the chest of Williams, numerous times. But then Williams gets the advantage back following a poke to the eye. The crowd cheers as Williams hits a double arm DDT. Instead of going for a pin, Williams gets a smile on his face and locks on the koji clutch! The crowd cheers as Williams has the hold locked in the middle of the ring. TVO has no where to go at this point he is staying alive, refusing to give up and lose this match. Williams keeps telling him to give up but TVO refuses. He slowly inches he way towards the ropes and finally gets his foot on one. Williams has to break the hold! The crowd cheers like mad as Williams pulls TVO back to his feet and spins him around. He goes for the Williams Driver but TVO flips out of it. TVO then gets a hold on Williams and then falls back into a Cradle Piledriver!!

Zach Davis: Oh my god!

Shannan Lerch: Insane move by TVO.

Both men are down as the ref starts his count. Towards the count of eight, both men are able to get themselves up and ready to fight again. TVO goes for a superkick out of nowhere but Williams is able to dodge out of the way. TVO brings his leg down and turns around into a roaring elbow! As TVO staggers around, Williams double underhooks the arms again, but he picks up TVO this time. Wait... Williams hits a cradle double arm DDT now. The crowd is going nuts as Williams heads up to the top rope. He taunts the fans as he flies off with the Williams Drop....but TVO gets the knees up as that is what Williams collides with. As Williams holds his knees when he stands up, TVO gets back to his feet. Williams runs towards a standing TVO but TVO dodges as Williams leaps onto the top rope. TVO kicks the ropes as Williams goes down on his, um, yeah.

Shannan Lerch: Ohhhh hell.

Zach Davis: Yikes...Amy should be lucky that she's pregnant now.

Shannan Lerch: Good call.

Williams falls back into the ring. TVO measures him, waiting for him to stand, signalling that he's going to end it..

Zach Davis: He's going for the Death Valley Driver!

TVO goes to pick Williams up, but Williams drops behind him. Williams spins him around... and hits the Williams Driver out of nowhere! The crowd pops as Jay goes for the pin.

Shannan Lerch: Jay Williams gets the victory!

All of a sudden, TXO is in the ring with a chair. Williams stands, but BAM! TXO hits him hard in the head with it. Williams drops, blood beginning to trickle from his forehead already. TVO is up, and both men are stomping on Jay.

Zach Davis: What the hell is this? Where is-

Almost as if on cue, Spike Kane runs from the back and slides into the ring with a Singapore cane. TVO turns to him and gets hit with the cane, whack! TXO gets hit with it as well! Both members of Team Xtreme roll out of the ring and begin backpeddling to the back.

Shannan Lerch: There won't be any running at Explosion when these men are locked inside the steel cage!

Spike helps Jay to his feet as Team Xtreme disappears to the back.

Rick Mad/Davey Ortega vs Steve Carr/Merc

"Smooth Criminal" By Alian Ant Farm hits. Davey Ortega and Rick Mad walk out to a mixed reaction. Ortega smiles to it all. He slowly walks to the ring, waving at the fans as he walks up the steel steps of the ring. Rick follows. Davey enters the ring and holds his hands up. The two men then wait for their opponents.

The lights go out and "The Enemy" by Godsmack plays. After a few seconds, Steve Carr and Merc walk out and two yellow spotlights circle around them. Merc jogs down to the ring leaving the spotlights behind and Carr walks down the ramp, taking his time. Merc climbs up the steps and through the ropes, and then the lights focus on him again. He points at one of the lights and it turns red and fades out. He does the same to the other one and then the house lights come back on. Carr enters the ring now as well.

Zach Davis: And here we go!

The bell rings. Davey Ortega starts the match off, as does Merc. Merc tackles Ortega down and begins hitting several stiff shots, but the ref quickly pulls him off. Ortega tackles him down then and hits several shots of his own.

Shannan Lerch: No love lost here!

Eventually both men are up. Merc runs at Ortega but Ortega reverses it into a Hip Toss. He then starts kicking Merc, but he gets to his feet fast. Ortega goes for a Clothesline, Merc ducks, and hits a Full Nelson Slam!

Zach Davis: Nice move there!

Merc goes for the pin. One, two, no Rick gets into the ring and kicks him off. Of course, this prompts Steve Carr to try and enter the ring and of course the ref goes to stop him. Meanwhile, Rick and Ortega hit Merc with a Double Suplex. Ortega leaves the ring and Mad acts as the legal man. Mad picks Merc up and throws him into the turnbuckle in a neutral corner and starts stomping away at him. Once Merc is down, Mad starts facewashing him with his boot. The crowd boos.

Shannan Lerch: That hurts like hell but it also looks a bit humiliating.

Zach Davis: At least it isn't a Stinkface.

Eventually Mad runs to the other side of the ring to bounce off and go for the big finish, but that happens to be Carr's side. Carr hits a knee to Mad's back, and then grabs his head and drops down to the floor, snapping Mad against the ropes. Mad stumbles forward into Merc, who goes to lift him into a Military Press Slam. The crowd pops, but having just gotten kicked in the face several times he doesn't have the energy. Mad slides behind him and goes for a big German Suplex, but Merc grabs onto the ropes, holding himself tight. He elbows Mad a few times and breaks away. Mad goes to rush him, but Merc kicks him in the gut and hits a Stunner!

Shannan Lerch: Merc needs to make the tag!

And he does! In comes Steve Carr. Mad had fallen to the ground but is back up, still stunned. Carr throws him to the ropes, and then hits a Big Boot. Mad goes down to the mat, rolls to his corner and tags in Davey Ortega.

Zach Davis: And here comes the former GM of Slam.

Ortega enters the ring and is immediately met with a Running Big Boot from Carr. Carr then picks him up and executes the Ultimate Stunner!

Shannan Lerch: Well there that is!

Carr goes for the pin.

Zach Davis: Steve Carr and Merc pick up the victory.

