WCF Sunday Slam Intro

Mogwai's Glasgow Megasnake blasts over the PA system as we start the show! We pan around the crowd as always, getting them cheering and acting drunk and holding their signs and all that nonsense. We go down to the announcers.

Zach Davis: I'm Zach Davis, and I'm welcoming Shannan Lerch back to the announce booth! Have fun last week, Shannan?

Shannan Lerch: ...No, and let's leave it at that.

Zach Davis: Well this is a good show to come back to, because your man is in the main event. Logan, teaming with Reckless Jack, taking on the team of Davey Ortega and Outcast.

Shannan Lerch: Damn right. I hope Logan tears Ortega a new one.

Zach Davis: The problem is that Logan and Jack hate each other. In fact, we ALL hate Reckless Jack right now, as he took the WCF Title hostage last week. Not to mention the fact that Outcast does not want to be in the ring with Logan for one reason or another.

Shannan Lerch: Yes.. we have an interesting main event, indeed.

Zach Davis: We also have the continuing World Title Contendership Tournament! Two interesting matches this week. The Television Champion will be taking on the Hardcore Champion. That's right, Tommy Havock vs Genocide.

Shannan Lerch: Both of those men are recognized among fans as the future of WCF, and I have to agree. This could be a career match for either man, and I can NOT wait for it.

Zach Davis: Speaking of career matches, Bobby Cairo has that chance as well. He's also been very impressive, and he's up against the veteran Creeping Death. Not many people can say they've beaten Creeps, that's for sure, and Cairo is going to have to go all-out to add himself to the list.

Shannan Lerch: I'm no Creeping Death fan, for obvious reasons to anyone with a long term memory. So I hope he gets his ass kicked.

Zach Davis: And in our opening match, Creeper will go one on one with Team of Treachery member Wreck.

Shannan Lerch: The way I see it, after losing last week, Wreck really needs to reprove himself, that he belongs with the ToT. We'll see.

Creeper vs Wreck

The lights go down as the drums of the song begin to play. The lights flicker to the beat. When the lyrics kick in a montage of Wreck's career is shown. The lights begin flashing harder and harder. When the Chorus hits, the lights come up in a big flash as white pyros shoot up every which way. Wreck walks down the runway to the ring as fans cheer and boo.

Gunclaps by Three Six Mafia plays and Creeper comes out smoking a blunt. He gets up to ringside and hands the blunt to a fan and then slides into the ring.

Zach Davis: I don't understand. Is that.. legal?..

Shannan Lerch: No Zach, no, I don't think it is.

Zach Davis: Hell, look! He gave that blunt to a child!

Shannan Lerch: Well that kid is going to have a good time for the rest of the show, that's for sure.

Zach Davis: In the 90s, Bret Hart gave kids his glasses. In 2006, Creeper gets them high.

In the ring, Wreck has already attacked Creeper, and the bell has rung. Wreck throws forearms over his back, and then throws him to the ropes. Wreck runs and Clotheslines Creeper down. Creeper is up, Wreck throws him to the ropes again, and this time hits a Powerslam!

Shannan Lerch: Nice move.

Wreck stomps Creeper a few times before picking him up. He positions him and Spears him into the corner! He then hits a Dropkick to the throat!

Wreck quickly jumps to the top rope, and flies off with the Flying High! He pins. One, two, three.

Shannan Lerch: Wreck has gotten the win!

The bell rings, but a half second later, two police are sliding into the ring, their guns drawn. Wreck looks at them in horror and rolls out, quickly, running to the back.

Zach Davis: What the hell? We know Wreck has had his trouble with police recently.. what has he gotten himself into now?

Shannan Lerch: Nope. They're pointing their guns at Creeper. Apparently you can't just come out smoking up on live national television and not expect to get arrested.

One of them is picking Creeper up and handcuffing him, while the other keeps his gun on him.

Zach Davis: That's a shame. This guy was a future World Champion, for sure.

Zach Davis: Well, next up is our World Title Contendership tournament. We have-

Suddenly, the lights go red.

Shannan Lerch: What is this?

There is slight interference in the lights, and the atmosphere has become incredibly eerie. Music hits.

"You made a good friend, to me
While you were outnumbered and torn
They made us do things... to know"

Zach Davis: Um.

Shannan Lerch: I'm scared.

The music stops, and the lights go back on, as if nothing had happened.

Zach Davis: What was that? An introduction?

Shannan Lerch: It seemed more like a warning to me.

