Slam Intro

Kids by MGMT hits and Slam is on the air! The cameras pan around the arena before going to the announcers.

Zach Davis: Welcome to Slam!

Shannan Lerch: Big main event tonight, Zach! The new number one contender, Johnny Reb, will team with Dake Ken to take on Torture and Chris Avery.

Zach Davis: Torture, of course, is THE World Champ, and he'll face Reb at Aftermath.

Shannan Lerch: Gotta wonder about the team dynamics here. Dake Ken and Johnny Reb aren't going to get along, period. And as for Torture and Chris Avery, who knows whats up with those two?

Zach Davis: Last week, we saw Corey Black pull a double swerve. First, he turned on Torture, apparently symbolizing that he wanted to join the ToT. After that, he faked a Rick Mad attack... and attacked the ToT as well while the lights were out.

Shannan Lerch: COWARD! Corey Black is a coward.

Zach Davis: Regardless, he got the best of the ToT, and you KNOW that isn't how Logan and Jack of Blades wanted to start this whole thing off. Tonight they're up against Dobbie and Chester.

Shannan Lerch: In a way, Dobbie and Chester symbolize control here in WCF... they symbolize the Dark Side, and they're all that is left of the group. If the ToT can beat them, they're going to be taking the Dark Side's place, really.

Zach Davis: We have the culmination of quite a long and heated feud: Tank Reaper is up against Shane Spain in a steel cage match! Let's see if Spain can manage to defeat that huge man.

Shannan Lerch: And in our opener, that aforementioned coward Corey Black is up against the team of Mikami and Ryan Daniels.

Zach Davis: A US Title match has been signed for Aftermath with Daniels taking on Mikami. Last week, Daniels won the match for his team by getting the pinfall, trying to show Mikami he has what it takes. We'll see if tonight Ryan Daniels can pin Corey Black.

Shannan Lerch: Black has certainly defeated Daniels before, so Daniels would definitely love to get that win.

Corey Black Segment

Zach Davis: After the disastrous start they had last week, it looks like the Team of Treachery is looking to make up for lost ground.

Shannan Lerch: Indeed. And I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more of their antics tonight.

Zach Davis: Well I guess we’ll have to wait and see. On with tonight’s matches!

Zach Davis: We haven’t just got an exciting night ahead; we’ve also had a rather interesting day beforehand, haven’t we, Shannan?

Shannan Lerch: Yeah. Have a look at this exclusive backstage footage taken this morning.

The screen is taken over by the WCF icon but that soon fades into the aforementioned backstage video. It appears to be Corey ‘Creeping Death’ Black, gym bag slung over his shoulder, travelling through the byzantine corridors of this week’s arena. In his purposeful stride, he meets a number of stage hands and road agents. A few of them voice pleasantries in his direction but CD, being the aloof guy that he is, merely responds to each with a nod. Eventually, the pedestrian WCF employees thin out in number as CD reaches a door. On it, a plaque reads ‘CREEPING DEATH’ in bold METAL font. Music can be heard from somewhere; its audibility faint. A wind-chime jangle is heard as CD removes a set of keys and enters them into the door. Naturally, the door opens and naturally, CD enters. The camera and cameraman, however, remain outside filming nothing but dead air. A pause. Nothing happens. Nothing until:

Corey Black: --What the !?

The camera has its cue and rushes into the changing room. Oh, what a sight. It appears as if Creeping Death was not alone in his sanctuary prior to the cameraman’s entrance. A beaten, broken and bloodied figure of a man is strung up like a prize sacrifice. Nylon rope is wrapped around ankle, wrist and neck; the figure seems more like a piñata than he does a man. The noose doesn’t seem tight enough to have either choked or strangled the life from him. In fact, it only seems to be there to keep the loose-fitting ‘Creeping Death’ mask in-place. While the mask may obscure the victim’s identity, it is pretty clear who is responsible for this mess. Aside from the obvious clue of a foot-long hotdog hanging from the mask’s ‘mouth-hole’, the words ‘Jack Saves’ and ‘Logan Has Sweet Buns’ are scrawled on the walls in what appears to be blood. The aforementioned music turns out to be the new ‘All American Rejects’ album playing on a portable CD player. The empty case lies strewn on the broken coffee table with the note ‘With Regards – T.O.T.’ After hearing CD’s outcry, a congregation made up of the previously seen stagehands has now formed in the small room. To one of them, CD turns.