And immediately the ring of the bell, Outcast slides into the ring, behind Carr and Merc. He yells something and both men turn around. He rushes Carr, punching him right in the head. From the ground, Davey Ortega grabs Merc and trips him, keeping him unable to help.

Shannan Lerch: Looks like he's back from the hospital!

Zach Davis: And got a little present, too. He's wearing brass knuckles.

His punches to Carr's head have left him busted open. Outcast hits a stiff kick to Merc as well for good measure before Mad and Ortega kick him out of the ring. Team NCW raises their arms high in the air.

Shannan Lerch: I have a feeling there will be hell to pay for this.

Team NCW exits the ring and heads to the back.

Creeping Death vs The Xtreme One

Zach Davis: It is now time for TXO and Creeping Death to meet in the middle of the ring.

Shannan Lerch: Quite the war of the words between these two, mainly about how Creeping Death doesn't believe TXO lives up to his title of "The (e)Xreme One."

Lights fade to black then Voodoo by Godsmack starts playing. TXO emerges from the back area with a towel over his head and mouth guard in. He walks right down to the ring gets to ring apron and jumps right on the apron. He then wipes his feet off and then gets in the ring. TXO lifts both arms in the air knocking the towel off his head, then goes to all four corners and crosses his hands forming an "X" for Team (e)Xtreme.

Zach Davis: TXO, partner of TVO in Team (e)Xtreme.

The lights slowly fade to black. Bells toll as the screen shows shots of a big wooden cross wrapped in barbed wire. It's a sunny day as the "happy" opening to "The Light That Blinds" by Shadows Fall plays. The crowd goes along with the sounds. "Doo-da-doo dooing" along with it. As the song gets darker and darker, the sunny day turns to night. Black clouds roll in and rain begins falling on the cross. Lightning crashes about. As the lightning crashes, white lights in the arena flash. When the song kicks up, thirty four seconds in, the entire crowd begins headbanging in unison and throwing the horns in the air as the lights come on just a tad, giving light to the dark. Standing on the stage is Creeping Death, wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, arms stretched out in a crucifix fashion, beside a closed dumpster. CD stands there for a second or thirty, until the vocals start, taking in the crowd's reaction. Then he slowly makes his way down the ramp pushing the dumpster, looking out into the audience. As he reaches the ring, CD positions the dumpster at ringside, so that it is pointing up the ramp and toward the ring, and he slides in under the bottom rope, and pops to his feet. CD walks over to a turnbuckle, jumps to the middle rope facing in the ring, does the crucifix pose once again, takes the hoodie off, and then takes a seat on the top turnbuckle, awaiting the match to begin.

Shannan Lerch: What? A dumpster? God I hate CD.

The bell rings, and we're off. TXO rushes at CD, but CD gets in a quick kick to the arm as TXO swings, causing TXO to spin. CD grabs TXO's head and jumps off the turnbuckle in a reverse tornado DDT! TXO uses his strength, however, to throw CD forward in a front flip, causing CD to crash and burn into the ropes. TXO stomps at CD's head a few times before picking CD up and launching him hard into the turnbuckle with an overhead belly to belly suplex! Creeping Death hits so hard he falls back down onto his stomach.

Zach Davis: TXO is suplexing Creeping Death into the ropes and turnbuckles like he is trying to break them down with CD's body.

Curiously, TXO sticks his head and upper body through the top and middle ropes, leaning out, and trying to open the dumpster. As he's about to lift the top, Creeping Death flies over the top rope in a front flip, catching TXO's torso and landing on the dumpster lid, forcing TXO face first into it! The crowd begins a "WCF!" chant.

Shannan Lerch: Damnit I hate CD.

TXO collapses back into the ring, and CD rolls off the dumpster, climbs back into the ring and makes a cover.

Zach Davis: CD almost took TXO's head off, but he was able to escape the pinfall.

Creeping Death drags TXO to the apron, and stands him in front of the dumpster. TXO fights back, however, and stuns CD with a kick to the gut. TXO quickly enters the ring, bounces off the far ropes, and on his way back hits CD with a big dropkick, knocking CD back and he flies onto the dumpster back first, rolls off of it and falls off onto the ramp on his face in a backflip! TXO quickly exits the ring and goes over to CD, picking him up and throwing him into the guard rail. TXO charges but eats a drop toe hold, smashing his face on the railing, effectively eating the rail as well.

Shannan Lerch: Too much metal on the outside of the ring. Why isn't the ref stopping this?

Zach Davis: This is WCF, Shannan. When two men are involved in a fight like this, there is no need to stop for anything.

Creeping Death, true to his word, opens up the dumpster and pulls out a bundle of light tubes!

Shannan Lerch: Damnit! CD! Hate! Ah!

Creeping Death holds the bundle in one hand and closes the lid of the dumpster with the other. CD walks over to TXO and swings with the bundle of four tubes, but misses as TXO ducks out of the way. CD, being cunning as hell, backflips like he's going for a quick Pele, but flips all the way, lands on his feet, spins around and clobbers TXO in the head with the light tubes, shattering them all over the floor! TXO clutches his face and stumbles toward the ring. The crowd starts up an even louder "WCF!" chant as CD rallies them.

Zach Davis: Creeping Death is upping the ante here, trying to prove a point to The (e)Xtreme One.

Not to be outdone, TXO reaches under the ring and catches Creeping Death coming in with a cheese grater to the forehead! CD stumbles back and rests his head on the dumpster, clutching his face with his hands. "WCF!" chants grow louder.

Zach Davis: Oh man! TXO came prepared as well! And look at that, CD is cut across his skull!

Sure enough, blood is dripping down CD's painted white face. TXO lunges at CD and drags the cheese grater down the length of CD's back, producing random cuts all the way down!

Shannan Lerch: This is almost too hard to watch.

Zach Davis: Almost?

Shannan Lerch: Yeah, if it was someone other than Creeping Death, I'd be crying and out of here by now.