World Title Contendership Tournament
Bobby Cairo vs Creeping Death

The opening strains of Faith No More's "A Small Victory" play as the arena lights begin flashing on and off. Bobby Cairo bursts out of the entranceway and salutes the fans. Cairo then charges down the aisle to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. Cairo again salutes the fans while waiting for his opponent's entrance.

Zach Davis: Cairo has looked sharp in his first two matches. However he'll be a big underdog against CD.

The lights slowly fade to black. Bells toll as the screen shows shots of a big wooden cross wrapped in barbed wire in the middle of a thunderstorm. While the cross is shown ... "Raining Blood" begins to play. The opening, anyways. Giving sound to the storm on the Jumbotron, as that changes from normal rain to blood rain. On each drum hit, the arena lights up red, giving the effect of red lightning. Just before the song kicks in, actual red blood rain cascades down from the heavens, in a wall along the stage. When it kicks into high gear, around the 33 second mark, the lights come on just a tad, giving light to the dark. Standing infront of the wall of blood is Creeping Death, arms stretched out in a crucifix fashion. CD stands there for a second, taking in the crowd's reaction. Then he slowly makes his way down the ramp, looking out into the audience. As he reaches the ring, he slides in under the bottom rope, and pops to his feet. CD walks over to a turnbuckle, jumps to the middle rope facing in the ring, does the crucifix pose once again, and then takes a seat on the top turnbuckle, awaiting the match to begin.

Shannan Lerch: CD has a very confident look on his face. He has to like his chances in this match against the tough but inexperienced Bobby Cairo.

The bell rings.

CD and Cairo circle around the ring before locking up. CD gets the advantage and locks Cairo in a headlock. Cairo sends CD into the ropes, ducks a clothesline and takes CD down with a roundhouse kick. Cairo pulls CD up to his feet, snapmares him into a seated position and dropkicks CD's back. Cairo climbs to the second rope and drops a corkscrew elbow onto CD's chest and covers him. The ref counts to two and CD kicks out.

Zach Davis: Very fast start here for Cairo. Let's see if he can keep it up.

Cairo attempts a whip into the ropes, but CD reverses it and then Gores the surprised Cairo. CD goes to work on Cairo with a double-arm DDT followed by a split-legged moonsault from the top rope. CD hooks the leg, but Cairo manages to kickout.

Shannan Lerch: CD capitalized on the mistake of the young rookie and is now dominating this match.

CD hits a fallaway slam then quickly scales the ropes and hits a Shooting Star Press on the prone Cairo. CD hooks the leg and gets a two before Cairo kicks out.

Zach Davis: CD displaying incredible athleticism, but he couldn't get the pin.

CD attacks Cairo with repeated stiff kicks to the head and torso. CD walks over to the other side of the ring, as a dazed Cairo is seated on the mat. CD charges and connects with a stiff-looking Shining Wizard, then locks Cairo in a Dragon sleeper.

Shannan Lerch: This match should be over in mere moments.

CD increases the pressure, but Cairo gets a sudden surge of adrenaline. Cairo battles the hold for a few moments and finally manages to reverse it.

Zach Davis: Cairo reversed it! Unbelievable!

Cairo quickly drops CD with a reverse DDT. Both men struggle to their feet. Cairo is up first. He knees CD in the gut, then executes a Russian legsweep. Cairo stomps on the prone CD's left leg before applying a half Boston crab to the same leg.

Shannan Lerch: Cairo is methodical. He's probably not expecting CD to quit; he just wants to inflict some punishment to that left leg.

Zach Davis: That's a very good point. I don't think CD would ever submit, but he isn't as dangerous with one leg.

CD manages to reach the ropes to break the hold. Cairo pulls CD to his feet and connects with a delayed brainbuster. Cairo bridges CD in a pinfall attempt, but CD kicks out just before the three.

Zach Davis: That was so close, but CD managed to kickout!

Shannan Lerch: Both of these men are fighting so hard because of the stakes in this match.

Zach Davis: That's right. It's all about the chase for the title.

Cairo grabs a handful of CD's hair and pulls him up, but CD surprises Cairo with a Diamond Cutter. CD shakes loose the cobwebs and then rolls out of the ring.

Zach Davis: CD seems to be looking under the ring for something... what the heck is he looking for?

Shannan Lerch: Oh my God! CD has just pulled a table from underneath the ring!

CD sets up the table in the middle of the ring, then sets Cairo up on the ropes for A Bid Farewell.

Zach Davis: CD is going for A Bid Farewell! He wants to send Bobby Cairo right through that table!

CD has Cairo slung over his shoulder and he leaps from the ropes, but Cairo shifts his weight at the last moment and both men crash through the table.