Corey Black: Turn that shit off!

A road agent, perhaps a former wrestler who never made a name for himself, complies. With the saccharine pop-rock turned off, the room now suffers from a sick silence; one that is occasionally broken with the desperate gasps coming from the masked centrepiece. Tentatively, Corey Black moves to the masked figure obscuring the camera’s view as he does. In one smooth move, the mask is thrown from the miserable whelp and onto the floor. Black takes a moment to look at the full nature of the Team of Treachery’s damage before storming out of the room in an apoplectic temper.

Creeping Death: Motherfuc—

The cameraman takes the opportunity to film without Creeping Death obfuscating the scene. The first casualty of the war between Creeping Death and the Team of Treachery? Dehart of the ill-fated MCE division. The video fades to black on Dehart’s pathetic person. We return to Zach and Shannan.

Corey Black vs Mikami/Ryan Daniels

Zach Davis: We now go to Mikami, already in the ring.

Mikami: I am Masaya Mikami. I am your United States champion. I am opening tonight's show. And I have no doubt that this disgraceful booking is retribution from Mr. Seth Lerch. I am fine with that. I will endure any hardship to bring you people the truth. Because when you know the truth, then Seth Lerch will be brought down to your level. He will be as weak as all of you.

The crowd boos.

Mikami: That is what justice is. The weak being defended from the strong. That is why I am here. I am here to save you weak people from yourselves. I am here to save you from the incompetence of so-called "leaders" like Seth Lerch. You may boo me now, but when you hear what Mr. Lerch has done, you will...

Mikami's mouth keeps moving, but no sounds can be heard over the boos.

Shannan Lerch: Looks like someone in the back got sick of listening to him and cut his mic.

Zach Davis: Or someone doesn't want him to say something damaging.

Mikami hits the microphone with his palm, but it is useless. He angrily throws it out of the ring.

Voice: Welcome to Hollywood, may all your dreams come true

The suspenceful tone of the intro plays as the violins set the lets to flicker red.

"WE MUST SURVIVE!"

Guitars hits and the crowd is on their feet and pyro rains down on the entrance ramp and Ryan Daniels emerges from the back with a random T-shirt on he stands underneath the pyro, his head bowed as the intro continues to play. After it finishes the pyro stops and Ryan walks down the ramp

This is a wake up call
To all who their eyes
This is our hope,
Hopeless beaten strife

HE stops at the middle and starts to hop up and down, getting himself hyped up and ready for his match.

You kill the messenger not to hear it
It doesn't mean it never happened
It doesn't mean it never happened

He runs up the ring steps and slingshots into the ring. HE runs up the turnbuckles and stop, one foot on the top buckle and the other on the second he points out tot he crowd, mouthing the chorus to the song.

"This is our mission
statement to go show the world
GO SHOW THE WORLD
We must survive"

HE hops off the turnbuckle and removes his shirt as the music starts to fade out.

Zach Davis: Here is Ryan Daniels, who will fight his tag team partner tonight for the US Title.

No theatrics. No lights going out, nothing. Machine Head's cover of "Hallowed Be Thy Name" by Iron Maiden hits the PA system. With every bell toll, the lights flash brighter. When Robb Flynn comes in singing, the crowd sings along. "I'm waiting in my cold cell, when the bell begins to chime. Reflecting on my past life, and it doesn't have much time. Because at five o'clock, they take me to the gallows pole. The sands of time, for me, are running looooow!" One minute and eight seconds in, when the guitar hits, Corey Black comes through the curtain and onto the stage, wearing the Creeping Death mask, along with a black hoodie with the hood up, and Nikki Venus by his side. Black and Venus stop on the stage and take in the reaction from the crowd, Corey looking out to them from behind the mask. Corey walks down to the ring, not veering from a straight shot into the squared circle, while Nikki walks behind him. Corey slides in under the bottom rope and gets up, throwing the devil horns as he stands, to which the crowd does back. Nikki stops on the floor before the ring and stands there cheering on her man. Corey pulls his hood down and removes Creeping Death mask, once again looking out and getting a reaction. Black takes off the hoodie and drops all the items on the apron, then walks to the far corner and awaits the match to begin.