CD drops down to his knees and screams in pain. TXO knees the back of CD's skull, causing him to go face first into the back of the dumpster. TXO throws the grater into the ring and opens up the dumpster, looking inside. TXO shuffles a few items around and produces a kendo stick. TXO tries to hit CD in the back, but CD moves out of the way and TXO hits the dumpster. CD punches TXO in the gut, picks him up in a spinebuster, and spears TXO into the front of the dumpster, knocking it onto its back! "WCF!" chants arise again.

Shannan Lerch: That was some impact, Zach!

Zach Davis: No kidding. Sheesh.

Inside the ring, the ref has completely ignored everything that has happened. Outside, Creeping Death is standing up, as TXO lays on the front of the dumpster. CD hops up to the apron and flies off the top rope in an asai moonsault, landing flush on TXO!

Zach Davis: Big spot ahoy!

Shannan Lerch: These guys are going to end up killing each other.

Creeping Death peels TXO off the dumpster and throws him into the ring, following up with another pin attempt.

Zach Davis: Damn! TXO won't stay down!

CD rolls out of the ring and slams the lid of the dumpster to the floor, reaches in, and pulls out a spool of barbed wire. The crowd in attendance explodes and begins a "OH SHIT NO!" chant.

Shannan Lerch: The crowd has it right!

CD rolls back into the ring and sandwiches the spool of barbed wire between the top and middle turnbuckles. CD lifts TXO up and tries to whip him into the turnbuckle, but TXO reverses and switches behind CD, throwing CD back in a German suplex. TXO holds on, rolls, and delivers another German to CD! But TXO isn't done, he rolls yet again and stands, trying for another, but he stops, and positions himself between CD and the barbed wire, throwing CD back into the turnbuckle AGAIN, but this time, hitting barbed wire as well!

Zach Davis: Holy backfire, Shannan!

Creeping Death's back is cut even more now, as he holds himself up with the top rope so the barbed wire doesn't go the length of his back like the cheese grater did. TXO comes rushing CD and drives his shoulder into CD's chest, pushing the barbed wire further into CD's back!

Shannan Lerch: Alright, this is getting to the point of not being able to watch.

TXO lets off CD's torso and allows CD to free himself from the barbed wire. TXO slides out of the ring and snags himself a table, though, and sets it up on the outside near the dumpster. CD has dropped to his hands and knees, and is pulled out of the ring by TXO, but TXO holds on to one of CD's feet, and twists into That's (e)Xtreme!

Zach Davis: Good idea trying to take out CD's wheel, but bad idea doing it on the floor! TXO can't win out there!

Sure enough, TXO releases the hold and CD grasps his ankle. TXO picks CD up to his one good leg and bends CD over. TXO picks CD up and drops him through the table with a powerbomb of vicious force!

Shannan Lerch: TXO is a powerhouse, and Creeping Death is pretty much a cruiserweight. Add in a table and you've got splinters.

TXO hoists CD up and throws him into the ring, where TXO grabs the cheese grater again. TXO bounces off the ropes and mimics John Cena's Five Knuckle Shuffle shoulder dust and little dance before dropping his fist with the grater to CD's forehead again, opening up the cut even more.

Zach Davis: Gah that's horrible.

TXO with the pin..

Shannan Lerch: And CD kicks out. Of course.

TXO walks over to the corner and grabs the spool of barbed wire, and literally wraps Creeping Death's hands in it. Both of them. CD's hands and wrists are wrapped and bound with the barbed wire, cutting into the flesh.

Zach Davis: What is this..?

TXO then locks on That's (e)Xtreme! Creeping Death quickly makes his way to the ropes by using his elbows, and goes to grab the bottom rope, but when he touches it the barbed wire digs into his hand deeper, causing CD to flinch and bring his hands away from the rope.

Shannan Lerch: Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Creeping Death can't grab the bottom rope to break the hold because he is human and will flinch when he knows there will be pain!

Zach Davis: You're right, Shannan. That's an awesome strategy.

Creeping Death is now screaming in pain, the combination of a deadly ankle lock and his hands wrapped in barbed wire are getting too much to handle. CD turns his attention to his hands, where he frees one of them after some time of struggling, all while TXO grinds on his ankle. CD uses the barbed wire to whip back at TXO, hitting him in the arms and causing TXO to drop CD's foot.

Zach Davis: Creeping Death broke the hold, but is his ankle going to survive?

CD frees his other hand while the barbed wire is still stuck in TXO's arm. CD tries to stand but cannot put weight on his left ankle due to TXO's finisher, so CD almost collapses into the ropes, but catches himself. TXO pulls the wire out of his arm and lays a big haymaker into CD's ribcage. CD fires back with a hopping knee strike to TXO's skull, knocking him loopy and stumbling back. CD beings his left foot up in front of him, and can be seen visibly twisting it and putting it back into place!

Shannan Lerch: AH did he just do that?!

CD puts his foot down and tests it, seems to be back in working order. CD calls for a chair, and is tossed one by a fan. TXO recovered from the knee, but is blasted in the cranium by a steel chair from Creeping Death, and TXO collapses into a sitting position. CD hits the ropes TXO is facing, jumps off the middle one and hits a sitout leg lariat to TXO, who falls to his back. CD rolls to his knees and points to the sky. The crowd chants "SA-fuckin'-BU!"

Zach Davis: Creeping Death and the crowd showing their respect for the wrestler known as Sabu.

CD takes the chair and sets it up in the middle of the ring, then drags TXO to it and puts TXO's head through the back so it is resting on the seat. Creeping Death climbs to the top rope and comes off with a HUGE Super Mario stomp to TXO's head, causing the chair itself to implode! CD quickly covers...

Shannan Lerch: Holy cow, TXO kicked out of that madness!?

Zach Davis: Don't count the former Tag Champion out, Shannan.

TXO, however, is pretty much out. Creeping Death rolls out of the ring, and slides in a ten foot ladder. CD walks up beside the ramp, and grabs two pieces of guard railing, throwing them both into the ring.

Shannan Lerch: And Creeping Death is redecorating with steel. Fantastic.

Zach Davis: Add to the fact that Creeping Death will be competing in a Ladder Match for the Hardcore Title in two weeks at Explosion.