Zach Davis: What an impact! Both men have been laid out!

...And the lights go out.

Zach Davis: Oh not again! This happened at War, and we all remember the result!

The lights come back on, and Creeping Death is scratching at his face on the mat. Cario takes the chance, and throws himself on top of Creeping Death.

Shannan Lerch: Bobby Cairo is going to the finals!

Zach Davis: But.. what the hell just happened!?

Shannan Lerch: Who cares? Take that, Creeping Death!

Bobby Cario leaves the ring victorius, leaving CD inside. Trainers run out and look at Creeping Death's face. It's littered with thumbtacks. Suddenly, the lights in the ring go dark blue, everywhere else is dark. The trainers in the ring look around confused.

Zach Davis: What is going on with our lights today? Seth not pay the bill?

Snow begins falling from the ceiling. Familiar music hits, but at a heavily softer tone. Two figures walk out from behind the curtain. One has longer hair and a curvy figure, the other has hair down to right below the ears, and a half mask that covers their nose, leaving the top half of their face visible. These two walk down to the ring. The man slides in, showing himself. His hair has black roots, and is dark blue dyed. His mask itself is a dull dark blue. His arms are wrapped from his hands to his shoulders in dark blue mummy-type wrapping, some of his arm is shown in different places, also dull dark blue. He wears baggy black, white, and dull dark blue camo pants and black shoes.

Shannan Lerch: Who the hell?

The man begins attacking trainers. He lifts one and drops him flush with a brainbuster. Another rushes and eats a big yakuza kick. The final trainer runs at the man attempting a punch, the punch gets caught, spun around, and hooked in around his head. The man lifts this trainer up in a reverse Death Valley Driver, keeping the arm wrapped around his head, and drops him down, hitting the move. Creeping Death has gotten the thumbtacks out of his face, and has been looking on. He runs at the guy, but the woman has slid into the ring now. CD stops in his tracks as he sees who it is.

Zach Davis: Oh my god, that's Kristen Volz, Creeping Death's old manager and girlfriend!

With Creeping Death paused, the man in the ring whips another snowball at CD's face, and as it hits, it doesn't go poof. It's solid. Ice.

Shannan Lerch: I remember who did that! But it can't be! Creeping Death did that in the disguise of Frost.

Frost lifts Creeping Death up, and hooks him in a powerbomb. Kristen climbs up a turnbuckle, leaps off in a flip, catching Creeping Death in a Blockbuster Neckbreaker as Frost hits a powerbomb! Kristen calls for a microphone. She gets it, stands over CD, and bends down right into his face.

Kristen: Corey, do you REALLY think I'd let you get close to the World Title again? I searched high and low to find Frost. That's right, I found the man who's identity you stole just about year ago. Your own former tag partner. You stole what he had created. You took everything from him. And now, he wants everything from you.

Zach Davis: What a bitch.

Kristen: As for me ... I fucking hate you. Why did we break up, Corey? You wouldn't let me do anything I wanted. Sure, that means screwing around on you, but goddamnit, I'm a woman! I'm supposed to do ...

Creeping Death cuts her off by grabbing her throat. Frost steps in, but Creeping Death kicks him in the groin. Frost goes down and CD stands up, holding Kristen. The crowd goes bonkers! CD bends Kristen over, hooks her arms, lifts her up in For Whom the Bell Tolls ... but Frost clips him from behind. Frost stomps at CD while Kristen grabs a chair from ringside. She slides it in to Frost, who sets it up. Frost bends CD over and lays his head on the chair. Frost goes to the apron, springboards to the top rope, and flies off, stomping on CD's head with his own move, The Dimebag Drop. Kristen picks up the microphone again.

Kristen: I hope you're ready for this, Creeeeping Deeeath.

Shannan Lerch: That's my kind of woman.

Zach Davis: Of course it is.. but really this is just wrong. Ugh.

World Title Contendership Tournament
Tommy Havock vs Genocide

Three spotlights, (one red, one blue, and one silver) pan around the arena before meeting at the entrance ramp where they all turn white. Tommy Havock appears and stops to pose as pyrotechnics blast behind him. He is methodical in his approach to the ring, pauing to interact with the fans as appropriate. Before he enters the ring, he pauses on the apron to once again acknowledge the fans. He climbs to the middle turnbuckle and extends both arms to "show off" his body.

"Bodies" by Drowning Pool hits the PA system. Out comes Genocide, looking fierce, walking angirly to the ring. A few feet behind him is his manager, "Dangerous" Darryl Black, shouting things at him to pump him up. He is wearing a red suit with a matching top hat.