Zach Davis: Corey Black, now complete with music, ring attire and Nikki Venus, once again.

Mikami exits the ring and points to Daniels, and then to Black, almost as if to tell Daniels to go get him. The two men in the ring lock up, Daniels with a go behind. Black plants his feet and hits a back elbow, breaking up the hold. Daniels takes a step back and comes right in with an elbow of his own, followed by an arm drag! Daniels forcefully tags Mikami in as Black looks on from one knee.

Zach Davis: Huge disadvantage for Black. The only way he's going to be able to get a one up is if Mikami and Daniels beat each other first.

Mikami comes into the match like a house of fire, catching Black off guard. A quick shining wizard to the head and a standing moonsault into a pin!

1..

2..

kickout.

Mikami gets right back to it, isolating Corey's left leg in a half Boston crab. Black tries to fight out of it and manages to get up to one foot, but Mikami tags in Daniels, and he hits a flipping neck breaker from the apron while Mikami holds Black's leg! Daniels into a quick cover!

1..

2..

kickout.

Shannan Lerch: Aw, poor Corey. Not.

Daniels picks Black up and presses him into the corner with Mikami. He then delivers shot after shot looking right into Mikami's eyes with every blow to Black. Mikami watches on with a smile, and a quick head tilt. Mikami holds Black in place as Daniels hits the ropes and comes back with a dropkick right to Black's sternum!

Zach Davis: Devastating dropkick!

Daniels tags Mikami in, who does the same move!

Shannan Lerch: Ahaha, they're just going to copy each other?! Excellent! Kill Black!

Mikami forcefully tags Daniels back, and he drags Black into the center of the ring before hitting a Steiner Screwdriver!

Zach Davis: Breaking Point! Breaking Point!

Shannan Lerch: But he's not going for the pin. The game of one-upsmanship continues.

Indeed, Daniels tags in Mikami. Moments pass before Black is able to even stand. As he does, Mikami climbs up and flies off the top rope in a Dragonrana!

Shannan Lerch: Masaya Complex! Yes! The destruction of Corey Black is complete!

1..

2..

KICKOUT?!

No, Daniels reached into the ring and tagged himself in, MUCH to the detest of Mikami! Daniels, himself, climbs up to the top rope and waits for Corey Black. Mikami rolls to the floor and shrugs off the match, not wanting any more to do with Daniels.

Shannan Lerch: Mikami is through with these games. He's above this.

Corey Black stands and Daniels flies off in the front flip, but as he lands on Corey's shoulders, Black sits out and hits a gigantic powerbomb! Into a pin!

3!

Zach Davis: What a great match!

Shannan Lerch: You always say that---Wait, what the hell is happening up there?

Zach Davis: Huh? Well, well, it appears as if there is some commotion happening at the top of the ramp.

The camera switches from the ring to the entrance curtain where a whole host of different characters are emerging. The different people include stagehands, wrestlers of all positions on the card, pencil pushers, producers, road agents, wrestlers’ girlfriends and even the waterboys. And all are surrounding three particular figures: uniformed police officers.

Zach Davis: Are those cops?

Shannan Lerch: Damnit, they’ve found me out. Who the hell told them about last Friday?

The disturbance outside of the ring has an effect on those inside of it. Intrigued by what’s going on, Mikami straddles a nearby turnbuckle, looking outwards, while Daniels takes a seat on the ring apron. Creeping Death, however, being arguably the most taciturn member of the roster, merely slides underneath the ropes disinterested in happenings that don’t concern him. This however does.

Shannan Lerch: What the hell is going on? Why are they stopping CD?

One of the police officers reaches out, placing a forceful hand on Corey’s stomach, preventing the wrestler from ascending any further. CD replies with a look of absolute contempt. The two other officers move to either side of Corey Black predicting trouble. Gestures are made, CD’s face becomes sourer, a paper is produced from the back pocket of the leading officer.

Zach Davis: Is—Is Corey Black being arrested?