CD slides into the ring, and sets up both guard rails about eight feet apart, then takes the ladder and lays it across the rails creating a makeshift Ladder Bridge of Doom in the middle of the ring!

Zach Davis: This could be the end of ... well ... anyone.

TXO is almost back up, and meets CD coming with a kick to the gut. TXO executes a quick side Russian leg sweep, bouncing CD's head off the mat. TXO looks up and notices what CD has made, and eagerly picks CD up, throwing him into the turnbuckle. TXO sets CD up and climbs with him, and delivers a top rope superplex onto the Ladder Bridge of Doom! TXO falls short while Creeping Death lands full force on the ladder!

Shannan Lerch: That did it! CD is dead!

TXO pulls CD off the ladder and he drops to the mat. TXO pins!

Zach Davis: Good lord!

TXO is stunned. The crowd explodes in a loud "WCF!" chant, even louder than most of the others throughout this entire match. TXO, quickly back on the attack, throws CD back up onto the ladder and climbs up with him. TXO hooks CD up and picks him up in a DVD, looking for his partner, TVO's finisher The Violent Drop ... but CD slips out and lands on the mat on his feet. CD sweeps TXO's feet, causing TXO to land stomach first on the ladder. CD pulls TXO's head through the rungs under the ladder, hits the ropes, and delivers a massive dropkick to TXO's head!

Shannan Lerch: BROKEN NECK!

The impact causes the ladder to slide along the rails, but stays up. TXO's body is limp. The crowd is chanting "WCF!" and "HOLY SHIT!" at once. Creeping Death can't even believe he pulled off such a move. Regardless, Creeping Death starts creating a new landing pad. CD pushes the ladder off the rails, causing TXO to bounce off and lay on the mat.

Zach Davis: This ... cannot ... be good.

CD stomps TXO's skull a few times, and then retrieves the barbed wire, and starts wrapping the barbed wire between the two rails, creating a barbed wire net almost.

Shannan Lerch: I cannot watch.

CD picks up the cheese grater and TXO, throws TXO into the ropes and drives the grater into TXO's gut on the return, stopping TXO in his tracks and lighting his face up with pain. TXO comes right back, picks CD up to his shoulders and hits TVO's The Violent Drop DVD onto the barbed wire net, causing the guard rails to collapse inward onto CD! The crowd explodes again in a "WCF!" chant.

Zach Davis: No words can describe this.

TXO is actually laying on Creeping Death, and his shoulders ARE down!

Shannan Lerch: THREE!

No, Creeping Death kicks out. Everyone in the arena is in shock. Fans, TXO, time keeper, the ref, everyone. TXO pulls Creeping Death out of the mess and sets the ladder up in the corner across the two middle ropes. TXO doubles CD over and again powerbombs him ... stiffly ... to the mat, CD's head bouncing off the mat, picks CD up and does it again, and then does it again, this time turning and bombing CD onto the ladder in the corner! CD crumbles down and TXO pins.

Shannan Lerch: That's FOUR stiff powerbombs in this match now!

Zach Davis: Medics!

Shannan Lerch: DAMNIT!

Creeping Death drapes his foot across the bottom rope.

Zach Davis: TXO is throwing everything he has at CD.

TXO picks CD up and whips him into the ropes. CD sloppily stumbles back toward TXO who picks CD up in a powerslam, CD floats back, turns TXO around and drops him face first with a Diamond Cutter!

Shannan Lerch: BANG!

Zach Davis: BANG!

Crowd: BANG!

The crowd begins a large round of applause as the two wrestlers lay on the mat. The ref looks on and shakes his head. Several moments pass, and CD and TXO both begin to get up, the crowd cheering louder as they stand. TXO throws a punch. CD throws a punch. TXO throws another. CD throws another. TXO throws a hard one, sending CD stumbling back into the ropes. CD comes back with a big shot of his own, TXO stumbles back into the ropes. TXO tries again but CD ducks it, and kicks TXO in the thigh. Again, left thigh. Now the right. CD bounces off the ropes and comes back with both knees into TXO's face, knocking him straight down to the mat and bouncing to his stomach!

Zach Davis: Good. God.

Both men, exhausted, again struggle to their feet. Creeping Death is bleeding all up his back from barbed wire and a cheese grater and from his forehead from the grater, TXO is bleeding from the stomach from the same cheese grater. TXO stand up by the ropes nearest the ramp, and CD clotheslines him over the top, landing by the dumpster yet again. CD opes the lid and reaches in, pulling out a bag.

Shannan Lerch: No...

Sure enough, Creeping Death slides in the ring and pours out the contents. Thousands of thumbtacks. The crowd cheers in anticipation. Creeping Death even goes as far as to set up the ladder beside the pile of tacks.

Zach Davis: Someone end this.

TXO makes his way back into the ring and is met with a legdrop to the back of the head. CD drags TXO to his feet, and over to the ladder. CD puts TXO on his shoulders in an Electric Chair, and SLOWLY makes his way up the ladder.

Shannan Lerch: Zach, you're a wrestler, go down there and stop this!

Zach Davis: Negative, I'm a CAMERAMAN and ANNOUNCER.

At the top of the ladder, not only is the crowd cheering and popping to the most insane multitude, but the ref is down at the bottom of the ladder waving his hands. CD spins and puts TXO on the side of the ladder closest to the thumbtacks, and stand on the other side. CD locks TXO's arms, and stands up onto the very top of the ladder. CD jumps off and pulls TXO down in For Whom the Bell Tolls off the top of the ladder, into the pile of tacks!

Zach Davis: Done. Oh my god done.

TXO lands face first in the tacks, and they also fill the legs of Creeping Death. Either way, CD rolls TXO over and pins.

Shannan Lerch: Got him.

Zach Davis: Creeping Death wins.

Shannan Lerch: What a hellacious match.

Medics are immediately at the scene, getting both men out of the ring and helping them to the back.