Zach Davis: Hardcore Champion vs Television Champion. I've been waiting for this-

Suddenly, Rick Mad and Wreck run out from the back, both with chairs. Mad hits Darryl Black, and Wreck hits Genocide over the head with his. Wreck then smashes him repeatedly, and Mad begins smashing him too. Havock smiles and slides out of the ring, walking cockily up to Genocide, holding the Television Title.

Shannan Lerch: Go Team!

Zach Davis: I'm not even surprised. This is ridiculous. Can we get someone out here?

Mad and Wreck pick Genocide up, and Havock runs at him and smashes him right over the head with the belt. Wreck places a chair on the ground, and puts Genocide's head on top of it. They then place another chair on top of that. Havock smiles, looks around...

Zach Davis: No, don't. He's taken lots of head shots already. Don't-

Havock stomps down HARD on the chair, and Genocide is completely limp. His body isn't moving. Wreck and Mad pick him up and drag him to the ring, and roll him in. Havock slides in as well. The ref is forced to call for the bell.

Shannan Lerch: The match has officially begun!

Havock pins Genocide, and the ref has no choice but to count.

Zach Davis: Well... ugh. Havock moves on.

Shannan Lerch: Great strategy! And Genocide, well. I don't know if we'll be seeing him again any time soon.

Reckless Jack/Logan vs Outcast/Davey Ortega

God of Thunder hits as the arena goed dark. Red strobes flash all around the arena as the words ''Hate, Lost, Pain'' flash on the Jumbotron. When the lights come back on Victor Taylor is standing on the ramp gazeing at the ring. He glances to the fans at the right and left of him. He slowly walks down the ramp and to the ring. He climbs in the ring and goes to the center, he looks down at the ring and slowly raises his hand up, opening it.

Shannan Lerch: And here is Victor "Don't Call Me Outcast" Taylor.

The Hand That Feeds hits as Davey Ortega walks out to yet another mixed reaction. He simply ignores the fans as he raises his arms, waving at the crowd. He casual walks down the ramp with a smile and climbs into the ring. When he is in the ring he climbs the turnbuckle and waves again.

Zach Davis: And here is the owner of WCF, Davey Ortega. Your favorite person, Shannan.

Shannan Lerch: Ugh.

The lights dim in the arena, blue pryos shoot down the ramp, and a drum beat rolls into the PA speakers. Metallica's "The Struggle Within" blasts out into the speakers, and Logan steps behind the black curtain which a cocky look on his face walking down to the ring. Seth Lerch walks behind him. On the way, Logan spits at the fans every now and then, telling them to shut up or whatnot. Once by the ring ge climbs the steps, stepping into the ring through the middles ropes and climbing the turnbuckle to throw both arms into the air for a booing crowd. Logan hops off the turnbuckle pacing around the ring until his music cuts. Seth joins the commentary team.

Seth Lerch: Hey Shannan, hello Zach.

Zach Davis: This will be a pleasure, as always. Want to introduce the WCF World Champion for us, buddy?

Seth Lerch: No.

The lights go out as we hear the opening sounds of "Personal Jesus." Once we hear "Reach out and touch faith" the lights are on just a tad bit as we can see the silhouette of Reckless Jack.

Seth Lerch: Personal Jesus? Who does he think he is, Austin Aries?

The fans are booing as Jack stops on the stage. The lights are flashing now as well. He slowly walks down to the ring, taking his time. He hops up onto the ring apron as the lights come back on. Reckless Jack smiles as he gets in the ring. He hops up on a turnbuckle and talks trash to a fan or two. Once he is down, he gets in the middle of the ring to raise his arm in the air. The fans are rabid now as Reckless Jack spits towards the announce team. Once the fans are ready to kill him, he stands in the corner.

Zach Davis: I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the new Reckless Jack either. Taking the World Title that he's worked so hard for hostage..

Seth Lerch: If I was in charge, he'd never have had the balls to do that.

Logan and Jack stare each other down, obviously not happy to be teaming. They're about to argue about who starts the match, but Ortega attacks Logan from behind and Outcast goes for Jack. Outcast Clotheslines Jack out of the ring, and this leaves Ortega and Logan to start. Ortega hits several forearms over Logan's back, and then throws him to the ropes. He hits a big T-Bone Suplex!

Shannan Lerch: Boo!

Seth Lerch: Hiss!

Ortega quickly goes for a pin. One, two, Logan kicks out. Ortega kicks him several times before locking in a Headlock. Logan begins to get up from it, and Ortega releases it and trips him down. He then locks in a Single Leg Crab.