Zach’s question is answered when the piece of paper is replaced by a set of shiny steel shackles. Knowing what this signifies, CD takes a quick step back adopting a fighting pose. The crowd roars at his resilience, spurring him on. A tense stand-off follows. Seconds seem like eons.

Zach Davis: Whatever CD is being arrested for, I doubt punching police officers is going to help his cause.

Shannan Lerch: Yeah. The best way to get out of any arrests is to offer carnal favours. Always works.

Eventually, Creeping Death realizes that his front is probably not worth it. Slowly he presents his wrists to the head officer. Knowledgeable of Creeping Death’s cunning and worth as a combatant, the policeman is tentative as he wraps the cuffs around his wrists wary of any sucker punch. The application of the handcuffs go on without a hitch. Barely containing his anger, the caged bird renews his slow march up the ramp, this time with company. Noticing that one of the people following him is the Pottery Princess himself, CD projects a globule of spit in Jesper Reisert’s direction. Reisert merely wipes it from his chin and tastes it. The arrested Corey Black along with the rest of the human convoy soon disappear behind the curtain. The arena lies in pure confusion.

Zach Davis: What the hell did we just see?

Shannan Lerch: I’m not sure. All I know is that it has not been a good day for CD.

Tank Reaper vs Shane Spain
Steel Cage Match

The cage is already lowered, and Tank Reaper begins putting punches and kicks to the broken down Shane Spain. Tank picks him up and throws him into the cage head first. Blood begins pouring out into the ring.

Shannan Lerch: Welcome back to WCF Monday night Slam

Zach Davis: Tank putting a whoopin to Shane Spain.

Tank picks up Shane and throws him into the cage once again, over and over again. Four, five, six, now eleven times into the cage head first for Shane. Tank picks up Shane and slams him down on the mat with a vicious looking spine buster choke slam combination. Tank picks up Shane and drops him back to the mat back first with another vicious combination. Over and over again.

Zach Davis: Shanes not moving.

Tank picks him up one more time and drops him down to the mat again. The cage lifts up and Tank puts a foot over. The ref drops down and counts the three.

Shannan Lerch: It's over.

Zach Davis: And I'm sure we won't see Shane Spain anymore.

Tank grabs a microphone.

Tank Reaper: Goodnight sweet prince.

Zach Davis: Wow.

Tank walks out of the ring.. as officials help Shane onto a stretcher.

Tank Reaper Segment

Hank catches up with Tank Reaper who seems a bit furious after his cage match beat down on Shane Spain.

Hank Brown: Tank! Tank! Reaper, you just completely destroyed Shane, any thoughts or comments?

Tank Reaper: Yeah, I have some comments Hank. Listen up Wrestling Championship Federation. It's about god damn time I use my size and versatility to dominate the rest of the yonkers in this Federation. This is going out to guys like Ryan Daniels, Mikami, Chris Avery, Johnny Anthrax, Logan, Dobbie and Chester. I'm sick and tired of you guys getting the upper hand, and getting the matches and opponents you want. It's about time I get what I want. I destroyed and defeated CJ Foster, and you just saw what I can do to anyone when the step to me. Shane Spain, and Foster are just the tip of the iceberg that I begin to start breaking apart here in Wrestling Championship Federation. So Hank, I have one comment.. no, make that one demand. You go to Seth Lerch and you tell him this; Tank Reaper is ready to move on to something bigger and better, and he better start finding the appropriate opponents for me to defeat. I want a REAL challenge. Good night Hank.

Hank Brown: Back to you guys..

Zach Davis: Thanks. Hank is always on top of things here in WCF.

Shannan Lerch: What about Tank Reaper, huh Zach? Big dude, and wants to do bigger things here? I hope god's with the rest of this company.

Zach Davis: We'll see how that plays out..

Logan Segment

As Logan walks out his door for his match, he's greeted by a message scrawled in giant red letters, paint dripping slowly down from them.

"I never forget. And I certainly never forgive."

Logan: So an elephant with a bad attitude and a shitton of lipstick. Frigging terrifying. Friggin WCF boudles... What's next? A decapitated stuffed animal?

Logan walks away, heading towards the arena for his match.