Index Three Segment

The cameras cut backstage with Index Three’s Skyler Striker, Mike Ragnal, and Danny Vice. Vice and Ragnal are fully dressed as they prepare to go on soon for their match, while Striker remains in his maroon street clothes. Striker has his World Title over his shoulder, while Danny carries Johnny Cravens Hardcore Title in his hands.

Mike Ragnal: So how sad is this? Cairo, the same sunnuvabitch that STILL holds the Television title that I tried to take off him not too long ago, kidnaps the daughter of the company's World Champion. Can anyone say Bi-hi-hi-hi-HIIIIIIIG mistake?

Skyler Striker: I owe you two thanks. For being my allies and standing next to me more than anything. Cairo is out of control. Jade is not collateral for him to take.

Mike Ragnal: True. But you gotta remember, Skyler, what goes around comes around, and Cairo's gonna get his just do for taking Jade. In the end, things are gonna be alright.

Danny Vice: Besides, as long as you just stay out of Cairo’s way the next few weeks, there’s no reason for him to hurt her.

Skyler Striker: Stay out of his way? Are you insane? All that Cairo's done... I will tear him in two as soon as I can.

Danny Vice: Leave that stuff to Ragnal and I, you just go get ready and relax for your title defense tonight against Craven.

Skyler Striker: Go get ready and relax? What's wrong with you, Vice? Cairo has Jade! You think I can focus on anything but that right now?

Danny Vice: Look, stop being such a bitch about it. I’m trying to help. I’m not the bad guy here.

Skyler pauses after this, almost seeming to imply something.

Skyler Striker: Is that so?

Ragnal, who has been observing the two, interjects.

Mike Ragnal: Alright, that does it! Look, BOTH of you! Danny, yes, you're trying to help, and I can see that, but at the same time, Sky, considering the history between you two, I can understand your paranoia. I realize you're worried about Jade, Striker, but I think it's best you focus on Craven before you lose your World title, and possibly have no other chance to take down Cairo for the freak he is! Got it?!

Skyler mumbles something that sounds like 'whatever'.

Danny Vice: Striker, listen to me. We’re on the same side here. There’s no reason to fight with me on this. I don’t know how many times I can tell you I have your back before you finally listen to me and trust me. Do I need to prove it? Fine. I will. I am going to march into Lerch’s office after our match tonight, and demand I get a shot at Cairo next week. And since he took your daughter away from you, I will take his Television Title away from him on Slam.

Mike Ragnal: And if not Vice next week, I will get it from him. You have to remember the three of us are a team, both of you. We don't work as individuals, we work together.

Danny Vice: Exactly. Now Ragnal and I will handle our business out there tonight in our match, and you do the same in yours. And, Skyler, in your match with Craven sure you leave a little piece of him over for me at Explosion.

Ragnal and Vice head toward the ramp entrance for their upcoming match. Striker, on the other hand, glares emptily at the spot that Danny has just left.

Thunder/Bobby Cairo vs Mike Ragnal/Danny Vice

"Money" by Pink Floyd begins to play. As the cash register sound ends and the music begins, Thunder walks towards the ring with Janie Vice on his arm. He reaches the apron and climbs the turnbuckle, taunting the fans.

Zach Davis: Thunder joined us on commentary last week during the match between Vice and Ragnal and Johnny Craven and Creeping Death. He also interjected himself by attacking Ragnal, but it didn't stop Vice and Ragnal from winning. Quite frankly, I thought his conduct was rude and unbecoming of a former champion.

Shannan Lerch: Thunder is a feisty young man and he fights for what he believes in. It's called "having a backbone." You wouldn't know anything about that, Zach.

Pyrotechnics explode at the top of the ramp, the lights in the arena flicker. "11 Dreams" by Mercenary echoes throughout the building and the crowd immediately boos. Bobby Cairo appears at the top of the ramp and the crowd boos even louder. Cairo slowly walks down to the ring with no expression on his face as middle fingers go up all around the arena.

Zach Davis: Cairo kidnapped Skyler Striker's daughter last week in a disgusting and unpredictable twist of events. I wonder if Striker will make his presence felt during this match?

Shannan Lerch: I think Jade is better off with Cairo. He can teach her things about extortion and racketeering that she could never learn from her father.

The lights begin blinking several different colors as H! VLTG3 by Linkin Park hits. A lightning-like pyro blasts, and Mike Ragnal steps out from the back, with Sasha Pehl at his side, her arms wrapped around his. He walks to the ring, looking out at the thousands in attendance along the way. Sasha lets go of Mike as he rolls into the ring. Mike gets to his feet, and raises a fist high in the air, while Sasha heads to their corner and cheers Mike on.

Zach Davis: Ragnal looks fired up this week and Sasha looks, well, smokin'.

Shannan Lerch: Don't pretend you're into Sasha, Zach. I see the way you look at Ragnal. You want him, don't you?

The lights go out in the arena as the crowd begins to emit electricity from their anticipation. The opening notes of "Map of the Problematique" by Muse hits the speakers to a huge ovation from the crowd. The lights flash several times before coming on full showing Danny "The Vagrant" Vice and his brother Jimmy standing a top the ramp. Danny raises his arms to his sides, exciting the crowd as he feeds off of them like they feed off of him. He wears his WCF Hardcore title around his waist proudly, rubbing his hands across it to push the crowd further into a frenzy. He rushes to the ring and slides in before climbing the turnbuckle and posing with both arms over his head. Two huge "V" pyros explode in the ring before Danny jumps down and hands the title to the referee before focusing intently on his opponent.

Zach Davis: Danny Vice is proudly wearing the Hardcore Title that he stole from Johnny Craven last week.

Shannan Lerch: Danny feels that he was screwed by Creeping Death at Timebomb and he doesn't believe that he should have ever lost that title. To be honest, I think it looks nice on him and it makes me want to do something that would make my mama blush.

Zach Davis: You do things with your mama that would make your mama blush, Shannan.