Zach Davis: Ortega is weakening Logan, making him hurt. Good strategy.

Logan reaches, reaches.. and eventually grabs the ropes. Ortega is forced to release. He picks Logan up, but Logan hits a thumb to the eye.

Seth Lerch: That's my boy.

Logan then grabs him and hits a big Belly to Belly Suplex. He then stomps him a few times, and tags in Reckless Jack, who is now back on the apron.

Zach Davis: And here comes the World Champion.

Jack jumps onto the ropes and springboards, hitting a Guillotine Legdrop on Ortega. He then grabs his leg in a pin. One, two, Ortega kicks out. Jack gets up quickly and jumps to the top rope, he flies off with a Shooting Star Elbow Drop!

Zach Davis: Very impressive moves.

Jack pins Ortega again. One.. two.. Outcast is in the ring, and kicks him off. The kick was placed right at the head, and Jack holds it in pain. Outcast grabs him and Ortega gets up. Outcast throws him to the ropes and the two men hit a Linked Clothesline. Outcast gets out of the ring and Ortega then tags him in, making him legal. Outcast comes in and picks Jack up, throwing him into a corner..

Shannan Lerch: He could be going for the Sick Twist here!

Outcast runs at him but Jack gets the boot up. Jack then props himself up on the turnbuckle and goes for some kind of Rana move, but Outcast catches him with a BRUTAL Powerbomb. He keeps him down for the pin. One.. two... Jack gets the shoulder up at the last second.

Seth Lerch: What a weak partner. Logan deserves better.

Zach Davis: Are you kidding? He just kicked out!

Outcast kicks away at Jack several times before picking him up Oand DDTing him back down to the mat.

Shannan Lerch: Jack's head must be killing him. That seems to be where Outcast is focusing on.

Outcast stomps at his head a few more times and then throws him into the corner. Jack again knows whats coming and drops down so Outcast can't hit the Sick Twist, but instead Outcast just knees him right in the head. Jack looks completely dazed and out of it. Outcast picks him up and sits him on the turnbuckle, then begins climbing up with him.

Zach Davis: He's going to end it here, he's going for the Black Out.

Outcast picks him up, but no! Jack starts fighting back, and kicks him off! Outcast falls down to the mat, and Jack steadies himself... He then flies off with the Brooklyn Bridge Splash!

Seth Lerch: Whooo!-

But no! Outcast rolls away at the nick of time, and Jack goes into the mat. Both men lay for a few seconds, not moving. Eventually they both begin moving towards their respective teammates.

Shannan Lerch: Yes! Get Logan in!

Both men dive.. and both tag in! Ortega and Logan get in and go at it, brawling in the middle of the ring. Logan ducks a swing from Ortega and goes to put him in the Sleeper, but Ortega knows whats coming and elbows him in the gut, getting out of it. Ortega then lifts him up in a Vertical Suplex, going for the Hangman's Suplex, but Logan manages to wiggle out of it and behind Ortega. He goes for a huge German Suplex, but Ortega lands on his feet. Ortega lifts him up for a Suplex again...

Zach Davis: Great exchange by these two men-

And Reckless Jack hits Ortega on the head with the World Title. The ref calls for the bell.

Shannan Lerch: Disqualification.

Seth Lerch: What!? Reckless Jack, that son of a bitch.

Outcast gets in the ring, but BAM, Jack hits him with a chair. Logan grabs the chair away and throws it down, yelling in Jack's face. Jack yells back. Logan pushes him, Jack pushes back, and soon Logan and Reckless Jack are brawling!

Davey Ortega is on the outside of the ring, he's clutching his back. He gets a mic.

Davey Ortega: Reckless Jack! Logan! How DARE you end my main event in a DQ. Hell, how dare you hit me with a chair! I'm going to punish both of you. First of all, Reckless Jack. Next week, you're going one on one with... LOGAN!

Reckless Jack looks across the ring at Logan, pissed off. Logan smiles.

Seth Lerch: Logan is getting a World Title shot! The Title comes back next week!

Davey Ortega: And as for YOU, Logan. Your punishment is this. You may be getting the chance to fight Reckless Jack... but the World Title is NOT on the line.

Now Logan is pissed.

Davey Ortega: See you next week, gentlemen!

Ortega and Outcast head to the back, while Jack and Logan give each other death stares.

Zach Davis: HUGE main event next week! Reckless Jack vs Logan! See you then!

The copyright info appears, and Slam fades out.