Logan/Jack of Blades vs Dobbie/Chester

Zach Davis: And now.. the Team of Treachery up against the Dark Side.

"Quick To Back Down" by the Bravehearts starts playing on the speakers as the curtains part. Out run Chester and Dobbie who stop short at each side of the top of the ramp. They both pose for the crowd in attendance and taunt them as the crowd rains boos upon them. They finally stop posing and meet at the center and slowly walk down the ring, continuing to taunt the fans as they make their way to it. Finally they both run the last few feet and slide into the ring together. They both go to each of the turnbuckles and pose on their own, further angering the crowd and riling them up.

Shannan Lerch: Dobbie and Chester, they've been on top of WCF with Gravedigger since the beginning.

Ennio Morricone's 'Das Duell' begins to play. Simultaneously, a deep crimson envelops the entire arena. The red is dispelled with two sharp pyres of fireworks coming from the ramp. As the pyro clears and the video evolves, the camera pulls to the top of the ramp where Jack of Blades is kneeling in ceremony. Soon after, Jack of Blades moves upwards to his feet and poses as if he were being crucified; his arms leant out, his body forced forwards. At the same time, a red rain of sparks fall from behind him where the curtain lays, adding effect. As the 'rain' dies down, two walls of flame burst from the each side of the ramp and Jack sets down it, his face changing from ecstatic grin to professional glare. When at the ring, he slides through the bottom rope and spends a few moments on the canvas as if establishing the surroundings before charismatically getting to his feet by spinning on his heels. At his feet, he launches himself onto the second rope of a turnbuckle, sideways, and reveals to the crowd a red rose from his trenchcoat pocket, raising it up beyond his head with one hand before catching it in his other and crushing it. This cues a steady stream of rose petals to fall from the ceiling around him as he apes the same crucifix gesture.

Zach Davis: Former World Champion, Jack of Blades, one of the most sadistic competitors to ever step foot in the WCF ring.

A drum beat rolls, it rolls, it rolls, it beats and echoes dying to make the fans ears bleed. Say Anything "Chia-Like, I Shall Grow" BLASTS the speakers. The crowd explode cheering the bastard they love to hate, the Face of Treachery, Logan. He pops out from behind the black curtains marching down the ramp threatening to slap fans on his way, climbing up the ring steps, hopping into the ring, spitting glomps of salvia out into the crowd. Logan climbs the turnbuckle slapping his chest, taunting the crowd, talking generic shit. He then hops off and paces around the ring till his music cuts.

Shannan Lerch: And.. of course.. Logan. My man.

Logan and Jack of Blades stand on one side of the ring, and Dobbie and Chester on the other. Logan and Blades are looking ready to go, smiles on their faces.

Zach Davis: ToT, cocky as always.

Dobbie and Chester, however, look cocky as well. The two groups of men walk towards each other... and the lights go out.

Shannan Lerch: OH DAMNIT.

The lights are out for several seconds, and the crowd has no idea what's going on. After a few moments they turn back on...

Zach Davis: Someone has taken the ToT out! Again!

Both Jack of Blades and Logan are laid out on the mat, and again, they have Creeping Death masks placed on their face. Dobbie and Chester are untouched, and they look around, wondering what happened.

Shannan Lerch: I don't believe Corey Black would do this again!

Zach Davis: To be fair, it COULD have been Rick Mad. Regardless, the Dark Side has gotten lucky tonight.

Dobbie and Chester look at each other and give each other high fives, laughing. Chester pins Blades as Dobbie pins Logan.

One.

Two.

Both men get their shoulders up.

Shannan Lerch: Guess the ToT still has some fight in them-

And quickly, Blades and Logan jump to their feet! Dobbie and Chester look shocked as the two ToT members Clothesline them down and begin stomping on them, laughing. The crowd begins to boo.

Zach Davis: What the hell was that?!

Shannan Lerch: The ToT are smart, that's all.

The match is fast paced, with Logan and Blades controlling the pace. Logan and Blades make many quick tags to one another, with Blades hitting several signature moves, but no ToT member making many attempts at pinning. Several times Chester and Dobbie start making comebacks, until the other ToT member cheats to stop their momentum. Eventually, Logan is able to hit the Connector on Dobbie and pins him for the win.