Thunder and Ragnal start off the match with an exchange of reversals that ends with Ragnal hiptossing Thunder to the mat. Ragnal hits a standing dropkick. Ragnal whips Thunder into the ropes and hits a powerslam. Ragnal hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Ragnal makes the cover. 1...2...Thunder kicks out. Thunder reverses an Irish whip. Thunder hits a wheelbarrow suplex. Thunder makes the cover. 1...2...Ragnal kicks out.

Zach Davis: Thunder putting in some good work early in this contest. This is the type of intensity that has brought him so much championship glory.

Shannan Lerch: I think Thunder still has what it takes to be a champion, but as we've always wondered does he have the focus and discipline to take it all the way?

Ragnal reverses an Irish whip to the corner. Ragnal hits a dropsault. Ragnal hits an STO. Ragnal makes the cover. 1...2...Thunder kicks out. Ragnal hits a gutwrench DDT. Ragnal hits a springboard moonsault. Ragnal makes the cover. 1...2...Thunder kicks out. Cairo taunts Ragnal with obscene comments about Sasha. Ragnal ignores him. Ragnal hits a snap spinebuster. Ragnal misses a senton splash. Thunder tags Cairo into the match. Cairo stomps Ragnal. Cairo hits a Northern Lights suplex. Cairo hits a diving elbow drop. Cairo makes the cover. 1...2...Ragnal kicks out. Cairo locks Ragnal in a cross kneelock. Ragnal reaches the ropes. Cairo stomps Ragnal's knee. Cairo hits a chop block.

Zach Davis: Cairo loves to soften up men's legs. You just know that he's thinking about strapping Ragnal in the Cairopractor and earning that sweet, sweet tapout.

Shannan Lerch: That's sweeter than syrup, my friend.

Cairo locks Ragnal in the figure four leglock. Every fan in the building is chanting Ragnal's name as he courageously fights toward the ropes. Ragnal reaches the ropes. Cairo refuses to release the figure four. The ref threatens to disqualify Cairo. Cairo breaks the hold and gets in the ref's face. Ragnal rolls up Cairo. 1...2...Cairo kicks out. Cairo hits a short-arm clothesline. Cairo hits a cradle piledriver. Cairo verbally taunts Vice, prompting Vice to run into the ring. The referee admonishes Vice, while Cairo and Thunder utilize some old school double-team tactics behind the ref's back.

Zach Davis: Double team tactics by the team of Cairo and Thunder and the crowd is voicing its displeasure.

Shannan Lerch: They can stick it if they don't like it.

Cairo tags Thunder into the match. Thunder and Cairo hit a Russian legsweep / clothesline combination. Thunder makes the cover. 1...2...Ragnal kicks out. Thunder hits a double axe handle. Ragnal blocks a vertical suplex. Ragnal hits a spike DDT. Both men are down. Ragnal crawls over and tags Vice. Vice savors the moment and soaks in the cheers as Thunder is on his knees begging for mercy. Vice pulls Thunder up by his hair. Vice unleashes a fury of punches. Vice whips Thunder into the ropes. Vice hits a leg lariat. Thunder rolls out of the ring to regroup. Janie whispers into Thunder's ear. Thunder rolls back in. Thunder ducks a running lariat. Thunder hits a spinning heel kick. Vice reverses an Irish whip to the corner. Vice mounts the turnbuckles and unloads ten big right hands while the crowd counts along.

Zach Davis: Vice is taking out a lot of anger and frustration on Thunder. We know about everything that Thunder has done to him and this has to feel pretty damn good.

Shannan Lerch: You're a coward, Zach. You're a coward to take pleasure in watching this brutality. Damn you, Zach Davis.

Vice hits a running bulldog. Vice makes the cover. 1...2...Thunder kicks out. Vice hits an inverted underhook DDT. Vice hits a corkscrew shooting star press. Vice makes the cover. 1...2...Thunder kicks out. The crowd gets fired up as Vice signals for the Outkast.

Zach Davis: Here it comes- wait... there is a man wearing a black ski mask and a long black leather jacket that just jumped the ring barrier. What’s he doing?

Vice is momentarily distracted as he sees the Hardcore Title being taken away, and Thunder ducks the Outkast and hits a T-bone suplex. Thunder crawls over and makes the tag to Cairo. Cairo hits a rolling neck snap. Cairo hits a gourdbuster. Cairo hits a snapmare driver. Cairo makes the cover. 1...2...Vice kicks out. Cairo locks Vice in a kneebar. Vice reaches the ropes. Both men up...Cairo whips Vice to the ropes. Vice hits a springboard back elbow. Vice hits a double-underhook slam. Vice hits a flying thrust kick. Vice hits a split-legged moonsault. Vice makes the cover. 1...2...Cairo kicks out.

Zach Davis: A great exhibition of athleticism by Vice nearly puts Cairo away.

Shannan Lerch: Nah, Cairo's got plenty of fight left in him.

Vice tags Ragnal. Ragnal and Vice hit a reverse STO / enzuigiri combination. Ragnal makes the cover. 1...2...Cairo kicks out. Ragnal locks Cairo in the Shock to the System. Cairo begins to wear down. Suddenly, Cairo hits a back kick to Ragnal's groin. Ragnal instantly releases the hold and both men drop to the mat. Ragnal and Cairo crawl over to their respective corners and tag their partners. Vice and Thunder stare each other down as they enter the ring to face each other once again. They circle the ring before locking up. Vice gains the advantage and whips Thunder to the ropes. Vice hits a flying forearm smash. Vice kip-ups and positions himself in the corner. He tags in Ragnal, who climbs to the top rope. Vice waits for Thunder to stand...and hits the Outkast! Ragnal flies off the top and hits the High Voltage! Ragnal makes the cover.

Immediately afterwards, Cairo runs into the ring with a chair and cracks Vice across the back. Ragnal turns and gets smacked in the head with the chair as well.

Zach Davis: Damn that Cairo and his unruly shenanigans! Somebody stop this madman!

Shannan Lerch: This is good clean fun, Zach. Cairo is not breaking any rules.

Cairo surveys the damage that he's caused as the crowd boos and hisses. Suddenly, a cheer comes up from the crowd. Cairo looks up and sees Skyler Striker running down the aisle. Cairo tries to run away as Striker hits the ring, but Striker tackles Cairo and beats the crap out of him.

Zach Davis: Cairo is getting his comeuppance as Skyler Striker exacts his revenge upside Cairo's skull!

Shannan Lerch: Well, I can understand this to an extent, but it seems a tad overboard by Striker.

Striker drags Cairo outside of the ring and bashes his head into the guardrail repeatedly. Striker tosses Cairo over the guardrail. Striker drags Cairo through the crowd while punching him and busting his forehead open. The security guards are finally able to separate Striker and Cairo as blood streams down Cairo's face.

Zach Davis: Cairo just got a little taste of what's in store for him at Explosion!

Shannan Lerch: I don't think Cairo is going to take this lying down, Zach.

Johnny Craven Segment

Cameras go backstage as Johnny Craven is preparing for his match as Chuck Watson and Willy Carter are pumping him up by massaging his shoulders and playing The Rocky song.

“Sweet” Willy Carter: Man, if Boone could see this and see you get this chance of a lifetime..he’d be very jealous!

“Texas Red” Johnny Craven: I hope he’s watching closely and I make him proud and bring the World Title home to him!

Chuck Watson: I’m sure he’s just happy you are the Hardcore Champion and that you are even getting a shot at the World Title!

“Texas Red” Johnny Craven: Hardcore Title, I just wish I could wear the thing!

Just then the man wearing the mask and the leather jacket busts in the door and holds up the Hardcore title as Craven stands up and gets in his face! The man hands Craven the Hardcore Title and begins to laugh hysterically. Watson is cowering in the corner as Carter has jumped back himself. Craven stands in the man’s face as he pulls off the ski mask and reveals himself as DAVEY “THE SAVIOR” BOONE! Watson and Carter are shocked and begin clapping as Craven’s look hasn’t changed.

Davey “The Savior” Boone: I’M BAAAAAAAAAAACK!!! Did somebody here lose a Hardcore Championship? Awww...Danny Vice I believe lost it to you Mr. Craven? Or shall I call you Mr. Hell Raiser of Hardcore?

Boone hands Craven the title as Carter snaps the belt around his waist. Boone continues on as Craven is still staring at him.

Davey “The Savior” Boone: And I hear somebody has a World Title shot tonight and it isn’t me? You deserve it more than anybody here, and that’s for sure! And this Hardcore Title will never be stolen by anybody in the WCF again, and I’ll make damn sure that happens!

Boone extends his hand to Craven as Craven looks down and then spits off to the side. He looks back at Boone who is just smiling widely.

“Texas Red” Johnny Craven: *shakes hand and smiles back* I think we have a World Title match coming up next! WE had better get to the ring!

World Title Match
Johnny Craven vs Skyler Striker

"Memory Remains" by Metallica hits the PA as Chuck Watson steps through the curtain and walks down midway through the ramp. "Texas Red" Johnny Craven and Davey "The Savior" Boone walk out from behind the curtain and Craven holds up the Hardcore Championship as Boone holds up his fists pumping them at every explosion of the pyros as the crowd is going crazy! “Sweet” Willy Carter comes out behind them after the entrance as they all 4 walk to the ring. Boone stands on the outside as Craven stands on the turnbuckle and holds up his Hardcore Championship. The referee takes the Hardcore title and hands it over to Carter who drapes is over his shoulder. Craven hops back and forth on his feet and throws a few punches into the air preparing himself more for his World Title match!

Zach Davis: Walking out now is Johnny Craven, who may just have the shortest time between debuting and winning the WCF World title in our history!

“Fallen, broken. Simply dissolved into an incomplete thought. An empty shell, cracked, and disfigured. With no remorse, I have been blinded by the darkness. With no disdain, I have received my punishment. And with no haste, I await them.”

After the words finish, the music of “Fallen Angels” by Ra kicks in as a bright white light flashes over the arena and fades to black again. The lights continue quickly changing between black and white as Skyler Striker enters the stage. He walks down towards the ring dressed in the usual black, unbuttoned shirt and the torn maroon pants, the World Championship around his waist. He slides into the ring and as the chorus hits, Skyler spreads his arms in a crucifix pose. He holds this, looking into the crowd, and then goes to the turnbuckle, repeating the crucifix pose. The lights return to normal as Skyler jumps down and the music fades as he holds his title belt high.

Shannan Lerch: and out next is Skyler Striker, our current WCF World Champion. You have to admit, he’s overcome the odds well in-

Zach Davis: Sh!

Shannan Lerch: What?

Zach Davis: Apparently we’re not allowed to use “overcome the odds” to describes somebody winning so much.

Shannan Lerch: What?! Why not?

Zach Davis: The internet wrestling community copyrighted it.

Shannan Lerch:...They actually got it copyrighted?

Zach Davis: Yup.

Shannan Lerch: I give up.

Back in the ring, Skyler has just taken off his World title belt, and handed it to the ref, who then holds it high for the audience to see. He hands it off to a ringside crew member, and signals for the bell.

Zach Davis: And we’re under way!

Skyler and Craven circle around the center of the ring for a little bit, soon locking up. Skyler gets the upper hand by kicking Craven in the stomach, then placing his head between his legs. He underhooks both arms, and slams Craven down with a Tigerbomb. Skyler follows up with a standing moonsault and pins.

Kickout from Craven. Skyler picks Craven up and whips him into the ropes, looking for a leg lariat. Craven ducks under, and bounces back with a clothesline, and takes Striker down to the ground. Craven stomps at Striker at few times, and follows up with a leg drop. Craven hooks the leg to pin.

Skyler kicks out. Craven picks Striker up and knees him in the face, then picks him up for a suplex, and ending with an Orange Crush. Rather than pin, Craven rolls off Striker and sits him up, runs to the ropes, and returns with a hard kick to the back of the head, causing Striker to fall forward, then bounce back to lie on the canvas. Craven runs to the opposite ropes, and hits an elbow drop to the Champion. He keeps the shoulder on top to pin.