Zach Davis: Well, the Team of Treachery earns their victory here tonight.

But they aren't done. Blades keeps kicking at Chester and Dobbie, and Logan slides out of the ring and grabs a chair.

Shannan Lerch: Yay! Go Logan!

Zach Davis: You are such a .... I don't even know.

Logan slides back into the ring, and Blades picks Chester up. Logan swings with the chair, hitting Chester square in the head. Blades drops, tossing him to the ground. Logan throws the chair to the ground, and Blades grabs Dobbie and puts him in a facelock. Blades brings Dobbie over to the chair... and hits the Joker's Wild onto it!

Shannan Lerch: Finally! The Dark Side deserves this!

Zach Davis: I'm obviously no fan of the Dark Side, but...

But they aren't done. Logan grabs Dobbie and locks him in the LoganShooter, and Dobbie is yelling out in pain. As he does this, Jack of Blades climbs to the top rope.

Shannan Lerch: Wonder what they could be doing here?

Blades watches Dobbie for several moments, watching him scream out in pain from the LoganShooter. And eventually, Blades flies off the top rope with the Aerial Armageddon, landing near Dobbie's head while the LoganShooter is still locked in!

Zach Davis: That just looked crazy.

Finally, Logan releases the LoganShooter, and Dobbie clutches his leg. Chester is up, and Blades hits him again with the chair. Chester doesn't fall down, though he's dazed. Jack holds the chair up to his face and Logan executes the Impact Style, sending the chair into Chester's face! He goes down, bleeding profusely from his nose. The Team of Treachery stands above their fallen bodies and raises their arms high in the air as the fans begin to boo.

Shannan Lerch: Not only have Logan and Blades beaten Dobbie and Chester, but they've DECIMATED them here tonight.

Zach Davis: Well... I can't argue with that.

Finally, Blades and Logan slide out of the ring and head to the back. EMTs come out from the back, bringing a stretcher with them.

Shannan Lerch: Uh oh.. Zach, I think this might be serious.

Dobbie and Chester aren't really moving. The EMTs are doing their best to get them on the stretcher and make sure they're okay, but they aren't responding too much.

Zach Davis: They are seriously hurt, Shannan. The ToT got them good...

The scene fades to black as the EMTs take Dobbie and Chester to the back.

Corey Black Segment

Zach Davis: And I’m just getting word from backstage that apparently, we have more on the shocking arrest of WCF wrestler, Corey Black.

Shannan Lerch: Indeed. Let’s go back there and see what’s happening.

The scene cuts to Corey Black traversing the same corridors he did earlier in the show. This time, however, his assured smile has turned into a deep frown. This time, however, people surrounding him aren’t offering him salutations; they are merely staring on in bemusement. This time, however, CD isn’t walking alone. No, instead, his stride is being forced on by Officers Donelson, Kuhn and Stansky. Still wearing their bracelets, Corey Black mutters over his shoulder.

Corey Black: What the fuck is going on? Why the hell are you arresting me?

The questions go unanswered; that is until Kuhn puts a hand on his arrest’s shoulder telling him to wait. Like a disgruntled cab horse, Death bucks throwing the hand away. However, upon seeing where they have stopped, Corey Black stands still. They have stopped at his locker room and the place where Dehart was found earlier hanging like a piece of meat in a butcher’s window.

Zach Davis: Seriously, we need some answers.

At Zach’s plea, the locker room door creaks open. From what glimpse is given of inside, it looks suspiciously less like a murder scene. Regardless, what’s actually in the room is infinitely less interesting that what comes out of it. A fourth police officer emerges carrying…the gym bag CD had around his shoulder earlier. Corey’s eyes widen at seeing his personal property handled by a member of the authorties.

Officer Jeffin: Sir, is this your sports bag?

Through clenched teeth, CD manages to force out an affirmative answer. With the bag’s ownership established, the zip is undone and its contents presented to Corey Black. Looking inwards, CD’s eyes widen before his face contorts into a scene of pure anger. Awkward blocking means that the cameraman following the events never manages to see just what the offending article is.