Striker grabs the arm and tries to get his legs around it. He succeeds, and places his hands around Craven’s face, locking in the Crossface. Craven tries to crawl for the ropes, but Striker has the hold in rather tight. Instead, Craven bites into Skyler’s hand, and he soon releases. Striker’s on his knees grabbing his hand, and Craven is staring coldly at Skyler. Craven grabs Skyler and tosses him into amcorner, following up with several fists flying into his body. Craven sets Skyler on the top turnbuckle, and connects with a Superplex. Craven goes for a pin.

Skyler gets his shoulder up. Craven picks Skyler up and whips him into the ropes, only to be met with a leg lariat by Striker. The WCF World Champion climbs onto the apron and waits for Johnny to get to his feet. Once that happens, Striker sprongboards off for a DDT, but Craven sees him coming and brain chops him to the ground.

Zach Davis: What the hell!?

Shannan Lerch: He’s dead.

Craven, not willing to give up, picks Striker up by the neck and throws him into the canvas with a chokeslam. A cocky grin on his face, Craven goes to pin.

Craven gets on his knees, upset by the fact that last move didn’t work. He picks Skyler up again, and looks for the Redline Hanger...but Striker reverses into a DDT in midswing! The crowd is on their feet at this astonishment as Skyler and Craven are now on the ground, attempting to get to their feet as the ref counts. Both men are on their feet by the count of seven, and they charge at one another, Striker putting Craven back down with a leg lariat. Craven gets back up and charges again, with Skyler hitting a tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam. Once more, Craven stands up, but Striker immediately hits him with an enziguri, and knocks him back to the ground. Striker handspring splashes on top of Johnny and goes to pin.

Craven gets his shoulder up! Striker runs to the ropes and goes for a Roll of the Dice, but Craven rolls out of the way, causing Skyler to land on his legs. Craven immediately picks Skyler up onto his shoulders, and hits the Redline Hangover! Craven goes to pin.

Shannan Lerch: He’s done.

Zach Davis: There’s hope for him yet!

Craven’s had it at this point, and signals for the Lights Out. He picks Skyler up for the bookend, but Skyler elbows at Craven’s shoulderblades, forcing him to let go. Skyler sets up for the Last Chance...and connects!

Shannan Lerch: Well that’s appropriate, I guess.

Zach Davis: The Last Chance to avoid losing the title? I agree.

Skyler grabs both Johnny’s legs and forces him into the Lockdown. Craven’s in there for a good while as he attempts for the ropes, but Skyler keeps forcing him back to the center.

Zach Davis: Craven has no other choice but to tap at this point.

Shannan Lerch: No other choice?! Are you crazy?!

Zach Davis: I was just saying-

Shannan Lerch: Oh, boo you!

Just as it looks as if Craven’s ready to tap... and he gives up! He taps!

Zach Davis: Looks like Striker has another succesful defense under his belt!

Striker releases the hold, but then looks towards the entryway.

Shannan Lerch: Uh oh.

Zach Davis: What the-?

Shannan Lerch: Look who’s here.

Skyler stares at the stage as Bobby Cairo, a smug look on his face, watches on, arms crossed. After a few seconds, Skyler climbs out of the ring, and heads up the ramp for Cairo. Cairo runs off behind the curtain, and Skyler follows soon after.

Shannan Lerch: Where’s he going?

Zach Davis: Cairo took his daughter last week and kidnapped her, remember? Now Striker’s about to get his revenge! Someone get a cameraman back there!

One of the ringside camera guys runs up the ramp and heads backstage, trying to find the two. After several minutes of running around, the camera man finally finds Skyler, laying on the ground with blood running down his head next to the parking garage entrance. The camera man holds the camera to see Cairo standing next to a 1978 Thunderbird, with another figure getting into the driver’s seat. Cairo has a smug look on his face until-

Mike Ragnal: HEY!

Bobby Cairo: Shit!

Mike Ragnal: Get back here!

Cairo gets right into the car and slams the door as he and the other figure drive off. Ragnal and Vice run on screen chasing after them, until the car gets too far away for them to chase.

Mike Ragnal: Dammit!

As Vice watches the car drive off, and Ragnal kicks at the concrete, we go back to the announcers.

Zach Davis: Well, fans, I don't know what to say. That's all we have time for tonight-

The arena is suddenly draped in darkness.

The Return

Mysterious voice:
You think you’ve come so far.
Little do you know, your living a lie.
There’s no one to help you all now.
This is the beginning of the end.

Zach Davis: What the hell…

Highlights of the first WCF v6 match, War VI, begins to show on the Slam-A-Tron.

Mysterious Voice: The date - January 22nd two thousand and six. History was made that night! WCF had reopened. In one of the greatest matches of this federation’s history, Logan had captured the WCF World title for the fourth time. (images of Logan pinning Dake Ken are show on the slam-a-tron) Or so you all thought! Sure it will go down in history as his fourth title reign, but you see… That title reign and all subsequent title reigns since then (now images of Reckless Jack, Outcast, Cairo, and current champ Skylar Striker’s title wins are shown) are marred. Marred not because they weren’t legit wins, but marred because HE was never there! When Seth Lerch decided to launch this latest version of WCF, there was one man he did not invite back. No, not just any man - a champion, a legend!

The images on the Slam-A-Tron now shift to the last WCF v5 event, called WCF Rebirth. The images show a man standing on a turnbuckle with the WCF World Title over his head.

Shannan Lerch: Oh… My… God!

The crowd is utterly quiet, half are in a state of shock and the other half are completely confused.

All the images disappear from the Slam-A-Tron and in their place is the name - EPIC

“Perfect Strangers” blasts through the arena and out walks Epic! Around his waist is his WCF v5 World Championship belt. The crowd erupts at his appearance. He stands at the top of the ramp and un-straps his belt and raises it above his head. This gets a huge pop.