Corey Black: Goddamn it! That’s not mine. For fucks sake, I don’t use that shit!

Zach Davis: What’s in the bag?

Shannan Lerch: I think we can guess.

Corey Black: Those assholes planted that shit.

Officer Kuhn: Come on.

Pushing CD forward with a forceful shove to the back of his head, the police officers continue to escort him down the halls of the arena. Officer Jeffin joins the arrest team with the suspect bag. They continue onwards for a few moments before Corey Black stands deadly still. The sight of Jack of Blades and Logan casually leaning against a wall watching the pitiful scene has caught his eye. With his hands tied behind his back, CD can’t do what he wants and wring both of their necks. Instead, he just draws his face closer to theirs. Blades meets him half-way, the pair staring at each other, emulating the poster from some crappy monster mash horror film. CD stares a stare focused enough to burn a hole in the Bastard Clown’s head. Blades tries to return the glare but almost immediately bursts out laughing and shrugs his shoulders.

Jack of Blades: Que pasa?

Just as it looks as if Corey Black is about to tackle the Team of Treachery member to the ground, not caring about his current handicap, another forceful shove from one of the police officers drives him onwards. As the arrestee and arresters turn a corner, the cameraman settles on Blades and Logan sharing a sick smile with each other.

Zach Davis: No! The Team of Treachery has to be responsible for this. Corey Black wouldn’t...wouldn’t—

Shannan Lerch: Maybe…Well, maybe, they aren’t. I mean all these years we’ve seen CD exhibit almost superhuman reserves. And perhaps…perhaps—

Zach Davis: Perhaps what?

Shannan Lerch: Perhaps…oh, I don’t know! Let’s—let’s just carry on with the show.

Dake Ken/Johnny Reb vs Torture/Chris Avery

Zach Davis: Chris Avery already in the ring with no word on Torture.

"Bow Down" by Born of Osiris hits on the PA system. The lights dim down as the guitars and drums hit as spot lights focus on the curtain. Dake pops out from behind the curtain with both arms raised. He pauses for a moment and looks around the arena, soaking in the fan reaction, before lowering his arms and starting down the ramp. He slaps a few fans' hands as he makes his way to the ring. He walks over to the steps and quickly walks up them. He plays to the crowd a bit before stepping into the ring and making his way to the far turnbuckle. He hops up onto the second rope and poses to the crowd. His entrance is cut off by this..

Bad Company's Bad Company hits the airwaves and Dake Ken quickly looks over at the jumbotron. Johnny Reb comes down the ramp ready to fight. The crowd begins to cheer more than boo but it's still a mixed crowd. Dake Ken goes face to face with Reb as soon as he gets into the ring. Chris Avery attacks Reb from behind which shoves Dake Ken out of the ring. The bell sounds, and Avery throws Reb to the corner where an onslaught of punches is shown.

Zach Davis: Avery by himself. Still no word on Torture!

Avery throws Reb to the ropes, but Reb reverses and when Avery rebounds, Reb hits a huge spinebuster just as Dake Ken slides into the ring and shoves Reb in the chest. The crowd stands up in anticipation. Reb shoves Dake Ken back and begins talking trash to his face. Dake turns around when Chris Avery runs and Dake back body drops him over the ropes. Dake goes right back to the face of Reb. Trash talking some more.

Shannan Lerch: Dake now moving to the outside? I'm guessing he's the legal man now.

Dake DOES move to the outside of the ring, picks up Avery and throws him into the guardrail before bouncing his head off the ring post and sliding him into the ring. Dake rolls in and picks up Avery and nails a powerbomb. Dake slides Avery to the center of the ring, picks up Avery and hits a DDT. Dake stands to his feet and tags in Reb. Johnny comes over the ropes stares through Dake then picks up Avery hitting a standing suplex before picking him up again and hitting a facebreaker DDT. Reb drags Avery to the corner and tags Dake Ken back inside the ring, and as he does, Dake picks up Avery and hits a death valley driver. Avery keeps trying to fight his way to his feet but Dake drags him by the legs, then locks himself into the powerbomb position while Avery is still laying on the mats. Avery gets powerbombed one more time.

Zach Davis: Avery needs a partner.

Shannan Lerch: Obviously.

Dake throws Avery to the corner and gives a few punches before tagging back in Reb. Avery goes for a punch but Johnny ducks and hits a german suplex on Avery in the middle of the ring! Reb grabs Avery into the Southern Hospitality. Reb locks on the submission on Avery in the middle of the ring. Jamais Vu by Dredg hits the airwaves and the crowd stands up and boos.

Shannan Lerch: Torture?

Zach Davis: It's his music!

Johnny Reb drops the submission hold and stands to his feet and walks to the ropes. Reb stands against the ropes telling Torture to come on out. The crowd begins to chant for Reb! Dake Ken tags himself in and quickly gets into the ring. Avery gets to his feet when Dake Ken hits the Uranage Slam on Avery! Dake Ken hooks the leg and pins.

1! 2! 3!!

Zach Davis: Dake Ken wins, but Torture's music is still playing?

Shannan Lerch: Where the hell is he?

Dake Ken celebrates and slides out of the ring while the ref helps Avery out of the ring. The music stops. Reb smiles and nods his head as if to say "Thought so".

Zach Davis: So he's not coming out?

Johnny Reb turns around when the crowd begins to boo hardcore because Torture just slid into the ring with a steel chair.

Shannan Lerch: Torture came through the crowd!?

Zach Davis: Turn around Reb!

Torture swings the chair right into the head of Reb. Johnny Reb goes down like a sack of bricks. Torture motions for something to down from the ceiling.

Shannan Lerch: What the hell?

Johnny Reb gets on his hands and knees where Torture swings the chair straight down on his back. Torture then takes the chair like a golf swing and delivers it straight to Reb's head!

Zach Davis: The cage is lowering! That's what Torture was motioning for! The cage is now lowering around the ring!

The cage locks in place around the ring and Torture picks up Reb and throws him head first into the cage walls. Torture picks up Reb and throws him to the cage face first once again. Reb is now cut open and Torture picks up Johnny Reb and grabs him into the clutch of his finisher. Torture looks out and then delivers one stiff Torture's Device! The Tort stands up and grabs the chair, he also drags Reb to the corner. Torture picks up Reb's near lifeless body and lays him on the top rope sideways so that his head is just above the top rope right next to the cage. Torture steps back, holds up the chair and swings.

Shannan Lerch: OH MY!

Torture delivers a my-gawd stiff chair to the face of Reb. Johnny slowly slides off the ropes and lands on the mat. Torture drops the chair on the mats and picks up Johnny Reb who is now bleeding all over the place. Torture delivers one more Torture's Device but this time Johnny bounces off the chair. The Tort stands up and taunts to the booing audience in attendance. Torture smirks and shrugs them off and picks up Reb, who is now lifeless and can't stand up, Torture walks Reb over to the corner. Torture motions for the cage to go up and it does. Torture grabs the chair while Reb is now leaning in the corner. Torture lands the last and final chair shot on Reb who takes the brunt of the chair then stumbles out of the corner, to his knees, then falls face first to the mats. Torture drops the chair on the outside of the ring and in his back pocket he slides out a microphone.

Torture: Look at this! Take a good long hard look at your number one contender.

Crowd boos.

Torture: I'm tired of sitting back and letting every one of these 'wrestlers' walk all over this place like they're the World Champions. They're not. I am. I am the World Champion, I am the best, I am Captain Awesome, and I am now standing over your last ditch effort on trying to get my gold off of my waist. Johnny Reb. You're going to learn a lot of things. You see. There is a reason why I'm the GWC World Champion. Why I'm the WCF World Champion. It's because I can't be dethroned. You can beat silly ass Dake Ken, and you can beat that big nobody Chris Avery, but you can't beat me. You can be the huge mid carder in another pond, but here you're just another challenger with the same end result as the last one. A loss.

Crowd boos. Torture mutters the words shut up to the crowd as he slides out of the ring. WCF officials slide in to the ring to assist the aid of Johnny Reb. Torture backs his way up the ramp as the WCF copyright logo appears on the screen. Torture slides on his sunglasses. The last image is Johnny Reb bleeding on the mat. WCF Monday Night Slam fades out.
